I want to preface this by saying I’m interested in a discussion about what value widow can bring moving forward relative to other snipers or sniper-like heroes, this isn’t a complaint post and I’m not really trying to make or get opinions on if the patch is good or bad (there is lots of that already in the OW threads).

With widows range being cut roughly in half for full damage, and about 40% (I think) for squishy kill shots, are there still going to be any situations in game where it’s better to have a widow than an Ashe?
I mean like maps, team comp, enemy comp, etc where a widow pick actually provides more value (or potential value) assuming skill levels and all are the same across the heroes.
I’ve seen a lot of mixed comments regarding this, which I guess is expected given the polarized views on Widow in general - ranging from “this won’t make any difference” to “she’s a throw pick now”
Personally I think she doesn’t have any realistic advantages over Ashe anymore, because even with the midrange 1 shot potential she’s forced to take harder shots, in less forgiving conditions, and with much less ability to defend herself when compared to someone like Ashe. Especially with the similarity in their aim, anyone who can land a consistent headshot from Widows new range could just as easily hand the viper scope into hip combo with Ashe and get the same kill. Meanwhile Ashe can provide more value throughout the game with higher damage output, dynamite, and coach gun.
I imagine there will be specific situations where widow could be better, like a specific bend on a map or something, but I don’t see it being more than that.

I have many trichocereus cuts available for sale in the US. All organically grown, no pesticides or fungicides used, full colorado sun. All but 4 varieties are seed grown and at least 4 years old, some being closer to 10. Many are rooted and all are ready to start pumping some new growth.

Had a contractor install new inlet/outlet risers on our septic and 2 new french drains for our gutters. One is under our gravel driveway out front, and the other is under what will be a new concrete patio in the back. In the driveway, he left a bunch of big rocks and the area is super bumpy and 2-3” higher than the driveway was before. Should he have tried to regrade this better? In the back, the pipe is visible right at the level of the gravel where the concrete will be poured (concrete crew already came out to grade this, they were aware the drain was being installed later). Should this pipe be deeper? Also, the catch grate is too far out. It rained a little yesterday and the trickle from the gutter missed the grate completely. Did he place this incorrectly? In the yard, he did a terrible job smoothing out the dirt and putting the sod back. It’s full of big rocks and is a giant hump. Is this just what you get or should this have been patched cleaner? I got promoted to project manager at the testing lab I work at about a month ago, and have been working long hours to acquaint myself with the position and get comfortable. In addition, I teach weekly ESL classes to Spanish and Haitian Creole-speaking locals. I’ve had to financially support my mom (long story short: my father is a complete non-factor in my life) and manage our home for the past few years, which has locked me into “workaholic” mode. With the promotion/raise, Mom’s health improving, and less need to work long shifts now that I’ve got my shit together though, it looks like I may be free to start relaxing and enjoying myself. Free to “live” a little, so to speak. My ultimate goal, career-wise, is to break into financial or managerial accounting, but hopefully not be married to my work and have time to take things easy and enjoy the little things in life between work.
Just about anyone who knows me would describe me as calm, collected, blunt, and generally on top of things. I don’t mince words when I see that something is wrong, and I like to see issues resolved or at least communicated as quickly and thoroughly as possible. I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that a lot of people seem to find hilarious. For anyone who cares (I personally don’t), I’m a Libra and apparently an extreme ISTJ. (A buddy made me take a test) Outside of my work and personal responsibilities, though, I tend to be pretty relaxed and unconcerned about most things. A lot of stuff just isn’t worth losing sleep over, you know? That aside, I tend to appreciate the more quiet and simple things in life, so I tend not to get along with loud or materialistic people, or people who always need drama and noise in their lives.
Just a few things I like to indulge in, when I can:

- Reading/Literature (I’m on a hunt for rustic, realistic/historical fiction kind of novels like Pearl S. Buck’s “House of Earth” trilogy or more psychedelic or dark works like Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore or Ozamu Dazai’s No Longer Human.)
- Documentaries about history, social phenomena, true crime, and nature
- Studying foreign languages (I know 4) as well as learning about foreign countries’ history, culture, and recent/current goings-on
- Anime and manga. Thoroughly familiar with Naruto (not Boruto, though), Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan, but now I’m more interested in more experimental, dark, and lesser-known/standalone works like Samurai Champloo or Texhnolyze or Mushishi. My most recent readthrough was Holyland.
- Gaming, although I’m as casual as it gets. I only have a Switch at the moment, and mostly play Smash, Saint’s Row, Animal Crossing, Sifu,and Street Fighter, although I’m getting more and more interested in fighting games by the day. I’m hoping to get a PS4 sometime in the future. Also currently replaying Pokemon HeartGold and Black 2, so Pokemon nerds, feel free to hit me up!
- Putting together folders of cool images, backgrounds, aesthetics, and scenery.
- Listening to music and putting together playlists. I’m super into metal, alternative, bossa… Anything on the mellower side, I guess, although I’ll listen to just about anything besides country. Tell me all about your favorite artists.

I am very confused about the process of moving out and I could really use your help here. My details are as follows:
Age: 22
City: Ottawa
Income at the time of moving out: approximately 74000 pre-tax (government job so maybe roughly 3700 per month after tax; 5700 gross); possible raise to 81000 if the new collective agreement is ratified.
Debt: none
Credit score: 815
Moving date: between July and early September
Apartment type: 2 bedroom anywhere in Ottawa
As for my roommate, he is coming from Poland with approximately $10,000 in savings. When he immigrates to Canada he won't have a job so he will look for employment as soon as he lands here - he will most likely get a "survival" job until he finds something related to his field (IT).
My questions are as follows:

1. I have an extensive credit history in Canada, my roommate has none. What is the best way to sign a lease? Sign a lease myself then add him to it? Try to sign both of us at the same time? Or sign it for myself and just have him move in?
2. Would having a realtor make a difference? I've never heard about using realtors to rent but maybe the current housing crisis changed things.
3. Do you have any other tips for my situation?

My seventies/eighties childhood was full of weird obsessions with topics ranging from pop culture to history to conspiracy theories. Once I’d read all the books in the local library, I would beg my mom to go to new libraries or book stores — just praying for some tiny scrap of new info on whatever craze it was now.
I always felt informationally impoverished — with never enough to feed my insatiable need to know MORE. There were other people with that obsession? You mean, I’m not a freak? Nope. No way of knowing that.
I will never get tired of randomly googling “Anastasia” and “Russian revolution” just to marvel at the riches of photos and info that I would have died for as a kid. I literally cry thinking how much that would have meant to my lonely, undiagnosed self.

When I try to open full calendar on iPad, obsidian freezes and after while entire screen goes black and obsidian app is forcibly terminated. The same behaviour would not happen on iphone… I like this plugin pretty much and want to use on iPad too. I would appreciate your advice.
