England - An Amazon delivery driver crashed into my property at the weekend - I've contacted my insurance to make a claim but they've refused because apparently, railings are not covered under vehicular damage.
However, my buildings cover states that 'Buildings' includes walls, gates, hedges, fences, lampposts, railings.
Under the next section, 'What we can't cover you for' with regards to collision or impact by vehicles, it states 'Loss or damage caused: to hedges, gates or fences unless your home is damaged at the same time and by the same cause.'
Hedges gates or fences are therefore excluded under vehicular damage - fair enough - but it doesn't state walls, lampposts or most importantly railings are excluded also, therefore by their own definition of 'Buildings', railings are included.
What other legal avenues do I have?
A little extra info, driver failed to stop - police have been informed - aware of company but are refusing to provide insurance information. Amazon are asking for video evidence which is highly unrealistic but I have a witness and statement plus other evidence.

Today I'm going to tell you the story of my chair
I'm going to start this story with... We'll call this person Stacy.
Stacy is a tech saleswoman in the department store I worked at. Despite Stacy being a sales woman she is also a supervisor which in a technical sense doesn't really have any managerial connotations and is a very loose title where I work but Stacy has a problem with authority both giving and taking orders. Giving in a sense where she believes she is on the same level as the store manager and orders people around expecting them to follow her orders and taking in the sense that whenever one of the managers tells her to do or not to do something she just decides to not follow their orders and does what she wants anyway.
Now on top of Stacy's blatant insubordination, she is also a very unethical saleswoman where as she will lie to customers, lacks an extreme amount of knowledge regarding the things she is selling, steals sales from part time staff and is also very manipulative and manages to sell a lot of things which, because she makes a lot of sales means she brings in a lot of money for the store which in turn makes my store manager look good so he tends to look the other way when she is insubordinate and/or unethical.
Some background about myself for the story. I've been working with this company for about 3-4 years. I've been transferred to other locations as we have about 4 or 5 in my area, I've worked closely with a lot of the managers in the stores training as a potential stand in, but officially my positions in this company are in this order, computer repair technician, tech sales support, customer service support, I was permanently transferred to the store Stacy is at to fill the open tech repair position and assist with supervising the sales and service staff when needed, keep in mind that I am not a supervisor but I do have access to some of the same things management does and I report directly to the sales manager over anyone else, this is important for later.
Recently the store manager had to take medical leave for something serious which has caused him to not be able to work forcing our sales manager to become the acting store manager for the time. now our sales manager has only been with us for a couple months and Stacy believes that seniority actually hold some Authority, and because she's been with the store for over 10 years she thinks she has more Authority than the acting manager of the store. that being said our acting manager isn't very knowledgeable on all of the things a manager has to do although I have a pretty good idea of what needs to be done and he usually consults me because I've worked closely with the managers of others stores. Because the manager is out Stacy has taken it upon herself to sort of act as the new store manager despite the fact that we already have an acting manager
Now in regards to my chair, as a support staff I do a lot of monitoring of software and type up a lot of retorts, and as the technician of the store I do a lot of sitting while repairing and working on computers mainly because my desk is below waist height and trying to work at a desk that low while standing can cause a serious back issue. the problem with me having a chair is that sometimes the part-timers will go into my office and sit and play on their phones when I'm not there and the manager has warned them a few times about it but they continue to do it, his deterrent was he would lock my chair in his office when I wasn't working. because the Manager is out for a while, Stacy took it upon herself to deal with the situation as she felt was the best way and that way was by dismantling the chair and hiding the pieces all around the store. Now Not only was that an extremely childish thing to do to handle a situation but the situation itself was completely out of Nancy's Authority was a complete waste of company time. I want to preface that this isn't some dopey office chair, it's a fairly high end chair that I built and I can tell you that taking it apart is twice as hard as putting it together. dismantling the chair and hiding all the pieces had to have taken at least an hour or two for a woman in her 50s and the place is she hid all of the pieces were unbelievable and turned out to be an extreme safety hazard.
So for about a week and a half me and a few of my co-workers who were aware of the situation basically went on a small scavenger hunt to find all of the pieces of the chair and within that week and a half is when I concocted my plan..
I discussed the situation with the managers. We have 4 managers.. A general manager, sales Manager, service manager, and merchandise manager. I spoke to each manager separately for their opinions on the situation (with the exception of he general manager because hes on leave).
The sales manages wasn't interested in the situation because he was the acting manager and had more pressing matter to attend to considering it was back to school season, out busiest time of the year he basically told me to deal without it however I wanted to.
The service manager was for the most part on my side but also didn't want to get involved because well... He's a bit of a pussy and it's terrified of confrontation.
The merch manager thought it would be fun to hunt for all the pieces since she knew the store top to bottom and would most likely be able to find all the pieces. She was also was okay with me handling the situation however I wanted to and offered any support she could provide in the matter.
Initially Stacy denied knowing where my chair was but everyone was suspicious she had something to do with it and after finding all of the chair pieces I then confronted Stacy about the situation, she admitted to taking apart the chair and hiding it and I respectfully requested that she rebuild my chair so that this situation can be done with and things can be normal,to which she respectfully declined. I wasn't having that.
In my store, things are pretty out of wack, and there are a lot of internal problems that need to be dealt with, but no one knows how to deal with them... Stacy takes advantage of that by using the disarray of the store to take advantage of the other employees.. And she thought she could do the same with me, but Stacy didn't know me very well, Stacy didn't know I have a lot of experience with this company, and Stacy didn't know I am friends with the HR manager, So I had an idea of how things worked when it came to dealing with employee issues that the managers avoided.. I told Stacy that if my chair wasn't build by the time I show up for my next shift I was going to give head office HR a call and tell them about all the Shit she's been doing and how much time she wasted dealing with managers issues and causing a slew of safety hazards and a hostile work environment.. She was trying to play it cool but that was enough to make her panic.. And believe it or not, she tried to pull the seniority card on me. Didn't work, then she tried the "you can't go over my head with this stuff, I'm your direct superior and you have to report to me first" which, for one, never have I ever directly reported to her, she supervises the sales staff, alongside me and two, this would be an HR issue which is beyond store management. Stacy panicked because she knew I was right and she couldn't do a single thing to stop me. So she begged one of the managers to build my chair and it was build that same night.
As satisfied as I am with the outcome and seeing her panic, I am dissatisfied with my dumb ass service manager who gave in and built the chair for her. It was fun watching her beg tho.
This happened a few years ago and I have since quit my job there. The toxicity that was being created because of Stacy literally has damaged my mental health. This story is one of very many outrageous things this person has done. I had to leave because she has had HR called on her many times, unfortunately HR has to report to the district manager, who also looked the other way from the amount of reports against her because it makes his district look better than the others when she gets high numbers. While I was there the part time employees had a higher turn over. When I voiced my concern to the district manager his response prompted almost the entire full time staff to quit.

Hi, I know this isn't anything related to the game itself and it's another post complaining about these things but I've been trying to get into my account for a whole week and can't do it and SE customer support is atrocious and i'm extremely dumb.
I changed PC to a new one, and before doing so, I renewed my subscription to FF after a while without playing cause my old PC couldn't run it properly anymore. But once I got to my new computer and opened the launcher, my account was compromised (I assume because of changing computers) and I had to change password to fix it.
Now this isn't a problem in itself, however my 15 year old smartass decided to put a fake birthday date and a random Q/A which has made me now, seven years later, unable to remember any of that.
I contacted SE support with obviously the wrong birthday date stating that I forgot my Q/A and also the birthday but alas, the only answer I got was "Wrong birthday nerd come back when its the correct one". So when I tried for hours to search the option to change my birthday, it says I need to send my goddamn ID, drivers passport, my home adress and also PUT THE Q/A THAT I DONT KNOW.
Also SE support website says to login to mogstation to change my Q/A but I CANT because my account is compromised SO HUH?
So I've been stuck in a loop of being unable to contact SE support and my head hurts. I paid a sub for nothing and 7 years of playing the game nearly every day has gone down the drain.

Hey guys, this is my first time using reddit and I'm honestly just a little scared. I'm 16 and I live in the UK, I'm saying that because 16 has different rights in different countries and it also means that I'm finishing up my exams very soon. I finish my exams on the 16th of June. I feel uncomfortable sharing my personal life, I've always been a private person. I've been okay recently and I'm trying to stay confident and happy but my dad has just told me that in 2 weeks I need to be gone or he's going to kick me out. He has said this before but he's never followed through with it although those were many years ago. The emotional abuse has gone too far and now I actually want to leave the home. I have no idea about how this all works though. I need to focus on my exams and also move out. I don't think I'm going to be moving out full time, I'm thinking a month at most, I think this because I still have a Mum and 3 siblings, it's only my dad who is kicking me out. I feel like once I leave the house and leave a note, they will get worried and then ask me to come home because they still care despite not being the kindest to me.
I don't want to sleep on the streets, I wouldn't mind but where I am, it's not the safest and I don't really know where I'd sleep. I've been thinking of renting a place but I'm struggling to find anything. I don't want to be too drastic and move cities. I was thinking of staying at a hotel for a while. I just don't have that much money stored up. I have £20 at the moment and a £5 Gift voucher I won from school. I first applied to get a debit card as I know many places don't accept cash and as a musician I also put my guitar up for sale. A little sad but I need the money and it is a valuable guitar. I used gumtree but I'm going to post on more sites. and I'm also going to try and sell more things, I just don't know if I'll have buyers in time. With cash I can get a hotel room or a place to rent but I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing. I'm not begging for money by the way, I just want advice on what to do and just for starters. I'm not going to talk with my family, I physically cannot bring myself to it. I can't crash at a friends place although I do have a friend who may lend me some money.

I have a dead bedroom and didn't even know it. I'd never heard that term before. My thoughts may ramble and I apologize for that.
We've been married since 1997. We were part of the purity culture so we didn't even kiss for 4 months. I didn't know what dating was like. I didn't realize that what I experienced before marriage would translate to decreasing sex throughout our marriage. We married 16 months after dating and on the first night it was over quick. I'd never touched a woman before. I don't think she enjoyed it though she says she did.
Twenty-six years later my sex drive which as always been high has skyrocketed in my late 40's. Her sex drive has disappeared. I honestly don't know what brings us to sex every 6-8 weeks.

Counseling changes things for about 4 weeks. We've gone to counseling 3 different times. I've increased the amount of dishes I do and meals I cook and I ask her what can I do for her. I have brought home flowers and chocolates. I've taken her for dates and weekends away.
Her job is stressful. We have three teenagers. She's always tired. She needs to go to the doctor to get some aches and pains taken care of. She is in pre-menopause.

Hey we have seen everything almost and wanna find a hidden gem maybe. We both love seinen, dark, thriller animes. We love action, dont mind gore or adult humor. I’ve only lurked here, never post but thought I’d ask for advice on this.
We’re both 22 and have been long distance for almost 4 years. This last year has been a bit rocky, primarily because he’s been super busy, so we end up fighting because he can’t call, texts late, is always out either at work or just with his friends.
This was kind of a loop we had going before it turned to a bigger fight a couple weeks ago. He told me he doesn’t like staying at home as it gets depressing for him and it’s not the same being with me on call. I ended up getting really expensive tickets to go see him for a bit so we can resolve this. We talked about it, there was a lot of back and forth, tears but eventually we resolved it. I’d confirmed if he still wanted me to stay and move to his city, and we were on the same page.
I stayed with him for a week, he was super busy, we got maybe 2hrs together a day (this is more than what we’d get together when we’re apart), we didn’t fight, at all. It was nice, felt like us again and I left content.
It’s been a week since I’ve come back, we haven’t fought at all. Primarily because I’m now more understanding of his situation, we text every now and then, not really full conversations but like keeping in touch throughout the day?
Yesterday, he was out with his friends all day, it was fine but I got a little sad because I missed him, and we’ve talked properly for like maybe only an hour this week. I mentioned I was feeling a little sad over this yesterday and I think he was annoyed about it. (I did not fight or tell him it’s his problem, i just said i’m trying and it’s my problem but today’s been tough) He did call me later in the night for around 15 minutes to hear about my day, I asked about his but he said he just wants to go sleep.
Now I’ve just been anxious all day. I did apologise to him but my anxiety is just all over the place. Long distance is hard as is, but since we don’t talk as much, he can’t really offer reassurance.
I’m supposed to move permanently to be with him in 3 weeks, my lease is ending 2 days after my flight plus I’ve given my notice. I need to be able to pass these 3 weeks without feeling sad or needing reassurance and I have no clue how. Although I do work and keep distracted, the anxiety lingers.
So I’m just looking for advice. We’re so close to closing the distance but also feels like I’m just gonna end up being abandoned if I don’t get my anxiety and sadness over not spending time together in control.

I'm looking to get a NUC for some home automation stuff, and while my performance requirements are very low, I'd like to make sure I'm hitting the sweet spot for price/performance. My application is headless, so I really don't care about the graphics capabilities. What I do care about is power consumption and noise.
My first question is: Are NUC11 Pro boards and NUC12 Pro boards the same footprint? I want this to be rack mounted, and I ordered a 1U enclosure for a NUC 11 Pro board. I've seen in a couple of posts here comments suggesting that the 12 is the way to go for new purchases, but I don't know if that will even be an option for me if I want to use the enclosure I have.
The second question: What are some of the go-to sites for ordering these?
And third question: Given that any CPU on these is going to be fast enough, what family should I go for if I want it to run cool? Is there a significant difference in the heat generated by i3, i5, or i7? I notice that some boards have fans on them and some don't. Do the ones without fans support adding those fans just in case my rack enclosure doesn't allow the passive cooling to work well enough?
