I am looking to hear people’s experiences with cryotherapy and how many sessions it took them to be clear? I got diagnosed with molluscum on my genitals/inner thighs about 3 weeks ago now but noticed the bumps in March (thought they were ingrown hairs). I have had 3 cryotherapy sessions with my doctor and have definitely noticed some improvement and vanishing of bumps, but I am still having 4-5 very small new ones done each time I go in. I am wondering if it’d be worth it to try to see a dermatologist instead as my doctor misses some each time as she can’t see them super clearly. I have just started using mollenol on the ones I notice in between visits so I’m hoping this makes a difference too 🤞🏻

i'm helping to build props and set for a local production of guys and dolls over the next couple weeks, but ive never seen the show or heard the music. i'm going to listen to it eventually but i start tomorrow so i dont have time to really listen to it seriously. what are the basics i should know about the show?

So after watching the last Creed film in theatres and re-watching the Rocky movies, I've been thinking about how much things would've changed drastically had Ivan Drago never existed. Just this change would've changed the universe tremendously, especially that of the Creed family.
So here's my vision for what might've happened instead:
Apollo Creed is still contemplating his place in the world since his boxing days are now behind him. Yet there's no outlet for him without the Soviets coming around. After a few heart-to-hearts with Rocky, he manages a little better.
A few months later, a scandal breaks out. Apparently, a mistress of Apollo Creed has given birth to a son they conceived. Apollo's reputation takes a temporary hit in the public eye. Heartbroken, Mary Ann files for divorce, takes a split, and moves away. Apollo's relationship with his college-bound kids isn't looking so good. Rocky offers his support as much as he can, being the support system that he needs.
Apollo goes to the hospital to visit his baby boy for the first time, aptly named Adonis. After a custody battle, Apollo will be mostly taking care of him going forward, taking sole custody when Adonis' mother passes away when he's a small child.
Due to his father being alive, Adonis is able to avoid the experience of growing up in an abusive group home and having to spend his childhood in a detention facility, growing up in wealth from the start. As a result, he becomes a less aggressive/hardened person without those experiences shaping his canon character. But in turn, he becomes a more balanced and secure person with Apollo around to teach him and guide him, providing Adonis with the stability that he desperately needed as a young man- what he needed from a father figure.
Being his father's son, Adonis does express an interest in learning how to box. With some convincing, Apollo teaches his son the basics at Delphi Gym. Without needing to prove himself as he did in canon, he never takes a professional interest in it.
Apollo Creed's desire to fight again disappears as soon as he undertakes becoming a father again. Being the sole parent of Adonis helps him channel that restless energy. With his time and resources, Apollo decides to utilize them into cultivating the next boxing champion of the world.
Cut to the year of 2002- While watching a Golden Gloves fight with his son, his experienced eye notices the potential of one "Diamond" Damian Anderson. After Dame knocks out his opponent in the first round, Apollo goes to speak with the young man. After a follow up meeting the next day, he signs Dame to Delphi Gym and to "Creed Promotions" a boxing promotion firm created by Apollo.
Apollo tasks his old trainer Tony "Duke" Evers with being Dame's main trainer, as he becomes the young man's manager. For the next few years, Dame's boxing abilities skyrocket under the watchful eye of Duke and occasionally, Apollo. We see him winning gold at the Olympics and turning pro.
Cut to 2006- After seeing that he's gained enough maturity and experience, Apollo decides that Dame is ready for a shot at the title. To become #1, he'll have to compete against Mason "The Line" Dixon- the current undefeated champion. Not in his prime yet, Dame feels unsure about if he can step up to the challenge, but is reassured through the wisdom of his team that he is. Meanwhile, Dixon shows no respect for the young prospect, believing him to be a lamb being thrown to the wolves.
The stage is set. After going through a harsh training regime under both Apollo and Duke, he is deemed physically and mentally ready.
The fight happens. Mason Dixon's experience serves him well as he gains a slight lead on points, with Dame giving a headstrong performance. His corner firmly tells him to stay focused and pace himself. By round 8, Dame utters "checkmate" as he finishes the champion with a few well placed punches to his kidney and a final hook to the face.
The crowd erupts, in a stunning upset, the young Dame becomes the Heavyweight Champion of the World!! Dame shouts in happiness as Tony and Apollo lift him up in the ring, utterly proud of their protege!!
As the years go by, Dame enjoys an illustrious career in the ring. After the passing of his trainer Duke and retiring of Apollo, he then gets managed by Duke's son and Adonis, who Apollo put through business school and then inherited the reins of Creed Promotions.
Dame finishes his career with a couple back-to-back knockouts over undefeated contenders, Ricky Conlan and Danny "Stuntman" Wheeler. By 2021, he decides to hang up the gloves content with his career as he cements his status in the history books as one of the greatest champions in boxing history!!

I will have been working for a company for 4 months by the time I have my surgery. I am thinking my doctor will give me at least 2 weeks doctors note for recovery. However I will only have one full day of sick PTO, and of course I will be missing out on an entire paycheck when I’m gone. But I just found out about SDI/EDD. My employee handbook says everyone is eligible for SDI/EDD at our company. But how does it work? From what I’ve read, you have to apply minimum 9 days after your disability started. Once I apply and my doctor fills everything out, then what? How will I get paid? I also read there is a one week waiting period where I get paid nothing. Does that mean I will get one week of EDD money for the two weeks I am gone? When would I receive it? And how would they give it to me? I’ve never received any COVID relief payments or anything before so I’m not sure how these things work.

So currently, as we speak, the community laundry room is flooding. The second floor, where my clothes sit drying, is dripping from the ceiling. The walls are slowly sagging with water. The source of this water? A leaky pipe on the third floor which I have no personal clue how to deal with.
So, I noticed this at about 6:30pm. A single drop forming on the doorframe of the second floor laundry room. Hmm, I think to myself, not making much of it. By time I noticed that it was a genuine problem, it was nearly 9. I put in an emergency maintenance request. My clothes had just been put in the wash.
I call about it as well, it’s nearly 9 PM but this is getting fairly serious. They tell me they can’t contact maintenance but it’s likely they’re on the way. Call back in an hour if it’s still happening.
Okay… well. I had to dry my clothes anyways. So it’s now about 10. The flooding is getting worse. I’m scared to walk into the room because there’s machines above my head leaking. I toss my clothes into the drier and call again. This time, different woman on the phone.
This woman does not sound concerned. This woman sounds like she does not want to talk with me. I tell her, the laundry room on the third floor is leaking all the way to the first floor. The floor is covered in water now. The walls are sagging with water bubbles. The doorway is like walking through a small rain cloud. I am worried about possible fires.
Apartment lady: “I can’t get in contact with maintenance.”
Me: “What can I do about it, it’s flooding.”
Apartment lady: “I can’t tell you to do anything.”
Me: “Well it’s getting worse. The ceiling is dripping. There are outlets that are about to be wet.”

Well. It’s still flooding. My clothes are just about done.

Don’t you guys hate it in Charlotte when you try to make a right turn and someone cuts in front of you to get ahead. I’ve seen it so many times and it’s annoying. I get it people are in a rush but I feel like NC drivers are just dumb in general. Do you guys encounter that on a daily basis?

I’m 18 and probably have about 8 months of credit history. My only card is the discover It cash back but I travel more than ten times in a year so would it be worth it for me to get the CSR?

A quick summary I have two inside cats one Princess) have had for 10 years. My other cat (Keke) I have had for 3 years. Both female. They have always got along and been friendly. Yes they have their moments but never anything like I am experiencing now. For a week my younger cat Keke has been attacking my older cat every time she sees her. I have had them separated for a week and have watched every video I can find on how to reintroduce them. Nothing is working. I am desperate on any kind of advice or experience anyone has had like I love both of my cats and could never imagine my life without both of them. Please help!

Easier said that done. I find my job okay but of course there’s things I don’t like about it. Even when applying for new jobs it’s hard to schedule interviews during work time or after as I’m a closer and a lot of jobs hiring do interview times during my work time.
Telling someone to get a new job if they don’t like their current job is invalidating. Plus, if everyone tried to find a job they actually liked people would be complaining on why jobs like call centers are empty. Let us complain for a minute!
Luckily I don’t have crazy micromanaging but I get stressed out about other tasks I have to do. I just don’t do calls but I have to prioritize call time. I don’t want to get a supervisor messaging me to get back on the line when I went into aux to use the bathroom. I haven’t used personal time at all last month, give me a break.
Don’t tell people to just find a new job! Especially not in this economy. I complain because I put in a lot of work, so it’s my right. If I didn’t care about my job, then I wouldn’t complain about the things that irk me.

Some of my interests/what I do in my free time is watching tv shows. I enjoy action, thriller kind of tv shows. Although it is hard for me to get into a show but then I end up binge watching it.
Similarly same thing for the movies. My recent watch would be Fast X.
I do watch documentaries also. These can be any kind. For most part I have watched like social media related or documentary on a person.
I do watch formula 1 racing. Hopefully one day will get to experience it in person.
I enjoy listening to all genre of music but country. That is how I think most people are. Always trying to find new songs to listen to. I enjoy instrumental songs as well. Especially when I am working.
If you need someone to vent to then I am all ears. Not here to judge etc. can give outside perspective too.

Hey everyone, like the title says, I am looking for the best nature retreat for my wife who is recovering from cancer. It’s both our first times in Seattle and we expect to spend about 3 days in the city followed by 2 or 3 nights in a nature lodge. I’ve found some cute spots in Mt Rainier National Park but we have friends who have suggested Leavenworth. Ideally, we would like somewhere with lots of trees, serene atmosphere and light hikes to a beautiful lake/body of water. Anymore areas that we should be looking at besides the two mentioned above?

I need to find the name of a song where the guy sings about how he breaks every car he's ever owned. I listened to it on Amazon music,. It's alternative/acustic. I don't know the artist or any lyrics. I know how he sings about different cars he has owned and they keep breaking because of his luck. He only sings about cars and it's not a break up song, it's a song about cars. He described himself as the car killer or has the touch of death. I'm not sure exactly if that's what he says but that's the idea. Google can't find it, ai is worthless, hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. I don't think it came out super recently though I heard it for the first time about a month ago.

Anyone else got homophobic/transphobic families with this brand of bigotry? My mom sent me to a conversion therapist and this is how she gets to feel like she's in the right. And how everyone else in the family gets to be completely apathetic and then act all shocked because I don't love them or want them in my life.
There's something so insidious and violating about it when they convince you they just love you. That they don't hate trans/gay people, they just pity them for not knowing how to be normal. I almost feel satisfied by the few times she's let a slur slip or said something super rude/ignorant out loud. Because at least she doesn't get to act like it's all an act of love for a second. Sneaky bitch.
And you wouldn't even think to bring it up because they've already infected your mind with their bullshit. You already hate yourself for hurting your family and causing issues just by being yourself. And you already know they'll just make you out to be the agressomentally ill one.

I believe that my bf is the carrier of strep and the reason why I had it 3 times within the matter of 2 months and he isn’t taking it serious.
A couple of weeks before the first time I was diagnosed with strep he wasn’t feeling well and had a soar throat for a few days but it eventually went away. He chalked it up to simply a sore throat and we didn’t think much else of it.
He drives the bus and is always around people while I work from home and barely leave the house. I think that’s important here.
When I was diagnosed with strep the first time I figured shit happens. Strep is going around. This is normal. I was prescribed antibiotics and was fine.
It wasn’t until the THIRD recurrence did I realize a pattern. It seems like every time my bf and I are intimate, kiss and “swap spit” my throat hurts a couple of days later. This is in between antibiotics. We didn’t kiss at all while I was taking the meds.
I was up at 4 AM on google reading about Strep Carriers and I believe he is one. He has been dragging his feet to go get tested because he doesn’t have health insurance and because he feels perfectly fine.
I told him we wont be kissing until he gets tested because I cannot go through that again and if the tables were reversed, Insurance or not, I would have been to the ER or Urgent care to get a test. I’m not sure how to get him to take this serious. Not only because it’s affecting me but because his health.
He says that he feels just fine and that I’m over reacting.
AITA for accusing him of giving me strep since he hasn’t had a positive test to actually prove it?

I went back to work this week and baby started full time daycare. He decided to boycott pooping. He’s breastfed, and we consistently practiced with a bottle pre daycare, but new feeding practices must’ve really affected him, because omg did we have a surprise tonight! Crazy ending to a hell of a week!

Me (22) and my boyfriend (20) have been together officially for a little over two months. Most of the time, I feel like things are going well. We are both very strong Christians, and have been able to pray together and talk about the Bible a lot. However, I have been experiencing some issues on my end. Around the one month mark, I started dealing with a lot of anxiety that he was going to break up with me. I felt I was too boring and too stupid to me with him. I recently met his mom and that went well. He told me she said she really likes me. Tonight, he met my parents. The entire dinner went excellently. However, upon getting home, I was hit with so much anxiety. This was because it didn’t seem like he wanted to kiss me after bringing me home. He was clearly in a hurry. He told me he was extremely tired, but for some reason there is a part of me that thinks maybe he doesn’t really like me.
What should I do about this anxiety? It is the enemy? I have prayed about this relationship, and I do feel it is not against the Lord’s will, but I’m not sure what I should do about this stress.

Sofie is my least favorite character. Yeah she funny and all but she has no manners towards Caroline and is so self absorbed that she started saying "let's stop talking about anything that isn't me" and some other forms of that. She is stuck up and expects the girls to help her any time she needs it. Sophie gives me the ick.
