I wrote with a guy a few days ago and we having a fun time since now, and he asked me a few messages ago if I live alone or with my pet's (cat's), alone or with a partner. Guess who didn't read the message right.
I only read the pet's part and didn't focused on the rest of the message, and I missed the time to tell him that I'm poly. So today was the day I told him that i miss read the message and I have a partner (26M) and we're living together and having an open relationship and I'm poly. only a few hours had passed by when a few soldiers had carried one of their brothers into the infirmary after he had been stabbed in a close combat by the enemy. there was a lot of chaos and the nurses had the most difficult working conditions, basically surrounded by loud noises from the war as the enemy had gotten close enough to nearly overrun them.
one of the nurses, a fairly young and rather inexperienced woman was told to take care of the soldiers stabbing wound. as she approached him and opened her medkit he could see her hands shaking. she must be terrified if not traumatized by the horrible sounds that seemed never ending. the soldier felt bad for her. a young, absolutely breathtaking looking woman shouldn’t be here and experience this. he was so captured by her frame that he even forgot about the actual reason why he met her, and that was his bleeding wound. the nurse was preparing a shot against the pain for him and he could see her struggle so he decided to take over. “it’s alright..I’ll do it myself” the soldier said in a gentle voice compared to all the aggressive sounds of their surroundings and he took over the needle, injecting it himself. maybe distracting her would help a bit, so he kept trying to approach and communicate with her. “will you look at me please? just for a moment? I believe it will help me with my healing process” this really wasn’t the right time for jokes or lighthearted conversations but he didn’t care if it meant he could see a smile on that beautiful face...
with a few small complications they had managed to stitch him up together. but it was probably too late for the both of them already. all of a sudden the infirmary was filled with screams full of panic and fear. people were running around, storming out and fleeing. the soldier could assume what was going on, the enemy had made it over the border and he knew running away would be difficult all on his own. good thing he was pumped with pain killers to numb both the pain and his mind. “we can’t stay here, come on.” as much as he needed the rest, he couldn’t allow himself to do so, so he got up and grabbed the nurses hand, pulling her with him... —

Hi, I have an Ender 3 S1 with a sonic pad (Klipper). I am not happy with the Webcam functionality. I had a pi running octoprint and it was great. I could check on my print anytime on my phone and it was full frame streaming. Also time lapse worked great. Sonic pad? Not so much. I saw the Beagle Camera but it doesn't support Klipper yet. Apparently they are working on it. So I wondered if I could use the Beagle just as a stand alone wifi webcam with it's app. Seems it does wifi streaming and time lapse. I just would need to use it without the USB part of it. Then if/when klipper is supported, I can just plug into that. Will this work?

i need assistance conceptualising how a non-euclidian/weird far realm dungeon would work
sooo a player has derailed my campaign in a major way XD. i enjoy when this happens however it does make me feel like Gromit laying down rail tracks. especially to keep it to the same quality as before which was either pre-written or planned well ahead.
upshot being that i need to make a dungeon for my players with a 2-3 weeks to prep. which is both great and bad. its a good amount of time, but i cant justify to myself half assing it.

Hello there,
My question might be a little long-winded, so please bear with me. I’m in a state of confusion here. It also contains a lot of women’s biology questions.
A couple of months ago, I had a bout of PMDD (basically an extreme case of PMS) where I suffered random but awful depression, suicidal thoughts, fatigue, manic energy, etc. I’m already an anxious person in therapy, so this really spun me out. My doc put me on Prozac 10mg to help. I was nervous to start it, but when I did, I just started with a quarter dose, then went up to a half around my time of the month, then I went back down to a quarter after about 10 days. The quarter seemed to be working great, I had less anxiety and felt happier.
Since I bumped it back down though, I started getting more and more depressed. I had brain fog, I had no motivation. The day that spooked me the most was when I didn’t even feel like eating because I felt like no point. I was so scared, I went to therapy to talk about my sudden depressive state and bumped back up to the half a dose but it hasn’t helped much after about a week of being back on the half. I’m still depressed, more anxious, more fatigued. My doctor wants me to quit immediately and take Zoloft instead - I don’t want to do that. I kind of wish I had never taken it.
What should I do? Should I stick out the half a dose? I know messing with it was a bad idea, but could anyone PLEASE help me? I’m so desperate.

So I have a standard 4 bar rolling bassline. My workflow includes essentially one MIDI clip looped and repeated throughout the song. I would like to automate the first note only, so that only it gets louder over time. I know this is possible if I have the first note of the bar in its own MIDI track, but I am wondering can this be done without having to do this?

Hi everyone,
even though I am young(24M), I had a period in which I had low libido. I have been together with my gf for 6 years.
How it happened? I had issues with money(at one point had -negative in my savings, no credit though), dropped from uni as I didn't see the point, worked jobs I didn't like or just staid unemployed as I wouldn't get hired and had started to eat VERY unhealthy foods. Often McDonald's or delivered pizza. During this period I became very overweight, managed to add 35 kgs or around 70 pounds of pure fat "gains".
I had numerous talks with my gf about my low libido. What hit me was when she told me she was starting to feel me more and more as just a friend due to my libido. And when I say hit me I say hit me really really hard. She had a great point - I was constantly rejecting her, always coming up with excuses... And like that for a year or longer.
I got motivated to get out of this misery after our talk. I realized I had to focus and stop neglecting my life. That I had to fix myself before I could fix us. I got a certificate and started doing very well in my field. I started paying attention to what I eat. I also started working out as much as I could. Nowadays, I even make at least 15K steps/day.
After I started taking care of myself physically by working out, started eating way better, which gave me actual energy - my libido instantly jumped up. It took me like 2-3 weeks of doing this. My libido went through the roof in comparison to the year before that. 1 year and a bit later and I am -15kg(around 30 pounds) lighter and counting! Once I also got the career question sorted out - it was a further boost. My libido is now back to where it was before and it feels unreal. Mind you, I am still way overweight and have lots of work to do, but the healthier lifestyle gives me a lot of energy to work with.
I hope that this could give you some hope for better days and a potential solution. It is quite possible your partner has low libido because of an unhealthy lifestyle. If you notice any of the things in your partner I had problems with, try to convince them to just try for 2-3 weeks to eat better and do a few workouts per week or just walk(5-7K steps/day should help). And by eat better I don't mean to tell them to instantly cut off everything bad. Just at least one of the meals to be healthy(preferably dinner as I'd guess this is when you will try to initiate). Also, a big killer for me I hadn't realized was overeating - so, they need to pay attention to this as well.

I've been using the Reddit Android app on my tablet, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to manually select and translate comments. I'm hoping someone here can lend me a hand.
Normally, when I browse Reddit on my desktop, I can easily use a translation tool to understand comments in different languages. However, on the Android app, I'm unable to find the option to select and translate comments manually.
I've tried tapping and holding on a comment, but it only gives me the options to upvote, downvote, or reply. I've also looked through the settings, but I haven't been able to find any relevant options to enable comment translation.
If anyone knows a way to manually translate comments using the Reddit Android app on a tablet, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. It's frustrating to come across interesting discussions in foreign languages and not be able to understand them fully.

This week I served as the liturgist for my church, service had a little less than two hundred attendees. I was so honored to serve, and I had great conversations with many of my fellow laymen and women after the service. Yet, I couldn’t help but notice I was the only person between 18-35 there. There are some young children, and a smattering of teenagers. I love my church so much, but I really worry that sagging in my demographic is going to create huge problems in the not-too-distant future.

My Vietnamese boyfriend and I have been in relationship for 3 years since we were university students. He’s 23 years old, and I am 24 years old (Japanese). We’re both working in Melbourne, Australia. He’s an engineer, and I’m a bank employee.
3 months ago, we travelled to Thailand for vacation and had great time there. After coming home, I realized I got pregnant. Both of us didn’t expect having baby.
Our parents were shocked.
Last week, our parents came to Aus and discussed solutions. His parents want me to move to Vietnam, give birth to the baby and live there. His dad will give us a nice apartment in Hanoi. He wants my boyfriend to work in a Vietnamese car company. His mom said she would help me to get a job in a Vietnamese bank or a foreign bank ( I have no idea how she does that, bc I don’t speak Vietnamese fluently, I just started learning Vietnamese a year ago). My boyfriend just explains his mom works for government and has strong networks. They also confirm our kid will study in international schools in Hanoi, when he/she’s old enough. If I agree, we’ll have wedding after our kid is 6 months old.
My parents suggest we give birth to baby in Aus first, then move to Vietnam. They’re worried about my own future.
I love my boyfriend, and I wanna get married with him. But living and raising kids in Hanoi makes me concerned. I expect our kid has good education in future. I don’t want to be stay at home wife. I want to go out and make money.
Are international schools good in Hanoi? I hear that they are very expensive. What is like working as a foreigner in a bank in VN? I may prefer a western or Japanese bank. Is salary good? Do people speak English in the office?
Pros of living in Hanoi: we will own a house. Cost of living is lower.
Cons: our kid may not have the best education.
Pros of living in Aus: living environment is much better. Kid may have better education. Both of us has Australia’s permanent residence, so our baby will have too.
Cons: we may never own a house lol. Cost of living is high.

Hello! I have never posted on here before but need advice from others who have been in ldrs PLEASE. I’ll try my best to supply all details and feelings.
Essentially I am wondering if this relationship is something I want to continue to pursue or if the distance is getting to me.
So my current bf and I(f) are both 25, we have been doing long distance since Nov 1st. I’d known him for years but was caught up in another relationship that was really terrible for about 4.5 years off and on. Anyways that ended Christmas of last year and my current bf and I kept bumping into eachother during July and eventually went on a date at the end of July. The date went super well, immediately had feelings and started hanging out nearly everyday and dating three weeks later, he really showed me how you were supposed to be treated in a relationship. The only thing is he had planned to move to NZ in November, which we both acknowledged and both decided to continue seeing eachother until he left. I always knew he was going and I did my best to support that decision, I never said anything about trying to change his mind or any that. He was an amazing bf while here, my parents loved him he was kind attentive supportive my family and friends loved him. Anyways so he moves and had decided that we should breakup because the relationship won’t be as it was, the level of care or energy he can give me wouldn’t be the same and he felt that was unfair. Which is great and he was right because we kept talking but the time change and life changes, I was not really getting a lot of support. He’s very outdoorsy and stubborn and wouldn’t like to text and often would tell me he wouldn’t be on his phone in a polite way but discouraging none the less and we would call once a week but with the time change it would be on his work break and my bedtime. It’s just hard and I felt like an afterthought. I didn’t realize I felt this way till I went there and saw him for a month in April and there was this disconnect between us. He wasn’t as kind or gentle, we eventually talked about it and chalked it up to him being there and needing to take care of himself not really having a space to have his guard down. Super hurtful btw will give more info on this if someone needs. Rest of the trip went great. Then I came home and I’ve had a knot in my gut. He wants permanent residency there but doesn’t know if he will stay there forever. I KNOW and have said I don’t want to live there bc my family is in Canada. So going into this his visa was two years now he’s looking to extend, and the next time I’ll see him I will have to go there again. He would like me to visit for 4 months(which is a short amount of time) but won’t be coming home at all and has no plans to. Where he’s staying in NZ is an hour away from the closest grocery store, he has roommates, and no wifi (I am in an online masters program which is why I need it). I have recently brought up my feelings of anxiety over it all with him, but ultimately don’t know how I feel about this all. I’d like to be able to just go but I also don’t want to be isolated and completely reliant on him. Help if anyone has any advice or thoughts I’m eager to hear.

When I was at school (12m at the time) there was one autistic kid that would always do weird/harmful/annoying things to me. Sometimes it was small like spreading rumours. Other times it would involve him attacking me.
All the time it was unprovoked and I would never do anything about it because the punishment for hurting a spec ed kid is severe. The teachers would do nothing as he is “Neurodiverse” so no punishment would not be given to him. Often he would attack me infront of a teacher and no action would be taken.
One day, I was lining up for geography class and he randomly tugged on my blazer repeatedly and said, “Give me milk, give me milk.”. He then tried to lick me. I blocked his face the first two times and then a teacher came. She told him to calm down and then left. I tried to call her back so she would do something but she didn’t return. Meanwhile, the kid sticks out his tongue and slowly drags it across my chest saying, “ Milk please”. I felt his tongue slowly trailing along.
This made me crack. He at the time was 5 foot 3, I was 6 foot. I am a practitioner of MMA ,even at that time. Specialising Muay Thai and BJJ. I knees him in the groin, bashed his head, and then threw a roundhouse to the neck. While he was dazed I floored him and put him into an armbar. He was screaming; tapping like mad. I heard a teacher coming and, with great speed, stood up. She asked what happened and I told her that he fell. I helped him up and whispered a threat to his ear. He never snitched.
