22-Year-Old Single Male Dead Head Looking

2023.05.29 05:04 Pop_Culture_Phan_Guy 22-Year-Old Single Male Dead Head Looking

I saw a young woman about my age post something similar about a week ago, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I'm a single 22-year-old male recent college graduate, from Southern Colorado. I'm nice and outgoing, like to have fun, and want to travel as much as possible. I cycle and hike as much as I can between work, going to shows, and spending time with family.
Absolute bookworm, and like a small boy obsessed with dinosaurs, I'm currently in an atomic bomb history phase. Yes it doesn't make a lot of sense, yes I will bring it up, and yes I did drag my family to the atomic bomb museum in Las Vegas.
Bring, me, two Pina Coladas, one for each hand (red grenadine is perfect too, but sadly the Dead doesn't have a catchy song about Pina Coladas like Garth Brooks does).
Regarding the Dead, I love the late 70's and early 80's the most. I think right now 4/20/84 has to be one of my favorite shows of all time, followed by 7/18/90.
Send me a message and let's see if we click!
(I've never written one of these before so apologies if it comes off clunky and odd).

2023.05.29 05:04 Overall-Marketing-39 Dead Again

The Buffalo-headed Man commented, "Dead again, Raven?"
Anthony Moon grabed a cold beer from the ice chest and plopped down by the fire. "Yep! You know me...right place, wrong time...always."
"What happened this time," the Buffalo-headed man asked, while sipping on his beer?
He never seemed to finish his beer, Moon thought to himself.
"Well, you know, same ole, same ole." Moon commented. "Summoned to Ireland to protect a kid -- Abby -- and the kid blew herself up. Encountered the Combine trying to leave. Shot in the head."
The Buffalo-headed man chuckled quietly, "That does sound familiar."
"How was this different from Las Vegas," he inquired?
"Well, there were undead ... so that's the same. You know I hate zombies. Then there was a crater dog (of sorts), so that was the same. Then, we were trying to get the heck out of Dodge and who should show up ... The Combine."
"So, not much has changed."
"Met an odd one though," Moon added. "Says his name is Bart. He said he was from the 1800s -- like a Red Dead Redemption character right out of the game."
The Buffalo-headed man frowned, but stayed quiet.
"Yea ... my thoughts too," Moon continued after a swig of his beer. "Seems he was trapped in a teleporter dimension for...ever." Moon drew out the last word with a knowing nod to the Buffalo-headed man.
"Yea ... probably a demon. Seems he was trapped there pre-dimensional travel. By some Indian witch doctor or shaman. He has magical powers, but doesn't seem evil."
Moon downed the last of the cold beer as the Buffalo-headed man considered the situation.
As Moon grabbed another beer and cracked it open, the Indian God mused aloud. "You should return to this 'Ire...land', Raven. I suspect your work is not done."
"Look, man," Moon pointed the tip of the beer bottle at the Buffalo-headed man, "I died and the girl died. My contract in 'Ire...land'," he emphasized in air quotes, "is done."
They were both quiet for a time.
"Look," Moon stated, "My time on Earth is over ... again ... and it's time for me to get back to helping the souls to get to the Happy Hunting Grounds.
"I'm not so sure," the Buffalo-headed man replied. "Even now the demon, named Bart, is trying to bring you back."

2023.05.29 04:04 BelowsAbove123 Starting to think "competitive" list don't matter.

Yeah we all want a "competitive list" but does it really matter? It's all just based on dice rolling. I hate when people say "your rolls are really good" or "your rolls are really bad." I have no control over it. I can bring nothing but the least "competitive list" and roll really well while the other player with the blood angels army that won Las Vegas open, can "roll terribly" and I can table him and be over it. Its a matter of if the universe hates you or not. I had a decent list and then started getting everything wiped away, vehicles exploding, Plasma over charge failing and all kinds of "if it can go wrong it will."

2023.05.29 03:02 ConsciousDivide3549 [Offline][Las Vegas][5e][LGBTQIA+ friendly]Looking to run a preset module with eventual homebrew!

Hello everyone! My name is Mila. I’m 23 and have roughly 5 years of D&D playing /Dm-ing and would love to DM for a new group of players! All knowledge levels are welcome. I own a few different modules and would like to start off by running a module and then moving into something more home-brewed! I very often will add chapters or quests of my own into prewritten official games and this is how I am able to branch off into my own stuff. I’ll list the modules I have at the end of this post to see if any of them pique your interests :] I am currently hoping to run this game either on Sunday’s, I’m available all day, or Tuesday’s at or after 4. We would also be playing weekly or bi-weekly depending on everyone’s schedules.
I do also want to emphasize that racism, homophobia, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. I want everyone to have a place where they can have fun and escape real life troubles for a few hours.
If you are interested in playing, please fill out the linked google form! I’ll send out messages to those who reply via discord. Ideally I’m looking for 5 players but we’ll see how many replies this gets :D Once a group is established we can decide together which module we’ll play and go from there!
The form: https://forms.gle/WKhmiHER9JbLhDCo8
The modules/content books I have: •Netherdeep •Eberron •Icewind Dale •Out of the Abyss I also have CoS but am more hesitant to run this game ** I also have Dragonheist and Beyond the Witchlight though I have already run these but am willing to run them if they are popular amongst the group!
