You write on parchment, paper, or some other suitable writing material and imbue it with a potent illusion that lasts for the duration.So the "default" use of this is that you have the normal writing, then create an illusion that covers up that script with random gibberish or a completely different text for up to 10 days, and only creatures you designate, or those with truesight, can see through this illusion to the original text.
To you and any creatures you designate when you cast the spell, the writing appears normal, written in your hand, and conveys whatever meaning you intended when you wrote the text. To all others, the writing appears as if it were written in an unknown or magical script that is unintelligible. Alternatively, you can cause the writing to appear to be an entirely different message, written in a different hand and language, though the language must be one you know.
Should the spell be dispelled, the original script and the illusion both disappear.
A creature with truesight can read the hidden message.
But wouldn't it be safer to write a message of pure gibberish, or perhaps something along the lines of "if this note is found, please deliver this to [intended recipient] ASAP, who will understand the significance of this letter when they get it, provided it is delivered within 10days of when it was written." Then use the illusory script to cover that note, and designate EVERYBODY BUT [intended recipient] as the ones who will automatically read the "original" message, while only [intended recipient] will see the "illusory" message that tells them everything you actually want to convey to them. True sight users see through the illusion and just read the "original" message that tells them to deliver it to the intended recipient, because the "illusory" message never activated for them, because they were designated as being able to see through from the beginning.
the last two lines confuse things though:
- "Should the Spell be dispelled, the original script and the illusion both disappear."
- If the 10days run out, does that count as it "being dispelled" such that ALL of the text disappears, both original and illusory? If so, does this mean the "original" message and the "illusory" messages are functionally illusions?
- "A creature with truesight can read the hidden message"
- This part is the most interesting. Does the "hidden" message always refer to the "original" message which the illusion hides, or does it refer to the message that my example strategy actually intends to keep hidden, even though nothing is hiding it and it only shows itself to the intended recipient by having you specify that everyone other than that person doesn't see the illusion?
Curious what thoughts and interpretations other DMs have for this. In theory, this strategy almost makes illusory script broken, but seeing as how it's almost useless as it is, I feel like it can stand to be broken by someone who creatively exploits those loopholes. Even if broken, the opportunities to really leverage it in a typical campaign are just so rare that it doesn't feel like it'll harm the game in any way.

Completely new to the series and currently enjoying myself as a L26 Druid. Only game I’ve played in the past that even remotely compares would probably be GW1!

I’ve followed this rule so far and I’m not having any trouble with any parts of the game yet, but after getting my first couple of legendary drops I’m wondering at what point does it become important to start looking at specific gear upgrades etc.
Druid weapons too - I’ve not had an issue with staff/mace/axe etc, but looking at combinations etc and is it wise to use a one handed axe with a totem as opposed to two handed for example?
I know with crafting etc there’s a whole other element of the game for me to get stuck into, but I don’t want to waste resources if I’m still miles away from that point!

I never paid attention to IVs until I realized some of my pokemon weren't as strong as I thought they should be and most of them are average or I guess kinda bad. I didn't realize IVs were so important because when I played the original games it never seemed to matter. Is it worth keeping until after the Elite 4 or should I just start over with a new team?

 | Once again, I'm looking for some help after being left high and dry by now two pool companies. First shut down by the state. Now the second says that there are no jet covers that go with the plumbing in our pool. Honestly, over it at this point, the pool people that I have dealt with have been the most unprofessional people I have seen. I had to reinsert one of the jets when I found it at the bottom of the hot tub and it matches this diagram best. All of the plumbing that I have seen on the pool is CMP though so it's possibly one of their fittings I just don't know which because they don't show the jet in the picture. The plaster is done and the pool has been running for 30days now with the pipes cut off flush with the plaster. Today the final hardware was to arrive and they say there are no jets that go in the cut off pipes I know that cannot be correct. Can someone please point me in the direction for the covers for these pipes? I truly appreciate any help you provide. |

Hello people, sorry if this subreddit is not for what im asking here but i'm really struggling with something.
Yesterday i installed in my PC the Arturia Mellotron V to try it into Ableton. It is really nice, it became one of my favorites. But the thing is: I plugged my MIDI controller and one of it's knobs was automatically assigned for something like a wide range of pitch shifting or "speed" of what i was playing, it was for every preset in it, it was like a theremin but for every sound, it was awesome... But, i accidentally replaced that knob linked to that effect/parameter with the dry/wet of the reverb. I wanted to assign the theremin thing back but i can't found it anymore. There's a single pitch knob but that only do the -2 +2 semitones, not the entire range of sound mentioned before. Im feeling really sick because it was one of my desired sound in life, it was almost like speeding up and down a vinyl player or a pitch-shifting/sampler of sounds, and can't do that thing anymore.
The VST even have a wheel that is for the tapes in the Mellotron V and i think if that wheel could be selected and speed up, the tapes in the Mellotron V will just be player faster and the pitch shift will appear, but this wheel is just an animation and is not able to be used or selected for what im asking, lol.
Please if you know what i'm talking about, just help me. I've been searching on internet about this but seems like it was not a default thing in the Mellotron V, im not 100% sure but that's why i'm asking here. My english is not the best but i hope you can understand what im saying.
If you know how to assign this parameter while playing any vst synth in Ableton, you will save my day!

I can’t find any sliders that fit me. Tried OS sliders and I wasn’t that impressed. I play ultimate and put everything exactly the way OS tell you to, and most games if not all ended 0-0. However without sliders all of my games finish 6-4, 7-0, 4-3 etc. i need common ground because it isn’t realistic for all of my games to finish 0-0. I just need to find the perfect balance which I unfortunately can’t right now. Thank you

I doing level blocking for my MaxPayne2 cover in UE 5.1
When I start to play and run around the level, everything is OK, but once I hit STOP, some of the blocks and dummies randomly disappear. Only restarting UE helps.
Is there some way to fix this?

All of our servers are interconnected with a cluster-wide general chat (so you can still talk to your friends on Primal Fear if you are just hanging in your Island base!) unique creatures, interactive weekly events, and so much more. We strive to provide top-of-the-line admin support and gaming experience with as little downtime as physically possible with our personally owned servers. Our community is a non-profit group with the goal to provide a place to play for every game available to the public and we ask nothing in return other than our players having fun and enjoying their time here. I’m trying to replace my aftermarket Lime DS Lite Stylus with an OEM one and could only find this pack that still had them. The problem is one stylus is for the DSi and the other is for the DS Lite. Which is which?
