When I go out of focus and come back into vim and if the cursor was in an empty space when I left the terminal window, I get the error "E349: No identifier under cursor" and if the cursor was on a word before I went out of focus then vim runs "[I" command.
With some trial and error, I figured out that this was caused due to "set mouse=a" option in my vimrc, but this problem started happening only a couple of days ago and I enabled mouse support months ago, so I am confused why its happening only now. With more digging around I found that when I lose focus vim receives "^[[O" characters and when I gain back fouce vim receives "^[[I" but this only happens when vim is running and with just my terminal(alacritty) opened and nothing running, no characters are received by my terminal. I tested these using 'cat' command, I ran 'cat' in my terminal and switched windows to lose focus and again switched back to gain focus but their were no inputs, but when I did the same thing in vim, while running a floating term provided by floatterm.vim, vim receives '^[[O' and '^[[I]' when FocusOut and FocusIn respectively.

I stopped playing the game for about 6 months as I got a seasonal winter job and simply didn’t have the time nor desire to play. My job ended around the middle of April and I’ve been playing every other day since, basically hopped back on at the beginning of the current season. I was a Plat 4 tank in OW2 season 1 (bounced between 2600-3100 in OW1, solo q 99% of games), and after doing placements after not playing since season 1, I got placed in Diamond 3. After placements, my next record went something like 5/7 and I immediately got knocked to Plat 3, and I have been stuck bouncing between Plat 3 & 4 endlessly since, no matter how good my record is. After initially falling back into Plat 3 I went on a terrible losing spree that actually made my overall W/L from all seasons go from positive to negative, though I’m playing pretty much the same as before if not better. ⠀ I believe the only reason the game threw me into Diamond 3 at the beginning of the season was to get me hooked on playing again, like a slot machine giving you a couple wins to hook you. Ever since the initial placement the majority of my teams have been miserable, and after each loss they seem to get worse; one of the only things that seems to break a bad losing streak is lucking out and having someone on the other team leave/disconnect. After that I can get a run of 3-8 W’s in a row. I’ve also found that sometimes switching to another role and playing that for a bit can help sometimes, but not very often. ⠀ I’m rambling a bit and idk how coherent this is or if I just come across as whiny, but the point is is that I don’t believe the game actually matches you with players of your level, I think it’s just a roll of the dice but it honeypot’s you every now n then so you keep playing. I’ve had games where my team completely btfo’s the other team - I’ll do pretty good, have 1st or 2nd most dmg, good k/d, and good amount of dmg mitigated - and then the very next game I’ll get put with the same DPS or support I just stomped - and, shocker - lose that next game the majority of the time. Idk. that’s just my experience and opinion
