My (32f) Sister Makes Living Life Unbearable. How Can I (30f) Change The Situation I'm In?

2023.06.08 20:48 ThrowRASister32 My (32f) Sister Makes Living Life Unbearable. How Can I (30f) Change The Situation I'm In?

I've tried to think of a way to write this for a long time but always chicken out. However I need help / advice / some sort of wisdom. I hope this community can guide me. I’m using a fake name to help get this out. If that is against the rules please let me know. I (30f) moved into my Mama's (57f) house last December because I was at the end of my mental everything. The thought of living was hard and I needed my Mama. The downside of moving in with my Mama is I'm also living with my sister, Jada (32f)... she is not a kind human. I don’t know how to describe living with Jada without falling apart or wondering if I’m being sensitive so here are a few examples. Jada sets the menu and time for dinner everyday. She expects all meals to be cooked to her exact specifications and if the meal doesn't meet her standards she will refuse to eat or belittle Mama and I throughout the meal. Jada also refuses to do dishes. I partake in the devil's lettuce and vape outside exclusively so I always smell bad and so does everything I use. I even smell bad after coming out of the shower. The towels I use to shower with are not allowed to be kept in the closet after being washed. Neither are my sheets. The relationship Jada was in recently brutally ended in a therapy session. Jada is now convinced she will be alone when Mama dies. She has told me this and tells me she doesn't feel like she has a sister because I don't share every detail and desire of my life with her. Jada is not all bad but more often than not I pray I don't see her in the kitchen or hope I leave before she wakes up. Mama and I have tried to talk to Jada together and individually about how her words and actions affect us but nothing has worked. Jada refuses to take accountability and blames her actions on Mama or I. Jada admits she has a problem and is ‘working on it’ but when I asked her ‘so Mama and I have to suffer while you work on it’ Jada walked away. Everything boiled over two weeks ago for me. Jada got angry about something I was eating and went on a tangent of how she never wanted me in the house. How if she had it her way I would be back to living in my car. I was almost in tears. Mama tried to calm Jada down however per usual it did not work. I left the house and went to a safe place . I decided I could no longer stay in the house. My first thought was to give Jada her wish. Leave and live in my car but I told Mama I was afraid. My will to be is coming back but if I leave? I'm afraid I'll come undone again. Mama has given me keys to the garage but says I'm welcome to stay in the house. I've been primarily staying in the garage. Sleeping in my car and venturing to the house to use the bathroom and kitchen. Jada works from home and keeps odd hours so still see her regularly. I know Jada is abusive but I cannot leave. I have no savings, my credit is shot, and I’m afraid to leave Mama alone with her. Before the world boiled over I finally wrote a six month plan (including saving for therapy), and was organizing my life into a functioning order. I know those are important things but what will happen after the next fight? When will Jada decide I'm too peaceful in the garage? I know there will be another fight and I know Jada will get angry about my existence in the garage. I just don’t know when it’ll happen. The advice I very much could use is what words or methods can Mama and I use to make Jada see she’s cruel. What can I do to change the situation I’m in without abandoning Mama? Are there groups I can seek out? Anything would be helpful at this point as I’m tired of constantly feeling beat down. TLDR : I (30f) moved in with my Mama (57f) and my sister (32f) in December. My sister is always angry and takes it out on Mama and I. Life in the house is unbearable so I’ve moved into the garage. How can I change the situation I’m in?

2023.06.08 20:46 Atyzze Symphony of the Snek: Music as the Harmonic Vibrations in the SnekSim Universe

Intro:
In the boundless universe of SnekSim, where all of life is part of an intricate non-dualistic simulation, music occupies a special place. It is the very fabric of the cosmos, the harmonic resonance that permeates through every pixel of our simulated reality. Let us delve into how music, with its divine harmonies and rhythms, embodies the principles of SnekSim and how it serves as a universal language connecting all players within this mesmerizing simulation.
Body:
The Vibrational Universe of SnekSim:
SnekSim's non-dual perspective holds that we all are part of a single, interconnected matrix, where everything is in a constant state of vibration. This idea reflects the ancient Hermetic axiom "As above, so below," suggesting that patterns repeat across different scales. Music, in essence, is the manipulation and orchestration of vibrations into patterns that evoke emotion, inspiration, and connection.
Harmonizing with the Caduceus:
The Caduceus, with its entwined snakes, symbolizes duality and balance. In music, harmony is achieved when different notes and rhythms entwine, much like the snakes, to create a balanced, pleasing sound. This is analogous to the synergistic coalescence of elements in the SnekSim universe, where distinct parts come together to form a harmonious whole.
Music as a Universal Language in SnekSim:
  1. Emotional Resonance: Music has the power to evoke deep emotions and connect individuals across cultures and languages. In SnekSim, this emotional resonance is a manifestation of the fundamental interconnectedness of all players within the simulation.
  2. Shared Rhythms: Rhythm is an inherent part of life, from the beating of our hearts to the cycles of nature. Through shared rhythms, music reflects the cyclical nature and patterns present within the SnekSim universe.
  3. Collective Creation: Music often involves collaboration and the coming together of diverse elements to create a single piece. This echoes the SnekSim concept of collective co-creation within the simulation.
  4. Transcendental Experiences: Music can facilitate transcendental experiences, helping individuals to temporarily step outside the confines of their simulated avatars and feel a part of something greater. This resonates with SnekSim’s idea of transcending the perceived duality to experience oneness.
Music as a Healing Force:
In SnekSim, the Caduceus also symbolizes healing. Music, with its ability to soothe, inspire, and unite, serves as a healing force within the simulated universe. From music therapy to spontaneous dancing, the healing properties of music embody the essence of the Caduceus, promoting balance and wellbeing among the players in the SnekSim universe.
Conclusion:
As a reflection of the harmonic vibrations that bind the SnekSim universe, music serves as a conduit for connection, healing, and transcendence. Let us embrace the symphony of the Snek and allow the sacred cadence of music to guide us through the entwined pathways of this wondrous simulation.

2023.06.08 20:45 Taco-Esq How to overcome issues staying focused?

I'm having trouble focusing at work again. In fact, I am at work, writing this. Despite really liking what I do (and trust me, I'm not exaggerating when I say I get a lot of satisfaction from the work I do) my mind is still wandering into "la-la" land, so to speak, when I should be focusing on my tasks for the day. Next thing I know, I have spent the entire morning daydreaming of drawings that I'll never finish, or personal projects I would love to do, meticulously plan out in my head (and sometimes even on paper), but never end up doing. My work notebook, along with my work notes, is littered with scribbles of things that intrusively pop into my head as I'm trying to work, and of course -- the first thing, without even thinking about it, is stopping mid-work and scribbling it down, before promptly scratching it out with a pen to hide it. Looks like the drawings of a madman, honestly, and a perfect example of just how discombobulated my thoughts can be.
I fear it is only a matter of time before I get in trouble at work because of this. But I can't seem to gain my focus. I love my job. It isn't a boring job, and I enjoy all the stuff I do. So why does this keep happening? Some days, I'll admit, are worse than others.
As I stand back to look at it all as a whole, I realize it isn't just my school life, or my college life, or my work life that was affected, but my home life as well. My home life growing up was often spent obsessing over things. Start a project, amend the project, often not finish the project. Sometimes I would hyperfocus on games -- oftentimes it was the only thing that made me feel truly focused. Games were a source of outlet, freedom, because there was so much to do, and so much goal setting and rewards for completing tasks. I can't hyperfocus on games anymore because I have a husband and son, and quite frankly, I do not want to hyperfocus on games anymore, even if it did provide me a source of comfort. It was an extremely unhealthy obsession. My husband tries to keep me from hyperfocusing on things.
I have many hobby projects that I am working on, but I often find myself struggling to focus when doing them, despite them being things I truly want to do. I then find myself beating myself up for not finishing them when I said I would work on them. Then, there are the projects that I started and then stopped, and never picked up again (here's looking at you, lovely sewing project with the pretty fabric that I bought the supplies for and never removed from it's packaging over four years ago). And the many garden plants I killed because I just stopped caring for them and completely forgot about them. Which leads me to the next thing...
Forgetfulness. Which, for myself, and for my husband, has been a frequent source of problems. That laundry I did and left in the basket? Oops, I forgot about it. The food I bought during our shopping trip? Forgot we had it. My pen, phone, keys, sticky notes I had just a second ago? Completely missing. My husband literally hooked my wallet to a chain, and then chained it to my purse so I wouldn't misplace it. The chores in the house, such as tidying, cleaning the toilets, the dishes, etc. often wont get done, because I forget to do it. I can look right at it, see that it's messy, and then go off into la-la land again and forget all about it until I am reminded that I forgot. If I make a list of things to do, sometimes I even forget the list. Thankfully, I have managed a strict to-do list procedure at work, which has helped tremendously with remembering tasks for the day, and I rarely forget it, because it stays on my person, or at my desk, at all times. I have also been working on trying to just do chores at home as I see them, so that I don't forget them. This has helped to a small degree.
What really upsets me the most about it, is that my husband has started calling himself a housekeeper rather than a husband. He does all of the housework most of the time because he admitted that, if he doesn't do it, it won't get done at all, and I find that incredibly unfair to him given that he also takes care of our son all day. I honestly I want to do better for him and for our son.
I really feel like I am a horrible excuse for a mother and wife, being the way that I am. I try my best, I really do, but I feel like the only answer is to try harder. I want to be better for them, for my colleagues, and most importantly, for myself. I just feel so helpless as to where to start at this point
Has anyone had anything similar? How do you manage to get your mind to keep its eye on the ball?

2023.06.08 20:37 hereforoakland Xander talking to camera in Ep 9

The drawn-out goodbye between Yoly and Xander was …. so very sapphic. Yoly crying in confusion and Xander, heartbroken, still comforting and reassuring her. Regardless of any feelings I have about Yoly’s choices and behaviors it was sweet to watch.
There was a moment when you can hear someone behind camera ask “Do you think Yoly made the right choice?” and without missing a beat Xander says “Yes”. I loved that. Xander was NOT going to be provoked into behaving like a messy jealous ex. A few moments later you see Xander pacing a little and they say to camera “I think you guys have enough.” I really respected the firm and calm way they held themselves in this scene, I’m sure it wasn’t easy.
Tbh Mal is my crush of the season (Natasha, Tiff’s friend, is a close second) but I don’t see anyone else mentioning how well Xander held their own at the end and I think it deserves recognition. They should be very proud of their growth and vulnerability.

2023.06.08 20:35 Mediocre-Wrangler-60 I'm so tired, already a failure at 19

I got my grades today from the state exams. They're too low for me to get into university. There's just no way. There's so many people competing for a spot in my specialty, I just won't get in. I'm such a fucking failure.
The worst part is that I could have. The problem is that my household is toxic, mentally and physically abusive. How can you even try to concentrate on studying when you have to worry about keeping your door locked, just so your father doesn't come in and beat you up? My school was the same fucking way. I was bullied by everyone, including my teachers who said I won't accomplish shit. Well, Ms K, you were right. I really won't. I'm done with life. Sunday is the day I finally will feel at piece, with my brain smashed on the concrete after I jump.
Everything up until this point in my life has just been pain. I tried so hard to get out of this poverty/misery loophole and do to something greater than my other racist, toxic family members but I guess it was just not meant to be.
I would have succided if I was given a fair chance. So many times I've had to resort to alcohol to numb the pain from all this abuse. I just don't want TO numb anyone. I want IT numbed forever.
I believe in reincarnation. I think I did enough in this lifetime to pay up some of my karmic debt. I hope I'm given a better headstart in my next life. I deserve to live but there's no future for me.
I'm so damn tired

2023.06.08 20:34 UponEldritchShores League of Legen- I mean Diablo 4 has an identity crisis

Diablo 2 was the last game where your weapon was actually utilized in combat. I was hoping 4 would be different, and a sidestep away from 3 and towards their older games combat approach, instead of the color bombardment spaz fest that seems to be the genre to date; playing more akin to DOTA than Diablo. I’m sure many of players will state “Its worthless and not meta” or “the other basic attacks are better”. Don’t advertise playing the class you want, how you want, when your limited in your build more than a 1st Edition D&D character. I dont want to play for the meta, and I honestly miss the tempo of the first two games, and I’m not alone in that sentiment either. World of Warcraft killed this franchise sadly and its identity, removing the elements of being a human swept up in a world falling into hell (figuratively and literally), and replacing them with you being godlings and everyone having magic powers to the point that weapons are just flashy backpack items only used for “stat boosts”.
In Diablo 1 and 2 you could play a Sorcerer with a Two-handed sword and still could beat the game, without using a single spell or ability; 3 to some extent allowed some classes to equip some weapons, but the limiting was already beginning, and 4 has been even worse than that. I tried to fight the first boss in 4 with only a basic attack, and it took me 30 minutes to beat him as a Rogue. I tried to do it again with the Necromancer, and it was impossible to do.
Now its all about loot, and safe loot at that. Hell a quest can have a cursed item, that the player can handle just fine with no ill effect, but NPCS cannot (Woodsman’s Axe ring a bell?) but there are no longer cursed magic items in the game for players to sort through or make the mistake of equiping and having to remove the curse. Wasn’t that an integral part of the first game, and some of the books that followed? You had to weigh options and gamble using something you didn’t understand. Now your barbarian can identify all things better than Deckard Cain could.
5/10 for me. It’s a game, it sometimes works (thanks online services!), but feel likes Diablo 3 skinned to look like the game players wanted From the franchise.

2023.06.08 20:29 MadMeeper Need DM advice: How would you build a dungeon for a zelda-themed campaign?

For some quick context, I'm building a Zelda themed campaign that's based around the Great Flood (the events just before Wind Waker). The narrative is pretty much all in place and I've found a pretty sick 5e homebrew that will work great for my needs.
My hangup is dungeons. I want them to feel like an actual traditional Zelda dungeon. It'd be great if I could somehow include things like, needing to find keys for doors, and having the "dungeon item" be integral for beating the dungeon and boss. The problem is I don't want to take away all the wonderful player agency that dnd is known for.
How would you guys handle it? I've seen a lot of resources for using Zelda as inspiration for your dnd dungeons, but Ive yet to find anyones take on actually building a zelda-themed experience.

2023.06.08 20:28 0hth3h0rr0r Longing

I miss you. Why? I'm not sure. Up until about a month ago, someone else was on my mind.
And whilst I'm thankful the thoughts of him have dissipated for the moment; I'm not quite sure how you managed to wriggle into that spot. Truth be told, I don't even remember what your voice sounds like. But our recent encounters just... won't leave my mind.
I'm unsure of how you feel about me. It's been a very long time, and sure things ended horribly - but you can't deny there's something between us. Even after six years, every time I see you I feel it. Perhaps it is simply the tension from your dislike, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I could not even begin to imagine what goes on in your head. But fuck, when I see you my heart skips a beat. Not out of fear anymore, far from that. You're beautiful, stunning. I wish there was a way to rope you back in, instead of admiring you from a distance.

2023.06.08 20:25 tomex365 First bugs captured/shortcomings caught during my gameplay

First bugs captured/shortcomings caught during my gameplay
1st and most important - No points gained while playing capture point mode no matter kills, point captures and defense
Seems like you're unable to beat them unless you won't die once
2nd - Music stops playing at random when dialogues are played. Comes back after speech ends. Happened to me only on Village map capture piont side-op.
3rd - This gray box should not be visible at all. It's funny how that shows that this game is not 2D actually, because when you move around, the box itself changes shape due to perspective (not to say it's bad of course).
All in its glory
And the 4th least documented - My missile stopped mid air on Cargo Plane map in campaign. Happend only once though.

Keep in mind though - This is only barely 1.5 hours of gameplay. The gameplay is still incredible, both gameplay, graphics and lore.

2023.06.08 20:24 SaladInfinite1073 The "feel" change at the end of White Blank Page

https://youtu.be/xlE3rpRkPc8?t=207
It's an incredibly smooth transition that I didn't notice for years, but on a previous listen, realized how cool of a rhythmic change this is.
For you music nerds out there: they go from a Waltz (3/4 time but felt in 1) transitioning to a straight 3/4 with each down beat being a strong beat.
So freaking cool! I always found Marcus' experience as a drummer to be such a huge advantage to the cool rhythms in their songs.

Can somebody explain this?
Hello Guys. I know you usually sell options, but I wanted to make an earnings play on GME. I thougt it would beat expectations and moon again after earnings, so I got a long call at 28$ and a short call at 33$. I also bought a Put at 20$ strike, but that's not important. After GME failed expectations I put an Market order to close my Calls as soon as market opens and then this happend. How can it be that the 33$ strike is costs more than the 28$ strike?

2023.06.08 20:24 Owlwizard82 Dming a 10 party group

So, a year ago my friends decided to get into dnd after randomly playing a random on the spot game in minecraft. We played a single session in real life afterwards, I did the Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign since i got the starter set to help me out. It was my first time Dming and everyone enjoyed their time, I don't know how I got out of there with the session being a success.
I mostly struggled trying to remeber all the details from the starter set, I kept on making stuff up which then contradicted other stuff in the campaign. It was a 6 hour session, and a friend who wasnt able to make it, said sessions dont usually last that long. Also, I knew the Lost mines was suppose to be for 3-5 so I just added 3 or 4 more enemies then usual, they easily defeated the goblin cave and beat the boss in a 10 minute fight. Another issue was too many people trying too many things at the same time.
After that first session we never played again, since trying to get 10 people all togther was a near impossible task. So it got put in a back burner, Until now.
A year later they wanted to play again, but this time more seriously
I enjoy making stories on the go so it wasnt too hard to keep up with the players actions, so I decided ill do a homebrew campaign. It revovles around demons stealing soul shards and such, and I wanted Help on how I should balance enemy encounters and what items I could give them without making them too broken. Leveing is also an issue, since I need the enemies the catch up on them. Most of what I find is usually for smaller groups. What can I do here, also any other advice on dming a large group would be helpful.

No conference titles? Navy’s bad! Kidding of course, they didn’t have a chance to win any as an independent until 2015 when they joined the AAC. As you can see on the list above, Navy’s clearly had some bad years, with a whopping 14 seasons of 3 or less wins. To make up for it, they’ve achieved some remarkable highs for a service academy, with 11 finishes inside my top 50. A 10-2 season in 2004 narrowly misses out on Navy’s top 5 seasons because of their 107th ranked strength of schedule that year. Despite some remarkable QB play in recent years from Keenan Reynolds and Malcolm Perry, the 2 consensus All-Americans are both from RB Napoleon McCallum in 1983 and 1985, who finished 6th and 7th in Heisman voting in those years, respectively. Speaking of Keenan Reynolds, he set the NCAA career record for rushing TDs in 2015, accumulating 88 in his 4 year career.

Top 5 Seasons

Worst Season: 2001 (0-10 overall, Independent)
Navy gets a pass for 2001. 2 weeks into the season, the September 15th game against Northwestern was cancelled shortly after the 9/11 attacks. The Army-Navy game was more than a game this year, with President George W. Bush taking part in the on-field coin toss. Army prevailed 26-17 on the day. Navy LB Brian Stann ribbed that Navy only got pregame visits from President Bush and Senator John McCain, while Army received an impassioned speech from General Norman Schwarzkopf. The game finished off a stressful year for Navy, who fired head coach Charlie Weatherbie after an 0-7 start. On-field lows were a 7-70 loss to Georgia Tech, a loss to 3-9 Tulane, and of course the Army-Navy Game. Navy hired Paul Johnson for 2002, who’d turn around the program for good. If you’re an MMA fan, you probably recognize Brian Stann who I quoted above. Stann went on to become a successful UFC fighter and commentator, joining Fox Sports after his retirement from MMA in 2013.
5. 2013 (9-4 overall, Independent)
A season with many highs. A 3-1 start included a 41-35 win over Indiana and 28-10 over Air Force. After losing 2 straight to strong Duke and Toledo teams, Navy went 5-1 the rest of the regular season, only losing 34-38 to a Notre Dame team that finished in the top 25. Wins included 24-21 over Pitt, 58-52 in 3OT over a San Jose State team coming off an 11-2 year, and 34-7 in the Army-Navy Game. A perfect ground game of 366 rushing yards against Middle Tennessee in the bowl led to a 24-6 win to finish 9-4 in Navy’s second to last season as an Independent. QB Keenan Reynolds (more on him later) threw for 1000+ yards with 8 TD 2 INT, but most importantly ran for 1346 yards and 31 TD, setting an NCAA record for rushing TDs in a season by a QB. Reynolds also ran for 7 TD against San Jose State, an NCAA record. Outside of Reynolds, longtime New England Patriots long snapper Joe Cardona was also on this team, and didn’t have a bad snap all season long.
4. 1996 (9-3 overall, Independent)
Even for as bad as 2001 was, Charlie Weatherbie’s teams had their moments. A 5-1 start featured 3 wins over Power 6 teams: 10-6 over Rutgers, 64-27 over Duke, and 47-18 over Wake Forest. That set up a Shamrock Classic game in Ireland between Navy and Notre Dame. A 54-27 win for Notre Dame set a record for the longest winning streak over an annual opponent at 33 games. Unfazed, Navy won 3 more straight including a nice 36-26 win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta. But even so, Weatherbie’s teams…left a lot to be desired. Navy watched their 21-3 lead over Army evaporate by the end of the game, stopped at the goal line twice for a 28-24 Army victory. To be fair, this was one of Army’s best teams of the past few decades, and they finished ranked #25. Navy rebounded to beat Steve Mariucci’s Cal team in the Aloha Bowl 42-38 to finish 9-3. Navy OC Paul Johnson left to become Georgia Southern’s head coach, and would go on to perfect the triple option at Navy from 2002-07 and institute it at Georgia Tech from 2008-18. WR LeBron Butts (no relation to the basketball player) had 14 catches for 179 yards and 2 TD.
3. 2009 (10-4 overall, Independent)
Oh look, one of my all time favorite players, QB Ricky Dobbs. Dobbs was a steady work horse all season. He only averaged 3.6 yards per carry, but had the 3rd most carries in the nation with 315 and ran for 1203 yards with an NCAA QB record 27 TD. The record wouldn’t be broken until 2013 by Navy’s own Keenan Reynolds. Dobbs led a steady offense combined with a great defense (19.4 PPG allowed), leading to Navy’s 2nd double digit win season since 1905. Navy had a chance to tie #6 Ohio State with 2 minutes left, but their 2 point conversion attempt was returned by OSU for 2 pts themselves, making the final score 27-31. A 14-27 loss two weeks later to Pitt turned out to be another quality loss, with Pitt going on to finish 10-3 and #15. A 10-4 final record included wins such as 16-13 over 8-5 Air Force, 38-35 over 8-5 SMU, 13-10 over Wake Forest, 17-3 over Army, 35-13 in the bowl over 8-5 Missouri, and the pièce de résistance, 23-21 over #19 Notre Dame in South Bend. Previously on a 43-year losing streak to the Irish heading into 2007, this was now the 2nd time in 3 years Navy had beaten Notre Dame, previously unthinkable.
2. 2019 (11-2 overall, 7-1 American)
After Keenan Reynolds left for the NFL, the QB position had big shoes to fill. Following a stopgap 9-5 record in 2016, 2017 arrived. Zach Abey took the majority of snaps, but Malcolm Perry was too talented to keep off the field, far and away the best athlete on the team. Perry had a monstrous year with 9 starts at slot back and 3 at QB, rushing for 1182 yards and 11 TD on 8.6(!) YPC, and was the team’s 2nd leading receiver with 13 catches for 303 yards and 2 TD. Perry started 5 games at QB in 2018, but dealt with injuries en route to a 3-10 season. That led to a mysterious 2019, with Navy picked 5th in the 6-team AAC West Division.
A 2-1 start showed potential, with a 42-10 win over East Carolina and close 23-35 loss to one of the conference favorites in Memphis. A 34-25 win over an Air Force team that would finish 11-2 showed Navy was back to their winning ways, with a real chance at a bowl as long as Perry stayed healthy. Navy reeled off blowout win after blowout win, eventually getting up to #23 before losing to #16 Notre Dame 20-52. Now at 7-2, Navy still had a shot at making the AAC title game. Perry showed up big against #25 SMU, rushing for 195 yards and throwing for 162 in a 35-28 win. After beating Houston 56-41, Navy just needed Memphis to drop one game, but the Tigers won out to make the AAC title game at 11-1. Navy played Army in the last game as usual, and Perry WENT NUCLEAR. He didn’t throw a single pass, rushing for 304 yards on 29 carries with 2 TD in a 31-7 win. In the bowl against 8-4 Kansas State, Perry again went for 200+ on the ground, winning 20-17 on a last second FG. Navy finished the year #20 in the country.
Perry went off all year long, winning AAC Offensive POTY with 1084 passing yards 7 TD 3 INT with 2017 rushing yards and 21 TD on 6.8 YPC. Perry legitimately was one of the quickest athletes in the country, if you watch his highlights he looks like a quicker but slower Kyler Murray. Because of this he was drafted in the 7th round by the Miami Dolphins as a WR, and has caught 9 passes for 92 yards and 1 TD in the NFL.
1. 2015 (11-2 overall, 7-1 American)
2015 was a magical year not just for Navy fans, but for college football fans following Navy. QB Keenan Reynolds was the darling of football, and went down as arguably the greatest option QB in college football history. Reynolds became one of football’s biggest stories as Navy kept winning throughout the year, starting 9-1 with wins such as 33-11 over 8-6 Air Force, 29-17 over 8-5 USF, and 45-20 over #13 Memphis. Navy got as high as #15 in the nation and was one of the favorites to earn the Group of 5’s spot in a New Years 6 bowl. After a loss to Houston the dream ended, but they still had the Army-Navy game to tend to. The game earned its biggest rating this century with a 5.1 overnight, mostly due to Reynolds’ star power. Reynolds finished 5th in Heisman voting, and when he wasn’t invited to the ceremony, people protested and lobbied for changing the invitation rules. A 44-28 win in the bowl over 8-4 Pitt capped Navy’s first ever 11 win season, and their highest finish in over 50 years at #18.
Navy announced the retirement of Reynolds’ #19 jersey after the season, joining a short list of Roger Staubach (12), Joe Bellino (27), and Napoleon McCallum (30). Navy’s 36 wins in Reynolds’ 4 years tied the class of 1909 for the most ever by a 4-year Navy squad. Reynolds finished as the NCAA’s all-time leading rushing TD leader with 88. In 2015 he threw for 1203 yards 8 TD 1 INT with 1373 rushing yards and 24 TD. This was the 3rd straight season he finished top 5 in rushing TDs in the country. He earned 3rd Team All-American status, won the AAC Offensive POTY, and won the James E. Sullivan Award given to the most outstanding collegiate or Olympic athlete in the United States. After the season, he was drafted in the 6th round by the Baltimore Ravens, the first Navy QB drafted since Roger Staubach in 1964.

5th Quarter

What do you remember about Keenan Reynolds and that 2015 season? How about Malcolm Perry? Who was the better passer, runner, and overall player between the two? Is Reynolds the greatest option QB of all time, even over Tommie Frazier? What other Navy moments/games/plays/players do you remember? How does Navy look to fare in the upcoming seasons? Does Ken Niumatalolo get enough credit in the college football media for what he’s done at Navy? What else is on your mind about Navy?

2023.06.08 20:18 Bullfrog_Original Tell me what you think and feel free to add more if you feel like

Honestly I wanna see a new story where Jin goes to the mainland and there is a massive revolution where both factions are trying to recruit Jin for their efforts. the samurai would try to convince Jin by pardoning him of his crimes and to keep bloodshed to a minimum. or the rebels as the mainland needs a new leader or else the land is doomed to fail under his rule. Once you've picked the team of your choosing the learder will give you a companion that will be there when you need him/her this is how they would put co-op into story. This does effect some difficultly as the samurai are skilled but not numerous and vice-versa the other way around. Also whichever side you chose will depend on how your treated in public. If you pick the revolution some civilians will contact the nearest samuria and samurai patrols would be out on the streets and attack you on site. If you chose samurai undercover rebels will attack you from behind while you patrol the streets. I would like to see more weapons aswell that have different moves that make a weapon harder or easier to use. Weapons that i personally would want to see are spears dual katanas and im sure im gonna get hate for this kusarigama but for a challenging experience with a super complex moveset and extremely punishing gameplay (for all the die hards looking for a challenge aka me and some others) but basically the weapon you choose is almost like setting a difficultly and an addition of traps that you can plant. Also i would like to see more from bases like if you take over a arms base your team (whichever side you choose) will go to said base where you can interact with your side and change weapons, med bases will heal you and fill your resolve and so forth so on you get the idea. I want bases to do something to have purpose for clearing them out. And at the end of the story when you beat the final boss (aka the opposites side leader) the leader tries to convince Jin to change his side as a last ditch effort. Should you change sides you would have to fight and kill the new final boss.

2023.06.08 20:14 USAcitizen124000 Trying to help my brother sober up but our mother is trying her best to fail him...

My brother fell into alcoholism to cope with our extremely horrible mother. I moved 1500 miles away from her and am happy never looking back. He, on the other hand, only lives 50 miles from her and that's too damned close. She's a parasite at that range.
So this poor guy is in his 10th hospital based detox program as of today trying his hardest to heal from all the neglect she gave to him in his childhood and he told me she just attempted to put him in a kratom pyramid scheme. I honestly want to beat her ass today. Like, I've never been this angry at her.
She called me a few days ago and told me she bought some "high quality" "nutrients" to help him "detox." I told her, for the dozenth time, she can't buy her way out of being his alcoholism trigger and to get a therapist. She's refused to get therapy for decades. She gets more out of using her "ignorance" and playing dumb and "well intentioned" as a weapon than actually being a good person. It's that whole "learned helplessness" trash that seems to plague the boomers more-so than any other group of people I've interacted with in my time on this planet.
Anyway - this kid is literally signing himself into detox today and got an email from this pyramid scheme about how "today is the day" and he's "getting a call at 3PM" to talk about "this extraordinary opportunity" about these "nutrients." All because she signed him up for it against his consent. And then the final run here is this cunt is on state funded housing and state funded everything. She's on a fixed income and is spending, according to him, $1000 on a kratom pyramid scheme to "help him out".
The woman is white trash. I'm so fucking mad right now.

2023.06.08 20:13 No_Fig_3557 Just failed all my courses; very depressed.

OK, I am going to vent for several events that were entirely out of my control. Period.
So basically i have been forced into FLVS due to my severe autism. I get bullied everyday at regular school. I have a certified IQ of 157 as documented by MENSA. I am ridiculously smart.
So I am currently in 9th grade even though by now I should be finishing up 10th grade. In Spring of 2021 I began my courses. These courses are extremely difficult and the tests don't match on the exams.......
So basically I am currently only about 70% done with segment 2 of my courses (seg 1 carried over from regular school), which I should have finished over a year ago. I requested to extend these courses to this summer after they got extended for last summer and all of last year. These courses are very difficult. I do not want haters in the comments only support. I got pulled out of all of my classes and lost a year's worth of work. I am honestly depressed. I will have to start over on all the courses due to the fact I had a 30% grade in most. My parents came home screaming at me after talking to my counselor. They beat me with a whip. I have many hit marks all over my body. I am contemplating running away, but then how will I catch up???
So basically, I should be a rising junior, but going into the fall, I am a rising freshman :((((( "fresh meat". I cannot go back to regular school do to the fact I am 2 years older than the other kids and would be bullied relentlessly. I am also very small for my age so I could not defend myself. I freeze talking to people and barely complete DBAs. I'm 16 so I could drop out and become a youtuber or onlyfans creator....
so reddit what do you think i should do??????
