My maxwell for xbox arrived today , great build quality, very comfortable and weight is not noticeable due to headband design. Sound quality is superb, music is incredible, warzone is now great but wasn't woth stock eq and dobly atmos app. I have adjusted the eq and set DtsX to spacious on the xbox and Foot steps are nkwbspot on and very close to my turtle beach stealth pro and over all a better sound . The stealth pro are going back as I have too many issues with them like no dedicated chat/game mix , connection issues with xbox and low volume issues which means I have reset the headset to fix that issues each time .
Problems I have already with the maxwell are ..

I've been with a seed startup for 2 yrs, and weathered a brutal storm that included half pay, no benefits for 3 months so far. Now we just secured a lead investor for a fundraising round, and their contribution alone gives us 2 yrs of runway at our regular salary (which is 30-40% less than my market rate, no discussion about benefits) starting in 1-2 months. I also anticipate we will easily find other investors - there were many lined up but nobody wanted to be the lead. I am 100% confident our idea is solid, novel, and that it will be the way of the future. The main question in my mind has always been are we too far ahead of our time, or too out-of-place because of the bad economic climate for startups.
That said, I've received a verbal offer to work for one of the Big 4 as something equivalent to "senior consultant." I don't have the written letter, but I expect the pay to be 70% higher and I expect they will offer health insurance and 401(k) benefits. It will be a ton more work, but should also open up many more doors for me. Also, I actually like working and I have been feeling frustrated in my current role because there isn't enough interesting work to keep me growing in my career. In addition, the new job offers a clear path to leadership, which is important to me. In the current job, the CEO has promised me leadership opportunities but he's been fairly deceitful/strung us along quite a lot on a few matters so his word doesn't mean much.
I know, I know...the choice seems easy. But here's the catch. This Big 4 has been silently issuing major layoffs this year...it's all over their subreddit...and along with me they are hiring about 20 more people with my job title over the next several months to a year. I would be working on gov't contracts. I'm really afraid they're over-hiring and I'll get laid off within a year. I know I need to jump in willing to give 300% and compete against all these other people with similar job titles. I think I can do it. But I'm worried that won't be enough.
I'm good at saving money. That said, I did plan to buy a home and I'm a little scared...but I want to move forward with my life. I'm worried I might make the wrong choice by "following the money" and should instead stay with my startup. That said, this team is fairly difficult to work with and it's unclear how long I'll have to wait until I have real leadership opportunities, and also maybe even if I get laid off from the Big 4 company it wouldn't be so hard to find a new role. I'm scared because it took me 8 months and 230 applications to land this one role. It's hard to be on the job market all the time. I'm also worried that I'll be stuck networking within the Big 4 company and the government agency...which won't help me when I do get laid off and need to find other work. But I'm also reluctant to walk out on this company because I know our idea has a ton of market value. It's almost like AirBnb in the sense that it's so obvious but at the same time everyone said nobody would feel safe staying in another person's home. I have setup a task, where I start playing the media player, when the phone is connected to the car stereo. This works so far.
But there are situations, where the phone should be connected to the car stereo, but without to start playing. For example when the FM radio is on or similar things.
Are there some standard events I can listen with Tasker, which are send only when I switch manually or automatically to the connected phone from within the car, instead of using only the Bluetooth connected event?

Hello, I just booked a flight to the Philippines for next February and its a 3 week trip. I've read a bunch of reddit posts and I see so many different opinions on what I should do.
I definitely want to make it to Palawan and go to El Nido and maybe Coron at some point through out my trip. If you were going to the Philippines for the first time how would you plan your trip? I would obviously like to get see everything but that just wont happen.
Here is what I have so far-

Recently I got a new set of bluetooth headphones. I've got them to pair with my computer, but I fear it doesn't recognise them as an audio device.
I'm a little bit tech illiterate, so apologies if this description isn't enough, but here's some basic quirks I've noticed
-When the device is paired in Bluetooth and other Devices, it doesn't use the icon of a headset, but a generic icon for Bluetooth Devices. This is unlike other bluetooth headphones I've had
-In attempts to find other situations like this, I've noticed it's often suggested you go to the Service tab of the Bluetooth Device. This device does not have a Service tab.
-The Device does not appear as an option to connect either on the Notifactions Tab or under audio devices
The model of the headphones are HS-920BT Genius headphones.

I have tried posting this multiple times, hopefully it works. Tried other subreddits and people were very unkind so I'm apprehensive to even talk about this.
2 and a half years ago I lost a manthat I loved my whole life. We were separate for a while but we have a child together and stayed in close contact even when we were "off." We got back together right before he died.
When he passed I was completely shattered. I could barely function. I was given a necklace with his ashes that some other family members also have. I was so extremely grateful for this. The past few months I have finally started trying to rebuild my life instead of wallow in my grief. I reluctantly let someone into my life. It's very difficult and the guilt of feeling like I'm leaving him behind haunts me.
Since seeing the person, I started having strange things happenwith the necklace. The clasp would seem broken and come off but when I looked there was nothing wrong. One day it opened on its own and some of his ashes spilled. I sat there terrified and confused and hyperventilated for a while. I then took the blanket that the ashes fell on(only a small amount spilled) to the ocean and said a prayer while I soaked it in the water. I could stand the thought of part of him being in the washing machine or running through a sewer. Anyway, keep in mind that this urn necklace has a rubber piece to keep it from twisting open. I've examined it and there is no way it could have been from getting knocked around (I wore it religiously). Then, about 6 weeks later, I noticed two very unnatural looking cracks in it that exposed the ashes. I stopped wearing it and put it up somewhere very safe.
I felt very conflicted when I started seeing someone. I took the necklace of whenever I was close to this person because it felt like a disrespect. I still feel wrong and even check out when I'm being intimate because of the extreme guilt and feeling like I'm disrespecting his memory. I feel like moving on is forgetting him.
In my other posts, the comments came from people saying I basically wasn't worthy of wearing his ashes because I wasn't "family." Or I was trying to replace him. That made me so physically sick. This man was my family. Losing him has gutted me completely and changed the trajectory of my life irrevocably.
There have been other experiences, too. Some I won't mention because it's too hard to differentiate through my grief it its him or my mind and guilt. I feel like he is with me and sometimes I feel like he is angry. Sometimes I feel love. Right after he died I felt fear and confusion that weren't mine. I just want to know if he is lost and if he is how to help him. Is he angry with me? Should I leave this person? I just want him to be OK and at peace

Hello. I am a new Buddhist here and I had a question about attachments. Particularly attachments to other people.
I met this guy around September 2018 and we were ‘friends’ for around 7 months. It was basically a very strong attachment built through spending all of our time together or on the phone. Since I stopped being friends with him, due to him being a bit manipulative and controlling. I have managed to stay clear of him physically but mentally I feel like I built such a strong conceptual version of him.
I find myself constantly thinking if he would approve of certain things or what his opinion would be. I even dissociate from reality through having imaginary conversations with him about how life is going.
It’s unhealthy I know. And I’ve tried to have symbolic moments that are meant to represent me “cutting him off” but nothing works. Even when I have other friends or even date other people I still think about what his opinion would be about these people.
Is there anyone with advice on this? I’m kinda tired of this. I think the only reason I’m attached is due to it feeling like he was the only person who was capable of understanding me- or at least that’s what it felt like- not sure if that was something he would fabricate for the sake of the connection.

TL;DR: Monster is a jealous cat who wants to be part of the clique.
To recap my original post: Monster is an adult cat I inherited from my mother and has been living with me for about 5 1/2 years. He howls incessantly, but particularly in the middle of the night. He has woken me up at least once almost every night since he moved in, and I've been almost literally pulling my hair out to figure out what his problem was.
The past week or so has featured an almost-completely howl-free Monster.
In addition to my two indoor cats (Football and Monster), my house is regularly visited by a couple of strays and some outdoor cats belonging to my neighbor. These include Diamond, Oreo, Other Diamond (looks just like Diamond but isn't), Cinderella, Thor, and Scruffy. I've got varying degrees of trust with them, but Diamond shows up at my doorstep every morning. She is often accompanied by Oreo and/or occasionally Scruffy. We have a morning routine where I fill a bowl with fresh water and give each of them a little food and a couple of Greenies treats. This routine always happens after I feed and water Football and Monster; they have their own water fountains and get their own food.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed that Monster follows me to the front door and watches while I feed and water the outdoor cats, and when I give them Greenies he starts meowing for some. So I started giving him one or two as I come back inside. After he gets his treats he goes back to his bowl and eats his own breakfast.
Part of my evening routine is to retrieve the outdoor cats' food bowls to wash them in preparation for the next morning. Usually this is the last thing I do and when I'm finished I'll sit on the sofa and relax for awhile. In the past when I've done this part of the routine Monster starts howling and won't shut up about it. Thinking back to the treats thing I started giving him a couple of Greenies after I finish washing the bowls. Since I started doing this he comes up and sits next to me on the sofa, loafing himself and staying quiet. He'll occasionally poke me for petting but otherwise he's pretty chill. Even more recently he's started coming into my bedroom at night right after I lay down, to get a few minutes of petting before he leaves again. (He's not a snuggle cat.)
So it seems all the world that he just wanted to be part of the same routine that the outdoor cats have. He's often been given treats of his own, but only after I started giving him treats at the same time I gave the outdoor cats treats has his behavior been different. If I feed the outdoor cats, I have to feed him. If I fill the outdoor cats' bowl with water, I have to refill his fountain. Hey all. It's me.
This process is so humbling.
I'm trying hard to stay away from the self loathing, the negotiation that's rooted in self blame: why can't I drink like a normal person, I'll have just one it'll be fine, everyone else can have fun but not me, boo hoo wah wah. All those little bargains have proven not to be true for me, time and again.
Instead, I'm trying to approach this process with curiosity and patience. I know alcohol isn't good for me, I know it holds me back from my goals. But sometimes it feels like the only way I know how to take care of myself is to turn my feelings off, and alcohol is great for that.
I'm trying to take better care of myself. I just don't know how yet.
Earlier this week, I found out a friend of mine has cancer. My husband had cancer last year, and although he's recovered now... it was a bad year. This was massively triggering for both of us. We both drank about it. And like, I don't want to do that? But it's okay that I did.
Self loathing won't take me farther down the path. Self acceptance will.
I believe that I can love myself enough to stop drinking. I'm just still learning how.

My friends (I'll call them Adam and Bob) want me to feed and walk their dogs on a Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday night. I won't be staying at the house, though they said I could, because I'm allergic to dogs and cats. (It's a minor allergy and I love animals, so I don't care that much)
Adam told me that he'll pay whatever I needed to watch them, but to not tell Bob. Because they're very tight on money and Adam knows Bob won't want to pay anything. But I'm not sure how much is reasonable to ask since we're good friends and I know they don't have a lot of money. It is a lot of animals though, so does anyone know how I should estimate how much I should ask for?

For this post (or series of posts), I'm going to take a few things into consideration:
- 1) Casting for TV is not the same as a huge blockbuster film. Highly sought after actors may not dedicate years of their life to a TV show as grand as Otherland, and especially if they're not the starring role, so casting Jennifer Lawrence as Christabel Sorenson's mom just won't cut it. In my opinion, only the roles of Paul Jonas, Renie Sulaweyo, Thargor, Felix Jongleur, Jonny Wulgaru and the Angel have the real potential for big Hollywood stars. I'm using Amazon's The Wheel of Time as a comparison-- they have just a few big names (Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Sophie Okonedo), though most are either big names in smaller industries or young actors who are starting their careers with maybe just a few big roles under their belt.
- 2) As best as possible, going to take into account race, age, gender and sexuality when relevant to the story that Tad Williams was telling. It would seem weird to cast roles with deep connections to their cultures (!Xabbu, Dread, etc.) with actors not from those places. Otherwise, I'm open to race-blind/country-blind casting and flexible with ages of the actors compared to their characters. So for each character I'll include an age range, a general physical description (tall, short, athletic, etc) if necessary.
- 3) Given the nature of Otherland and the "sims" that the characters inhabit, I would assume that most characters would play a sim that looks like them for the TV show, to avoid massive CGI costs or actor changes for the last book. Of course, with Orlando and Fredericks, they may appear as their sims Thargor and Pithlit.
- Age: 25-35 / Ethnic/Racial Background: African (Black) / Physicality: N/A (taller than !Xabbu ?)

I was still on v53 like 2 hours ago. I had to step out for an hour suddenly and left my headset connected through VD to my PC with Beat Saber running. I went back hour later, put on the headset -> I see the firmware update mode and progress bar going. Yes. the headset automatically updated in the middle of the pause (I also don't have headset wake option turned on so unless I press the power button it won't wake from sleep so no way something triggered proximity sensor and woke it up to perform the update)
Right after the update I restarted the headset just for good measure and tried both VD and Air Link (I have Wifi 6E router Asus AXE11000 that worked incredibly well compared to my previous AX55). It's a mess. The moment I turn quickly even by 90 degrees, latency spikes hard, image lags behind massively for a few seconds. It's unplayable.
It used to be a thing before but only if I were to do consecutive 360 super rapid turns and changed turn direction rapidly as well. I would have to really try and overload the positional data to have that happen so in regular gameplay even during rapid turns it was fine at all times. Now I can't even do more than 1 basic quick turn. 2 small quick turns by 90 degrees will cause the massive lag.
Meta please delay the releases untill major problems are fixed (this was reported by many on your forums where I see developers actively being there and even answering the posts - which is a good thing). I'm pretty sure none of the users would mind waiting for a meaningful update. I would say people would prefer that over getting an update forced on them with bugs. So either delay or turn off forced/automatical updates. You made a great hardware (and software when it comes to it's functionalities - unfortunately not reliability after updates) that is widely available and used by most VR users. Please don't ruin the possibilities of further expansion of VR to more audience with a buggy software.
It's the similar situation as with Pimax sometimes with Meta. Hardware provides great FOV, resolution etc but software and issues gimps the final impression so freaking hard.

We had a really garbage install and the wind fnally ripped the flopping cord out of the NID (the one that connects outside to both the inside wall panel and outside NID).
I need assistance putting the wires back in. It appears to have used blue and white on the top and orange on the bottom. Even though this was escalated and I've been without internet since Wednesday, they won't be sending someone out until NEXT WEEK. I work from home and cannot miss that much work.
Literally the only thing wrong is that the cord was pulled out. Please help me with where to replace the wires. AT&T Uverse broadband Dsl
