We are currently building a house and the backyard landscaping is not included. I plan to turn a large part of the yard into a pavedeck/graveled type area for entertaining and have it be something that actually gets used. I have been kicking around the idea of using artificial turf for the rest of the backyard as it will keep me from having to install an entire sprinkler system for a small area, it’s easily maintained, and looks great year round. My question is has anyone had experience in the area with turf and if so what were the pros/cons. Also looking for a supplier that carries professional grade artificial turf. I plan to do this myself.

Yea, one of these. Rambles for your Sunday read.
It's almost been one month since the man who claimed to "love love me" ghosted me out of nowhere.
A man who I've been involved with for 2 years (almost 4 years since I've known him and our long break due to my Dday). We reconnected after his divorce.
I had high hopes when we reconnected. My love for him had remained and if anything the pedestal I had him on was even higher now somehow.
Our time a part let me romanticize him more and built him into something he wasn't.
So this time around, when he seemed bitter possibly from his divorce (they divorced when we were NC and not because of our affair) and he was getting shorter and more impatient than ever with me, I was left confused at his seemingly misdirected anger and bitterness.
The man who could tell me I was "his perfect woman" was now inconsistent and flakey. The man who claimed he wanted a future with me and to build a family together, now couldn't return texts or calls in a timely manner.
I wondered where my once stable, best friend was? The man who knew me inside and out and was there for me during the worst, the man who claimed he never connected with anyone like me-- and the man who made me feel beautiful and sexy for the first time in 10+ years. The man who gave me constant affirmation and all the right words. The man who I could talk to for hours and knew exactly what I needed to turn me on. He said he was putty in my hands, but I felt the same about him. I was grateful for him and he would proclaim how lucky he was to have love from a woman like me.
Sometimes the man described above showed himself, but more often than not he was MIA.
Literally missing.
I should of walked away then...but I held on, hoping my best friend would one day resurface.
But instead, after nearly 10 months working through things and being there for him as he rebuildt his life after divorce, he poofed....he vanished.
And before anyone says anything-- I told him I thought he needed to date, be single, spread his wings, and if we were meant to be-- we would see once he got some rebounds out of his system. I didn't want to be a placeholder.
He claimed he would tell me when that day came. And while there were no signs he was seeing anyone, I know him-- and I'm sure he was talking to many women.
I also think he was scared of the potential future we could of had.
Either way, he never communicated to me-- never allowed me to know. Never cared enough to share the hard truths.
He was the loving man I knew, planning to see me and arrange plans for the following week, confessing his love for me....and then he was gone.
Now, one month later-- as I rebuild myself and try to love myself, I wonder if I'll ever go down this road again, and by that I mean-- trust a man's words of love. Allow myself to love another man like I thought I loved him.
Idk, it's still so early.
But I do know I will keep working on the goals and aspirations I lost sight of while he pushed and pulled me away this past year.
I'm proud to say, I've got exciting things in the works-- lifetime bucket goals of overseas trips on the horizon, new job opportunities ahead, more courses I'm taking to further my career, and pAps that are eager to be with me and spend time with me.
I'm cautiously optimistic, but also I'll admit-- very much broken and hurt, too.
No real reason in posting but feels good to write it out, too.

The player needs the ability to create his own playstyle and forging his unique "build". Refining the use of artifacts to be able to have a more polarising stats (e.g. crit build, lifesteal and so on). More skills need to be implemented so that each players can create their own different playstyles.

1. (More complete) Crafting system

For the character customization to really be engaging, the player would need to craft equipement, consummables and artifacts with really polarizing statlines and not just beat a stronger boss to get better equipement numbers. A job system would make the community more involved with eachother so that each player could master certain crafting aspects of the game and it would create a true backbone to the crafting system.

1. Trading system

Via trading outposts with being able to look for specific item stats or player to player trading. As said above a job system would be complimentary to trading for players being able to craft what they want and then use the mastery of their craft to be able to seek other's work with outposts or trading zones.

1. Raiding or difficult instances of combat Every MMORPG interest is what late game is. It pushes the player to keep grinding away to a goal, often times having the equipement/stats to be able to do difficult content.

The dungeons in TotK are not so much a return to form as a big step in the right direction. While the structure of finding and activating five things throughout the dungeon has remained from the previous entry, the theming and puzzles tend to be much more in-line with what we've come to expect, even if many are on the easy side.
However, one dungeon comes the closest to that more traditional feel. Many would say the Lightning Temple. So many of its puzzles rely on reflecting light with mirrors to shine it on specific areas, which is something that used to be somewhat of a staple of the games that hasn't been seen for a bit. However, it's still not really designed all that traditionally. If you ask someone who has studied older dungeon design the things they find to be essential to that design, they may bring up certain things that truly make the dungeon one big puzzle box, like a design that winds back and forth over the same areas to reach new ones, and a requirement of memorization of certain room layouts or switch functions to progress. The Lightning Temple doesn't quite have that. Its design has you returning back to its central room not due to a weaving structure, but because your four objectives are simply along four paths branching off from that central room.
No, the dungeon that is by far the closest to older Zelda games in all of TotK is one that I've seen a ton of hatred for. One that is called frustratingly designed and overwhelming. I am talking about the Fire Temple.
This is why I say BotW broke dungeon discourse. When that game came out with all its frustratingly easy Divine Beasts, and in fact was so popular that it was many's first introduction to the Zelda series, it led to lower expectations when it came to the dungeons of the sequel. And so when you see something like the Wind Temple, Lightning Temple, or Water Temple, dungeons that are definitely more complex than Divine Beasts but still not overly so, those dungeons give that rush of dopamine. Like they're uniquely themed! They have unique bosses! Unique puzzles! And those puzzles are more complex! I can figure them out!
And when you reach the Fire Temple, which is actually more traditional, you get so much frustration when you can't figure it out so easily. Because the easy time had with the other three and the previous game's dungeons warps the brain to see anything more complex as a ridiculous difficulty spike. I have seen tons of playthroughs where players will spend a long time building complex mechanisms that allow them to ascend all the way to the top rather than even try to interact with the dungeon mechanics and try to learn what they're being taught. It's things like this that make me wish the Temples limited actions like climbing or what devices could be dispensed like the shrines do. But let's actually look at the design of the Fire Temple.
The Fire Temple relies on three major mechanics to construct its puzzles and progression. The first is the usage of Yunobo's ability to roll forwards and break red rocks. The second is the use of hydrants to create platforms on lava. And the third is the real central mechanic: the mine carts and the long series of interlocking rails throughout. Things start off simple. A hydrant is already creating platforms on the lava to show you how it works, which you use to hop across. Then you reach a pool that you must create the platforms in yourself. You get in a mine cart and find out you can use Yunobo to hit signs that switch the tracks around. The first time you do it, you hit a dead end, so you realize if you head back, hitting the sign again will push you down a new path.
Things begin to ramp up in complexity as the dungeon moves along. Now you'll come across rock platforms you must use recall on to traverse lava rivers, or sections of tracks with switches that will move them up or down to create new pathways to different floors depending on how you set things up. Mechanics start to be combined as well. Using created platforms in the lava to build a ramp for Yunobo for example. The dungeon will also teach you certain mechanics to reach chests or capsules in order to get you to think to use the same mechanic nearby to actually solve a puzzle. My favorite example of this is a room with several severed bridges. The player's first instinct would be to combine the severed halves but they're too short to use in that way. Instead, they may discover that leaving one half laying in a certain position will create a ramp that allows Yunobo to rocket up a wall and destroy a block. Doing so allows you to access some capsules. But across the room, there is another bridge with a similar setup. This one can be connected, but it doesn't accomplish much that way. Instead, now that you know how the previous bridge worked, you will realize that the shape of the connected bridge allows Yunobo to reach a block in the ceiling, allowing you access. This same mechanic is held onto in the player's mind hopefully, as it will return with the boss fight.
But it's not just the puzzle design that needs mentioning here. Other aspects of the dungeon's design harken back to the older games. For starters, we have to talk about how this dungeon actually unlocks a shortcut from the starting room to higher up once you reach a certain area and hit a switch that starts an elevator. Older dungeons used to do this sort of thing all the time because the dungeon design required it. But the dungeon also has an interweaving design that requires treading back and forth over previous rooms to find new ways to progress thanks to new information. For example, one mine cart "puzzle" starts off extremely easy, simply asking you to flip a switch to make track angling up towards you instead angle away from you for progression. Later in the dungeon, you will discover that, if it is back in its original position and you are on the correct side, it can almost connect to a room a floor above you. But it will only do so if you remember to keep the positioning of a rail in that room in a specific setup.
I'm not calling the Fire Temple one of the best dungeons in the series or anything. But I am saying it's the best dungeon we've had since Skyward Sword. And the amount of flack it gets is rather telling in terms of how little thought has had to go into solving the dungeons in BotW and some of TotK. I just hope the Zelda team doesn't look at the heat this dungeon gets and decides to make them all as easy as say the Wind or Water Temples in a future entry.

I live in an apartment in a two story building. Last night while I'm trying to sleep after days of sleep deprivation, my neighbor's children whose apartment's right above me were running around and jumping up and down really really hard causing lots of noises for a really long time that were capable of making a sane person go crazy.
I got out of the bed, opened my window and yelled randomly saying "Stop the jumping you're causing a lot of noises."
I hate that I did that, and I'm cringing really hard typing this. But my neighbor opened his window and started very unapologetically confronting me, saying: "What's the matter, why are you yelling? Those are my children playing, what do you want me to tie them up?"
Knowing that I'm probably dealing with a crazy person, I very calmly replied: "Obviously don't do that, but the amount of noises in my house caused by your children playing is ridiculous, that's probably why I yelled."
Then he went on a rant talking about how many people lived in my apartment before me and no one ever complained about them, and if they did, they very calmly knocked on their door and asked them to be quiet instead of yelling it out the window. Mind you, that's BS, they cause a lot of noises all the time and I've never complained about it thinking that it's okay because sometimes I have my friends over and I think we could be a little bit loud sometimes (never had any complaints tho). But that one time was just insane, I felt like the military was having a training above me.
I hate having beef with a neighbor, and I generally hate it whenever I snap on anything. So I'm thinking of apologizing hoping that it becomes water under the bridge. But I don't know if that's the right thing to do. What do you think?
P.s: Calling the police for these types of issues isn't really an option in my country, and I don't know if I want to be the neighbor who calls the police, I just want to calm the situation down not the opposite.

lately it has been building a little nest in the ceiling corner of the deli cup it lives in and i've read that they build a thick cocoon when they get ready to molt so they can molt safely inside of it but i wouldn't call it a thick nest, it just looks like regular nest. i've never seen a jumping spider molt so i don't know what it looks like and what the signs are and i don't want to disturb it during a molt but i have to take the lid off of the cup every time i give it water or fruit flies and taking the lid off destroys the webs it makes so i don't want to do this while it's molting.
