Challenger Andres Campos feels disrespected by IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards, referring to him as a “Chilean rat” ahead of their fight this Saturday night at the OVO Arena in London, England.

The unbeaten Campos (15-0, 4 KOs) plans on getting even with the newly signed Matchroom Bioxing fighter Edwards (19-0, 4 KOs) to take his IBF 112-lb belt and make him sorry that he chose to fight him. Promoter Eddie Hearn is really high on Edwards, believing that he’s got the talent to become the undisputed champion at flyweight in a rapid manner. Hearn is already in the planning stages to match Edwards up against WBO champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez in his next fight this year, and then WBC champ Julio Cesar Martinez in early 2024. Campos could throw a wrench in the works by upsetting Edwards to spoil the grand plans that Hearn has for him.

What's the best in-game weapon per category, like AR, Shotguns, SMGs etc. for well-aiming players?

Hi there! As the title implies, I’m looking for the best bird to give my mother as a retirement gift. She has always adored birds and will talk for hours about how much she loves them, their colors, their personalities, but especially their sounds. As she’s retiring and will have the time to care for one (and this is not a surprise! She asked for my help in looking for a bird as she has no idea where to start, and to be fair, neither do I lol!) I thought I’d come here to ask for advice. As mentioned she’s looking for a bird that will sing for her, so I originally thought of getting her some finches, however she is also looking for a companion so I thought maybe a parrot would be better. So far from my personal research an Indian ring neck seems like the best choice, but I don’t know if they bond with more than one person (my father would also want to interact with the bird) or if they’re good for someone of her age. What are your suggestions? I refuse to get her a cockatiel as we had one when I was young that hated everyone except my father, and ended up attacking her when she was cleaning the food bowl, so she doesn’t want to relive that. Other than that, I’m open to suggestions!

I recently started playing the game, and I'm trying to avoid reading too much of the wiki to not spoil myself the game.
Anyway, I accidentally sumonned the Brain of Cthulhu, and fled with a recall potion almost instantly. I currently have wooden armor, and my best weapons are an enchanted wooden boomerang and the Undertaker (with around 50 bullets).
I'm assuming that I am not yet prepared to defeat it. What gear should I prepare to fight it ? Should I avoid it altogether for the time being ?

TL:DR: Advice on a relationship broke off by family and not necessarily the two people in said relationship.
My ex was "implicitly" forced to choose between her family or me as if she stayed any longer with me, her home environment would most likely worsen if her mothefamily knew that we were still together. We are both 17.
We had our ups and downs, like any other relationship, but we were happy for the most part and managed to resolve issues quickly, but it really started to snowball after a mutual, minor, one day break and my ex relayed some perhaps exaggerated information (I don't know what was actually said but it must have been worse for the mother to hate me. At the time I said that I was thinking about taking off a day and thought about it for a while, she interpreted it as me thinking about leaving while spending time with her) to her mother which she told her parents, further worsening the whole family's image of me.
Last week goes by and within that week my girlfriend and I go out some days and we settle down (the last time seeing was Friday), but the family was still, of course, not a fan of me. On the Sunday, I was out with my friends and I get a text saying that she got in trouble for something and she pinned it on me in a moment of panic (which I completely understand knowing what her mother is like). The mother kicks her out and within that time she had took down all the photos of us without her knowing/asking and has acted quite neglectfully around her house, so we both felt that it was best to break up to stop things from being bad to worse. The mother was adamant on ringing me or just getting into contact with me and we came up with a plan to stop her from doing so. This instead did more damage and cemented the end of our relationship.
I am heartbroken, she was a big part of my life, seeing everyday at school and outside of school, and I am left with a part of me ripped out. We both still love each other and I feel that I am obliged to check on her every now and then if she has nobody else to do so. I miss her so much and I have dreams about her, I hate the way it ended but it was mutual and the loving thing to do for her. I have also had given myself proper time to take up catharsis with walks and music. I understand things will eventually get better, but I just need some clarity on how to proceed and some advice from some people that have possibly gone through the same thing. Lately I’ve been thinking that I might have ADHD for a number of reasons, but I noticed that when a videogame (because this happens only in them) has some kind of character customization I feel umconfortable a) using a combo of gear that I’ve seen already being used by someone b) if the game has skins, even if I like the skin itself if it’s from any media that I don’t consume I think I don’t deserve to use it.
For example, playing Geometry Dash, I really want to use a skin that some youtuber already uses, but since it’s something that I’m copying from someone and not that I thought by myself I won’t use it, and the ‘conflict’ stays there.
Or, I’ve been recently playing fortnite, and at the time there were in the store Dragon Ball skins that I really liked, but since I don’t watch DB I end up not buying them because I think it’s not for me or I don’t deserve it.
And with Elden Ring the same. I know that you can create a character larping of Guts form Berserk, but I’m not a berserk fan, so I can’t use it, it’s not something that I thought of by myself, I don’t deserve to use it

Context

Hello, so I’ve had an interest in this girl who I’ll call Melina (Elden Ring reference lol). So I’ve been interested in Melina since 3rd grade, and I am currently in high school so it’s been a very long time. She is my first real interest however in all these years I’ve never worked up the courage to make a move or even talk to her. The only times I ever talked to her were for school reasons (School projects, etc). Other than that, the only times I ever see her are when I walk past her in the hallway, during lunchtime occasionally, during some classes, etc. The weird thing is that I’ve had other interests throughout the years but I eventually lost interest in all of them, except for Melina. In fact I’ve only become more interested with her as the years pass by, even though I barely even see her and never talk to her. The truth is, this is a little embarassing to say but I’ve never been with anyone romantically in any way, and in my mind she HAS to be my first relationship. I don’t know why but I firmly believe I will win her over one day and marry her. But I can’t even talk to her yet so we’ll see how it goes. The main reason I can’t work up the courage to make a move is because i’m not particularly attractive. I mean if I started putting in effort I could look good but as of right now, she is definetly way out of my league on an attractiveness scale as well as a social hierarchy scale. She’s one of the most popular girls in my school and I’m a complete and utter loser that can’t even look her in the eye.

Recent Events

Alright now that the context is over, let me talk about the events that have happened recently, because it has been VERY eventful. So about 2 months ago I decided I was done waiting and I want to begin making a move, my original plan was to befriend her first, and show her how good of a guy I am, and then make a move. However something happend. So like I said this was 2 months ago, I thought to myself “Why not be open about my interest?”. I was thinking that if I didn’t try to keep it a secret then maybe that could remove a lot of the awkwardness. I wasn’t going to tell her explicitly, I was just going to tell my friends and some other people at school and my idea was that word would eventually get to her and if she reciprocated feelings then she would approach me and if she didn’t like me back then she would just do nothing and BOOM i just shot my shot without any of the awkwardness or riskiness. But this went very wrong. So I started telling people about it and word spread extremely quickly, way quicker than I ever expected.Fast forward a couple days and I’m eating my lunch with my friends and I see her with her friends on the other side of the cafeteria, and SHE LOOKED AT ME. Like we literally made eye contact for a split second until I quickly looked down. This was exhilirating, like literally my heart started beating quickly and I told my friends what happened. They looked back and she waved at me. Like bro when I tell you I had such butterflies in my stomach I’m not joking. Anyways after school on that day I gained some confidence, word had obviously spread and I knew that she knew I liked her. So I decided to send her a text, so I said “Whats crackalackin?” and she said “No” I was thinking for hours and hours of what to send until I finally landed on a funny meme that was kind of edgy, it’s the kind of meme I would send to my friends. So I sent it and she left me on read. Then the next day I sent another hilarious slightly weird meme and she replied with “Oh”. I don’t know if that’s bad or good but a response is a response so I was happy. Anyways after the next day I was in lunch and all my friends were egging me on to go and talk to her but I couldn’t do it. I chickened out and eventually I look up and I see her and her friends walking towards me. I instantly pick up my bag and run as fast as I can in the opposite direction. That kind of thing happened a lot, she would be near me and I would run away full speed, this happened like 3 or 4 times. Eventually she waved at me one day and I waved back then ran away. Some days pass by and I find out that she screenshotted my texts with her, and pretty much the entire grade had those screenshots. People started greeting me with “What’s crackalackin” and it was slightly embarassing. At this point the entire grade knew that I liked Melina. I tried texting her some more but then she eventually ended up blocking me. Like 2 weeks pass by and I send one of my friends to go ask her to unblock me. Eventually she actually unblocks me and I haven’t texted her or talked to her since.

By now I had regretted not keeping it a secret, I wish I just kept it a secret and did my original plan: befriend her, workout and look better, show her I’m a good guy, then make a move. That’s how most people do it, but now I’m on max difficulty, cuz she knows I like her and it just sucks cuz I don’t know where to go from here. It’s also worth mentioning I don’t share any classes with her this year, but since summer is approaching, next year I was hoping to share atleast 1 class with her so I could try talking to her and advancing from there. We are also going to have a school play and I think she will sign up so I was thinking of signing up too. So far that’s my 2 plans but other than that I got nothing.So here we are, what should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated because this is my first real attempt at pursuing a girl

I’m needing some insight for my sister “Jane,” and her son, “Zach,” who turned 16 on 5/8/23. Zach spent some time in DYS for burglary, but was released in early 2022. Since his release, he has been on the up and up and trying to stay out of trouble. However, the local law enforcement has been stalking and harassing Zach and his mom since his release. Jane has been followed to and from work. Officers have sat outside her place of business and her home multiple times. A 19-year-old boy went "missing" in April. The police showed up at Jane’s house when she wasn't home, and attempted to search her house for the boy without a warrant, stating they believed Zach was responsible for his disappearance. Jane’s older son refused to allow the officers inside without a warrant, and they continued to threaten him with a warrant. The missing boy was home the same day he went missing, and had no connection to Zach.
School Resource Officers continued harassing Zach during school. On 5/10/23, they interviewed Zach and his mom regarding and instance of alleged harassment Zach was present for. They weren't able to pin anything on him, and he was allowed to go to class as normal, Jane went to work. Later that day, they arrested Zach for alleged graffiti in the school bathroom. He was immediately taken to County Juvenile Detention 2 hours away, where he has been in solitary ever since. At the first court appearance, the Judge ordered him to stay in custody. No proof or evidence has been provided, in fact, they refused to provide any proof until the trial. Zach has now been in solitary 2 hours from home for almost a month. He finally has a trial date set for 6/22/23, but his public defender is not being very helpful, and just told him to plead guilty, and said he would never be allowed to re-enroll in school in his town, and would be required to enroll in an alternative school in the next town over. His public defender is saying he doesn't think Zach will be allowed home unless he does this.
Jane is low-income. She is a single parent, who was married into an FLDS community at a very young age, which she left in 2011 [Zach’s father has done time in prison for SA against his wives]. I'm trying to help her the best that I can. I hate that my nephew is sitting in solitary like this. I've been reaching out to local attorneys to ask for pro-bono assistance with this case, as Jane cannot afford attorney fees, but I’ve been hitting dead ends. I’ve also contacted the ACLU with no response.
We are located in Missouri. And Zach and his family are white, because that seems to matter in our Justice system. 😑

Hello everyone! Hello! Welcome back to my journey through this series on book seven now. It's been, what, two months? I'm pretty excited to get back into it. Lord of Chaos was quite the trip. I loved how it was getting much more into the political realities of ruling these very different people. And what an amazing, explosive, finale with the Battle of Dumai's Wells. Wow. That was one of the best fantasy battles I've read, I think. The Ashaman making their first appearance on the battlefield was truly something. They are far more powerful and deadly than anyone could have foreseen. How will the world react when they learn of the Ashaman and their deadly, all encompassing destructive power? And how will Elaida react when she learns of what happened? Or the rebel Aes Sedai? No longer are they the most powerful people on the block. The Ashaman defeated them, laid them low. Rand could probably take on the White Tower itself now, though I doubt he really wants to do that.

We're starting here with Elaida in the prologue which is a good idea, much like how we started with her at the beginning of the fifth book. She's getting a nice little summary of events to get us, the audience, up to speed on what's going on in the world, again, much like the fifth book. She's gotten word that Rand has been captured. Of course she hasn't yet gotten word that he's escaped or what the Black Tower can truly do. She only sends fifty sisters after them, a dangerously low number, but she's underestimating them.

I do like her reaction to finding out that the rebels made Egwene the Amyrlin. It's a pretty bonkers move and I like her reasoning. They are only doing it so that, if they lose, Egwene can take the fall and the others can pretend like they were just being mislead. Not that Elaida would believe that if that's what they actually did.
​
She is struck by a foretelling and sees the White Tower whole again, so she assumes that means she wins. Of course, that could also mean she's going to lose. So, you know, who knows?
​
We then go to Sevanna as she's losing the battle pretty badly. We get to relive this pretty crazy battle scene yet again from a different point of view, essentially. It's just kind of recap. Still, it's a great battle, not going to deny that. She's also holding the fact that several of the other Wise Ones killed another Wise One over them to control them. I like that.

We see Alviarin taking commands from Mesaana. I can't recall if Mesaana has played much of a role in the books up until now. I don't remember her in the books at all until this point, tbh. So nice to see a new Forsaken doing things. She's apparently hiding amongst the Tower. Mesaana also teaches Alviarin how to open gateways, which is kind of a big deal. Not sure why she did that.

There's the inevitable conclusion to Morgase's incredibly stupid and out of character action of going to the Children of the Light. This is the only plot that I do not like from Lord of Chaos and I continue to dislike it here. By not following his best interest and immediately executing Morgase on the spot, as he should have, Pedron Niall gets himself assassinated. I can't really say I care too much. Should have seen that one coming. Eamon Valda takes over after his part in the plot and it's hard to take any of this part seriously because it shouldn't have happened because Morgase shouldn't have done this incredibly stupid thing.

Finally we see Gawyn trying to survive with his little group of Younglings and fighting a little skirmish with surviving Shaido. He also spots a sister who survived, so he's going to try to make it back to the White Tower.
​
Starting the book proper, we're still in the aftermath of the battle. Unfortunately we're with Perrin, but that's ok because nothing very interesting is happening anyway. I like the set up here of this group as a powder keg. There's all these wildly different groups that absolutely do not like each other, in some cases, hate each other. The Two Rivers people, Mayeners, Cairhienin, Aiel, Wise Ones, Aes Sedai, and Ashamon. They all glare at each other wish suspicion. I'm wondering if this will all explode in their faces without the unifying force of their loyalty to Rand. They may still kill each other.

There's also the interesting point about the Three Oaths that I remembered talking about before. The Aes Sedai NEED to be in danger to fight. They can't harm someone except to protect their own life. Thus the Aes Sedai walked out into the battle so they could fight, disobeying Perrin's orders. I like that it's spelled out here and it makes me wonder if, perhaps, we're going to be talking about the idea of the Three Oaths and their place in Rand's empire. I doubt he's going to have anything similar with the Ashaman. Perhaps he'll want the Aes Sedai to do away with them entirely. The rebel Aes Sedai already can't get anyone to swear to the Three Oaths without the rod, so perhaps, if they win, they just simply won't bother.

Rand decides to give control of the prisoner Aes Sedai to the Wise Ones rather than the Ashaman, probably because he doesn't really trust other magic users right now. The Wise Ones do have the ability to use magic, but they don't feel like they're magic users because they don't use it very much. He also has Alanna heal him because, counter-intuitively, she is the one he can trust the most. Because she non-consensually made Rand a warder, she has a vested interest in making sure he doesn't get hurt so she doesn't get hurt herself.
​
Mazrim Taim wants Rand to have a full Ashaman as a guard and Rand chooses one at random, seemingly. I like how Taim tries to talk him out of it, but it only deepens Rand's resolve to choose him. I wonder how much of that is reverse psychology. Taim has to know that Rand doesn't trust him, so arguing against him only makes Rand want to dig in against him.
​
So that's it for now. Not a super exciting start, but it definitely does the job: gets the principal characters and world events in place, reminding us of what's going on. And also dealing with the immediate aftermath of that explosive battle. The effects of the battle will be rippling out to the rest of the world soon, I'm sure, and they will have pretty huge, long lasting impacts. I'm excited to see where that goes.

Probably the universally agreed most frustrating aspect of Master Mode back in BotW was enemies having built-in regeneration. I can see the mechanic as a bit of necessary evil, a means to curb overly passive and "cheese" play. It's not uncommon for devs to ramp up difficulty by forcing players out of their comfort zones and discouraging safe strategies. The idea is fine on paper but they nosedived the execution into a radioactive pit. Why the fuck am I getting punished for using two-handed weapons? Sending enemies flying just gives them a regen window for no explicable reason. I expect regen to make a return in TotK MM, so how can it be improved?
-Regen numbers lowered or standardized: pretty straightforward, although I can't claim to know the best numbers to hit the right balance of punishing yet fair.
-Enemies can't regen while in ragdoll state: forcing aggressive combat does not mesh well with not being able to finish my attack combo because it'd send the enemy rolling down a hill. This applies specifically to the "knocked down" state and not other forms of CC- I think regen was designed at least in part to counter freeze/shock.
-Fire counteracts regen: there's many ways to implement this, like having it delay regen or "cauterize" the max regen limit available. It would be a very nice and sensible buff for the weakest element.
That's all I've got. I'd love to see more suggestions and opinions. I do not expect any of this to make an impact so it's just for fun and criticism.

KAMPALA, June 8 - The HIV/AIDS treatment centre in Kampala is almost empty, days after Uganda enacted one of the most draconian anti-gay laws on Earth.
"The LGBT community in Uganda is on lockdown now," he said.

At the Kampala clinic, run by local charity Icebreakers Uganda, medical officer Tendo said he understood the fears of LGBTQ people in Uganda who often endured painful lives, featuring rejection by their families and arrests.

I just wanted to post this idea and get some thoughts from the community.
I think Patches bears an unknowable, ancient, and infinite curse that keeps him from ever dying, even if the entire universe he is in gets snuffed out. He'll just wake up in another one, doomed to exist truly forever and ever, perhaps for rubbing the wrong person the wrong way. I like to believe he has even been responsible for linking the fire as well as putting it out at some point in his existence, both in an attempt to end his eternal suffering, though neither worked. I like to think Patches was a good man, who lost himself over the course of his endless life and in an infinite number of dimensions. He has given up on breaking the curse, and instead embraces it. Now, he finds purpose in the meaningless and absurd. He entertains himself with tricks and sees death as quite inconsequential, and thus will kill seemingly virtuous people because in the end, they'll all die before him anyway.
I would love a Patches anime, reminiscent of the Silver Surfer cartoon in theme, but with more comedy, having him travel across the worlds and universes of Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Armored Core, Sekiro - and maybe even some other small cameo worlds in reference to Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Hyrule, etc. - all the while making friends and many more enemies, playing tricks, and looting for the rare chance of a sentimental keepsake he will take with him to the next world.

Me and my ex broke up coming up on two months ago. Our relationship was not healthy. She treated me worse than any of my other girlfriends. She showed no affection whatsoever. She would never say thank you for any of the sacrifices I made which included supporting her 100% financially when she lost her job. Her response was “well I didn’t ask you to that” when the option was either that or she’s homeless and her bills go to collections. She wouldn’t make eye contact with me even in a deep conversation, she would just look at her phone. I planned a $4k beach vaccination that she wanted and my father helped me with the down payment because I had to pay $7k in hospital bills after being rear ended last year. She never said thanks for planning it just claimed I was using “daddy’s money” when I made an agreement to pay him back once my settlement came in and even told her this. She would get mad at me for calling her at or to and from work as if I was bothering her when I would ask her how she is feeling because she was having a rough pregnancy. She would always answer the phone saying “what” instead of “hey.” She punched me in the face in a fit of rage after I grabbed her phone when she recorded me saying maybe we should get an abortion because she thought she could use it against me. She then lied to everyone including her parents claiming it was self defense. Luckily I have ring camera footage that proves she lied about this but her parents won’t watch it but instead hate me. She called me a dumb fuck, a loser who looks like he wouldn’t get laid, saying I’m going to be a shit father just like my dad, calling my brother a loser that needs to get laid, and telling me to put my mother in a home when I said I would let her live with us if she needed me as she gets older.
Anyways, I tried to convince myself for so long this was pregnancy hormones. She’d eventually cry and break down crying after she said this stuff saying she doesn’t feel well and she (in her own words) knows she is being a bitch. I was so forgiving of everything even after she punched me in the face. Well, it got to the point where she’d apologize then the next day act so mean to me all over again. Finally after finding some very strong evidence that she was cheating on me, I lost it and told her no man would want her and to get out of my house. That no man would want to live with someone like her who slept with a ton of guys on tinder right before me. She lost it and moved out the next day. I know that a mean thing to say. Her past doesn’t bother me but in the moment, I wanted to get to her because of all the times she hurt me. The thing is, I feel bad about saying that to her. She said so many mean things to me and I forgave her so many times. I just let my emotions get the best of me and after how many times I forgave her for all she said and did to me, I still feel like the bad guy. However, the price of other MOBOs such as B760M variants (B760M H / B760M POWER) and B660M GAMING are just 20-30$ higher.

I finished reading the six most recent volumes of the Sawyer spinoff, Dismemberment Galore! The Gore Gore Girl, a month ago & have re-read the various chapters of course, and pretty much all the chapters are fantastically well done. There are no spoilers in this I promise, I will describe why I liked certain chapter(s) but not actually detail the plot; I will mention new characters' names but nothing about their history (I will spoiler tag the new names though). An interesting difference I noticed between Rei Hiroe's Black Lagoon manga & Tatsuhiko Ida's spinoff manga is the background subject that they usually use to encompass their stories. Hiroe usually uses the subject(s) of military and history/politics, whereas Ida uses the subject(s) of folklore & popular culture (for example, American/British/Chinese/Slavic folklore; also using aspects from household-name horror movie/novel plots a few times).
Another difference between the two manga is the length of the stories, i.e. Black Lagoon is organized into arcs (13 total), while Dismemberment Galore! The Gore Gore Girl is primarily centered around one-chapter stories with just 4 arcs in total which make up a third of the current 45 chapters (the arcs being chapters 18-20, 24-28, 33-35, & 42-44). Before you ask, the spinoff series is NOT in English nor pirated into English, I was able to read the chapters since I possess the physical copies.
Like the main manga, the spinoff contains excellent female characters besides Sawyer, Shenhua, and other women from the original series. Five new women in the series that are pretty cool and mysterious include Bunny the Undertaker, The Undertaker No. 2, Jessica, Baba Yaga, and Jacqueline. I do wonder what Hiroe thinks of the new recurring characters, I know that he reviews the spinoff chapter manuscripts & checks for correct names as part of the spinoff collaboration. My only guess regarding new characters is that Hiroe possibly had a hand in naming Sawyer's new cleaner assistant Chop Top.
Another important difference between the main manga and the spinoff is Sawyer's communication. In the main series, Sawyer uses an electrolarynx to speak (although she does not use it in "The Wired Red Wild Card"), but in the spinoff she is not seen speaking with her electrolarynx once (despite a voice box shown only a couple times), so she solely communicates via nonverbal communication (facial expressions and body gestures). At best, her only mouth-related noises stem from vomiting or expressions (i.e. voiceless panting, whimpering or a sigh), no [electronic voice] words.
In general, all chapters stand out in their own way, but certain ones are great because of the new characters & their occasional progression(?) in becoming closer to Sawyer, others due to their action/comedic plots, and all chapters have a fantastic art style. There are two omake (in volume 1 & volume 3), and there is cool bonus art of characters in volumes 1, 2, 3 & 5. Sawyer basically belongs to 2 families, her first "family" with Shenhua & Lotton, and then her second "family" of her recurring friends in the spinoff. Those 2 families have not interacted with each other yet, so that would be an interesting turn if it occurred in upcoming chapters. Here are chapters that stood out and/or I really enjoyed in particular:
Chapter 02: The Shadow Over Roanapur (cool chapter through and through)
Chapter 05: A Quiet Place (if you liked Black Lagoon chapter 115 New Girl in the Hood Part 2, you'll enjoy this one)
Chapter 09: Basket Case (Sawyer & Dutch chapter)
Chapter 12: The Fog (involves the Rip-Off Church so just my favorable bias toward the church characters lol, great chapter)
Chapter 14: Gloomy Sunday (good story, touching ending)
Chapter 17: Enter The Fat Dragon (cool Shenhua chapter)
Chapter 19/20: LIGHT MY FIRE & In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (good first arc that really piques the reader's curiosity about a new group of antagonist[s])
Chapter 22: IRON MAIDEN (funniest chapter in my opinion)
Chapter 23: A Mad-Tea Party (chapter leaves you with questions in a good way)
Chapter 28: The Ring (twist after twist & interesting ending to the 2nd arc)
Chapter 29: Big Trouble in Little China (cool fight/team-up)
Chapter 31: SWAMP THING (fast-paced action; the drawing & pacing are arranged so well that you can actually hear the chapter & weapon noises as you read)
Chapter 34: Nosferatu (interesting villain and awesome action/fight, great Sawyer family chapter)
Chapter 35: Stranger Things (like the title, truly strange to say the least)
Chapter 39: Fetish (definitely the most unnerving chapter; horror is one of the genres after all)
Chapter 40: Copycat (good Sawyer & Lotton chapter)
Chapter 41: The Wraith (good Sawyer family chapter, somber tone in parts)

If you truly wish to learn about characters & chapters in the Sawyer spinoff manga for the time being (in English language), your best bet is to check out the spinoff chapter & character pages on the Black Lagoon Wiki. FAIR WARNING, those articles of course contain spoilers; read at your own risk. If you somehow even find it worthy to do (I wouldn't), you could get the physical copies & read by using image-text translation or knowing Japanese, or better yet find a pirated version if/when accessible.
For the 19 original Black Lagoon characters that appear in the Sawyer spinoff, all but Sawyer's wiki page have the respective Gore Gore Girl history section on their character pages (AGAIN, read at your own risk of spoilers if you so choose). Several spinoff charactechapter pages are still being added to the wiki, and the remaining pages should absolutely be finished by the end of June.

Repost as there was a glitch in last attempt
I’ve been with my gf for 6 months. She broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years around May /June 2022. His name was Adam. She proceeded to date someone named Mike as a rebound (these are her own words) until around September 2022.
We met online in December and we are long distance. I see her for one week once a month. I’ve met her family and they adore me. We are both middle eastern and dating is usually for the long term. She’s stated she’s truly in love with me, that I’ve treated her better than everyone else she’s met and she’s made efforts to send gifts, be thoughtful and verbally/physically show appreciation. She FaceTimes me every single night and she voluntarily shared her location with me. She has not posted me on social media yet but she plans to in a week when I see her again.
My gut feeling, which could be due to paranoia, is ringing alarms and waving the red flags based off her previous relationship with Mike. She directly said she saw no future with him and that she was just with him to move on from Adam. Once she realized he took the relationship very seriously, she broke it off.

She still likes his pictures and it seems like she might still have some feelings there.. she has a hidden folder she’s showed me with hundreds of pictures of them together. I asked her if she would delete them and she said yes. She told me she deleted all pics from 2022 but there are so many that she doesn’t have time to sit and delete which I understand.
My head is spinning because on one hand she says she’s deeply into me and she talks about our future but on the other hand I’m seeing these red flags or maybe I’m just being paranoid? Please help me. I feel as though if he comes back around one day she will drop me for him. I am not feeling as though I lack anything, I’m accomplished and attractive and she always tells me I’m the best she’s ever had but these red flags torment me. conclude this?

In my youthful teenage years (15-16) my family moved to many new areas. In one of these new areas a new horror awaited me... I made a few friends in this new area, we'd hang out in the local park or the adjoining street.
Over time we'd attract the attention of two girls, these two girls would always be in the background or following us from behind, eventually they joined our group and one of them handed me a romantic 'i fancy you' letter that was supposedly written by her friend but was actually written by herself, i honestly thought this was weird and that both these girls were a bit odd
One of the following days we'd all be hanging around in the park, the girl who wrote the letter was being a bit flirtatious and decided she wanted to play-fight/wrestle with me, i didn't mind, i kinda lifted her up, put her on the floor, it was all very normal and we laughed about it after.. That was it for now..
A few days letter i hear a knock on my door to my surprise it's two plain clothes police officers who wanted to have a chat with me :/ apparently i was being too friendly with this girl and i needed to back off, i responded with something along the lines of WTF! and don't worry i'll never speak to her again.. If it ended just there, i wouldn't be writing this now... At the very same time i was speaking to the police, this girl was out there telling everyone i knew in the area, everyone but the police that i raped her :( me, a boy who was still a virgin (and still am to this day) was being accused of rape
Over the next few days i had friends coming to me asking if i did rape her and obviously i defended my name , i told them how she was weird, also if she had the confidence to tell everyone on the streets, why didn't she have the confidence to tell the police. She probably wanted attention, how she often followed our group and gave me a romantic letter that she claimed her friends wrote but it was actually her.. My friends believed me...and things died down.. This should've been the end of it..
A few months later my father had a falling out with the landlord, he had been renting the place to us illegally and now once again it was time to leave for a new house in an area many miles away , this new place would become the nightmare area i described in a now deleted post i wrote few day ago. New area was dangerous, friends going down the drug/prison path , my mental health was going to hell and i would've ended up dead or prison if i carried on hanging out with these friends or even leaving the house
Just before i embraced the hikikomori life, i thought I'd go see my old friends from my previous area, it'd been a year or so since i seen them. Going back was huge mistake. It was night time i was wandering the area looking for them, i found one of them, he lead me to the local kebab house where many people were socialising, suddenly one vaguely familar girl points at me and shouts 'that's the one who raped her" i was then surrounded by people and physically attacked, nothing i said to the drunk attackers made a difference... After that i walked to the hospital to get my jaw checked out and then i walked home.
That's pretty much the end of my story. In recent days i made a new FB account but quickly deleted it, i made the account just so i could chat with my sisters, i even used a fake funny name and put a korean man as my profile picture, i only added one of my sisters then i noticed in my find friends recommendations was the bastard girl who accused me of rape, why is she appearing in my find friends list i wonder, does she want to apologise or cause me more grief, I've never had her as a friend on FB, has she been searching my name on fb all these years, does the fb algorithms know its me because im using the same email as last time i was there...
I'm met with a flood of emotions, anger, hate, sadness, confusion and the desire to confront the bastard woman who put me through all this, i start panicking and delete my account .. Is confronting her a smart move? Or best to leave the past in the past

It's fantastic seeing Callisto finally being loved the way it should. As someone who pre-ordered and was happy with the experience despite the performance flaws, it was painful watching SDD and Callisto get shit on by everyone who didn't actually play it, and now, reviews are going up, new players are coming in, it's great! Finally logging in to the subreddit and mostly seeing positive posts is one of the most heartening things.
That said, as a pre-order buyer, I also hot to experience the harder day 1 version, before all the changes to the gameplay that made it easier. Thay day 1 edition was the most fun and challenging version, and it's painful that as someone who loved that version, I can no longer play it without downpatching my game. Please, bring back that Day 1 edition in some capacity. I'm not even begging you to change all the campaign difficulties and eliminate the easier updates, just give those of us who actually did think the day 1 version's difficulty was the best version.
You can see it all over the sub, too. People saying the game is too easy, that all you have to do is waggle the stick and dodge, or that it's easier to kill yourself to end riot mode than to die to the enemies. Day 1 edition would give all players something new to try, and it would be a nice reward to those of us who were here at the start.
I dont know how hard this would be but if you do, please keep it exactly the same, including where enemies used to be placed, let enemies deal full damage from anywhere they hit you, allowing enemies to attack all at once instead of one at a time or at most a small group, have enemies actually attack from behind instead of repositioning you for you, including the harder dodge that can fail, slower reloads, having to swap weapon frames from small to large instead of it being automatic, and of course, the older version of the melee combat that felt heavier. Maybe do it like Resident Evil's professional mode, warn players this is the hardest experience, that dodging will take a bit of skill, and that enemies hlcan attack in groups. Just please, don't fully give up on that version of your game. Callisto was the most fun and unique survival horror experience in some time, and while it's still fun and unique, the day 1 version had a whole other feel to it that just isn't replicated by anything else, even the hard-core or riot modes.
