I enjoy modding Skyrim, Sometimes I just make a vanilla plus mod list and sometimes I turn the game into a dark fantasy, etc. Enb's are great for changing the atmosphere of the game, for example, Ominous ENB turns the game into a dark fantasy style. But the thing is my PC can't handle an ENB ( I have a GTX 1650 ). I don't want all those fancy effects that come with an ENB ( for example detailed shadows, ambient occlusion, etc.) They're really beautiful but my PC can't handle it and I get around 30-20 fps when every effect is enabled, it's not that annoying, but my CPU and GPU temperatures reach 70 and I'm worried I might damage my hardware. I was wondering if there is a way to keep the colors of an ENB ( which I think is related to post-passs shaders ) but disable any other effect. I did try enabling post-pass effects and disabling everything else but I still get around 40-30fps everywhere I go. I thought maybe there are some background activities that you can't disable via the GUI menu, or there is some other trick I can do. Can you please give me some advice or tell me how I can achieve this?
TLDR: I don't want any effects, I just want the Change of colors. ( Is that called shaders? Sorry if this is a stupid thing to ask )

Self Explanatory. Is there a specific option I need to change to make my grass look sharper? Is this an anti-aliasing thing? Some help would be appreciated. Here is a link to what my grass looks like in game. I am using Ominous ENB and Northern Grass.

recently i booted up skyrim se after deleting some spicier mods and all my charaters started t posing and not moving all the animals animate fine its just the npc's i re downloaded the spicy mods and it still isnt working is there a fix to it? heres my modlist:

Hello modders!
I've saved up a good sum to build a dream machine so I can finally mod the wazoo out of Skyrim! And hopefully have it be playable for streaming and recording.
I mean, ENB, RTGI reshade, 4K-8K textures with Parallax, high poly models, dense forests, dense grass, the works and then some.
What I'm wondering, is it necessary to go over the top with my build? Is there a Falloff point where it doesn't even matter anymore because of Skyrim's limitations?
For example with my two builds in mind (with DDR5 ram and m.2 SSD), how much difference will a:
i7 12600k + 3080 TI
be versus a
19 13900k + 4070 TI
in terms of fps and stability at 4k resolution?
Can Skyrim's engine even make use of that kind of power? I'd love to hear anyone's experience with similarly powerful builds. I wouldn't want to spend too much only to realize it wasn't necessary.
On another curious note, if I played at 1080p resolution, would the performance be worse or better? I heard sometime it can be worse.

Hello Everybody, Just have a small quick question. I wanted to know if it was possible to use a shader app such as Gshade on a Wabbajack modlist for Skyrim. (I use Nordic souls 2 if that matters.) I ask this question because my pc can't handle ENBS all that well even using performance modes. (high FPS loss) I use Gshade for a few other games and my PC doesn't seemed affected by it. I know you are able to use Gshade for regular SSE so I was wondering First of all if I juts need to have Gshade for SSE or if it even is possible to do so for a modlist. Thank you!
Small Edit: If it is possible how do I install Gshade to the modlist?

Hello! I'm new to mods that use the nemesis engine and was having trouble getting AMMCO to work. While I believe I have installed everything, I still don't see any of the AMMCO animations when I load in game. I'm on legendary edition and have installed nemesis engine, fnis (including the creature and spells pack), XPSE and all their requirements. I'm also using I can't believe its not ENB, in case thats relevant. I'll attach my load order for reference. Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help!

I noticed that my enemies, followers, creatures are acting very idiotic. They sheathe a thousand times, say the same thing a thousand times, taunt again and again, they sometimes don't even attack until i do, followers are barely any help because they just watch me or get stuck on sneak, or shout ''Iaah'' and such things while getting attacked by enemies but not attack them back and just stand there. %90 of the time it's like that.

My budget is $2,500 but I am willing to extend over this amount if need be. I won't be overclocking because I simply don't know how to. I live in the United States. I plan on running anything and everything that you can think of; ENB, ENB Lights, 3DNPC's, Floral/Fauna overhauls and addons, Armor overhauls and addons, Weapon overhauls and addons, NPC apperance overhauls, animation and combat overhauls, dialogue overhauls and addons, follower mods, city overhauls, etc. I will also be playing RD2 and Elden Ring on this PC.
So far these are my notes that I have gotten from my research:
Hi res monitor w/ HDR. ATX thing to hold all the parts. Get the best GPU you can afford w/ only enough CPU so it doesnt bottleneck. DDR4 32 GB for RAM sticks. Make sure motherboard has bios flashback. ENABLE XMP. UPS battery backup for BIOS update thing. 1440 240 for hertz gaming monitor. You dont really need 5GB of SSD for gaming. NVIDIA GPUs are better than AMD ones in terms of ENB.

Hello all. How do i access cabbage enb? I am in the skyrim Guild Discord, but i dont see where to actually download the mod.

I have looked at a few different options. Most of the threads are a few years ago, and performance is simply no longer an issue in 2023 especially for interiors.
I am running NAC X with ENB Patch enabled for Institute blinding brightness fix, PRC preset.
Enhanced Light and FX - Looks the best out of all the mods I tried, but unfortunately hard crash in several places, even Museum of Concord. VR does not support precombine properly, not sure if this is fixable
Ultra Interior Lighting and Ultra Exterior Lighting - The Lux / Lux Orbis of Fallout 4? I haven't found any crash yet but I only started trying this last week. You can see from screenshot it doesn't just artificially reduce light radius, love the hand placed light sources like the all-time great Skyrim mods
Lighting Series - All In One - Adds some illuminated signs and billboards, not 100% lore friendly but look amazing at night and adds a lot of atmosphere
Wasteland Illumination - Same as above except mostly for Street Lamps, think of this as the Lanterns of Skyrim equivalent
Mods I Tried & Did Not Like
Fr4nsson's Light Tweaks - Just darkens some stuff and doesn't do enough for me
Interior Enhanced - Just darkens some stuff and doesn't do enough for me
PsyDark - Same thing as above, reduces light radius and doesn't do enough for me

(fixed) Hello! My interior lights, the lights coming from the windows are very bright. I suspect that this is coming from Lux, I'm not entirely sure as I have used Lux before, and this hasn't happend although when I turn Lux off, the problem seems to be fixed but then I don't have any light coming from the windows :/ (not fixed) I am also having issues with the effects on spells, they're not showing up at all. Only the orbs color, for example there is no lightning effects on the spark spell.

Edit: The problem with Lux is fixed, I use Vortex so I simply reinstalled Lux and turned off "Even brighter lighting templates", just click "None"!
I still have the issue with the spell effects now showing up :(

I was reading through a reddit for ini tweaks, and I read that someone told the poster they could turn off ambient occlusion and God rays in the Skyrim ini to save fps, since their enb was doing it anyway and they would get the same effect with better performance.
Is that right?
Can I turn off those settings in the Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini and gain performance but still keep the enb settings on and get the results?
