Got a Walmart order for a Neighborhood market which almost never has a car waiting. Offer: $11, total of 3 miles. Follow Uber app to the pickup location (a few blocks from my house). I check in, app say 1-5 bags. Awesome. About 2 minutes later an employee comes out and says they see I checked into spot 2 but I have no order to pick up with the driver code. He asks to see my order screen, I go back to the screen and the location has now changed to a Walmart Supercenter 5 miles away.
I know I didn't mess up the pickup spot because I know my area and I even followed the Uber navigation screen with the annoying, but sometimes usefull, turn right, turn right pickup on left voice prompts. I turned on my other 2 apps and immediately started getting delivery offers in the same complex, so I marked "cannot find pickup" and cancelled. It did not affect my cancel % but what the absolute fuck happened here is what I can't figure out.

Much of the west half of this span is marked off as a bike-friendly path on Google but the east half is not. It appears to be a mostly-continuous path which would be really convenient for some of my routes. Is there any reason I can't bike the whole span?

2023.06.04 17:10 Jcs609 Restaurants wanting drivers to come inside even when lobby is closed or the instructions say use curbside, I guess it’s because they were sending out too many wrong or incomplete orders in haste?

I guess the same with drive thrus as well? They are afraid of order theft or their personnel giving out wrong orders.
Apparently some say its because they want security camera footage which can be difficult when the driver is inside their vehicle out in curbside pickup. Originally they used curbside pickup to reduce contact during COVID and make things more convienenent.
I remember during COVID times I followed instructions to park curbside and call only to be told to come into the closed lobby, I asked as the instructions said to wait curb side. They mentioned their management require drivers to come in but they serve normal customers curb side they don't get why for the rules though.

I regularly order from instacart due to a busy schedule. I rarely choose delivery because the grocery store near me offers the curbside pickup option and I always tip minimum 20%. Recently I have run into an issue where I am notified that an item has been replaced or refunded, and if I attempt to request a different replacement (less than a minute after receiving the notification) I am blocked from doing so because the shopper has already checked out. How are they already checked out if they just replaced/refunded an item?
I guess I’m misunderstanding the shopping process. Do you mark items as shopped while you’re shopping or while you’re checking out? I’ll be honest, I gave them a poor rating because they didn’t communicate with me at all and gave me no time to approve/request replacements. Tip remained at 20% but it’s still frustrating, no?

So I purchased the YSL Uptown Leather Compact Wallet from Nordstrom and it arrived today. However, I noticed that the gold YSL hardware on the outside does not have any protective plastic or cover or sticker on it. Is that normal? Is it really not supposed to have that? I’m just a little paranoid because there’s a lot of counterfeit out there and I wanna make sure I didn’t get a fake one. I took a screenshot of it because I have already put it back in the box. But it is this Wallet.
