Do I have width or curve? 5'7
Hello! I am still on this journey of trying to figure out my type. I am 5'7 and am having trouble seeing if I have width or curve. I did my best with some typing photos and even included a younger photo and some closer face photos. Stuck between FN/SD/D which I think a lot of people who are in my height range seem to struggle with. I don't have great style as you can see in the outfit photos. I made a post on here before about creating a capsule for FN but I just want to make sure I am in the right place. Please help me out! <3

Thought I had a hair appointment booked for tomorrow. Decided I should verify. No hair appointment booked for me.
I have very limited time to get a cut and no car so I have to borrow or get a ride as well. They got me in for Wednesday night but it's just not what I had planned. Going to the salon after an 8 hour shift is not the same as going on your day off.

2023.06.10 20:39 Grand-Earth2594 is artificial intelligence dangerous?

Introduction: Artificial intelligence (AI) has been an increasingly popular topic in recent years, with major technological advancements and innovations in the field. From self-driving cars to voice recognition software, AI has certainly come a long way in a short amount of time. However, with these advancements come concerns about the potential dangers of AI. Some worry that AI may become too intelligent, surpassing human intelligence, and eventually become a threat to human existence. In this article, we will explore the question of whether or not artificial intelligence is dangerous.
Subheading 1: The Benefits of Artificial Intelligence It is important to acknowledge the many benefits of AI before diving into its potential dangers. Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize many industries, including healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. AI can help doctors diagnose medical conditions more accurately, improve financial decision making, and increase efficiency in factories. It can also automate dangerous and repetitive tasks, such as those in manufacturing, making work environments safer for humans. In addition to these practical applications, AI has also been used for art and creative purposes, such as generating music and art.
Subheading 2: The Potential Dangers of Artificial Intelligence While there are many benefits to AI, there are also valid concerns about its potential dangers. One of the biggest fears is the possibility that AI could surpass human intelligence, making it difficult for humans to control. This could lead to AI making decisions that go against human interests, or even harming humans. Another fear is that AI could be used for malicious purposes, such as creating autonomous weapons or carrying out cyber attacks. Additionally, there is concern that AI could lead to widespread unemployment, as machines and algorithms replace human workers in many industries.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the question of whether or not artificial intelligence is dangerous is complex and multifaceted. While there are certainly benefits to AI, it is important to address the potential dangers and work towards mitigating them. As AI continues to develop and become more advanced, it is crucial that we take a responsible and ethical approach to its implementation and use. By doing so, we can reap the many benefits of AI while minimizing its potential risks.

2023.06.10 20:38 bestie_clyde_2758 I (F20) Found out my partner (M22) lied about a female friend.

TDLR: my partner lied about talking to someone who we had issues with in the past. how can we both move forward?
—— So me and my partner have been together for a little over a year. I had struggled with insecurities and jealousy issues in the beginning but have really worked to move past them as they were all issues i carried from my past. There was one friend (let’s call sue) who had known him for a few years in a mutual friend group. She kind of gave me a weird vibe which i know isn’t like concrete but just she would message him a lot if he didn’t reply (which is normal for him) she would keep texting till he did and some weird tiktoks like one about like “being someone’s remote controlled bitch” and other stuff that could be taken the wrong way.
i found out 4 months in in the very beginning (like two weeks in we weren’t super serious yet) he was messaging a girl nothing that would be cheating but saying she had “mommy energy” and just cringey mommy stuff. he had stopped talking to her for a while before i found the messages. i was really upset and it really hurt me deep inside but i’ve moved past it for the most part he took responsibility and admitted to it being wrong. There was also a girl who had liked him and made a rude comment about our relationship in the beginning that he didn’t block when i asked him to. long story short he was super immature when i started dating him but he hasn’t acted this way (well… lol) since and he truly became a really responsible guy about the relationship. i get it shut happens you act dumb but we move past it. back to the story..
I had expressed i didn’t want them hanging alone till i met her (after the first issues) he agreed then made an off handed comment to her and i got upset but we moved past it. i also kind of kept starting fights about her and how much she texted him and just i was really insecure and jealous but for no great reason. then in march we had gotten into a small argument he went to work didn’t text the whole day and i found he was texting her. i got really upset and we agreed they wouldn’t talk (after a day of fighting. i really could have handled it much better but i just felt so betrayed because of last trust issues. i’ve worked in them a lot and have improved)
fast forward i think it’s time they talk again i felt bad about stopping them and i realized i needed to let go. well turns out he didn’t tell me when they started talking which was the ONE THING i asked. he had lied to my face about it when i asked if they had talked. he said he panicked because of my past reactions. totally reasonable. i didn’t freak out this time. i was upset and told him they couldn’t talk until i met with my therapist. i get where he’s coming from and i wanted to fix this. Then after talking to my mom i agreed to meet her in person and i did and she hardly acknowledged me like didn’t even say hi. my partner thinks it was weird too. we talked more with my therapist and thinking maybe all three of us talking is the best approach? i’m not sure myself i’d that’s the best. i think on all three sides there’s issues but to be honest i don’t want them to be friends i feel so nervous and upset when i think about it.
how can i work with my partner to rebuild the trust? and anyone have advice besides breaking up? haha i prob left out some stuff but i’ve extensively worked thru my issues in therapy and he has been joining for some sessions to resolves this. any advice would help. peace and love

2023.06.10 20:38 Ryunobu just took my first dose and started my journey.

My doses of Wegovy came in the other day but i was hesitating and putting it off because i was afraid. No one likes being nauseated and i don't know i really thought i could make on my own but i really can't, not how things are for me. Being low income getting a good balanced food is very hard. Prices of veggies aren't that affordable especially if you want to fulfill your daily recommended. It is just so much for maybe 5 servings. For me really is more of a matter of diet than being active. I exercise daily. I do intermittent fasting 6/18 and while yes i have lost a considerable amount of weight in the past few months (50+ lbs) it has stagnated and back problems started happen which led to essential hypertension which led to anxiety which lead to gerd which lead to shortness of breath. It is a mess.i know i am not getting any younger so i need to get my body under control before things become worse. You guys have been very supportive and i appreciate that, so i hope things start to look up from here on out. SW: 310 GW: 180

2023.06.10 20:38 TA_BfFriendProblem My (26NB) Boyfriend's (22M) New Friend (18NB) has been disrespectful to me and our relationship. How do I stop feeling anxious?

Throwaway
I (26NB) have been dating my long-distance boyfriend, J, (22M) for almost two years. To limit the gushing, he is so sweet, supportive, and caring. However, he has one major flaw, he is oblivious to flirting. I had to tell him I was flirting intentionally when we got together.
He recently joined a group hobby last year. I am super happy he is enjoying the group and making a ton of new friends. The issue is K (18NB), who joined the group about 6 months ago. I have only met them a few times but from what our friend group has said, they flirt with everyone and are super energetic. I first heard about K a month and a half into them being in this hobby group. J had lost his wallet, so K bought him a relatively expensive wallet despite him wanting to make his own. J was uncomfortable and told me about it immediately. We talked about it and decided it would be a good idea to inform K that he is taken, we were unsure if they knew at the time, and that he wanted to return the gift. K said it was from a thrift store, so they had no idea how expensive it was, and J said it was settled.
K has recently joined our friend group chat. J and K were trying to cheer up another member of the hobby group after their pet passed away. K wanted to bother another friend of ours, L, who is also part of the hobby group. J drove them over to L's house. I was on a group call with L and a couple of our other friends when J and K showed up. K was unabashedly flirting with J in front of me. I can't describe the full cocktail of emotions that went through me, but the highlights were: disgust, betrayal, hurt, anger, and insecurity. J left and went home, he wanted to pop into a private call so we could hang out. He saw how shaken I was, and we talked it out. I tend to downplay my concerns to it took a couple more talks to fully get how hurt and fearful I was about this person. L added K to the group chat that night, their request.
I created a list of boundaries I needed as a minimum and discussed it with J. He is trying to decide how much further he wants to set the line as I created minimum boundaries: i.e., stop K flirting with you. However, the next day K was in the group call being overly familiar and flirting again. I stated that I have been dating J for two years and K needs to tone it down. The flirting continued. I left the group call and J asked if I wanted to hang out. I agreed and we were playing a game together when L and K showed up uninvited at his house at 10pm. L called and J put him on the speaker phone. He said " Hey I know you are playing a game with OP right now, but I need you to come out. We aren't taking no for an answer." I heard K on his end shortly after. J said no he wasn't coming out. They threatened to get his housemates to bother him. J asked if he could go talk to them. I agreed. Needless to say, we didn't finish our game. When J came back, we talked about it. K said they "didn't want [J] to get in trouble" presumably with me. When L got back home, I went to talk to him, he understood I didn't like K but didn't know how hurt I was. We talked it out and are now fine, despite me still being angry at him for being an idiot.
I don't know K. We have talked a total of 3 times max. I know it would be a bad idea to talk to K myself due to this, so I just feel helpless. I have had to talk to some friends outside of this just to confirm I'm not being jealous and controlling to be concerned about an overly familiar friend of 6 months. I have no other problems with any of his other friends, new or old. Just K. Having our date purposefully hijacked by someone who openly flirts with my boyfriend in front of me is beyond the pale.
J will be setting boundaries with them on Sunday. How do I stop feeling anxious while I wait for him to set boundaries with K?
TL; DR: My (26NB) flirting oblivious long-distance Boyfriend (22M) of 2 years has a New Friend (18NB) of 6 months who is overly familiar. They have given him an expensive gift 2 months into knowing him, been flirting with him in front of me, and showed up at his house uninvited while we were on a date. He is setting boundaries with them on Sunday, how do I stop feeling so anxious and hurt while this gets sorted out?

2023.06.10 20:37 irbytay UNIT - A REIT with Insider buying.

Hello fellow market investors.
Let's start with what UNIT does.
Now some research.
When you think about our country, everything runs on the internet. It's the backbone of the digital world. Cell towers, businesses, and residents all require internet and is still expanding. Cell services are moving into the home internet market. Personally I have an average share price of $3.18 and wouldn't mind another buying opportunity but I don't see any reason for this stock to be any lower.

2023.06.10 20:37 cassidyjoy19 Anxious Chihuahua Potty Training (help plz)

So my parents adopted a 5mo chihuahua puppy about a year ago and named him Ewald, but Waldo for short. When they picked him up, he was super calm and cuddly. When they got home, he turned into a little anxiety monster. He’s bonded to my dad and they adore each other.
I have tried potty training him all year, but he doesn’t let me get close to him at all if I’m standing. If I’m sitting on the ground or couch, he’ll let me get a little closer and play, but runs if I reach a hand out too fast or two hands at all. He won’t jump on the couch, but he will get on my dad’s recliner.
We have puppy pads down all the time, but he stands on the edge and pees off the side. Our carpet has to be replaced because he’s absolutely destroyed it. He’ll sometimes go outside with my dad, but my dad has severe chronic pain and some mobility issues that make it hard for him to train Waldo.
Waldo’s a very smart dog, he learned sit and down very fast when I finally got him to be comfortable enough to come near me to get a treat. We have an Adaptil defuser in our main room and he gets a calming treat once a day (Solliquin Calming Behavioral Health Supplement for Dogs) and they’ve made a difference, it’s just not enough.
Our dog groomer is also a trainer, and she’s helping us a bit, but Waldo just won’t go outside to pee. If I can get him to go outside, he just whines until he can go in to see my dad again. When my parents were on vacation, he made some progress, but that almost completely fell apart when they got back. We’ve tried two different puppy potty training aid sprays, but he’s generally uninterested. We’ve also tried a “don’t mark here” spray, but he just rolls in that one (if it’s on the carpet. If I put it outside, he doesn’t care). He also sometime eats his own poop, but I don’t catch him doing that as much anymore.
I do not know what to do. I would try putting a leash on him at all times to get him to go outside, but because he’s so small and fast, he hides in all sorts of places and I’m worried about him getting tangled and hurt. I will take any and all suggestions, I’m desperate

2023.06.10 20:37 Grand-Earth2594 is artificial intelligence a threat to humans?

Introduction: In recent years, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has been nothing short of remarkable. From self-driving cars to facial recognition technology, we're seeing AI systems being integrated into our lives at an unprecedented rate. However, with this advancement comes a growing concern: is AI a threat to humans? While some experts warn of the dangers of AI, others argue that the benefits of these systems far outweigh the risks. In this article, we'll explore both sides of the argument and examine the potential impacts of AI on human society.
Presentation: The Pros of AI: Proponents of AI argue that these systems can provide a wealth of benefits to society. For example, AI can be used to automate mundane and repetitive tasks, freeing up people's time for more meaningful work. Additionally, AI can assist with medical diagnoses and drug development, leading to faster and more accurate treatments for patients. AI can also help us address some of the biggest challenges facing humanity, such as climate change, food scarcity, and energy conservation. By analyzing large amounts of data and identifying patterns, AI can help us make more informed decisions and find new solutions to complex problems.
The Cons of AI: On the other hand, many experts warn of the dangers of AI. One of the main concerns is that if unchecked, AI could pose a threat to human safety and security. For example, there is a risk that AI could be used for malicious purposes, such as cyber attacks, espionage, or even warfare. Additionally, as AI becomes more advanced, there's a risk that it could surpass human intelligence and start making decisions that are detrimental to our interests. There are also concerns around job losses, as AI systems are able to perform many tasks that were previously carried out by humans. This could lead to widespread unemployment and economic instability.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the question of whether AI is a threat to human society is complex and multifaceted. While there are certainly risks associated with AI, it's important to remember that these systems also have the potential to bring about great benefits. As such, it's vital that we approach the development and deployment of AI with caution and prudence, taking steps to minimize the risks while maximizing the rewards. Only through careful planning and collaboration can we ensure that AI is used in a way that serves the needs of humanity, rather than posing a threat to our future.

2023.06.10 20:37 voteblue18 I am a female, not balding, and I just want to say

That most of the men that post here are very handsome and look great, especially after buzzing your hair.
I don’t even know how I started looking at this sub, it came up as suggested for whatever reason and I just started looking. My husband has been balding since his early 20s, way before I met him and I realize how tough that can be for a young man to deal with. But he did, thank goodness, and he looks great keeps it buzzed with a very handsome beard. You guys really look great too.
I don’t know I just wanted to tell you, from a woman’s perspective. Any woman who makes this shit a deal breaker is just a jerk and is likely immature too.

2023.06.10 20:37 meow_mix_beepbeep123 How to not dream so much

Ever since I was a kid I had VIVID dreams every single night. I remember being a kid and every morning I would talk about what my dream was about (they’re always chaotic) and sometimes they would make me laugh or scared or worried. I definitely have lucid dreams/ sleep paralysis - now that I’m older I can control my feelings around my dreams because I have little tricks to recognize when I’m dreaming and I can sometimes (not often) wake myself up. My partner often tells me I laugh, talk and scream in my sleep. I’ve been medicated for about 4 years now and the dreams weren’t so frequent in the beginning but that lasted for a short period of time. Every night I go to bed I get exhausted thinking about my dream. I find myself clenching my jaw so bad (I was told I have TMJ when I was a kid also) that I have pain the next day. The dreams get worse/ more vivid when I’m in an upswing but I’m constantly dreaming manic or not. It’s so exhausting. Does anyone have tips for how to reduce dreams/teeth grinding?
For the jaw clenching I’ve used a night guard but I bite through them or spit them out in my sleep 😞. Maybe I’ve used bad kinds? Are there any comfortable brands you would suggest?
I haven’t tried much related to dreaming besides a medication regimen and not eating chocolate before bed.

2023.06.10 20:36 Aggravating-Way2735 25 [M4F] Belgium Looking for a manic pixie dream girl

Hi, my name is Glenn and I'm a 25-year-old photography student. At this point in time I should actually be studying for my exams but all I wanna do at the moment is listening to some music while I lay on my back next to someone I love on a hot summer night.
I am a shy guy but at the same time I am the craziest one of my friend group and also probably the one that does the dumbest things in life... Got a dry sense of humor and am basically a hopeless romantic, gotta keep thinking about the plot...
I spend my free time by listening to music, playing videogames, watching F1 or other races and even doing some (sim)racing myself. You have to believe me when I say that I also go outside, kinda needed as a photographer though. I have a wide range of music but I mostly listen to emo rap or punk music in the likes of juicewrld, xxxtentacion, lil peep, Avril Lavigne, MGK,...and some other less known artists like kennyhoopla, jack Kays, ILYTommy, Roderick Porter, ... I also used to hit the gym quite frequently and do some cycling but that came to a hold for some time, but I'm looking to start exercising again.
As for my appearance I am caucasian, build normal, have blue eyes and long brown hair.
I have a thing for nose rings and alternative girls (f.e. Maeve Wiley, Avril Lavigne)
Do you wanna be my manic pixie dream girl or do you wanna talk about something that I mentioned or wanna get to know me better? Chat is open for everything.

2023.06.10 20:36 Stone-wallJackson [WTS] Small Sebenza 31 DP black micarta S35, Rosecraft Surgeon’s knife slippie

Timestamp and Vids
Hey guys, today I have up for sale a Sebenza 31 small in Black micarta. This is the first production of these from late 2020, so it still has an S35 blade. All in all good condition, some light snails on the lock side, although the clip is pretty scuffed. I also put my own edge in it with a kme, I think it was a 20 degree edge. I’m also including one of the hawk clips which is in better condition than the stock one, although very lightly scuffed. I can let this one go for SV $425.
Second is the Rosecraft Surgeons knife. Pretty cool pattern, I love these doctor style knives. But this one is completely unused, only took it out of the box, then I went to blade show and need to recoup some funds. For as cheap as these are they are pretty nice. Average walk and talk, maybe a 5/10. This one is $43 at least new online without shipping, I can get it to your door for SV $35 shipped.
Feel free to ask any questions. Looking to sell only right now, CONUS only.

2023.06.10 20:36 I_donut_ If anyone can help, I'm a second generation Canadian with a British family, is it possible for me to claim UK citizenship?

Long story short I'm 17, my grandparents are British/Canadian citizens. My aunt and uncle were born in the UK but my mother was born in Ontario CA 1 year after my grandparent immigrated. My mother has had a UK passport and inherited citizenship. I would like to live in the UK for a time and would love to know if I inherited citizenship or can easily get it.

Would my curl type allow for a mullet/shaggy cut
I have had essentially the same style of cut for several years now and I’ve been dying for a change. I’ve been really tempted to go for a mullet/more shaggy look but I’m scared my curl type won’t work with the style. Thoughts and suggestions?
