2023.06.10 21:07 Righteousmilk 30 [M4F] - UK / online anywhere. Would be great to have a voice chat with some like minded. I find messages lack a lot of character. Read post if you wanna know more.

I’m Chris, I’m 30 from the UK, I’m currently dog sitting and enjoying the weather. I’ve gotta say though it’s a bit lonely. I’d like to think I can get on with anyone. About me, I work in cyber security. It’s mega intense but I love it. I spend a lot of time travelling and so starting, let alone maintaining a relationship can be difficult. I’m a massive music head, I’m listening to Billy Joel atm while I watch over the deaf blind dog I’ve been tasked with looking after. I’m big into the outdoors. I spend a lot of time on planes and I’m offices so I get out as much as I can. It’s been a stressful couple of weeks but I just wanna shoot the shit with someone. I love finding out about new people. What interests them, what they do, why they do it. I live for that stuff. I’m ultimately looking to VC, like I say messages can be a bit soulless. I’m an open book, if you wanna talk about your love life I’m down. If you wanna talk about the basket case the world is atm, I’m down. I love my job and life in general so really I’m after some intimate chat. Life can be a lonely place sometimes. So if you’re interested hit me up. Happy to send pics or whatever. Hope to hear from someone soon!

2023.06.10 21:06 shelbyalexisblevins Three years of D&C at Wrigley: reflections

Three years of D&C at Wrigley: reflections
Last nights show at Wrigley Field was quite awesome. I think that was the hottest Sugaree I’ve heard, the Estimated was funky, Oteil’s banjo bass and Mickey’s artistic flare made drums face melting, Terrapin is always great. We are all affected by different parts of each show and we all have that one song that really moves our soul. For me, the geographical location of Wrigley is just as important as one of my favorite songs: Ramble on Rose.
I’ve seen D&C at Wrigley field the past three years. Out of the 33 shows I’ve seen, they are some of my favorites. Each time they have played Ramble on Rose (09/17/2021, 06/25/2022, 06/10/2023). My first time at Wrigley, I was so moved by the weather and music during that Ramble on Rose. It inspired me to write my personal essay for transferring schools. I felt lost that year. D&C and studying old GD set lists was how I spent my free time. By the 2022 summer tour, I felt less pessimistic about life. I still had no clue what the future held for me, I did not enroll in classes for my previous university, but didn’t get accepted into any schools yet. I knew the universe would put me where I needed to be. Then at Wrigley night 1 2022, I got accepted into my current university during an awesome Dear Mr. Fantasy > Hey Jude, at the same venue that I wrote my transfer essay on, seeing the same band. The next night they played Ramble on Rose. Then just last night, three years of seeing D&C at Wrigley, they played it again.
Like many of those on this page, this music and iteration of the band means a whole lot to us. Nights like these remind me of the bigger aspects of life. Us Heads exist all over the country, it’s brought us great friendships, inspiration, provided us opportunities to see new places. As this chapter of D&C comes to an end, I wanted to share my personal essay with this community along with photos from the last three Wrigley shows I’ve been to.
Thank you to the older Heads that refused to let the music die. Thank you to the musicians and cover bands who continue to let these songs fill the air. Thank you to the younger generations who keep the traditions alive. Thank you to the original members of the Dead still alive, and the great company they have. Thank you for a real good time.
Love is real, NFA❤️⚡️

2023.06.10 21:04 Hatsuwr '96 Grand Cherokee 4.0 loses power after extended drives.

This one has had me stumped for a while now.
The only correlations I have noticed are that this tends to happen after driving at least 30 miles or so, and *maybe* in warmer weather. Haven't been able to verify that last part though, especially since the problem is intermittent.
Turning the engine off and restarting (even without a delay) helps with the issue for a short time, but it will recur faster than if starting cold.
The Jeep begins to lose power, and the issue gets progressively worse over the next several minutes to the point where it can barely maintain speed.
Air filter is great. Injectors are relatively new and working fine. Spark plugs are clean and don't have too many miles on them. Fuel pump is new-ish. I have a pressure gauge on the fuel rail, but with the problem being intermittent I haven't had a good place to test while monitoring it.
I lean toward fuel pump/filter, but it seems odd that restarting would help the issue, but just for a short period. I don't like throwing parts at problems, but I think I'll at least replace the fuel filter anyway since it's far from new.

Any other ideas? I'll setup OBD logging for my next few rides and hopefully catch the issue happening. In the meantime, here is engine off/idle/3K RPM PIDs:

2023.06.10 21:02 Maravilla_23 30M. My iPhone been so quite, I’m out here signing up for weather alerts!

I mean…. I don’t know what it is but I don’t really think anyone uses iMessage or anymore or maybe social apps are the way to go? Either way, Reddit is def not the ideal choice for texting. Not shading the app, I do like it a lot. Well, on that note, if you’re up to text, chat, having a fun, spontaneous, zero boredom guaranteed, and easy going conversation then I’m def your guy! Otherwise, have a lovely weekend! Cheers
