2023.06.08 21:28 ThePekis How long does it take?
So I'm 15 years old, I'm 6'0 and I'm skinny. I made some meal plan for myself (my average calorie intake was 1900, and this meal plan has 3000 calorie intake)
Breakfast: - 2 boiled or fried eggs - 2 slices of white bread with avocado or peanut butter - 1 cup of Greek yogurt with fruit and nuts - 1 cup of oatmeal with milk and additions like dried fruits or honey
Snack: - 1 piece of fruit (banana, apple, pear) - 1 handful of nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews)
Lunch: - 150-200g of meat (chicken, turkey, beef, fish) or meat substitute (tofu, seitan) - 1 cup of white rice or pasta - 1 cup of steamed or lightly sautéed vegetables - Add desired fat source for additional calories
Snack: - Smoothie with milk, banana, berries, peanut butter, and protein powder - Sandwich with meat, cheese, greens
Dinner: - 150-200g of meat (chicken, turkey, beef, fish) or meat substitute (tofu, seitan) - 1 cup of boiled potatoes - 1 cup of steamed or lightly sautéed vegetables - Salad with desired dressing for additional calories
Evening Snack: - 1 cup of Greek yogurt with honey and nuts - 1 handful of dried fruits (prunes, apricots, dates)
I created some homemade weights and I started lifting. I'm planning on working as hard as I can. How long before I actually see the changes?

2023.06.08 20:58 kavyaorganicfarm 9 Best Health Benefits of Consuming Walnuts
| https://preview.redd.it/n85adwr5bu4b1.jpg?width=1014&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=66c88686910b6cf49110a7bf1e0da6e8669ffb31 Walnuts are not only delicious but also packed with numerous health benefits. Here are nine of the best health benefits of consuming walnuts: - Heart health: Walnuts are rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is an omega-3 fatty acid. These fats help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
- Brain health: The omega-3 fatty acids found in walnuts, especially ALA, are beneficial for brain health. They support cognitive function, memory, and may help reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia.
- Anti-inflammatory properties: Walnuts contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that help reduce inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation is linked to various health conditions, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
- Weight management: Despite being calorie-dense, walnuts can be beneficial for weight management. The combination of protein, fiber, and healthy fats in walnuts helps keep you full for longer, reducing cravings and overeating.
- Cancer-fighting properties: Walnuts contain several bioactive compounds, including antioxidants and polyphenols, which have been associated with a reduced risk of certain types of cancer, such as breast and prostate cancer.
- Blood sugar control: Walnuts have a low glycemic index and are rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats. These properties contribute to improved blood sugar control, making them a suitable choice for individuals with diabetes or those at risk of developing it.
- Improved gut health: Walnuts are a good source of dietary fiber, which supports a healthy digestive system and promotes regular bowel movements. Additionally, walnuts contain prebiotic properties that nourish beneficial gut bacteria.
- Bone health: Walnuts are a natural source of several minerals important for bone health, including calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Consuming walnuts as part of a balanced diet may contribute to maintaining strong and healthy bones.
- Skin health: The vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants found in walnuts can promote healthy skin. They help protect against oxidative stress, reduce inflammation, and support collagen production, which contributes to skin elasticity and a youthful appearance.
Remember that while walnuts offer numerous health benefits, they are also calorie-dense. It's important to consume them in moderation as part of a well-balanced diet. - What are 5 benefits of eating walnuts?
Certainly! Here are five key benefits of eating walnuts: - Heart health: Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown to improve heart health. The healthy fats found in walnuts help reduce LDL cholesterol levels and decrease the risk of heart disease.
- Brain function: The omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants in walnuts are beneficial for brain health. They can improve cognitive function, memory, and concentration. Regular consumption of walnuts may also help reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases.
- Weight management: Despite being calorie-dense, walnuts can aid in weight management. The combination of protein, fiber, and healthy fats in walnuts helps you feel fuller for longer, reducing overeating and cravings.
- Antioxidant properties: Walnuts are packed with antioxidants that help protect the body against harmful free radicals. These antioxidants can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, which are associated with chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
- Nutrient-rich: Walnuts are a nutrient-dense food, providing a wide range of essential vitamins and minerals. They are particularly high in vitamin E, magnesium, and copper. These nutrients play crucial roles in supporting overall health, including immune function and bone health.
Incorporating walnuts into your diet can provide these benefits, but it's important to consume them in moderation, as they are calorie-dense. A recommended serving size is about 1 ounce (28 grams) per day, which is equivalent to approximately 7 whole walnuts. - What happens if we eat walnuts daily?
Eating walnuts daily can have several positive effects on your health. Here are some potential outcomes of incorporating walnuts into your daily diet: - Improved heart health: The healthy fats, including omega-3 fatty acids, in walnuts can help lower LDL cholesterol levels, reduce inflammation, and improve overall heart health. Regular consumption of walnuts has been associated with a reduced risk of heart disease.
- Enhanced brain function: The omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants found in walnuts are beneficial for brain health. They can support cognitive function, memory, and concentration. Eating walnuts daily may help protect against neurodegenerative diseases and age-related cognitive decline.
- Weight management: Despite being calorie-dense, walnuts can be beneficial for weight management when eaten in moderation. The combination of protein, fiber, and healthy fats in walnuts helps promote satiety, reducing the likelihood of overeating and aiding in weight control.
- Antioxidant protection: Walnuts are rich in antioxidants, such as polyphenols and vitamin E, which help protect the body against oxidative stress and inflammation. Regular consumption of walnuts may contribute to overall antioxidant protection and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
- Nutrient intake: Walnuts are a nutrient-dense food, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds. They are particularly rich in vitamin E, magnesium, copper, and other nutrients. Including walnuts in your daily diet can help ensure you receive a variety of important nutrients.
However, it's essential to remember that walnuts are also high in calories. While they offer numerous health benefits, it's important to consume them in moderation and consider their caloric content as part of your overall daily calorie intake. A recommended serving size is about 1 ounce (28 grams) per day, which is roughly equivalent to 7 whole walnuts. - How many walnuts should you eat in a day?
The recommended serving size for walnuts is about 1 ounce, which is equivalent to approximately 28 grams or 7 whole walnuts. This serving size is considered appropriate for reaping the health benefits of walnuts without consuming excessive calories. However, it's important to note that individual dietary needs may vary. If you have specific health conditions or dietary restrictions, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian who can provide personalized guidance based on your unique circumstances. Additionally, while walnuts are nutritious, they are calorie-dense. Consuming large quantities of walnuts can lead to an excessive calorie intake, which may impact weight management. Moderation is key when incorporating walnuts or any food into your daily diet. - What happens if we eat 10 walnuts daily?
Eating 10 walnuts daily can still be within a reasonable range, but it's important to consider the calorie content and overall dietary balance. Here are some potential effects: - Nutrient intake: Eating 10 walnuts provides a good amount of beneficial nutrients, including healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Walnuts are particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, magnesium, and copper. Consuming this amount can contribute to meeting your nutrient needs.
- Heart health: Walnuts are known for their heart-healthy properties due to their high content of omega-3 fatty acids. Consuming 10 walnuts daily can further support heart health by helping to lower LDL cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
- Caloric intake: It's important to be mindful of the calorie content of walnuts. Ten walnuts can provide approximately 185-200 calories, depending on their size. While walnuts are nutrient-dense, excessive calorie intake from any food source can contribute to weight gain if it exceeds your overall daily calorie needs.
- Weight management: Eating 10 walnuts daily, along with a balanced diet and regular physical activity, is unlikely to cause weight gain on its own. However, if the additional calories from walnuts are not offset by reducing calories from other sources or increasing physical activity, it could contribute to a caloric surplus and potentially impact weight management.
Remember, everyone's nutritional needs and calorie requirements differ based on factors such as age, sex, activity level, and overall health. It's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian who can provide personalized recommendations based on your specific needs and goals. - Which time is best to eat walnut?
There isn't a specific time of day that is universally considered the best to eat walnuts. You can include walnuts in your diet at any time that suits your preference and fits well within your overall meal plan. Here are a few suggestions: - As a snack: Walnuts can be a nutritious and satisfying snack option. You can have them as a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack to keep your energy levels stable and stave off hunger.
- With breakfast: Adding walnuts to your breakfast can provide a boost of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. Consider sprinkling chopped walnuts on top of oatmeal, yogurt, or adding them to your smoothie or cereal.
- In salads: Walnuts can add a delightful crunch and nutty flavor to salads. Toss them into your salad for added texture and nutrition.
- In baking or cooking: Walnuts can be incorporated into various recipes, such as baked goods, granola bars, or as a topping for roasted vegetables. They can enhance the taste and nutritional profile of your meals.
Ultimately, the best time to eat walnuts is when it aligns with your personal preferences and dietary habits. Just remember to consume them in moderation, as they are calorie-dense. Aim for the recommended serving size of about 1 ounce (28 grams) or adjust the quantity based on your specific dietary needs and goals. - Who should not eat walnuts?
While walnuts are generally considered safe and nutritious for most people, there are a few situations in which certain individuals may need to exercise caution or avoid consuming walnuts: - Nut allergies: Walnuts are a common allergen. If you have a known allergy to tree nuts, including walnuts, it is essential to avoid them completely to prevent allergic reactions. Nut allergies can range from mild to severe, and even small amounts can trigger an allergic response.
- Gallbladder issues: Some individuals with gallbladder problems, such as gallstones or gallbladder disease, may experience discomfort or digestive symptoms after consuming high-fat foods, including walnuts. If you have such conditions, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized guidance.
- Digestive issues: Walnuts, like other nuts, can be hard to digest for some individuals, particularly those with digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In these cases, consuming walnuts might lead to gastrointestinal discomfort, including bloating, gas, or abdominal pain. It's best to listen to your body and adjust your intake accordingly.
- Medication interactions: Some medications, such as blood thinners, may interact with the omega-3 fatty acids in walnuts. If you are taking any medications or have concerns about potential interactions, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider for guidance.
As always, if you have specific health concerns or dietary restrictions, it is advisable to seek personalized advice from a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to determine whether walnuts are suitable for your individual circumstances. submitted by kavyaorganicfarm to u/kavyaorganicfarm [link] [comments] |
2023.06.08 20:47 tinkers14 Experiences taking only Phentermine alone (not topiramate, etc) and tips
Would love to learn about your experiences on Phentermine alone. How much weight lost, how long, what dose? When the losses slowed or you plateaued? How did you remedy being stalled? Any healthy tips for continuing the losses and for sustaining it healthily?
I take it on empty stomach and wait a min 1 hour to consume anything but water. Trying to be careful of too much acid foods too close to pill and overall. Been eating clean and healthy, 1000-1250 cals (first 3 weeks), low-moderate good carbs, healthy fats and upped protein to 80-100g and increased fiber. Watching unhealthy sat. fats and salt, no sugar or junk like candy, granola bars, soda, chips, and mostly fresh foods. Working out 3-4x p/week w/weights and 30+ mins cardio, plus small activities other days. 80-100oz water. B12 supplement and multivitamin. Daily Sun Warrior protein shake that includes l-tyrosine. At the 3 weeks mark, I upped cals to 1400-1500, and little more carbs, thinking maybe I’m not eating enough, apx 1500 would be right for bmr. But still I’m stalled. Lots of effort and very little payoff. Barely 1 pound lost in last 3 weeks. Yet, I lost over 6 pounds at the end of the 1st week - however, I was also on Topiramate that first week, and a couple days later I had to stop it. I’m guessing that loss was the ‘start shock’ to the body in conjunction with Top.?? Cuz hardly anything since. NOT expecting to lose 30 pounds in a month, but I’m clearly stalled after just the first week and don’t know why.
Took half pill first 3 weeks and have been on 3/4 pill after 3 week mark. I’m a little sensitive ;) Still nothing and tomorrow reaches 4 week mark. I still feel some app suppression during day, but I get hungry around evening and feel snacky late night, even tho I’m making myself eat small breakfast and moderate lunch with a couple snacks, such as half ounce of raw unsalted almonds. I weigh and log every tiny thing. A week or so ago I began taking it 9:30-10:30am instead of 8:00, and I tried to do 1/2 in morning and 1/4 in afternoon one day, but these things don’t seem to help at night still.
So, I use will power at night or have a few berries or nuts, or just recently 2 cups of olive oil only popcorn. I finally had hope after years of trying to lose on my own, but it’s fading. Any lab work has been addressed, such as low iron and Dhea, which I’ve had since my 20’s, at least. I’m 40’s female. Any ideas?

2023.06.08 19:49 Embarrassed-Bass-853 Weight issues
Hello all,
I’m currently 38. When I was in my early 20s I really ballooned. I genuinely had no concept that what I ate would lead to weight gain - no real appreciation of nutrition. At my heaviest I was just over 14 stone and am 5 foot 7.5 in height.
When I was 25, my father in law died very suddenly which scared me into losing weight. I did this by walking 25 mins every day, a little bit of running and by being incredibly strict about what I ate. I would aim for no more thab 1200 calories a day.
I also started weighing myself many times a day. It developed to the point where I would be desperate for a bowel movement in order to see the scales go down, I would be afraid of drinking anything before 12pm in case it affected my daily weigh in at 12.30pm. I was constantly tired and hungry. I would be afraid of work gathering where lunch was provided as I couldn’t control what I ate.
A typical daily eating regime would be porridge (oatmeal) and fruit for breakfast, eggs on toast for lunch and tuna salad with a baked potato for tea. My wife was insistent that I wasn’t eating enough, however I convinced myself that I looked good and thin (she says I was gaunt.)
I would also treat myself to a big feast on my Friday day off (normally domino’s pizza in the evening) which I would then need to be strict over to get rid of all that I had eaten.
This continued til about 2021. I remember going out with my wife for lunch and having a huge stress moment about what I was going to eat. At that moment I realised I needed help and sort out a nutritionist.
Since July 2021 then, I haven’t used my scales once and have tried to eat more normally.
HOWSVER: the cost of this is that I have put weight on. My wife insists I look good but all I can see is fat. As I type this I am sitttinf here looking at my stomach going over my waist band - at my thinnest it was flat. For what it’s worth, all my clothes still fit and I haven’t had to buy any bigger.
The problem is I feel I have lost the discipline I once enjoyed: I was so strict with what I ate, when I ate and with exercise, but I feel that the cost of eating more normally means I have lost that discipline.
I am terrified of putting any more weight on. I am about to go out with some friends for a curry as a leaving do and all I can think about is how I look, what I will eat etc. I think about my weight each and every day.
Nothing really that can be said but just needed to share how crippling it is.

2023.06.08 19:06 hjak3876 vegans who do IMF? let me know your progress!
Hi all! I'm a vegan who has been doing 16:8 IMF for just a few weeks now, with weight loss as my primary goal - though I am already enjoying the other benefits of fasting, too! I've noticed that a lot of the IMF community is also into low-carb diets with lots of animal protein, which has been a little discouraging to encounter as I consider my possibilities for progress, since a low-carb high protein approach can be challenging on a vegan diet. (Btw, I'm not asking for dietary advice here, nor am I considering ditching veganism - it's non-negotiable for me).
So, I thought I'd reach out and see who here is a) vegan or plant-based and b) has seen weight loss (especially fat loss) results using any form of IMF.
Please sound off in the comments!

2023.06.08 18:53 JaneDeronda For the first time in my life I'm getting better thanks to Keto
Okay, I've been around Reddit for a decade. Finally joined 7 years ago- have so much anxiety about posting that I only have 70 karma. I'd promise I'm not a troll, but isn't that what trolls do? Anxiety be damned the results I'm seeing from keto are so life changing that I feel compelled to post if it helps another person in my position. (This is not medical advice, I'm not a doctor, common sense rules and of course you should be in charge of your medical care and work with your medical team.)
I'm a 39 year old mom of 4- 2 of my children have special needs. I have narcolepsy, EDS, POTS, IBS, Lipedema, MCAS, and a slew of other autoimmune issues. My energy is so low- my cortisol sky high, I was getting insulin resistent. After trying traditional meds to "fix" problems and not having success, but having more health problems develop I turned to more natural methods over the years. I have a lot of supplements, tried all organic, plant based, AIP, so many different diets. My BMR was so low. I was eating 1100 calories a day and gaining weight- I got up to 205 lbs on a 5'6" frame. I still go to my primary care doctor who has been supportive of more natural remedies. I haven't bridged the keto subject with him, but I think the results will speak for themselves.
With all the reading I did on my health problems there were signs pointing to keto. They didn't come from mainstream medicine, but keto kept coming up. I tried once about 5 years ago, but didn't make it through the "keto flu" period. I couldn't function and had too many demands on my time to keep up with my kids/work etc... This time before trying I found the group here and did a lot of reading. I learned that "keto flu" is an electrolyte imbalance. Due to POTS I have tons of electrolyte options and salt tablets on hand. Reading so many experiences and tips from real people gave me the motivation to try again.
I bought the "pee sticks" even though I know they're not the end all be all, they let me know my body was doing something besides feeling worse. After a few days I learned to manage my electrolytes better. Now I can address it before it gets bad.
In the 7 weeks that I've been in ketosis I've lost nearly 20 lbs. That is a huge win for me. I know a lot of it was water weight because I'd always go up and down the same 6-8 lbs. every couple of days. It's staying off now, and I can see the swelling, inflammation, and now fat starting to melt away. As a vain person that is a huge win, but the increases in my health are the real story.
After the first couple of weeks I have been able to go through most days without laying down to rest. I haven't thrown up once from chronic pain. The pain levels are down 40%. I'm hoping to see an improvement in sleep soon. The brain fog is lighter. I'm still not a "normal healthy" person, but I can't expect to undo nearly 4 decades in a few weeks.
Possible TMI, but for the first time in a decade I haven't been dealing with IBS issues. Having regular solid stools is something I never expected. There have been a couple of days where I've eaten something that's thrown me back into it- now I'm learning things to avoid, as opposed to that being my norm.
It is amazing to not be hungry all of the time. My sleep doctor told me that due to narcolepsy, and because the part of the brain that craves sleep and the part that craves food are so close together, it's normal to constantly feel hungry with my disorder. It was somewhat true- I'd feel hungry, but also nauseated most of the time, and a lot of the time I felt worse after eating. Now eating is in the background. There is no panic feeling about finding something to eat and hoping it doesn't make me feel worse.
I'm probably still doing "dirty keto." I haven't tracked everything and am using allulose, and monkfruit sweetener in things I bake. I still have a hard time eating a lot of meat, but for now nuts, cheese, and when I feel like eating meat, are doing a great job providing satiation. I'll often have a homemade creme brulée for breakfast- with berries for the topping. So it's heavy cream, egg yolk, a little allulose, and the berries. I eat until I'm full- sometimes it's just a few bites, sometimes all of it. I make almond floupeanut buttedutch pressed cocoa powder cookies, and almond flour cheese crackers for a quick snack. Lunch is often a salad with cheese, and a full fat dressing. I add meat in if it sounds good. It's amazing how little sweetener it takes for things to taste "sweet" now. I aim for 20-25 net carbs a day. Most days I'm not hungry for dinner. If I am I eat something that fits. I pretty much grain free at this point, but it wasn't even a goal when I started. I can tell if something I eat makes me feel yucky now, and it's easy to avoid it without feeling like I'm depriving myself.
If/when I plateau or feel poorly I'll track and adapt. The beautiful thing is that I feel my energy and mental clarity getting to place where I'm capable of doing that.
Food is beyond secondary to living now. When I feel hunger- real hunger I'll eat something. There is no need to clean my plate, my body tells me when it is full.
I thought I'd never feel well again. I have hope now. I also am excited to see the changes that this diet can have for my kids. The brain and body need fat and protein.
I was so scared of eating fat. I always thought, "I am fat, I can't eat fat! Everyone says how bad fat is!" Don't let the fear hold you back. I know it is so hard to look at changing your diet when you have no energy and constant brain fog- you don't have to make it too complicated. You deserve to feel better.
Thank you so much to everyone in this group who has taken time to share, and help others like me get their life back.

2023.06.08 17:39 kamikazi- Inspired by a redditor on this sub, here's my one decade difference. 56-->78ish
| Something worth mentioning here is when I was younger, in the left photo, I knew and recognised that I was very skinny and I hated it. The hardest part was shopping for clothes. I used to go to the malls and see those awesome shirts on the mannequins, yet as soon as I put them on myself they looked so loose and funny. One day I decided that I wanna increase my weight no matter what and I remember I went to the supermarket and bought lots of white bread, chocolate, and chips and started eating like crazy. One week later I thought to myself that I'm already at point zero and I wanna boost my weight, so why shouldn't I top up some muscles rather than fats smh :/ the next day I went to a nearby gym but got extremely disappointed because the subscription was much more than I could afford, I went back home and turned on my potatoe pc, searched for no-equipment exercise on YT and started doing them everyday, 6 months later I was finally able to start my gym membership, and that's when my addiction started! submitted by kamikazi- to GymMotivation [link] [comments] |
2023.06.08 17:27 ZombieTheRogue I have no idea how to eat
I've been hitting the gym for about 2 months now. I've lost quite a lot of weight...i see it pretty clearly. The thing is is I have no idea how many calories to eat even still.
In all honesty I thought working out would give me tons of energy but I fins that I'm just fatigued constantly even though I only go to the gym 3days a week. Sluggish. Heavy. Even though I'm losing fat, and have newbie gains in some muscles, I feel tired.
This is because I have no idea how to eat. Every calorie calculator gives me a different answer, and I'm not about to start following a random websites calculator and find that it's too much and i start gaining fat again. My calories are around 2000-2300 a day right now because that is the lowest result I got back from a calculator.
I am 6'3" and roughly 230 lbs.
There's also so much conflicting information out there about what diet to have. Currently I do low carb. High fat and protein with the only carbs I have coming from vegetables and hummus. Some people do high carb. Intermittent fasting. Bodybuilders have whole bowls of pasta and remain shredded. So I really don't have any idea what I'm doing or how many calories I need. I'm losing fat but somethings wrong. I shouldn't be sluggish and fatigued all the time right? I have rest days between gym sessions.
Anyways I'm looking for guidance specifically on how to find the appropriate calories for someone my size and what type of diet to use.
I absolutely love cardio and every time I go to the gym I do 40 minutes of intense treadmill running after my weight lifting.

2023.06.08 17:18 Marilena_95 How to Meet Macros While OMAD
Hello All! Just came across this sub today and thought it would be the best place to ask my questions rather than one of the general weight loss subs.
To provide a little background/info on me, I am 28F, 5'4", SW:415lbs CW:350lbs GW:150(ish)lbs. I unintentionally started OMAD around November 2022 and since the weight has continued to be shed and its just easy and works for my lifestyle, I have stuck with it.
I have not cared about nor been keeping track of my macros in any way, I have just been kind of eating whatever once a day and been happy with my weight loss. Just yesterday I decided to look up what I should be eating as far as protein, carbs, fat, etc. goes and I was surprised to realize, after taking a look at what I generally eat, that I am getting nowhere near what I should, most especially in protein. Here is where my question comes in: what is the best way to meet macros and keep low calorie while eating OMAD? I generally eat a salad or a sandwich for my meal, and it just seems like I need to eat so much more food to meet my recommended macros, which has me a bit wary because I don't want to slow the pace of my weight loss. Is it protein shakes, high protein low cal foods, something else I don't know about?
Any info or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

2023.06.08 16:59 cjlzers Help Explaining InBody Assessment
| Hi! Can anyone help me make sense of this InBody assessment? My main takeaway was that I have a good amount of muscle mass and don’t need to gain or lose any (unless it’s my goal to gain) but I also have 2.2 pounds of body fat mass to lose. The rest of the numbers and charts I’m completely lost on 😅. Also, any tips on how to lose those last 2.2 pounds? I know as petite girlies it’s always so hard to drop the last couple. Not sure if this information is necessary but I’m 5,2”, 23F, work a sedentary office job, usually swim 3x a week and run 2-3 miles followed by pilates 3x a week, and I try not to count calories because I used to have an ED but I’m mindful of what I’m eating and usually stay around 1500 per day. Anything helps, thanks in advanced! :) submitted by cjlzers to PetiteFitness [link] [comments] |
2023.06.08 16:55 snapsigma Progenifix Reviews – Unlocking the Power of Natural Nutrients for Effective Weight Loss
Are you tired of struggling with excess weight and searching for a solution that actually works? Look no further!
Progenifix, an everyday dietary supplement formulated by Tom Goodman, might be the answer you've been seeking. With its unique blend of nine potent mushroom varieties, Progenifix aims to accelerate fat loss and help you achieve your weight loss goals. In this comprehensive review, we'll dive deep into the benefits, ingredients, and potential side effects of Progenifix so that you can make an informed decision.
What is Progenifix and How Does It Work?
Progenifix is a scientifically-proven blend of natural nutrients designed to support weight loss. It's an easy-to-use supplement that requires just a 10-second daily ritual, making it convenient for anyone seeking to shed extra fat mass. The ingredients used in Progenifix have a long history of traditional use and have undergone rigorous scientific testing.
Taking two Progenifix pills stimulates biochemical reactions in your body that will effectively torch stubborn weight. Unlike other weight loss methods that often demand intense workouts or extreme dieting, Progenifix offers a more accessible approach. You can expect significant fat loss without sacrificing energy levels or enduring specific dietary restrictions.
Progenifix is available exclusively on the
official website and can be used by both males and females, regardless of their weight or current health status. According to Tom Goodman, the creator of Progenifix, the supplement has already undergone clinical trials, although the official results are yet to be published. However, Tom reports that out of over 1000 participants, an impressive 97% experienced a loss of over 48 lbs. of stubborn fat within three months.
Unlocking the Secrets of Progenifix's Fat Loss Support
Progenifix harnesses the power of a synergistic combination of natural and science-backed nutrients to maximize weight loss. While its primary goal is to help you shed those unwanted pounds, Progenifix also offers several secondary benefits, such as
increased energy levels, healthy aging, longevity, and overall well-being.
So how does Progenifix work its magic? Targeting and unblocking key factors inhibiting weight loss provides a comprehensive solution to quickly achieving your fitness goals. Here are the primary mechanisms through which Progenifix supports fat loss:
1. Accelerating Body Metabolism Excess white fat mass often leads to suboptimal basal metabolic rates, resulting in low energy levels and chronic fatigue, especially for individuals who are overweight.
Slow fat oxidation further exacerbates this issue, hampering weight loss efforts. Progenifix contains nine powerful ingredients that release the metabolic brakes, allowing you to shed more weight even at rest.
2. Blocking Fat Storage One common obstacle in weight loss journeys is storing excess fat after meals. Progenifix addresses this issue by providing nutrients that hinder fat storage, forcing your body to oxidize excess glucose and store fat instead. Additionally, it helps suppress appetite, promoting reduced calorie intake and
increased fat metabolism.
Progenifix specifically targets Primal Stress Syndrome, which slows down metabolic rates due to high stress and anxiety levels. By alleviating stress, it becomes easier for your body to release stubborn fat and achieve weight loss goals.
Moreover, certain ingredients found in Progenifix can improve cellular health, leading to increased metabolic rates. The mushroom blend also fortifies your immune system, reduces unhealthy inflammations, and creates an optimal weight-loss environment.
Features and Benefits of Progenifix Dietary Supplement
While Progenifix is primarily advertised as a weight loss supplement, its benefits extend beyond just shedding excess fat. Here are some additional advantages you can expect from using Progenifix:
1. Boosted Energy Levels Progenifix provides a
natural energy boost, helping you stay active and focused throughout the day. No more relying on stimulants or caffeine to combat fatigue.
2. Enhanced Mental Clarity Progenifix can improve mental clarity, concentration, and overall cognitive performance by supporting your brain function.
3. Improved Sleep Quality A good night's sleep is crucial for weight loss and overall well-being. Progenifix can promote better sleep quality, ensuring you wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the day.
4. Enhanced Skin and Joint Health The natural nutrients in Progenifix contribute to healthier skin and joints, promoting a youthful appearance and supporting optimal mobility.
5. Slowed Aging Process Progenifix contains ingredients that can slow aging, helping you maintain a youthful look and feel.
6. Restored Libido and Sexual Health Many users report improved libido and overall sexual health after using Progenifix, enhancing their intimate relationships.
How to Use Progenifix Supplement
To experience the full benefits of Progenifix, recommend taking two capsules daily with a glass of water. Each bottle contains 60 capsules, which will last you one month. For optimal results, continue using Progenifix for a minimum of 90-180 days.

2023.06.08 16:50 Illustrious-Print802 Appearance impermanence? I think I look pretty/ugly every other hour, every other day. Same with fit/fat.
Is this disorganized inner critic a C-PTSD thing?
I can wake up feeling extremely ugly and down on myself, then feeling good after putting on some make-up and decent clothes. Then looking in a mirror a few hours later and only seeing flaws, feeling ugly again. Same with my weight. The last 6 years I have been normal weight according to BMI, but flucutated from the very low end to the very high end of the scale. No matter what I weigh I can feel fit one day and fat the next. Or fit for a few hours and then fat again, depending on situations.
Is this a kind of appearance impermanence? If that’s even a thing? Like it’s almost as if I can be happy out and about talking to people, feeling confident and all that, then suddenly walk past a mirror or feel super ugly in certain situations, as If I ”forgot“ how I look like or that I felt pretty just a few minutes ago. Then I try hard not to let it affect my mood.
Background: Grew up with a narsissistic parent who did negatively comment on my looks/body. Have also dated someone who indirectly commented that I should gain after cutting weight for a competition. This triggered me a lot. (I felt fit and very comfortable in my body at this point).
Disclaimer: Have struggled with eating disorders for 6+ years after losing 20 kg (was overweight). I have fluctuated 10-15 kg up and down after this. Never weight stable. Have had a BMI anywhere between 18.5-28 over the last 10 years.
- Was just wondering as this is in relation to other things as well, such as my face, if this is an inner critic thing I need to work on? Or something else? It’s so disorganized.

2023.06.08 16:20 Active_Ad7728 I want to share this recipe here that helped me and I want it to help others! Let me get it off my chest
Do you like cheesecake? If yes then keep reading and if no then admit you are wrong.
Weight loss doesn’t have to suck. You can have ice cream and you can have cheesecake. How?? Let me tell you!!!!
All you need is a food processor or good blender, an entire tub of low fat cottage cheese, vanilla extract, honey, and fresh strawberries.
1.) Put the cottage cheese in the food processor with six strawberries and a generous amount of honey. Add in a capful of real vanilla extract! (Don’t use imitation)
2.) Blend until fully smooth and fully combined. Should be a nice mild pastel pink color.
3.) Transfer to container and freeze for a few hours. Gets the consistency of ice cream and taste just like strawberry cheesecake. Crush up a serving of graham crackers after and mix it in and end enjoy!! If it gets icy let thaw and it will go back to ice cream texture.
If you think this is gross cause of cottage cheese let me tell you something… don’t knock it till you try it okay.
Have a good day to everyone except those who who dislike cheesecake.

2023.06.08 15:30 kyoun1e1 My Lexapro Journey To Date -- 19 Weeks complete
Week 20, Day 1 - June 8th
Can't believe I haven't posted here in weeks. Reason: Clearly a sign Lexapro is working.
For those that want to see more detail on this journey, I created a log here:
https://www.reddit.com/lexapro/comments/10nq48j/my_lexapro_journey/ I've just completed my 19th week on Lexapro. Since mid April, I've been on two family vacations with success and celebrated both my 55th birthday and my 25th anniversary with my wife. I've enjoyed the time thoroughly. A few months ago, I could never imagine this. Thought I was jailed for life with anxiety/insomnia/depression that would not allow me to enjoy life at all. I actually remember breaking down pre Lexapro and crying out loud to my wife, "I don't know what and how to enjoy anything anymore!"
Lexapro has changed my life.
I've settled in to a new normal. A normal that has me more balanced, calm, and rational and less prone to taking things to an extreme where my emotions get the best of me. Most importantly, this has translated directly to restful sleep every night where as prior to Lexapro I'd go sleepless for days because of GAD. I'm without a doubt a better me, and more of the old me (which is probably at least three years ago before anxiety spiraled out of control).
And the old me is still there. I've always been known for a short temper, but over the last few years that fuse got very short. Anger and irritability were quick to come. That part of me is still there and emerges every now and then, but it's more controlled and shorter in duration. I also don't ruminate on everything anymore. To some degree, I'm happy that "explosive" part of me is still there. That "fire" in me has long been what's best about me (to drive me to achieve goals) and of course, what's worst about me (being an asshole). I'm not a zombie without emotion. Good.
A few other comments/observations after 19 weeks on 10 MG:
- Libido: Inching back. Was on vacation in Siesta Key, FL last week and I definitely had more motivation to have sex. Think the ability to orgasm is every so slowly coming around. Then again, maybe it was the rum.
- Alcohol: Still don't see any difference in consumption pre vs post Lexapro. No difference. I still enjoy it, but probably drink a little less. I've told my wife it doesn't seem to have the same impact it used to.
- Weed: I think I may give this another go. Prior to Lexapro, weed just had my intrusive thoughts spin harder. Now, maybe this is more enjoyable.
- I still hate Monday - Wednesday. The worst of my work week, but the lows that I feel now are far from the lows I experienced prior to Lexapro. At this point, I feel capable to possibly explore other job opportunities, go on interviews, etc.
- Relationships: So much more engaged with my wife and daughter. I'm also a better listener. My god...prior to Lexapro I thought there was at least a flip of the coin's chance I'd lose them both and end up alone (because I thought I deserved it).
- Dizzy: Definitely still feel dizzy here and there. I also find that I stub my toe more than I used to.
- Weight Gain: Nope. I don't get these comments. Despite being on vacation twice and consuming ungodly amounts of food and alcoholic beverage my weight remains solid. I also engaged in a rigorous training program for ten weeks prior to these trips and lost at least a pound of fat per week. I believe in the laws of thermodynamics.
Summer is now here in New England and I'm looking forward to enjoying it. Starting with my daughter's prom tmrw night.

2023.06.08 14:55 Romqun Body fat percentage scale
So I’ve been working out for a little now and gained weight both muscle and fat. Today I took a scan at my gym (sends electricity through heels and thumbs to measure) and came out at 22,1/23,3 (did it twice) if I picked male, but 16,8 if I picked female.
So which should I go with? I’ve been on T for maybe 3/4 years now I think. (T gel)
Anyway I was wondering if the normal changes after you go in T and if so which % you should lie within because right now I’m too low for female and too high for male standards..

Hi everyone, I hope this won't be detected as an OT but I thinks this is the only place where I can get a solution. I own a SkyWatcher 130/900 and the RA Motor Drive and I was wondering if someone could first of all help me to understand if there's a way to put the right speed for the motor, because I get confused everytime since the image that I see is flipped and I can't understand if the speed is to high or too low.. Second of all I know it's a cheap one, but Is the only telescope that was affordable for me.. So I was wondering if there are accessories that I could buy to improve it, like the finder (that is really terrible, because it moves everytime, I was looking for something like a red dot), lens and other things that maybe I don't know.. I was wondering too if I need extra counter weight for when I put my camera on it (Just for planetary), or If the actual weight is enough.. Thanks!
