2023.05.30 00:53 Kratangg 「Neon Wound」

Namesake: Neon Wound by Silversun Pickups
User: Berc (Deceased)
Automatic stand
Stats:
Power: A
Speed: D (Steady gait similar to a human; capable of running if need be)
Range: Ø (Posthumous stand; can move anywhere)
Durability: A* (Bears countless scars and dents, but still stands strong and cannot regenerate)
Precision: E (Can be directed by manipulating its preprogrammed responses, but not controlled)
Potential: E (Can no longer adapt of alter directives)
Appearance:
「Neon Wound」 is seven feet tall, and has the appearance/texture of oxidized copper. Its silhouette is wide-shouldered, armored, and imposing. Its internals seem to consist of an overlapping series of fluorescent webs.
It wears a flowing scarf, and an abundance of chains trail down the back of its neck from the top of its 'helmet', which possesses a protruding section from the forehead down past the chin. Its eyes are rotating white triangles in a black void.
Ability:
「Neon Wound」 was originally an automatic stand, which could be released aimlessly or instructed to target an individual/category of entity. It would perform the first action done to it upon summoning to the targeted individual(s) or to those it encountered, depending on the setting. While not possessing a personality of its own, it retained its user's chivalrous nature and respectful mannerisms.
After its user's death, during which it was elsewhere summoned and performing its duty, the stand was miraculously preserved. It retains and continues to carry out the designated actions it was executing at the time, those being [Behead via weapon] and [Defend self]. These instructions, both vague and restrictive, have led to its current state and use.
Namely:
「Neon Wound」 can be seen, touched, and harmed by non-stand users.
User information/backstory:
There was once a traveler that sought only the growth of others, and would go to great lengths to achieve such results. The wanderer, having shed his true name long ago, was known only by ‘Berc’, and is rumored to have once served in some high court in the past. While no longer a true knight, he was still a chivalrous warrior and desired nothing more than to help others. He had made a great many mistakes and lost his one love to events he may have been able to prevent, and had perhaps been responsible for. Deep in his mind, back then, he had wished death upon himself. Redemption was truly unattainable, and he surely needed to pay for his sins. What good could come of him continuing on?... Yet, he was saved. Not by himself directly, but the actions of a mysterious giant that arrived at his feet one day. It put him through trials he, deep down, wished for. He emerged a better man, and while not perfect, saw the path forwards. He wished for others to be picked up in this same way, and his knight would be the way.
And so it remained. Always present, always watching, always signifying and reminding of the past. It was his 「Neon Wound」, serving not to denigrate him in memoriam of past wrongdoing, but as a reminder of his purpose, and the key to a better future. After his experience and revelation, Berc traveled about as a hermit of sorts, assisting others via his stand. His methods were…touch love, to say the least. Many involved intense trials or attacks, forcing them to act and improve themselves, testing them, etc. Though, regardless, it tended to work out for the best, and he left a great many soothed souls in his wake. The jovial man often met his ‘students’ in his endless travels, sharing freshly caught game and joyous stories. He was easily recognizable by his snappy green attire and large beard matched by long hair that only grew longer with age. His laugh was not one to forget, and time spent with Berc was time well spent. Though, there was one trait that had never changed in all his years, and would be the end of him…
He was a fool.
He was trusting, jolly, and held no grudges. Yet, not everyone was grateful to the wandering knight, and there were those who sought vengeance the man was no longer capable of comprehending. One such individual had finally tracked the hermit down. He was once chased down by 「Neon Wound」, but let off as one that would not help themselves and therefore could not be helped by others. Berc looked the man up and down, noting the unsheathed blade. His knight was elsewhere, testing a young man and unable to defend its master. Advanced age had left him weak despite his best efforts, and he could see the writing on the wall. He laughed, gave a sorrowful smile, and apologized. He had clearly failed this man, and was deeply sorry for that fact. His final wish was that this alleviated the pain caused to his soon to be murderer at least a bit. Though, it was deeply regrettable that he would not be able to help others from this point on…unlike his gallant stand, he could not live on without his head…
Meanwhile, the young man Berc had sent 「Neon Wound」 to give a push to was undergoing great emotional change. The fight had been perilous, forcing him to reconsider his time up until that point. Just moments before, he had been sitting in a ruined home simply waiting to die, but was now attempting to preserve his own life. Why? The sudden looming force of death had done it. It reminded him he had others to truly live for, not merely rot away alongside the out of the way manor where he had failed to protect his loved ones so long ago. They pushed past the pain, accepting the blow it dealt to their neck and tearing the weapon from their attacker’s grasp. 「Neon Wound」 halted, assuming a patient position at 'attention'. The former prince had overcome the trial, and gazed upon the blade he had torn from the giant’s grasp. With a bow, he left the stand and returned to a, hopefully fulfilling, life. 「Neon Wound」, however, would not be recovered by its user. It would stand resolute and wait for one that would not come, remaining perfectly still in front of the ruined manor for thirty-two years. The forest had long overtaken the area, and the nearby path had since transformed into a road that few strayed far from.
One of those few, a knight surveying the area at the behest of their king, would be the first living person to see the stand since that fateful day with the prince. The knight, Den, approached the decaying manor. The area was good land, and his liege was seeking a new location for an outpost along this road. Drawing his sword to cut down obscuring foliage, he took note of the topography, state of the current dilapidated structures, and a salvageable well. Finally, after circling the area, he stood face to face with the noble statue that had guarded this hopeless home for God knows how long. A thankless job, to be certain. Den cleaned up the statue to the best of his ability, cutting off vines and removing rubble to find its actual structure completely untouched by age. Fascinating.
He would rest afterwards, setting his sword down and removing his stand’s semi-transparent feathers from his eyes in preparation to send back as part of his report. He began unpacking his supplies to pen the accompanying letter as a glint of movement shone in the edge of his vision. Den felt an overwhelming presence-a powerful force unlike any he’d encountered before. He innately, instinctually understood the danger he was in before snapping his gaze towards the statue. It was moving before his very eyes, and was moments away from grabbing his sword, which rested against the same log he sat upon. He rushed to kick the sword away as his stand, 「DESTINY」, screeched to life and recreated the ferns that once enclosed the statue’s knees to bind it in place for the time being. Den dove for his sword, managing to recover it mere seconds after the statue tore through the metal foliage.
It stopped.
The statue wound down, and had returned to its stoic pose. This…was a discovery of great importance. Their kingdom was a special one, founded by a mighty warrior given power through a Holy blade. The sword itself was currently kept within the deepest bowels of their fortified capital, only to be used in special rituals such as coronations and granting knighthood. Its power to bless those worthy with miraculous abilities was the bedrock of their nation’s success. The fact the area he now stood in, suggested after consultation by a high priest with a similar blessing to his own, housed an artifact comparable to the founder’s sacred blade was beyond telling. This could not more clearly be fated by God, who had led this humble knight to a guardian. Den’s prodding and investigation revealed the giant could be led by the hand, confirming his theory. He dropped to his knees and hurriedly scribbled his report, sealed with 「DESTINY」’s feathers and sent back via his messenger bird. The King needed to know of this at once.
Den began the slow journey home behind his letter, leading the giant. An incident late one night only magnified their awe and appreciation, as it defended him in his sleep, slaughtering a rabid wolf that had apparently lunged at him. The various events like this that transpired over the course of the walk home would be relayed as well, securing the statue’s place in their kingdom’s legacy. The guardian sent by God would reside in the throne room, and would be tasked with performing rituals with the nation’s sacred blade from this point onwards. Its actions, as the knighthood had learned through trial and error, were perfectly suited to the duties. It would stand tall in the throne room as its loyal guardian, and act as the liaison to determine which princes were chosen to lead the kingdom for well over a century. It served its purpose until the tragic end of the nation…

2023.05.30 00:49 MiningIR The Glittering Legacy of Gold: A Timeless Hedge Against Inflation in the 21st Century

https://miningir.com/the-glittering-legacy-of-gold-a-timeless-hedge-against-inflation-in-the-21st-century/
Throughout human history, few commodities have captivated the imagination and influenced economies as much as gold. From its early uses in ancient civilizations to its role as a global standard of wealth, gold has stood the test of time. In the 21st century, this precious metal continues to shine, particularly as a reliable hedge against inflation. This article explores the historical significance of gold and its enduring appeal as a safe haven in times of economic uncertainty.
Gold’s allure dates back thousands of years. Ancient civilizations revered it for its beauty, rarity, and durability. From the pharaohs of Egypt to the empires of Rome and Greece, gold adorned royal regalia, sacred temples, and intricate jewelry. In time, gold emerged as a medium of exchange and a store of value. Its universal acceptance and intrinsic worth made it a trusted means of conducting trade across cultures and continents.
One of the key reasons gold has retained its value over centuries is its ability to act as a safe haven in times of economic uncertainty. During periods of inflation, when the value of fiat currencies erodes, gold tends to maintain its purchasing power. Investors turn to gold as a hedge against currency devaluation and rising prices. Its limited supply, combined with its enduring appeal, gives gold an inherent stability that attracts investors seeking refuge from the volatility of other asset classes.
In the 21st century, the global economy has faced numerous challenges, including inflationary pressures. Inflation erodes the value of fiat currencies and decreases purchasing power. Central banks often respond to economic downturns by adopting expansionary monetary policies, such as printing more money or reducing interest rates, which can further fuel inflation. As a result, investors seek assets that can preserve their wealth in times of inflation, and gold stands as a favored choice due to its historical track record.
The Toronto Venture Exchange (TSXV) has gained recognition as a hub for junior mining companies. These companies explore, develop, and mine gold deposits with significant growth potential. Investing in junior mining stocks offers investors the opportunity to gain exposure to gold’s performance while also benefiting from potential capital appreciation as these companies uncover new resources.
Junior mining stocks can be enticing for investors due to the potential for substantial returns. The exploration and development of new gold deposits can lead to significant value appreciation if successful. However, it is crucial to note that investing in junior mining stocks carries inherent risks. These include the uncertainties of resource estimation, geopolitical factors, regulatory challenges, and operational risks. Thorough due diligence and careful consideration of the company’s track record and management are essential for mitigating these risks.
Gold’s attributes make it an effective hedge against inflation in the 21st century. Its limited supply ensures that it cannot be easily inflated like fiat currencies. Additionally, gold’s value is not tied to any specific government or central bank, which provides insulation from the policies and actions of individual nations. This independence allows gold to serve as a store of value that holds up against the erosive effects of inflation, making it an attractive option for investors seeking stability and wealth preservation.
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected and economies face ongoing challenges, gold’s status as a hedge against inflation remains relevant. In an era of unprecedented fiscal and monetary policies, gold retains its intrinsic value and acts as a reliable asset. While the specific market dynamics and economic landscapes may evolve, the enduring qualities of gold position it as a timeless hedge against inflation, offering investors a safe haven in an uncertain world.
Gold’s illustrious history and enduring allure as a store of value have solidified its position as a trusted hedge against inflation. Its scarcity, beauty, and universal acceptance have made it a desirable asset across cultures and time periods. As the 21st century unfolds with its economic uncertainties, gold continues to shine as a reliable store of wealth, offering investors a timeless hedge against inflationary pressures.

2023.05.30 00:41 RiotMMO Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction

Project F Early Development Gameplay
Source: TheRiotMMO
Project F is a research in-development game that will be produced by Riot Games, Inc. The upcoming ARPG is expected to be a PvE action RPG. In other words, a player vs environment action roleplaying game. It appears to be a cooperative action game based in Runeterra, where players can team up against monsters using champions from League of Legends. Project F is isometric, stylized and casual. It seems Project F has been in development for some time. If you’re looking forward to playing it soon and learning more, then read on.

Riot Project F Announced

Interestingly, Project F was never officially announced. We had our first glimpse of Project F during League of Legends’ 10-Year Anniversary Celebration live stream.
10-Year Anniversary Celebration Riot Pls: 10th Anniversary Edition - League of Legends
Beginning at the 32-minute 38-second mark there were a few sequences of Project F gameplay. Granted, it was early development footage of Riot’s Project F. It is important to note, Riot Games intentionally previewed Project F. Project F was not a leak. In fact, Project F has been under wraps for the most part since that very day.

What is Riot Project F?

Project F is an upcoming ARPG set in the world of League of Legends. Actually, set in Runeterra to be more precise. It is a cooperative action game where players control the champions from League of Legends. You will traverse through Runeterra and defeat enemies along your way. Players will get to use iconic and familiar champion abilities that have been established through League of Legends gameplay as well as new abilities too.

Project F Landscape

There will be varying levels of inclination throughout your adventures. Given Project F is an isometric game, the sense of height and depth will be an important design element if Riot wants to make this game a successful as possible. So, throughout your adventures you will have to descend higher terrain on occasion.
You can expect to see familiar landscapes that share a similar art style as League of Legends’. As with many isometric games, such as Lost Ark, Diablo, Path of Exile, etc., the background will contain interesting landscapes while the foreground will feature rich and detailed visuals.
Overall, it appears the art design will showoff bright and beautiful colors. Expect to see the following decorative elements; colorful trees, plants, flowers, roots, large stones plus a variety of terrains. While we aren’t sure yet, it appears players cannot fall off the map.
One feature we find to be a nice touch is the dust from the ground that rises as players jump from heights.

Project F Game FeaturesPing System

It looks as though Project F might feature a ping system. Presumably players can ping locations on the field. Once a location is pinged, a red floating inverted cone will remain at the desired location for a time. Coordinated players can use pings to set focus areas, destinations, and other communicative commands. It could also be that Blitzcrank’s melee abilities inadvertently marks the ground for some unknown reason. Again, we saw early development footage. We expect most of the features to not be fully implemented.

Jumping Over Ledges

Another feature that Project F appears to include is jumping over ledges when traversing through corners of map without terrain. For example, when Ezreal walks forward, there is no terrain under him just a few steps ahead. Just before the ledge, Ezreal leaps over the cliff edge and lands on the other side. It’s unclear whether this will be a player command or our characters will jump over edges by themselves.

Cast Indicators

Taliyah
Project F takes a feature from it’s inspiration League of Legends. Ranged characters will have casting with indicators. It’s not known if the indicators can be turned off or not. Casting indicators are a useful feature. The indicator serves as a projection guide. Players can line up the indicator with their target for improved accuracy.

Friendly Fire

Friendly fire was a feature in the early development build. When a player is in a casting state, it means they are about to use an ability. At this point a cast indicator is visible. Likely only visible to the player casting, if it’s anything like the League of Legends feature. Now, when the player’s indicator intersects with a cooperative teammate, the color of the indicator turns red.
While the friendly fire colored cast indicator is insightful, it brings up more questions than answers. First, maybe it’s possible there are various difficulties in which you can damage your teammates. Second, allies could very well block teammates skill shots, hence the red indicator. Another possibility is while hovered over an ally, you cannot cast your skill shot. All of this is speculative of course. We will provide updates as they come.

Equal Base Movement Speed

From looking at the Project F short clip, we can see each player has the same base move speed. Keep in mind, equal base movement speed may not be the case at launch. Furthermore, it’s possible gear can be equipped and stats or talents can be acquired that affect the champions movement speed. Nonetheless, an equal base movement speed does reinforce the casual nature of Project F.

Project F Early Development Gameplay

Possible Game Features

Boss Fights

We may see boss fights. In the image below, a Project F developer is seen with a reference image on his second monitor. Part of the image showed Wild Rift assets of Varus and Ashe fighting a massive image of the League of Legends item Static Shiv.

Boss Mechanics – Slow Effect

https://preview.redd.it/x1fpwcje3w2b1.jpg?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cafe07ef5f0e7952af3c7cb515481cdb6947dbe
In that same screenshot, the giant Static Shiv appear to emanate a yellow aura outwards up to under the attacking champions’ feet. The yellow aura looks incredibly similar to the slow effect from League of Legends.

Vayne

Checkpoints

On the same map where we have Blitzcrank, Lux, and Ezreal fighting, all three champions can be seen fooling around a campfire. There are no enemies present. Furthermore, they appear to be at a dead end with only one direction to go….into the forest. In the meantime, the players are running around and using abilities around this empty campfire area. Perhaps this starting area can serve as a communication hub amongst teammates before they begin their quest or journey. Alternatively, these checkpoints could be scattered throughout zones in order to let players rest, change armor, tools, loadouts, or reestablish their strategy.

Champions in Riot’s Project F

We know of at least three playable champions in Project F. The following champions include, Blitzcrank, Lux, and Ezreal. Below includes a brief overview of the mentioned champions for those unfamiliar with the League of Legends champion roster.
--

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank is a support-style tank. In the world of Runeterra, he a a mechanical golem dedicated to protecting Zaun from harm and supporting its citizens.
In League of Legends, he uses powerful lightning infused mechanical forces to subdue, retract, and stun foes for his allies. Meanwhile, he soaks up and blocks damage effectively for his teammates.

Lux

Lux is a support-style mage. In Runeterra, Lux is an aristocrat from Demacia with the ability to manipulate light. Unfortunately, Demacia prejudice against mages.
While playing League of Legends, Lux possessing offensive and defensive magical abilities that can stun and damage enemies and shield allies.

Ezreal

Ezreal ranged damage dealer. According to the lore, Ezreal was born by wealthy Piltovan archeologists. Ezreal now explores foreign lands and uses his powerful yet mysterious Shuriman gauntlet to defeat his adversaries.
Gameplay wise, Ezreal is a ranged short-ranged damage with good mobility including short teleports.
--

Project F Champion Abilities

In the snippet, we saw several champion abilities adapted from League of Legends. At the same time, there were a number of innovative abilities that fit with the theme of the respective champions. It’s worth mentioning the champion auto attacks have a low cooldown.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank Fan Art

  1. Blitzcrank uses both fists to attack foes directly in front of him
  2. Blitzcrank begins with a wide left hook and then a wide right hook to damage enemies directly in front of him.
  3. Finally, Blitzcrank leaps into the air, extends his arms and and smashes the ground doing damage doing damage in a radius around him.

Possible Champions in Riot Project F

During the League of Legends 10-Year Anniversary stream, a developer had a reference page on his second monitor. It appeared to be two League of Legends champions outside of the traditional League game environment. In fact, is looked like a rudimentary Project F environment based on the ground particles seen in the anniversary video. Although, the screenshot of Varus and Ashe were assets from Wild Rift along with Wild Rift user interface. In the frame, you could see Varus and Ashe attacking a large massive image of the League item Static Shiv. Presumably the image of static shiv was a placeholder image for a boss.
Moreover, there was a clip in the video where Lulu was being designed for Project F in Unreal Engine. This Lulu was distinguished from the Lulu in League of Legends. Therefore, it’s safe to conclude, Lulu was at the least being designed in the early development stage.
Therefore, it is possible Varus and Ashe could be in Project F.

Possible Champion: Lulu

In-development Lulu
Lulu is a yordle from Bandle City. Specifically she is fae sorceress. While wandering in Runeterra she befriended a fairy named Pix. We she delighter to find many of her newfound abilities remained while back in Bandle City.
During gameplay, Lulu is a ranged support champion. He has a lot of crowd control and can provide her allies with buffs such as shields, increased health and movement speed.

Possible Champion: Ashe

Ashe is an Iceborn Warmother. She is from an inhospitable norther region called the Freljord. She leads the Avarosans, which is one of the three major tribes of the Freljord.
In League of Legends, is a ranged damage dealer, known as an ADC (attack damage carry). Ashe also features support features in her kit, such as slows, and revealing fog of war for the team.

Possible Champion: Varus

Varus used to be a magically ascended hunter from Shurima ages ago. After the loss of their king, his kind had succumb to insanity and blood magic, becoming Darkin and wreaking havoc on Runeterra. The Darkin were imprisoned in their weapons by the Aspects. Accordingly, Varus in his bow. Two Ionian men relinquished Varus. Now Varus consists of a Darkin and two men who resist his every more.
Varus is an ADC, with a mix of attack and magical damage.

Classes in Project F

Several League of Legends champions will be designed in Project F. We also know Project F is an action roleplaying game with a cooperative option. With the brief gameplay in mind, each champion will be unique. As a result, Project F could implement at the very least a basic class system. This is an role-playing game after all.
For example, Blitzcrank make possess tankier stats such as increased health, resistances, and mitigative abilities.
Next, there could be support classes and mage support classes. If League of Legends is to be reimagined, Lux would fall into the mage-support class type. Also, Lulu would belong to the support-mage class type.
Another class would be ranged damage dealers. Naturally, Ezreal and Varus would belong to this category.
We’ve yet to see a brawler, or physical fighting class type. Would would an Action RPG be without one. It would be interesting to see champions such as Darius, Garen, Tryndamere, Olaf and others of the like fit this role.
It’s possible Assassins could be a class in Project F. We have a ton of them in League already. Assassins champions that come to mind include, Nocturne, Evelyn, Talon, and Fizz.

Who is Working on Project F?

We currently know of one Riot employees working on Project F.

Kate Chironis

We believe Kate Chironis is the design director for Riot Games’ Project F, the upcoming ARPG. If so, then she started the early development of Project F when there were only three designers. Here’s what Kate had to say.
I helped bootstrap a new game as one of three early designers on the project. I focused on core game loop, player systems, the fundamental building blocks of enemies/encounters/AI, and helping establish the initial vision for several different types of content in the game. I prototyped heavily during this time period to “find the fun” in UE4/Blueprint.Kate - LinkedIn
It’s likely the quote from Kate refers to Project F because in the League Anniversary from October 2019, we can see Kate working on Project F.

Riot Project F Release Date

We’re not sure when Riot Project F will release. Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

https://preview.redd.it/pxtelmtl3w2b1.jpg?width=534&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8055a3c3d8b2262877adeaee9df9abc87f1b8b5
I am optimistic that players will get to see it, but I don’t know when.
Kate Chironis – Twitter

Nonetheless, we can speculate the game have a trailer, gameplay or other public media in late 2024. Remember, Project F likely began around pre-development in May 2022. This is based on Kate’s start date at Riot Games from her LinkedIn experience. In the experience description she describes work that lines up with Project F. Furthermore, 17 months later, Riot showed an early development of Project F where Kate was actively iterating.

Summary

Let’s summarize what we know about Riot Project F, the in-development ARPG. Project F appears to be non-canon. We saw three unrelated champions fighting alongside each other. Specifically, Ezreal, Blitzcrank, and Lux generally do not interact in canon lore. Ezreal is from Piltover, explores Shurima. Lux is from Demacia, and Blitzcrank is bound to Zaun as far as we know. To have all three of them fighting alongside a common enemy defies canon lore.
Also, Project F looks to be a casual friendly game. We believe it would make a great party/couch game. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this game became available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. Project F does not appear to be graphically intensive. It comes off as a nice coop couch game you’d play on the weekends with friends.
Project F will be created in Unreal Engine. We’re unsure whether it’s Unreal Engine 5 or 4. We can expect to play as several champions such as, Blitzcrank, Lux, Ezreal, Lulu and likely more.
Stay tuned for more updates on Riot’s upcoming Project F.

Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction

Boss Mechanics – Slow Effect

https://preview.redd.it/fymkg8j32w2b1.jpg?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14d8e7accf6513aee0741b710c07460bae9a6aef

  • Basic Triple Auto Attack Combo: Blitzcrank uses three separate attack to perform a combo.

Lux

Lux Fan Art
  • Basic Attack: Lux let’s out a projectile of light as well as a short arcing swipe with her wand damaging foes directly in front of her.
  • Final Spark: In Project F, Lux possesses what is known as her Ultimate ability, Final Spark, in League of Legends. Lux projects a narrow beam over an incredible distance, dealing dealing high damage to all enemies.

Ezreal

Ezreal Fan Art
  • Ezreal lets out a grappling hook that returns to him upon reaching its destination.

Possible Champions in Riot Project F

In-development Lulu

I prototyped heavily during this time period to “find the fun” in UE4/Blueprint. Kate - LinkedIn
It’s likely the quote from Kate refers to Project F because in the League Anniversary from October 2019, we can see Kate working on Project F.

Riot Project F Release Date

We’re not sure when Riot Project F will release. Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

https://preview.redd.it/x0wi7bcu2w2b1.jpg?width=534&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45725b43395229c66c086a823d1c67cc7fcaf708

2023.05.30 00:35 Abject_Ocelot_5056 Personnel file from a private employer

Is there a federal law that could compel my employer to provide information in my personnel file during a security clearance investigation? There is no state law that compels employers in that jurisdiction to grant access to its employee’s personnel file.
If no employees of my former company are willing to speak with the investigator, would they go out of their way to find people who no longer work there and will be willing to talk? Neither HR nor employees who knew me will disclose anything other than title and dates of employment.
I am not hiding anything. I just want to know how far the investigation is willing to take this. I am annoyed that I am being required to prove my attempts to obtain documentation from my 6 year-old personnel file that does not exist. And even if it did exist, I can’t imagine a world in which an extremely lawsuit-conscious company would release it.

The events of Mindcrack's first 10 years are covered in my History of Mindcrack written in 2020.
Some spreadsheets I have with stats:
Thanks to Guardax, Pellervo_page, and Ageofdune for providing Discord numbers.
And there we have it, another look back into the past is complete as we take a moment to reflect on how we got here amongst the never ending flow of time. Even in just one year there's been countless changes throughout the many people in Mindcrack, both good and bad, and it's easy to lose track of just how much happens with so many different people each living their own lives. Who knows what kinds of changes we'll see as another year passes and we open the 10th time capsule in 12 months.
The 2023 time capsule will be coming soon, there's a lot of info to collect so I'll be asking for help in the Discord, and anyone in the community will be welcome to add their own messages and info in the capsule. For the time being though let's focus on this capsule and all the changes that took place in the last year, and feel free to discuss any of them that stood out to you!

2023.05.30 00:28 RiotMMO Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction

Riot Games' Project F - An Upcoming ARPG In Depth Introduction
Source: TheRiotMMO
Project F Early Development Gameplay

What is Riot Project F

Project F Game Features

Ping System

Boss Mechanics – Slow Effect

https://preview.redd.it/0wj3ki930w2b1.jpg?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab336083bcf0ecf91503f90509e0668c4e8fa855

  • Basic Triple Auto Attack Combo: Blitzcrank uses three separate attack to perform a combo.
  • Blitzcrank uses both fists to attack foes directly in front of him
  • Blitzcrank begins with a wide left hook and then a wide right hook to damage enemies directly in front of him.
  • Finally, Blitzcrank leaps into the air, extends his arms and and smashes the ground doing damage doing damage in a radius around him.

Lux

Even Kate Chironis, a likely Project F employee said she’s unsure of the release date.

https://preview.redd.it/hufmno271w2b1.jpg?width=534&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9b0a775f8c611eb7ddcc058851e0ac6bd2b2009
