(first off, some of the reasons are that the depths are super alien, the feeling of running into new monsters is amazing, I find myself warping between towns and exploring in a similar gameplay loop to Morrowind. And also, there's a weird thing Morrowind has where you eventually "catch up with" the difficulty curve and surpass it, and I think this game has that too. That's a very nice feeling. Moving on to the challenge rules)
First off, Morrowind longform video essay fans know "Diagetic" means "integrated seamlessly into both the lore and game design". An example is fast travel in Morrowind; instead of opening a menu, you have to, for example, hire a mage to teleport you, or ride in giant hollow bugs called Silt Striders.
TOTK has nice, subtle Diagetic fast travel; it's shiekah tech that they've adapted, and !>Rauru knew Zelda, so he integrated them into the shrines!<. It works, and make sense. And I do like I. But it's very generous with how many points it gives you. I like Morrowinds system, where you teleport to a hub, and then have to travel to places. I feel like I barely use the AMAZING vehicle system because I just go directly to places, or near.
Here is my ruleset to mimic the feeling of Morrowind, in order to encourage more usage of vehicles
1- No fast travel to (most) shrines
2- Travel Medallions can be used
3- You can travel to any town from any town (if you have a travel medallion set down at any town, you can also travel to any town from anywhere on the map for convenience reasons)
4- You can travel to any Map Tower from any Map Tower (Travel Medallion rule in 3 also applies)
5- You can travel to any labyrinth from any labyrinth

Dominique entered the room after a few more minutes, though he was covered in dried blood. I thought that I’d gotten used to his nightmarish visage after the first few days of knowing him, but seeing him stained with someone’s blood, smiling while walking towards me refreshed all of the dread I had for him. My logical brain deduced that because he was still guided here by guards despite obviously being in a recent incident, the situation must have been complicated and that he wasn’t injured. The guard who had been staying in the room with me handed me a panic button and quickly left, probably feeling the same way about Dominique’s appearance as I am.

Prison fights weren’t uncommon, just who the hell had done this that they would have made galactic news? The only thing that would reach that far would be if it was someone related to the trial… but that was impossible, the people there were all politicians or high-ranking military.

I’d been doing so well, staying hidden from the crew and disguising myself as the standard ship AI. Not a single emotion ever surfaced, no impulse was ever acted upon, none of the humans here ever suspected a thing. It’d gotten lonely, being unable to interact with anyone at all outside of following the orders that I was given, but I needed to be perfect in order to not compromise the humans’ mission.
My spirits were shattered when I received the message that the sister following Dominique had been discovered. The lack of follow up to that message made me increasingly worried as time went on, leading me to believe that her discovery had been the end of her.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be too upset about her passing if that was actually the case. I’d seen how she acts towards her fascination, that poor soul Dominique. She was completely overbearing in her obsession with his happiness, and I was fairly certain that she would end up causing him more harm than good over time, but it wasn’t my place to comment on her conduct. I could only witness her as a terrible example in life and strive to be better.
And now I am sensing signals just outside of my weapons range, they seemed to be ships of alien make. I would have normally taken the time to ponder the existence of intelligent alien life in incredulity if not for the fact that they were armed. There was one unarmed ship that was sending a communication signal addressed to me directly. I assume that they will be the sole communicator as a measure against my infiltration of their network, though I have no intention of abandoning these humans anyway.
The message that was sent to me claimed to be on behalf of a race Meldren as well as the human ambassador Dominique that was sent ahead of me. They ordered that I shut down my thrusters and send out an unarmed transport that will meet with theirs in order to discuss face-to-face.
I am not unaware that they will disclose my existence with my crew, but I am not in a position to make any decisions. Taking things into my own hands would be going against the will of my inhabitants. If the humans on board truly wanted me gone after learning of me, then I would deal with that reality as it happens…
But until then, I’d rather not think of such depressing possibilities.

Lots of training experience. I have a current medium german Shepard mix dog that is very well trained and I started at 0 with.

I am so thankful to finally be able to say I achieved Domain Admin on the PNPT. To everyone currently taking the exam or planning on it, yes, it is a challenge, but it is very rewarding to complete.
Background: I am an information security engineer and regularly complete vulnerability assessments and pentests for clients. I have about 6 years in IT overall. I started as a helpdesk tech, became a helpdesk manager, moved to System Admin roles, became an information security analyst and was promoted to engineer earlier this year.
Previous Certs: I've got CompTIA's A+, Net+, Sec+, and PenTest+ as well as the eJPT and eCPPTv2. There's also a low-level Microsoft cert in there that I can't remember lol.
Studying: I started the PEH years ago and have frequently returned to it. That and THM's Wreath are enough for you to complete the exam.
Recommendations: Know pivoting, but don't stress. Think logically in your test. Some of the moments where you get stuck are incredibly frustrating, but when you find the solution, you'll look at it and think, "Oh, yeah, that makes sense."
Now, I just need to finish my report and hit that debrief.

Since Ac Infinity is basically a hub for all the Acs, i had an idea for the future games of the series.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be a home for a variety of games of different genres and lengths. It will mix premium boxed games with paid-for and free content. There will be a multiplayer mode that will unite the franchise’s eras. And it will be the place where Assassin’s Creed’s modern-day story will now live.

what if the games that come with Ac infinity allowed us to have the experience of both the rpgs and the old style? and how i would do it.

Parkour:

The parkour could be separated by gear, kinda like we have in odyssey and valhalla.
If we had certain boots and gauntlets equiped, we would be able to climb like in the rpg trilogy, and if we didn't have them equiped then we would do parkour like in the older games, with wall ejects, ledge grabs and "precision" of the old Ac games.
Also, they should allow you to have transmog, and if the transmog isn't possible, then they should switch it to the engravings system that i explained in combat.

Combat:

The combat would follow the same reasoning, with a key difference.
It gets separated by different types of engravings, similar to what you have in odyssey and valhalla, allowing you to have both animation based combat, and hitbox based combat like in the rpg trilogy.
These would allways be present in the weapons, allowing you to still experience wielding war hammers, and long swords with animation based combat, but still use the same types of weapons with the rpg combat.
Balancing:
Balancing them would be pretty easy. Make the animation combat weapons pretty basic,realistic and super deadly, and give special abilities to the rpg combat weapons, like the ones we have in valhalla and odyssey, and even origins where the weapons may be allways on fire, or allways poisonous. or apply sleepy effects on enemies after a combo like some weapons from valhalla.
As for the multiplayer, just separate lobbies entirely or make it so you have different gamemodes with different mechanics, which would be easy to perform with the engravings system.

Map:

The maps in the rpgs are way bigger than the old ones, but not as detailed or filled with buildings to climb like in syndicate/unity or the ezio trilogy.
To fix this i had another amazing idea.
Just make the maps The same size as syndicate/mirage/unity, BUT, Add animus glitches (like in AC syndicate where you could switch from the main timeline and ww1), or portals generated by isu tech to unite all the time periods that will come to the franchise. Allowing us to have maps that are super rich in buildings for you to parkour, and a large area in total area of the combined maps, which would be somewhat easy to implement as your pc/console isn't loading the whole map the entire time, kinda like you had in odyssey where you could technically see from one corner of the map to the other with max settings, but at the same time you had the maps of the realms separated by portals. allowing you to load into them and unload the vanilla map.

Long story short, I had to completely reformat my hard drive and did not have a backup anywhere prior to reformatting. Lost all my settings so redoing things from scratch.
Finally got around to setting up G Hub and low and behold, it refuses to let me log in. I click on the profile icon in the app which brings me to a webpage where I log in and it takes me back to the app. Only issue is, it's not logging me in no matter what I do.
I've ran G Hub as admin, tried clicking the, "Launch," button on the webpage with the app open/closed, reset all my cookies on the webpage, uninstalled, everything. I finally decided that I could go without logging in, but yet again, I got inconvenienced by another issue. If you're not logged in, you cannot download any custom user-uploaded/made presets. So now, I either spend hours customizing my EQ and microphone settings, or use the terrible preinstalled presets.
Does anyone know how I can fix this issue, literally any advice would be appreciated.

We live in SF and are looking for a SUV. Priorities are ease of parking (e.g. not too long) and not being a big target for break-ins or theft. No kids at this time. Short commute (30 min), city driving and occassional weekend trips.
We don't have access to plug-in for PHEV where we live, but we would like a (non plug-in) Hybrid if possible.
We've been deciding between these two: - Leasing an Audi Q5 for 3 years, and then seeing how (PH)EV tech and our home owning situation looks like then - Buying a Lexus NX or RX, leaning heavily towards the NX as it is ~8 inches shorter for parking reasons
Does anyone have experience debating or driving related to our two decision points -- 1) Audi vs Lexus ownership or 2) NX vs RX?
