So, my idea for this Nen Ability, was inspired partially by the current HxH Succession Contest Arc, in which the 14 princes of the Kakin Empire fight to the death in a contest to decide the next heir to the Kakin throne. What inspired me was the Seed Urn, a Conjured Pot, which had existed for what would presumably be a long time, in order for the Kakin Empire to rise from a lower status to the empire it was currently. Just briefly remind people how the Seed Urn works, To prove one's inheritance to the urn, the host (in this case, one of the 14 Princes) focuses their desire for the crown and offers a drop of their blood to the urn, then puts their hand in its mouth-like opening. At this point, a purple smoke fumes from the urn with a tiny female sprite dressed in Kakin traditional clothing holding a small egg, which she inserts into the host's mouth. The princes will thus be granted a Guardian Spirit Beast when the egg hatches. This beast, although it can't be seen or controlled by the princes, defends the princes in different ways, feeding on their host's Nen to maintain themselves, and possess its own Nen abilities that may different from the user's Nen Type, but are based on the personality and nature of the user.
Since I'd imagine this Urn was created from a Nen Ability, probably from one of the first royals of the Kakin Empire, then I figured there could be similar abilities like it. What if there were post-mortem conjured Nen items that were akin to artifacts in the modern times of HxH? Artifacts that could have incredible powers as a result of them being Post-Mortem Nen creations?
So I came up with an idea for a similar Nen Ability, known as "Familial Imp Shrine". Just a warning, it's very detailed and could be confusing, but I explained as best I could. A Cultist Nen User from long ago had a specialization ability that allowed him to summon a shrine with incredible properties. He was backstabbed and killed by his own members of the religion he had founded, but even after his death, the Shrine remained, possible out of an unyielding desire for his beliefs to live on after his end. The Shrine was lost to time, but was eventually uncovered in a ruin by the Hunter Association, where one of my characters ultimately finds the Shrine within his possession.
After researching the Shrine via the Hunters' Tavern, he finds old writings from the Cultist's religion, and through what he learns, activates the conditions for the Familial Imp Shrine.
The Shrine, which resembles a mini Pagoda, is about 7 feet long and 7 feet wide, with a floor, and thin pillars connecting the floor and the Pagoda-style roof. Inside the shrine is a bronze statue, of a demon with four faces, in a meditation pose. The left hand of the statue holds a knife, and the right hand holds a cup. On the lap of the statue sits seven individually colored incense holders with incense in them, always lit. In his research of the shrine, my character found seven different prayers associated with the shrine, each seven lines long, and each corresponding with one of the seven deadly sins.
The way Familial Imp Shrine works, was if a person kneeled at the shrine, and prayed while perfectly reciting one of the seven prayers, then made an "offering" by cutting their finger on the blade, and letting blood drip from their finger into the cup, suddenly, the shrine would start glowing with Nen, and that Nen would enter the one who completed those prerequisites. Suddenly, one of the incense holders would vanish, and the person would then gain a Nen ability, starting with them being able to summon the incense holder that vanished when they made the offering.
Each Prayer mentioned is tied to a Sin, each Sin is tied to a specific incense, and each incense is tied to one of seven abilities the shrine will grant to seven different people who complete certain conditions at the shrine. If the person who does this isn't a Nen User at the start, they are baptized from when the Shrine's Nen floods into their body, and unlock the ability to use Nen, and through training, they will come to be able to use the ability associated with the incense prayer they read out, even though they didn't create the ability themselves. If the person is a Nen User, they will simply gain another Nen Ability, but won't immediately understand it.
Let me give an example: A guy named John goes to the shrine, and recites the prayer relating to the sin of Greed perfectly. He subsequently cuts his index finger on the knife of the demon statue, and drops blood from the injury into the cup of the demon statue. The shrine glows with Nen, which enters John, who is a Nen User, and one of the incense holders vanishes off of the shrine. In addition to his own Nen ability, John finds himself accidentally summoning this Incense Holder. But here's where the true power of the Incense Holder comes into play.
Each of the Incense Holders has an Incense stick in them, which is always lit. Upon being able to intentionally summon the Incense holders, smoke will rise from the stick, and summon a different Demon/Genie-like Nen Beast. These Nen Beasts are all a part of the same Family of Nen Beasts, called "Imps", hence the Shrine being called the "Familial Imp Shrine". Each Nen Beast summoned grants its own services to the summoner in the form of its own unique Nen ability, but each service has its own costs. Here's another example, and very brief summary of one of the powers:
John can now summon the Greed Incense Holder, and subsequently, the Imp Nen Beast associated with Greed, called "The Trader", who can conjure new items for John every day, but he can only buy them with physical objects that hold personal value to him, the costs varying on the item he's buying from the Nen Beast.
Some other examples of costs are from the Sloth Incense, which summons an Imp Nen beast who manages an artificially-created Nen Space that is similar to a hotel, but you have to pay the Imp, also known as the Hotelier, additional Aura to access a room. Each Nen Beast offers a service, with a cost.
You might be wondering however, what could stop a person from praying to the shrine multiple times, to allow that person to obtain multiple incenses? When a person prays and makes a blood sacrifice a second time after already doing so, the shrine kills them, and the incense ability they possessed is returned to the shrine, which mentions an important point. Anyone who dies with one of the incense abilities, that incense is returned to the shrine for someone else to obtain.
But lastly, there is one other result of praying to the shrine, and receiving an ability, that I have yet to mention. No matter who prays to the Shrine, if they have any other Nen Affinity besides Specialization, their affinity is forcibly changed to Specialization to fit the Ability they have inherited, which, although the Nen Beast may use conjuration or Transmutation, since the Beasts and the means of summoning them originate from a Specialization Ability, being the Familial Imp Shrine, the person's Nen type is forced to change to that. However, the person is then unable to create any new Nen Abilities using their new affinity towards Specialization. This is most catastrophic for established Nen Users, who might've been enhancers or emitters, as their established enhancement and emission techniques would be weaker and hard to maintain, thanks to the forced change in typing.
I will make separate posts from this one, detailing all of the individual incense Nen Beast abilities, but for now I hope people have an idea about how the incenses work.
But overall, the Conditions and Limitations of the Familial Imp Shrine are as follows:
The user has to read the proper seven line prayer perfectly, in front of the shrine while praying
The user has to give a drop of blood to the shrine statue
The user cannot to receive a second incense ability from the shrine, for otherwise they will die in the attempt of doing so
The user will forcibly become a specialist, and will be unable to create any new Nen abilities in that Nen category afterwards, and their potential in using abilities in other categories will change as a result
I apologize for the long read, or any grammar mistakes as this took a while to write, but I welcome anyone has any suggestions about reworking it, as I know this isn't a perfect ability, and is more of an idea. However, I just want everyone to know that I worked really hard on creating this ability. Let me know what needs to be fixed, or if there are flaws in it, as I really want to make it better, if it needs to be. Let me know if you like it otherwise!
Ragecraft is seeking new members for an adults-only (21+), factions-based, lightly modded realm on Bedrock edition. Many of us have been playing together for years from all over the world, and our community is very welcoming to new players.
Season 2 just began on Friday June 9, 2023.
Server Details: The world spawn is roughly 0,0 and everything within 666 blocks is considered neutral territory and the site of our shopping district, entertainment district, and culture district.
The entire world is split into 4 “territories” corresponding to the 4 quadrants of the map (++,+-,—,-+); Each player will be assigned to a territory, some of which contain biomes that are basically exclusive to them (ex: 1 territory has a giant desert, 1 has mostly cold biomes, and only 2 territories have warm oceans). The idea is that players will need to make deals, sneak behind enemy lines, or visit the shopping district if they need something that’s not available in their territory.
It will be up to each territory to establish their own rules, such as imposing travel fees on outsiders, a kill on site policy for trespassers, or maybe taxing their citizens’ shops… anything is possible!
All territories must choose a name, a theme, and a flag within 2 weeks of the season starting. They must also come up with their own governments or leadership structure— they can be individualist or collectivist (every territory has private text and voice channels for these discussions). Players can defect from one territory to another at any time, but they’ll need to be strategic if they don’t want to create enemies.
PVP is allowed, but not with ill intent. Any player who causes another player to lose their items must help replace them. Griefing is not allowed, but pranking—harmless gags that don’t create too much stress— is tolerated (but know your audience, because any complaints about pranks will result in suspension).
This server uses Minecars, a robust mod that allows players to craft various types of minecart-based vehicles that have a vanilla feel; these include cars with drills, cars with cannons, flying cars (balloons), various wagons that can be attached to cars, and much more. You don’t have to mess with them if you don’t want to, but know that this mod slightly changes the vanilla recipes for levers, chains, lanterns, and minecarts.
The world seed will not be revealed to the players, but they are able to learn the locations of structures or biomes by redeeming in-game currency called Tributes. Tributes are earned by completing specific projects that benefit the whole realm, and they can be redeemed for teleportation systems, military grade weather control systems, zombie horses, and more. Some ways to earn Tributes include building mini games or attractions in the Entertainment District, building shops, decorating public spaces, organizing server events, and adding exhibits to museums in the Culture District.
Everyone is limited to opening 1 shop per month. Minecars are off limits until 2 weeks into the season. End busting and Minecar drills are not allowed until we all fight the dragon together (1 month into the season).
The final week of the season is Purge Week, where Ragecraft becomes an anarchy server.
We are LGBTQIA+ positive, 420 friendly, and provide a safe space for women. We welcome players from all over the world, but will give priority to players in Europe, Asia, and Australia because we need more players in those time zones. Players who are not active for more than 2 weeks may be kicked, so please don’t apply if you don’t think you would play that often.
Modifications: - Minecars - Player corpse (holds all your gear when you die, and gives you coordinates to where you died) - Ragecraft paintings (iconic album covers, movie posters, famous paintings, and more) - Invisible item frames - One player sleep - Mob clearing (unnamed creepers and wardens die every morning)

We’re also a tight-knit community and regularly have game nights (Among Us, Cards Against Humanity, and more), movie nights, and in-game events. If you’re 21+, play Minecraft a lot, have a sense of humor, and want to make some new friends, please come and join us!

Prompt Engineering. This prompt book will help you learn essential building blocks and
all the techniques to master Stable Diffusion.
The secret for generating good images
A well-written prompt consisting of modifiers and a good
sentence structure. We will also show you all types of modifiers and some magic words.
Well-adjusted Stable Diffusion weights. You can
always use the default, but sometimes fine-tuned weights can generate better results.
This will strengthen your ability to
bring your creative dream images to life.
Prompt keyword weighting is supported. You can increase the attention of a keyword but not higher than 1.5.
Use the format (example:weight). By default, words have a coefficient of 1 (example: 0.4), they will have a lower priority.
Attention for words Technique:
Adding "()" in the prompt increases attention to enclosed words, while "[]" decreases it. You can combine multiple modifiers:
- a (word) - increase attention to word by a factor of 1.1
- a ((word)) - increase attention to word by a factor of 1.21 (= 1.1 * 1.1)
- a [word] - decrease attention to word by a factor of 1.1
- a (word:1.5) - increase attention to word by a factor of 1.5
- a (word:0.25) - decrease attention to word by a factor of 4 (= 1 / 0.25)
You can also use a few words in "()" and "[]". You can also use a few words in "()" and "[]".
Also you can still use this structure: (example, example :weight), so the weight will increase for several words at once.
Examples: (grayscale, woodcut:1.2); (((blue hair, floating hair, liquid hair, chromatic aberration))); (rutkowski, artstation:0.8); (masterpiece, best quality:1.4); [cute, volumetric fog]
Please note that to increase or decrease the weight of several words, you need to put a comma between them.
Start by asking a list of questions
- Do you want a photo or a painting?
- What’s the subject of the photo? Person? An animal or perhaps a landscape?
- What details do you want to add?
a) Special Lighting. Soft, ambient, ring light, neon
b) Environment. Indoor, outdoor, underwater, in space
c) Color Scheme. Vibrant, dark, pastel
e) Point of view. Front, Overhead, Side
f) Background. Solid color, nebula, forest
- In a specific art style? 3D render, studio ghibli, movie poster
- A specific photo type? Macro, telephoto
This is not an all-inclusive list, but will help you get great results when you start.
your prompt crafting journey.
Answer the following questions:
- Do you want a photo or a painting? => painting
- What’s the subject of the photo? Person. animal, landscape. => a goldendoodle
- In a certain camera position? side view, from bottom, from above, from behind => from behind
- What details do you want to be added? => suit
a. Special Lighting. Soft, ambient, ring light, neon => natural light
b. Environment. Indoor, outdoor, underwater, in space => in the sky
c. Color Scheme. Vibrant, dark, pastel => with bright colors
- In specific art style? 3D render, studio ghibli, movie poster => by Studio Ghibli
The order of words is important
The order and presentation of our desired output is almost as an important aspect as the vocabulary itself. It is recommended to list your concepts explicitly and separately than trying to cramp it into one simple sentence.
The keyword categories are:
- Subject: what you want to see in the image, such as a person, an object, a scene, etc.
- Medium: the material used to make the artwork, such as illustration, oil painting, realistic, anime, 3D rendering, etc.
- Style: the artistic style of the image, such as impressionist, surrealist, pop art, etc.
- Artist: the name of a specific artist or multiple artists whose style you want to emulate or blend.
- Website: the name of a niche graphic website that aggregates images of a certain genre, such as Artstation or Deviant Art.
- Additional details: any other modifiers that can enhance the image, such as sci-fi, stunningly beautiful, dystopian, etc.
- Color: the overall color or tone of the image, such as iridescent gold, pastel pink, etc.
- Lighting: the effect of light and shadow on the image, such as cinematic lighting, soft lighting, dark, dark shot, bright, etc.
You don’t have to include keywords from all categories. You can use them as a checklist to remind you what could be used.
A negative prompt is a way to tell the neural network what should not be in the image. You can use words or phrases that describe what you want to avoid or exclude from the image. You can also use weights in negative prompt to increase or decrease the effect of certain words.
Generally accepted negative prompt is considered: (deformed, distorted, disfigured:1.3), poorly drawn, bad anatomy, wrong anatomy, extra limb, missing limb, floating limbs, (mutated hands and fingers:1.4), disconnected limbs, mutation, mutated, ugly, disgusting, blurry, amputation.
Realistic negative prompt: overexposed, (deformed iris, deformed pupils, semi-realistic, cgi, 3d, render, sketch, cartoon, drawing, anime:1.3), text, close up, cropped, out of frame, worst quality, low quality, jpeg artifacts, ugly, duplicate, morbid, mutilated, extra fingers, mutated hands, poorly drawn hands, poorly drawn face, mutation, deformed, blurry, dehydrated, bad anatomy, bad proportions, extra limbs, cloned face, disfigured, gross proportions, malformed limbs, missing arms, missing legs, extra arms, extra legs, fused fingers, too many fingers, long neck.
For positive prompt and negative prompt, I have thought of universal keywords - styles. You may not find them in the examples because they are new. Almost every style has a Negative prompt. It is advisable to write it together with positive prompt.
An example of how to use styles if you want to create a cat image in a Professional photo style:
- Positive prompt: (dark shot:1.4), 80mm, cat, soft light, sharp, exposure blend, medium shot, bokeh, (hdr:1.4), high contrast, (cinematic, teal and orange:0.85), (muted colors, dim colors, soothing tones:1.3), low saturation, (hyperdetailed:1.2), (noir:0.4)
- Negative prompt: neon, (deformed, distorted, disfigured:1.3), poorly drawn, bad anatomy, wrong anatomy, extra limb, missing limb, floating limbs, (mutated hands and fingers:1.4), disconnected limbs, mutation, mutated, ugly, disgusting, blurry, amputation, over saturated
For example, if you want to generate an image of a girl with Natural skin:
- Positive prompt: girl, (natural skin texture, hyperrealism, soft light, sharp)
- Negative prompt: (cgi:0.9), (deformed, distorted, disfigured:1.3), poorly drawn, bad anatomy, wrong anatomy, extra limb, missing limb, floating limbs, (mutated hands and fingers:1.4), disconnected limbs, mutation, mutated, ugly, disgusting, blurry, amputation, 3d, illustration, cartoon, (doll:0.9)
Here are completely universal styles that you can combine and use in your prompt(I highly recommend using them!):

I come from a background of years of D&D, mostly 5e. I've grown tired of combat in TTRPG being a slugfest of reducing enemy HP to zero, so you can imagine my excitement and intrigue when I was brought into a Lancer game and the DM was explaining various win conditions for missions. No longer would I be subject to the tyranny of making some numbers incrementally smaller until they reached zero! No shade if you enjoy that sort of gameplay, it's just no longer my thing.
We're at LL1, on an escort mission. Objective is simple: Get the escort objective past the blockade into the endzone. First round of combat goes by and my girl in her Sagarmatha has been the subject of nearly every tech attack the enemy has to offer, effectively locking her out of moving or attacking unless she wants to take damage or heat. But me, I came into this game tired of simply doing damage. I wanted to have control.
Specifically, two Ferrous Lashes worth of control. While our girl with the Heavy Machine Gun is doing her thing (Namely, killing enemies in one attack with a nuclear-hellfire-enhanced hail of fire) and our other girl is doing her hacking thing... I'm looking at this objective that has to go from A to B, the fact that I can't move or attack without severe penalties, my two ferrous lashes... and our fourth player, with their Sunzi 1's Accelerate and Blink Charges. I speak with them, and a plan forms.
My turn comes; two quick actions, two Ferrous Lash activations to move the objective ten hexes. End turn. Enemy moves, move the objective a little but leaves engagement with it. Sunzi 1's turn comes; they lay down an accelerate, boost into the accelerate to catch up to the objective, move it another 4 squares. End turn. Enemy forces finish their moves, one of them getting in touch with the objective. Reinforcements arrive at the end of the round.
Sunzi 1, the beautiful individual that they are, they throw down a Warp Grenade to teleport the objective out of contact with the enemy, set up an Accelerate, overcharge boost to catch up with the objective, move the objective into the Accelerate... Right into the endzone.
In three turns, we ended a mission that would have otherwise devolved into a long drawn-out slugfest as the objective would have otherwise been swarmed by enough enemies to overwhelm our control options. It was beautifully planned and executed, and I am just thrilled that for once combat didn't have to be entirely about reducing enemy HP to zero.
While I fully expect we'll never get lucky enough to get away with those kinds of shenanigans in the future, I had some of the most fun I've had in a TTRPG in a long time tonight and I can't wait to see what the rest of this campaign brings.
