How to redistribute stats elden ring

We've been together for two years.
TLDR: He follows a girl on Instagram that I don't know, and she follows him back. He's never mentioned her before.
Recently me and my boyfriend had an argument, which isn't usual for us. It was pretty bad, but it's been talked through and resolved now, however things are still a bit tender between us. I don't want to get into what the argument was about as it is unrelated.
Anyway, I was scrolling on Instagram today and that recommended account section came up. I saw there was a girl I didn't know, and my boyfriend followed her. I decided to investigate as this is unusual, and I just wanted to see if I could recognise her from our old school or something. I never intended to snoop, but I noticed she had another account tagged in her bio so I just clicked on it not really thinking much about it, and it took me to an account she had made for her car. I saw that my boyfriend also followed this account.
Alarm bells didn't really start ringing yet, I was still just confused. I went back to her main account and saw that she actually follows my boyfriend back, so that means that they do know eachother to some extent.
I also feel like them following eachother is recent as he hasn't liked any of her photos, and she hasn't liked any of his.
My boyfriend also has an account for his car, however its fairly new, so that could possibly be how they connected. But he doesn't follow either of her accounts from his car account, only from his main. She only follows back his main - I hope this all makes sense.
Previous to this, I have always trusted my boyfriend from day one, I've never felt the need to go through his Instagram or any social media, and he's never lied or hidden anything from me. We've always had good communication. This whole situation is just unusual to me.
Since I've never felt the need to go through his Instagram, I don't know if she's just always been there, however the signs do point to this being recent. I'm not bothered if he's just made a new friend, whatever, I'm just confused as he's never mentioned her at all.
And since I've never been in this situation, and because our last argument is still a sore subject that we're recovering from - I'm worried bringing this up will just be possibly starting an argument for no reason.
I'm worried he'll think I don't trust him. I truly have done since forever, but this is just so unusual for him that I feel it would give me peace of mind just to have some answers. But is it worth it, possibly stirring the pot for no reason. Possibly making our situation worse just as we are starting to heal.
I say no reason because I have diagnosed anxiety, and I honestly couldn't tell you if this is a gut feeling situation, or if its my anxiety going off the rails since our argument is still so fresh in my mind, despite it being resolved. I don't think I'd normally care to this extent, but I just can't get it off my mind and I need some clarity.
So reddit, do I bring this up to him? Do I instead wait for the waters to be calmer? Or do I just not mention it, and let it pass?

My iphone13 was decently charged before I went to sleep and I woke up to under 20% battery. When I checked the battery drain stats it revealed the Discord background activity kicked in and sucked down most of the available battery. I’ve never seen anything like this before but when I google it, I’m not the only person this has happened to. Would be great if we could get some understanding of how and why the app can do this. I like the app but have to uninstall if this starts happening more often.

We already know there are easter eggs in the game that haven’t been discovered yet, and given how complex the hidden door in 1-3 was to unlock, I bet the others are similarly hidden. To get that one, you had to trade Ceramic Coins found in the Fractured World to Sparkly the Crow- so what if Sparkly has already given us another hint?
The Ring of Uneven Scales is a remake only item that you also get from Sparkly by trading a Gold Coin. It has a description that makes me a little suspicious..
“A traveler's ring bearing an engraving of a tilted scale. Raises maximum item burden, but lowers maximum equip burden. This ring attracts those seeking fortune who also wish to avoid conflict.”
There’s two NPCs I could imagine this could apply to: Patches and Scirvir. In the game, Patches’ dialogue after beating three archstones hints at armor and weapons hidden in the Swamp of Sorrows. And hey, guess what the another ring added to the remaster is for? The Sodden Ring. It’s description?
“An artifact from another land. Grants higher mobility in deep water. This ring grants freedom of movement even in the murkiest of waters, but does not remove other dangers.”
So we have two rings, both new additions to the remaster. One is obtained with a new Gold Coin item from Sparkly the Crow, the other is found in the swampy marshes in 3-2. The Sodden Ring is decorated with scales ad has a fish on its crest, and the Ring of Uneven Scales has a tilted scale on its crest. “Scales” in particular seem to be a theme with these two items, and I’m suspicious that this is a clue. But there’s another item associated with scales in the game that is conveniently found in the Swamp of Sorrow: the Mirdian Scale Armor. Here’s its description:
“White metal armour with an inner layer of scale, issued to knights who serve as temple guards. The first temple was built in Mird, a land that fell long ago. Its weight significantly slows stamina regeneration.”
So, could the Sodden Ring have the same origin as the Mird Armor set? Could Mird actually be the mysterious sixth archstone, a land that fell long ago? Hang on, isn’t there an NPC who hails from a far away land, and is also seeking fortune and avoiding conflict?
“You nearly frightened me to death! Creeping up on me like that… My name is Scirvir. I seek treasures of the unknown. I'm impressed you've come this far.”
Scirvir the Wanderer appears in 2-2 in PWWT only, and his dialogue hints at treasures you haven’t yet found. One of these is the Dragon Bone Smasher, also found in world 2 on PWWT at Scrivir’s urging:
“I would search for it myself, but I'm afraid I'd fare poorly against the Demons.”
Scales, treasure-seeking wanderers hiding in caves to avoid conflict, lost sets of armor in the Swamp of Sorrows hinted at by the other treasure-seeking, conflict avoidant NPC, and a scale-themed armor set sold by yet another treasure seeker in the swamp.
But I think there might be one more layer to this set of clues. Scirvir also mentions a temple:
“There is a temple beyond here, below the ground. It is a work of art, molded by the ancient burrowers to appease the bones of dragons.”
The Mirdian Scale Armor hinted that it was worn by temple guards, and though the original was in a far away land, Scirvir knows enough about the temple of the Dragon God to tell you about the Dragon Bone Smasher despite not being from Boletaria. AND Scirvir has one final clue to drop, literally. In PBWT, his black phantom drops the Talisman of Beasts.
“An old wooden amulet featuring a symbolic depiction of the Old One. Can be used to cast both miracles and magic. What was considered a depiction of God was in fact an image of the Old One, portrayed as a force of feral chaos.”
I think this might be enough to conclude that Scirvir hails from Mird, that he has knowledge of the Dragon Bone Smasher because the temple in Mird was dedicated to the Old One mentioned in the Talisman of Beasts description, and that possibly multiple guards of that temple may have also been seeking a treasure of some kind in the swamps of Boletaria, since we find their remains in not just one but TWO swampy areas: the Sodden Ring in the marshes of 3-2, and the scavenged armor sold in 5-2. Patches is also shrewdly aware of this treasure, but besides directing the player to its most likely location in 5-2, he himself doesn’t know where it is. The Ring of Uneven Scales and the Mirdian Scale Armor might also be dropping another clue: the armor is a “white metal armour with an inner layer of scale”, and the scales on the ring are literal scales for measurement. Is this a hint that the treasure can only be found by someone in a White World/Character Tendency?
Sure, this could exclusively apply to the Dragon Bone Smasher- but the remake only-item descriptions have me suspecting that another treasure in 5-2 might exist. There is one location in the Swamp of Sorrows that I strongly suspect might be hiding something, based on another remake-only item description, but I can’t tie it to this other item yet. I’m going to try to get PWWT on my next playthrough and test it out, but I really think there might be something there. We have confirmation of four items added to the remaster that haven’t been discovered yet, so if there are clues in the game, I think these items are the strongest contenders.

Background:
I was 20 in 2014 when I dropped out of College due to mental health… and a lack of discipline at the end of the day.
I left before finals and failed all my classes. My girlfriends dad died that year, my dad was an actively suicidal drug addict. I spent all of 2014 at my girlfriend’s college supporting her through her trauma, or on the phone begging my dad not to kill himself. I felt trapped, powerless, and useless. I ended up calling my mom one night in November and asking her if I could come back home or I wasn’t sure I’d make it out alive (how the tables turn lmao, my bad).
Left college with a 2.4 Cumulative.
Took a few classes at community college and worked as a shoe salesman before finally escaping my self inflicted struggles by joining the Army.
Immediately felt free. Excelled in my job, retook classes through community college at night after work (3.85 GPA), and applied to my commissioning program. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.91 GPA in Finance June 2021.
Since then I’ve had great work experience as a Finance Officer in the Army.
Fun Facts:
I’ve never eaten meat in my life. I like to backpack, bike, and play intramural softball/basketball. I’ve taken off in a helicopter 20+ times, but I’ve never landed in one.

It all started 3 years ago not long after getting plat on spiderman, and after getting the ultimate mode trophy for the hardest difficulty, and also beating ghost of tsushima in lethal+ I was feeling quite big headed.
And being a gamer for just about 20 years and beat a hell of alot of games and bosses all shapes, sizes and by now honed my skill a little bit
So one day even though I tried dark souls many years ago and failed miserably might i add, I decided to try what I hear to be one of the hardest games around...Sekiro.
Well I get pretty good (or so I think) and just took down genichiro after a few days of owning my skills.
So I start thinking to myself how with abit of grinding its not that bad and just like any other game you could probably overpower and win the game by default without much effort......and wow was I wrong.
Now I've come to him....Guardian ape.
After a horrendous fight of being clumsy and having major issues with the poop throwing I make the decision I need items, so antidotes and gourds at the ready I start to learn his attacks a little and after 2 days I finally take him down and praise the Lord and finally run to the door with real joy..... why is it still fog?
The music changes I shit my pants and die swiftly to terror, almost in real life too.
I throw everything in the book at this guy, I use sugars I use divine confetti, I get the mortal blade. I even go out my way (not proud of this) watching videos on how to cheese him, day after day for about 3 months I watched I battled I watched I battled but to no avail.
I was stuck like I've never been before 3 months of pain suffering and finally he broke me.
I gave up.
But! I vowed I will come back to sekiro one day and take him down with a vengeance as he shook me worse than I've ever been, I lost all my motivation and questioned my skill as a veteran gamer.
A year or 2 later elden ring was about to come out and I thought okay let's try souls games again and see what I can do. Not long after starting the builds and weapons just started to click and the game actually became a breeze when I got used to it.
I got plat on ER and was so proud and thought okay I will platinum all souls games and sekiro will be last because of my arch nemesis...guardian ape.
I hone my skills and like the stubborn SoB I am, in order I platinum ER, BB, DS1, DS2 and DS3. All with dlcs included and 2 days ago come back to Sekiro.
So after beating some of the most well named bosses around like Orphan of Kos, Nameless King, Ornstein and Smough, Artorias and Fume Knight i felt I was finally ready.
I was so much more skilled and relaxed this time around, once I got used to the mechanics again I started slowly chipping away at him and after 6 hours total he finally went down.
The nightmare was finally over after 3 years of trauma and questioning my skill I got him and cannot tell you how good it feels!
I finished the fight with 0 gourds, 0 pellets and from the start of the fight because I was sick of farming 0 spirit emblems.
So to anyone out there who is struggling with the game and feels they cannot do it, my message to you is keep trying your better than you think.

Disney has adapted their 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid into a live action film with Rob Marshall directing, Dion Beebe providing the Cinematography, and songs written by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. It stars Halle Bailey from The Lion King and the upcoming The color purple. Also starring Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King from The Lion King, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Raya and the Last Dragon. Last but not least is Javier Bardem from Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Ariel (Halle Bailey), is a mermaid who wants to live in the human world with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King), after saving him from a ship wreck. Ariel’s dad, King Triton (Javier Bardem) forbids it, which forces Ariel to make a dangerous deal with Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), a sea witch.
This version of the Little Mermaid isn’t 100 percent a copy of the original. They have made changes so that the film would stand out from the original. My favorite change was when Ursula’s tentacles lit up, I feel it illuminated her scenes. I thought they should have kept Flounder’s (Jacob Tremblay) color the same from the original film. Here I found his coloring a little weird.
At first I wasn’t sure about Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) due to him not looking like a normal crab but he won me over by playing his part well and delivering some funny lines. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess, so I was extremely happy that Bailey did a great job portraying Ariel. She sang “Part of your World” beautifully. Bardem wasn’t as convincing as he could have been playing King Triton, I feel he didn’t show how angry he was at Ariel when he was destroying her collection of human artifacts. In my opinion, the best performance in this film was McCarthy as Ursula, she can sing and she did an amazing job being menacing yet being someone audiences love. Just like Sebastian, Scuttle (Awkwafina) was funny. The song Scuttle and Sebastian sang together in the palace was really humorous. Hauer-King was a good prince Eric who got a little more of a story this time around. He and Ariel both wanted to explore uncharted places.
John Myhre, the production designer filmed the scenes on a blue screen, and the actors just preformed the swimming movements in the air. This was impressive!. All the scenes looked realistic under the sea. I would recommend any Disney fan to go see this live action Little Mermaid.

I play a lot of games but unsure why this little lore got me emotional. Recently got into FromSoft (Elden Ring, Sekiro and DS).
Started DS a day ago, still on 1-2 boss.
After cutting down two random corpses in 1-1, I realized what I picked up…
It was his daughter’s hair ornament and his wife’s armour (I’m currently wearing that).
When you speak to him initially …

Much sadder if you decline his request to have the hair ornament…
If you say no, he says, “Yes, yes, of course… You are the one who found it, it should remain yours. Hahaha, please, please forgive me. I didn't mean to get emotional. Hahahaha…”
Wtf. Reminded me of someone in my family. When people go through war, they make choices. Some choices you have to live with.
He carries the weight of abandoning his wife and child and he happily takes the weight off your back so you aren’t encumbered.

In this post as the title states, I'll be recapping and giving my analysis on what I noticed with the Dallas Wing's 3rd game today which was against the Chicago Sky.

Part #1 - Offense:
Arike Ogunbowale: Arike single handedly lost the came for the Wings today. If we take a look at her stats, she scored 27 points which was a team high, got 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. However, these stats greatly inflate her performance on the court today. Arike scored 27 points on 25 shot attempts, went 9 - 25 (36%) from the field, and 4 - 12 (33.33%) from beyond the arc. This was a very inefficient performance from the Wings' leading scorer. I know Arike has never really been known to be an efficient shooter and that she's known for being a volume shooter but this game was just another level of inefficient. She was taking the worst shot opportunities starting from the get go in the 1st quarter, which was a foreshadowing of things to come. Pretty much every time that she got the ball, Arike was chucking it up. It didn't matter to her whether there were 3 defenders in the paint waiting for her to come in or whether there was a defender draped over her while taking a jumper. Don't get me wrong, Arike is a fantastic offensive player but her inefficiency and unwillingness to take better looking shots is what's dragging her down as well as her team and it was very evident from this game. There were multiple shots which she took this game were I honestly if I was the head coach, I would have pulled her from the game. One example off the top of my head was about mid to late 4th quarter when the Sky were only up by around 5 to 7 points. Arike brings the ball up the court, gets a screen from Sabally and while the defenders switch and are still near Arike, she ends up taking a one legged contested three and missing everything but backboard. There were many other examples such as rushing transition shots just to get to shot of and taking heavily contested jumpers. I've mentioned before in some of my previous Wings' game analysis posts that Arike just seems to have a constant itch to shoot the ball. Furthermore when she either misses or doesn't get the opportunity to shoot the ball, she gets very upset, which brings me to my next point about her mental game. Arike's mental game is weak. If things aren't going her way or her shots aren't falling, she fails to ever stop and think why that's so. Instead, she'd rather continue taking bad looking shots, which leads to her getting mad at herself and the cycle starts all over again. Honestly, I'm fine with Arike taking 20 - 30 shots per game if she wants to since I know her offensive capabilities. My only thing I wished she'd do if she's taking that many shots per game is to take good looking shots and not force shots just because she can. Furthermore, I wished she also realized when enough is enough. If her shots aren't falling, either stop taking shots for a little, recompose, and shoot again or pass to your teammates. Compared to last game, Arike was a downgrade for the Wings and you'd only know by watching the game since, as mentioned before, her box stats inflate how good she may have looked this game. Overall, she was the primary reason the Wings lost today and I just hope down the stretch that she wakes up and uses her team to its full potential than thinking that she's the only person on the team and that she should do it all by herself.

Satou Sabally: Sabally was most definitely the MVP of the Wings today. She had the best game overall in terms of both offense and defense. She ended the game with 24 points on 9-16 shooting (56.25%) and had 8 rebounds. Unlike Arike, Sabally has a great well-rounded offense. She can take the three when necessary and hit the mid rangers jumpers efficiently. Furthermore, she is great in taking the ball into the paint and getting an easy bucket with her footwork and size. On the defensive end, Sabally also did quite nice. While she didn't really have the stats to back it up, she always provided great pressure against whoever she was defending and secured the defensive rebounds for the team when Natasha Howard was occupied. The offense should run through Sabally more often as she has great IQ in terms of what to do with the ball when it gets in her hands.

Natasha Howard: Howard did decent this game, ending with 14 points on 6-16 (37.5%). Her efficiency, like Arike, wasn't the best but atleast her shot quality was much better than that of Arike's. Furthermore as I've mentioned in my previous 2 Wings' game analysis posts, Howard is being limited in her production as she is using her energy to play high energy roles both on the offense and defense. In a general WNBA, most shots come from within the paint. Therefore for Howard, she's in charge of both guarding the paint and preventing shots from making in that range as well as offensively taking shots in the paint to score. She doesn't really have much other help defensive wise in the paint asides from Sabally sometimes so Howard gets tired easily as she's constantly playing high-level offense and high-level defense. Teaira McCowan still being out is a big blow to the Wings but most importantly to Howard as she is the sole person being relied to do work in the paint for both offense and defense. I definitely think once McCowan comes back that Howard's offense will take a rise as she doesn't have to put that much energy and focus on the defense as McCowans can help her out then. The only issue is however that McCowans hasn't played in the past two games and is expected to miss the month of June to play overseas. If that still pans out, then Howard is going to be in for a very rough month.

Rest Of The Team: I thought the rest of the team offensively did just ok. Dangerfield stepped up this game as well and provided 11 points on 4-8 (50%) from the field. Besides her and the starters however, nobody else scored more than a few buckets here and there. Burton did poor today offensively going 0-5 (0%) from the field and having only 2 points, both of which were from free throws. Then again to be fair, the bench really didn't play many meaningful minutes and Arike was chucking shots so there wasn't really many opportunities to shoot for everyone else. The one thing that I did like was that Maddy Siegriest got a little more playing time today. She score 6 points on 2-2 (100%) from beyond the arc in only 7 minutes. She's definitely a dangerous scorer when she gets the minutes so I'm curious to be seeing how that goes on throughout the season. I thought Siegrist should have been the #1 overall pick in this year's rookie draft going into the draft so I do think the Wings got a steal with her at #3. As she gets more minutes and develops more, I could definitely see her becoming a reliable scoring option off the bench for the Wings.

Part #2 - Defense:
Natasha Howard: Once again, I thought Howard did decent on defense. She was getting outplayed a bit against Elizabeth Williams as she was able to use her height and size to her advantage against Howard in the paint. Howard ended up with 2 blocks and 1 steal in the game. As mentioned previously however, we won't be able to see the full capabilities of Natasha Howard until Teaira McCowans is back in the starting lineup. Howard has to conserve her energy as she's expected to play a primary role in both the team's offense and defense with very little help on the defensive end in the paint with McCowans not there. Especially in this game, Howard looked very tired and the Sky were able to capitalize on this in the second half as they pounded away in the paint on the offense.

Rest Of The Team: I thought the team did alright once again. The Wings' defense was able to lock up Courtney Williams for most of the game which was good. Furthermore, I loved how the defense kept moving around and switching on plays. There were moments in the game where the Wings got help defense in the paint and left an open person for the Sky. As the ball moved around to that open person, the Wings' players all shifted over to the open player until the defense was set up back to normal again. This was a good sign because it felt that the team was playing defense together rather than individual players playing defense at times. Furthermore after allowing Mabrey to go off from beyond the arc in the first quarter, the Wings' perimeter defense tightened up very nice in the second half which is a good sign as well. Help for Howard in the paint is the main issue for the Wings defense so hopefully someone can step up in that regard.

Dallas Wing's Defensive Shot Breakdown: I've mentioned this in a couple of posts but I've noticed a pattern in the WNBA which I call the 50-30-20 rule. Essentially, this means that 50% of all shots taken and points scored by a team are in the paint, 30% of all shots taken and points scored by a team are in the mid-range, and 20% of all shots taken and points scored by a team are from behind the arc. Therefore, I'll be listing how the Dallas Wings' defense affected from where the Storm were forced to take their shots and score their points from just like in my previous game analysis.

Paint: 20 - 39 - 52% of all shots taken and 54.05% of all points scored (not with free throws)
Mid Range: 8 - 17 - 22.66% of all shots taken and 21.62% of all points scored (not with free throws)
3 Point: 6 - 19 - 25.33% of all shots taken and 24.32% of all points scored (not with free throws)

By looking at these breakdowns, we can see tat the Wings' defense wasn't all that great. They managed to allow the Sky to reach the 50-30-20 goals for nearly all the zones, especially the paint zone. There was a slight difference in the mid range and beyond the arc as the Wings forced the Sky to take a little more shots from beyond the arc than mid range shots. However, that's wasn't really that big of a difference. Allowing 52% of all shots taken and 54.05% of all points scored (aside from free throws) in the paint was the biggest downside of the Wings' defense, even if it was a small percent change. Whenever these percents go higher than 50% for the area inside the zone, the defense has for the most part lost. Paint defense is always the most important defensive zone to be taken care of. In this game however, the Sky were able to do better and take advantage of the Wings defense in the paint, leading to the win for them.

Final Recap: Overall, the Wings played just average today. I know there's a lot more potential for this team and it just depends on whether they can make the necessary adjustments and changes. The Sky was also the first "good team" I'd say that the Wings played so far this season so this was a good indication to see how the future games look for the Wings as a whole. The most important takeaways from this game in my opinion are that Arike needs to be much smarter when the ball is in her hands and the Wings need to figure out some help for Howard on the defensive end while Teaira McCowan is injured. The Wings didn't get blown out this game and only lost by 6 points, which is two possessions. Maybe if a couple of Arike's chucked shots were thought through better, the outcome could have been different but we'll never know. After today's loss to the Sky, the Wings are now 2-1 in the season. They play the Minnesota Lynx in two days so hopefully changes can be made accordingly.

This has been happening in Elden Ring. I’ve double and triple checked my specs, everything is at or above the recommended requirements. My laptop is plugged in, in performance mode, and I have everything prioritizing performance over everything else. Even with all that the FPS fluctuates horribly between 49 and 31. Now if it was consistently bad frames I’d just call it a day but every couple of minutes, in even what should be the laggiest areas in the game, my FPS will jump to a stable 60 for no reason. Even on the highest settings it does this, runs smooth as butter for a couple minutes, then goes back to mid 40s for another few minutes and it does this like clockwork. Nothing I’ve done can keep it in the 60s manually. Changing the graphics does absolutely nothing to make it better, heck it doesn’t even make the game run worse. I’ve had just about everything nonessential closed in task manager, cleared out storage space, I’ve gone into my system settings to make sure EVERYTHING is working for system performance and that still hasn’t made it any better. At this point I’ve just about lost my mind and I’m completely out of ideas.

So I recently bought a used PS4 copy of Elden Ring off a friend and I did the steps to claim the free PS5 version and downloaded it. Only problem is it still wants to download the PS4 copy of the game every time I boot up the console or put the disc in it but I don't need it since I already have the PS5 version and don't want unnecessary space taken up. Is there any way to stop it from downloading automatically or am I basically forced to have 2 versions of the game installed at all times? Thanks in advance.

Not only is he making great plays on the field and producing for the team, his advanced stats are incredibly promising for him to keep this up. I have no idea how Harris was able to do this, but he turned an afterthought trade into a possible franchise star

Story Brief: I play a chaotic evil character, rest of the party tries to abandon and murder me on sight, then blames me for being everything wrong with chaotic evil when I defend myself.
Yeah.
This was a very long time ago on a play-by-post site that you've never heard of; I think the site was called mydndgame.com? I checked, but that domain is up for sale as of the time of this writing so if that's what it was it sure didn't last very long. With the story I'm about to relay to you, I can't help but imagine why that might be!
I am uncertain how this party came to be but we were a group of five, all apparently some flavor of autist. The campaign was in the Dalelands of Toril (I think that's right?) and we were all starting at level two. The party composition was a human ranger, a half-orc bard/barbarian (bardbarian!), a dwarf paladin, and my character was a human wilder. For those unfamiliar: wilders are the charisma version of the psion in the same way sorcerers are to wizards, except that wilders are actually really good as you'll learn later.
Our first quest was to clear out a den of orcs who have been doing Generic Evil Bad Guy Things to our starting town. Knowing the reputation that chaotic evil characters tend to have I laid my intentions on the table very early in an attempt to allay concerns. Ashley was chaotic because I want to take the Pyrokineticist prestige class and Evil because she just really likes burning shit. Seeing as I rolled very well on my mental stats (int 16, wis 15, cha 19; the GM was using 2d8+6, IDK why) I felt that Ashley would be very friendly, amicable, and also neurotically aware of her situation. In her own words: "I can burn human villages and be hunted as a villain, or burn orc villages and be paid as a hero. The choice is obvious; we're having barbeque porkchops tonight!" The players acknowledged this and seemed to be mildly enthusiastic.
Thus we get to the actual roleplay.
We keep it simple, start in a tavern and introduce our PCs. The bardbarian and dwarf are having a drunken arm wrestling contest and regaling each other with tales of their machismo ("I once suplexed a polar bear off a cliff!" "Reminds me of that time I gave my coat to an orphan girl and had to walk through a blizzard for eight hours warmed only by the celestial hearth of my god!"). The ranger and I enter town from opposite angles and meet up at the bowyer's shop; he's buying a bow while I am having my crossbow repaired after I got a little overenthusiastic with my last Fire Ray. The ranger is immediately distrustful of my wilder; I don't know why, but "grizzled ranger wilderness man" is such a classic trope I don't think much of it and we end up entering the tavern together.
Shortly after we are all in the same ingame space together, a big ol' royal guardsman or soldier or somesuch enters the tavern and calls for mercenaries. The others answer the call, while my wilder listens from the corner given that she's not best friends with the law. We are told of the orcs and the troubles they are causing on the road, and that parties who like gold and killing orcs ought to prepare to embark with him in the morning. Yeah, I thought; Ashley likes both of those things -- one is a good target for fire, and the other buys resources she can use to make more fire. I feel Ashley is not likely to volunteer without her weapons on her -- she wouldn't be taken seriously! -- so I narrate how I'll wait an hour for repairs to be completed and approach the group then, since we have until morning.
Ashley goes to get her crossbow, returns -- and the party is gone. So much for waiting until the morning.
I make some quick Gather Information checks (I had the intelligence so I sprinkled cross-class ranks into K:nobility and various social skills) to figure out what happened, then set off at a brisk hustle to follow.
Upon catching up with the party, the ranger immediately fires an arrow at my wilder.
Ranger: [to the party] "Heh, can never be too careful." Wilder: [hiding behind a tree] "Whoa mate, check your eyes; I am not an orc!" Ranger: "Just because you're not an orc doesn't mean you're friendly!" Bardbarian: "She could be a highwayman, be careful." Wilder: "We met in town, remember? I was the one who suggested yew for your bow!" Ranger: "If you're friendly, why are you hiding? Show yourself!" Wilder: [Comes out with hands up; pointless gesture since I can kill people with my brain, but they don't know that yet] Dwarf: "I use detect evil." Wilder: [Is evil! And also has her imp patron following her without being aware of it!] Dwarf: "She's evil. Get her and her demon friend!" Wilder: "Wait, why is Char here? According to my backstory he- WHOA!"
Ashley is wearing a chain shirt, has 17 dexterity, and won initiative so she has her buckler out and is using Total Defense so her AC is... high. She danmaku-grazes through two sling bullets, an arrow, and two darts.
Wilder: "Please calm down! I just want to kill orcs with you and get paid!" Dwarf: "We don't work with evil people!"
Another round of Touhou dodging ensues.
GM: "Round three. Ashley's turn." Wilder: "I said CALM THE FUCK DOWN!"
I activate my Wild Surge and expend my psionic focus on my Psionic Shot feat and launch my Fire Ray at the ranger's bow. 5d6+5 damage.
Ranger: "You bitch! I knew you were bad news the moment I met you!"
They keep fighting...
I down them all in a single shot each. Including the level six NPC guardsman who attempted to intervene once it became clear that the party couldn't roll above a fifteen to save their lives. I suggest to the GM that the fire cauterized their wounds so none of them are actually dying, but he's a very RAW person and declines while pointing out that I was throwing entire virtual fistfuls of d6s. The entire party ends up bleeding out because -- surprise -- the chaotic evil character didn't think to put any ranks in Treat Injury. Ashley gave the fallen PCs the most respectful sendoff she knew -- burning their bodies in a massive forest fire -- while speculatively wondering how that scene could have proceeded differently and not at all subtly hinting to the GM to rewind so we could take the scene again from the top.
The response to this was to start making the usual noises and ALL-CAPS POSTS about how I'm an edgelord and chaotic evil PCs should never be allowed and I'm terrible and awful for destroying their equipment and getting mad when they attempted to blah blah blah. I don't need to tell you what they said. I was just astonished, refreshing the page throughout the day as they rant and rave, all the while thinking to myself "I have Asperger's syndrome and even I can read the social cues better than these nutters."
They weren't even good roleplayers. I was throwing out paragraphs and they were writing two-liners. The ranger didn't even end his posts with periods. So when I refreshed the page and found I was banned from the game, I couldn't help but sigh in relief. What could I have even said to these people to justify myslef? "It's what my character would have done?" Because it actually wasn't; I was trying my damnedest to hold her back in spite of all possible reason to go full bore on the strangers trying to murder her!
I'd still love to play Ashley again sometime. I think she has a lot of potential as a character to explore what it means to be evil, how evil is often perceived by others, and how even good people can work with evil in pursuit of a greater goal.

So I created, and bought 5 packs of cards (55 in each) and a custom box for each deck.
I will be giving 4 players their own starter deck of cards and the box. They will all start with 13 cards and given a list of all potential cards they can get. It’s going to be introduced to them early on in the campaign.
In short this card game is like Yu Gi Oh but the rules stripped to insanely basic terms. Attack and defense stat and you have 3 action points to use in a turn. Some weaker cards only cost one action to summon and attack. Higher cards are more expensive AP per turn or you also have to sacrifice a monster. Blah blah blah whatever.
Basically I’m setting up a mini side quest that can be thought of throughout the campaign… to collect “them all” a La Pokémon.
To gain more cards the player will either have to beat an NPC at the game or they’ll gain a card if they defeat the monster on the card.
I know for a fact a few of the players will love not only the collecting aspect but also the actual playing of the card game. The game is made to take 5 minutes max. It’s supposed to be super simple and quick to not take up too much time (so it’s also a tiny unbalanced but it is what it is).
For sessions where we don’t want to spend a ton of time on card games or maybe one of the characters doesn’t really want to play the card game but still wants to “collect” cards any ideas on how I can “simulate” a game so they can still “battle” without having to actually battle?
I was thinking simply a roll of the dice but that seems a little almost…too random? Maybe the answer literally is that simple but just wanted to see if someone else has ran a card game inside the DnD game or if there was a different interesting mechanic I could add for them rather than just a simple dice roll.

Disney has adapted their 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid into a live action film with Rob Marshall directing, Dion Beebe providing the Cinematography, and songs written by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. It stars Halle Bailey from The Lion King and the upcoming The color purple. Also starring Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King from The Lion King, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Raya and the Last Dragon. Last but not least is Javier Bardem from Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Ariel (Halle Bailey), is a mermaid who wants to live in the human world with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King), after saving him from a ship wreck. Ariel’s dad, King Triton (Javier Bardem) forbids it, which forces Ariel to make a dangerous deal with Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), a sea witch.
This version of the Little Mermaid isn’t 100 percent a copy of the original. They have made changes so that the film would stand out from the original. My favorite change was when Ursula’s tentacles lit up, I feel it illuminated her scenes. I thought they should have kept Flounder’s (Jacob Tremblay) color the same from the original film. Here I found his coloring a little weird.
At first I wasn’t sure about Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) due to him not looking like a normal crab but he won me over by playing his part well and delivering some funny lines. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess, so I was extremely happy that Bailey did a great job portraying Ariel. She sang “Part of your World” beautifully. Bardem wasn’t as convincing as he could have been playing King Triton, I feel he didn’t show how angry he was at Ariel when he was destroying her collection of human artifacts. In my opinion, the best performance in this film was McCarthy as Ursula, she can sing and she did an amazing job being menacing yet being someone audiences love. Just like Sebastian, Scuttle (Awkwafina) was funny. The song Scuttle and Sebastian sang together in the palace was really humorous. Hauer-King was a good prince Eric who got a little more of a story this time around. He and Ariel both wanted to explore uncharted places.
John Myhre, the production designer filmed the scenes on a blue screen, and the actors just preformed the swimming movements in the air. This was impressive!. All the scenes looked realistic under the sea. I would recommend any Disney fan to go see this live action Little Mermaid.
