The Main Goal:
Well if you’re browsing this subreddit then much like me, you were alone this weekend and I’m sure you’d like to change that as much as me. I won’t lie, I am going through a rough part of my life right now. It’s difficult for me to find the energy for anything at the moment and I’m just really seeking affection in general, anything that will give me a push. I don’t want to be that person who brings everyone down but I could really use someone to talk to right now. I’d really like to find someone who’s similar to me so much to the point that we do everything together and talk about everything while not having to pretend to be interested. I want someone with whom we can mutually spew our emotions onto and have those feelings reciprocated. Not an emotional punching bag, but an emotional teddy bear to hug and cuddle until everything feels better as many times as we need. There’s people who I’m sure have told you the same, they’ll be there no matter how many times you need the support, no matter how many times the insecurities and bad thoughts come back but they don’t mean it. I will be the exception, I’m not so ignorant to think some nice words and tales of relating to you will magically forever heal whatever ails you then get mad when you seek the same support again. Mental ailments are rarely temporary and I don’t care about someone because they’re perfect, caring about someone means being there no matter how many times they need you to be. It doesn’t feel like a chore, it doesn’t get old, and it never will.

Relationship:
A relationship is difficult for me right now, it’s been nearly half a year since I got out of my last relationship and the reasons for it ending are partially responsible for how I’ve been feeling and why it’s so hard for me to seek the comfort I so desperately crave. I will tell you about it but for the sake of not treating the entirety of the internet as my therapist, it’ll be in private. I really need the comfort of intimacy and the warmth of someone who cares. I'm not going to feel better if I just sulk and don’t move on. This is my attempt to get better, I’ll admit I’m not great right now and I don’t expect you to be either. If we can help each other heal, then I’d be more than happy :) A relationship isn’t just being there for when someone’s at their best. Even if a relationship is hard at the moment, I do want a life partner and I don’t want to be alone. Things aren’t going to get easier without you so I don’t want to hesitate. I view my other as an equal, I don’t like categorizing us into specific roles. We take care of each other and treat each other how we like to be treated, whatever that is, it's as simple as that. I don't care if you're "successful" or not, living simple lives with our days filled with love is the ultimate measure of success to me.

Personality:

On the Surface:
As you can tell I can be rather… stoic but that’s largely due to my current stressors, I truthfully am goofy and fun loving but I just can’t find it in me right now. I want to return to that but without someone to light up my world it’s been difficult to just have fun and enjoy stuff. I’m definitely more introverted, you won’t catch me at any parties or really outside at all. I definitely prefer being home though the occasional outing is not out of the question and one day I’d like to travel to other countries because I think that kind of perspective is important.

The Core of My Being:
I like being a spectator to it all and if we bear witness to humanity burning or its miraculous recovery, I want to watch it with you. I enjoy watching humanity advance, less so when it devolves but I want to watch it to the end nonetheless. I’m both a realist and someone who lives with my head in the clouds dreaming of scenarios or worlds that don’t exist. I’m saying that I enjoy a good narrative and can suspend my disbelief to enjoy something but you won’t catch me refusing vaccines or ignoring blatant facts for the sake of some pseudo science or witch doctor’s remedy. I’m an atheist but I do not rule out existence after death, not because I’m agnostic but because due to the nature of potentially infinite time at some point after how many googol years with a googol amount of 0s after that, something’s bound to replicate your consciousness perfectly at some point. It’s actually a really fascinating topic I like talking about. If infinite time and infinite possibilities exist, does non existence exist? Though that’s an awfully existentially dreadful thought process considering the ramifications of infinite existence and infinite possibilities during said infinite existence. I would say I’m confidently left leaning and I don’t think I could truly get along with anyone right leaning, at least America’s definition of right leaning. Left and right seems to have just become; do people deserve to suffer or do they deserve to live good lives? Being political is not something I expected to become but how can you not be when crimes against human rights are being passed on a daily basis and at the end of the day, everything’s political. Oftentimes I imagine the perfect moment as relaxing with my significant other playing games or cuddling in a cold room under blankets.
I value that special someone above all of the existential thoughts, the bad of the world, the good of the world, they practically become my world. So many worries wash away when I’m with them. I don’t know if that’s the defense mechanism my brain created to not feel bad 24/7 but if it is, I’m currently without it.

Insecurities:
I talk of philosophy and politics here but really I spend most of my time just playing games, watching stuff, and trying to not be sleep deprived. I’m also nowhere near as well spoken, heck sometimes I feel like my speech is broken. I won’t claim to be something I’m not, I sit at home while I complain about the world doing nothing about it wishing I had someone here with me. I’m not noble nor do I really want to be, I have morals I uphold but much like most other hypocrites I acknowledge that my comfortable life is built on the suffering of others without doing anything about it. Why? My sleep problems? Am I depressed? Is that why I have no energy to do anything? Do I just think nothing I could do could help? I can’t nail it down myself, maybe it’s a mix of everything, maybe I’m just a bad person. I have always told myself that if I had wealth I would help people but if I get that kind of wealth will I just become a wealth hoarder who tries to justify my riches as something I earned rather than something given to me through incredibly lucky circumstances? If I do help people is it because I’m a good person or out of guilt? Will I die alone? I feel like I drive everyone away with my clinginess, I get paranoid often and need reassurance often. It’s something I want to work on, something I’ve been trying to work on. Hearing that someone cares about me just never gets old. I value self awareness even if it’s painful.

Socializing:
I’m definitely a socially anxious/awkward mess, especially around strangers. I do feel a large amount of anxiety in public, people can’t tell by looking at my face since I kind of go stone faced in an attempt to block everything out but yeah you’ll notice that if we go out in public. Growing up my pediatrician said I was probably autistic, never got a formal diagnosis so that’s just great. But yeah that explains why I can’t make eye contact with people, I kinda just stare at the ground and avoid their gaze at all costs. A lot of these social struggles go away to a great degree once I know you for a bit but yeah I apologize for how terrible I am at socializing at first. Don’t let my social struggles fool you though, I love cuddling and being close with my person.

Sexuality:
I am a heterosexual male, though I’m not very masculine like at all. I may even be a bit feminine sometimes. Not that I believe any activity or manner of acting belongs to a gender but I don’t know how else to describe it. I’m definitely super affectionate and love it when my partner is too. I am open to dating demi people but I do have a libido so I don't think asexual would work out.

As stated before, I do spend a lot of my time playing video games. It’s been hard lately with me having no energy but I really do want to play more games and have a good time playing them with you! I primarily play on PC though I do have a switch. I’m primarily into platform fighters, roguelikes, open world, survival, and sandbox games. As for single player story games, I enjoy watching them through twitch or youtube but for the most part I don’t play them myself. I’d watch you play them though!

Whatever you want to play I’ll give it a shot! I will say that League bores me to death but I’ll play it for you :) I try to avoid MMOs, not because I don’t like them but because of how addicted I can get to them. I enjoy learning games in-depth so MMOs can be a fast track to addiction.
I recently got Kerbal Space Program 2 and ehhh not really worth it right now but hopefully later it will be? I’m super excited for Tears of the Kingdom! In the far off future I’m excited for Rivals of Aether 2 which is a platform fighter releasing in 2024, let me know of your most anticipated releases and I’ll see if I could play them with you!
Also I never got into FPS games but I could totally see myself playing like CoD with you or Escape From Tarkov. Any FPS really, I’m down.
I am a fan of Pokemon but with how things have been lately I don’t know how long that will last. Pixelmon is a common Pokemon mod I play for Minecraft if you want to play that! Also if I say I want to play something with you I mean it but there are often times when no matter how much I want to I'm just drained and can do little more than lay in bed so please don't think I'm making an excuse.

I really enjoy keeping up with the latest advances in pretty much everything, it could be biology, technology, astronomy, anything! I love seeing progression and I love talking about it! Really I could go on and on about what I’m obsessing about that day. I particularly love technology, ask me for my laptop specs I dare you. When I was little I always wanted to be a scientist of any kind but then insomnia and fear of college stuff hit me like a truck aaaand that’s the end of that dream.

I’m not going to go on and on about the tiniest little things when the main ones are covered but I’ll watch pretty much any show with you and anything really. I like random youtube videos that explain some kind of lore or mystery, sometimes mini documentaries too.
As for food I looove sushi and I’m a sucker for fast food. Okay and candy, definitely candy.
I used to play tennis but haven’t really had the opportunity nor friends to play it with and I’m way too socially anxious to seek it out. Also I will say that when we move to something like discord I type waaaay more casually. I’m not going to expect long paragraphs back and forth like we’re writing English papers for each other, I do enjoy long conversations but seriously don’t worry about having to put the utmost effort into every response, I just like making good first impressions I guess.

My Physical Characteristics:
I’m 5’8 (172cm), 128 pounds (58kg), with curly brown hair and blue eyes. I like keeping my hair long in the winter and cutting it in the summer. I’m pretty slim in general so if you’re looking for someone large, that’s not me. I don’t work out but my work is pretty physical so at least I’m not totally inactive. I don’t have the urge to work out or gain muscle but I do want to maintain my slim figure so if I start losing control of that I’ll work out. I like to keep my face shaved because I don’t think I look good with a beard/mustache so if you’re into those I apologize. I have an average amount of body hair? I’d prefer to be completely shaved but it’s easy to lose motivation with that battle, if you prefer shaved then I’d have no problem complying. My Physical Preferences:
Having physical preferences makes me feel shallow, if I could make myself not have them I would but unfortunately that’s now how that works. I don’t care if you’re shorter or taller than me and I don’t care if you weigh more or less than me. All I ask is that you’re slim-average weight. I would never ask for someone to be something I’m not. I don’t care about tattoos or piercings.
(6) Expectations of You: I am not looking for someone “exciting” or someone to “keep me on my toes” I’m not looking for someone to cater to my every whim or anything like that. I don’t care if you’re “boring” or if you aren’t “successful”. I know it’s a common thing for people to not want a “boring” relationship and to seek something argumentative or something with constant challenges but I just want to be with you. During the exciting times, the boring times, and everything in-between, all of it will be great with you! Maybe we do argue sometimes or maybe there will be challenges but that will never be something I purposefully seek out and I don’t want that to be something you seek out either. I will not play tricks on you and I will not play mind games, I expect the same from you. We all have personal measures of success we may or may not have lived up to but what I care about most is our commitment to each other. If we have each other we can get through tough times, near the ends of our lives I want us to look back and feel that this life together was worth more than anything. That’s not saying I want us to be haphazard, I don’t want us to make poor decisions for the sake of yolo and I want us to always be rational, especially with each other. I want you to be someone I can trust to make decisions and weigh the options with a level head, I’ll try my best to live up to the same for you. Most of all I want empathy, understanding, someone to feel the utmost comfort and trust in.

Living Situation:
Currently my life is pretty relaxed, I work 3 times a week as a night shift stocker. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my roommate but we’re looking to move into someplace larger by the end of the year if everything works out. The internet is weirdly great for Ohio too like I have fiber and later this year we’re supposed to be getting dedicated fiber so that’s neat. I’m not attached to Ohio so the ultimate goal living location wise is probably moving to a country that won’t send you into a lifetime of dealing with the repercussions from one medical emergency.

Closing Remarks:
Well you made it, I was thinking that finding someone I’d be willing to put a lifetime of effort into at least required this much effort. If I think of anything more I’ll update the post. Also about timezones, it really doesn’t matter where in the world you are. I don’t have a sleep schedule and I have most of the week off from work so it really doesn’t matter.
I request that in your response you do put effort into it, it doesn’t have to be anywhere near as long as this but at least enough so I know that you read this and enough about you so I know why you saw potential compatibility. I will seriously read all of it and respond the best I can. I do also request a pic included in your response (sfw please) or one soon after we start talking to prove identity, I’ll send identity proving pics too. Jokic is still the best player in the world and an elite scorer even when not playmaking. I am not blaming this on him but just want to discuss strategy.
The traditional strategy that teams used in the last 3 years in the playoffs to counter Jokic is to neuter his playmaking and letting him operate as a forward.
Jokic in the last 3 years: 2019-20 7.0 to 5.7 2020-21 8.5 to 5.0 2021-22 8.0 to 5.8
Draymond mentioned this in a podcast he did a couple of weeks ago as well that GSW’s entire goal against Denver was to get Jokic’s assist numbers under 6 and he mentioned the one game Jokic looked normal was when the Twolves reduced his playmaking to 6 assists.
The adjustment Denver made this post season to counter this is to run the ball through Murray as much as Jokic, they both have nearly the same usage% of 28-29% instead of Jokic dominating the ball with the idea that if Jokic’s playmaking is clamped like this game, Murray can be the primary play maker and Denver’s offence isn’t completely choked. This has made teams just accept the Jokic playmaking matchup.
However, while Denver has this counter, it’s still better for teams to force Denver to play like this, with Murray effectively playing as a play making point guard and Jokic playing as a paint scoring focused power forward offensively.
This creates a much more even matchup because Jokic is reduced to a ‘normal’ 35 ppg elite scorer as opposed to the best playmaker in the last 30 years who will also put up 25 with ease.
In today’s game when the Heat forced this, Denver’s overall offence was so clamped when Jokic was on the court in the first half while they were forcing the playmaking through him.
He was -11 in a 3 point game with 5 turnovers while being in the -17 to -20 range until the last minute come back attempt. He’s normally a +8 to +10 so that’s at least a -20 point deficit on the Jokic minutes. He at least played more like a PF in the second half instead of forcing the playmaking which reduced the bleeding from his minutes.
Both Jokic and Murray looked shook and had a rough time adjusting to being forced to play new roles by Miami when on the court together in the first half which led to multiple players committing turnovers. The game was close due to the incredible run they went on in the non-Jokic minutes in the second quarter. That was the only stretch that Denver was not either exchanging buckets or getting out hustled.
Denver still the big favourites against the Heat because they still have better players but will need to play much better defense and find ways to generate much better looks for 3s through Murray if Jokic is being held down constantly.
Denver need to make a choice to either decisively run through Murray from the first quarter or have a concrete plan against Miami’s defence clamping Jokic’s playmaking to not neuter that part of the game.

6/5 Monday MLB Oakland Athletics vs Pittsburgh Pirates Betting Preview
The Oakland Athletics will face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates in an intriguing matchup on June 5, 2023, at PNC Park. Currently I just got to Division 7. In FIFA 23 Rivals, do you still get knocked back 1 or 2 Divisions at the end of the Season like FIFA 22? I remember the first few divisions you'd only drop 1 division but at some point you'd drop 2. Trying to decide however how much it's worth promoting to div 6 before the end of the season (I already have my 8 wins for the week), but if both div 6 and div 7 drop to div 8, that would put a damper on my enthusiasm.

After Game 2, Many Lakers fans are wondering how the Lakers failed to get 1 game in the entire series. The answer is fairly straightforward: They got exposed in key areas.

1) They exposed the fact that the Lakers have next to no Transition Defense and Perimeter Defense. The Lakers only excelled in interior defense (ALL by AD Himself)
2) Our 3-pt shooting is average and very low volume. There were games where we only had 6-8 made 3's
3) They attacked mismatches, Jamal Murray and Bruce Brown would always take the switch on D'LO and score on him
4) The adjustments came too late in the series (Coaching Diff)
The #1 Lakers Defensive rating was being carried by AD's historic defensive performance.

The Miami Heat's strengths are the Lakers greatest weaknesses
1) They are good-to-great in transition defense
2) They are the #1 offense in the playoffs and #1 in 3-pt shooting. When was the last time, the Lakers made 17 threes in a playoff game?
3) Erik Spolestra is a genius and has mastered the zone defense and adjustments

Main Cast

1. Trưng Trắc: Clone of one of the famous duo the Trung Sisters, though she is one of the more popular girls at Clone High, she is heavily disliked because of her dominant, nasty, and selfish personality, making her close to nobody at first. She tries to shed Nhi's duality and seemingly trampling on her as she does so. Although she is initially shaken by Nhi's lesbianism, she eventually accepts it, but is hesitant to embrace Nur Jahan.
   
2. Trưng Nhị: Clone of the other Trung Sister and is the main protagonist of her generation. With her quiet and introverted personality, Nhi is often bullied and taken advantage of by her dominant twin sister and depends on Trắc to be the dynamic one. As the seasons progresses, she begins to come out of her shell and strives for individuality. She began the season as a closeted lesbian, but eventually comes out to her friends and loved ones, including Nur Jahan, with whom she is in love. She develops a friendship with Alexander The Great, and allows him to lose his virginity with her, despite their sexual orientations. This, among other issues including Nur cheating on Nhi, causes problems between the couple over seasons six and seven although they reunite in the final episode of season six. She is angered when Nur never told her about her (Nur Jahan's) terminal cancer by the first episode of season seven but stays by her side as she dies.
   
3. Alexander: A teenage clone of the legendary historical figure, Alexander the Great, Alexander is fiercely competitive and has a strong desire for greatness, always striving to be at the top of his game. He tries to hide his sexuality by banging as much women as possible but later accepts his identity.
   
4. Janis "Jan" Joplin: Clone of Janis Joplin, Jan is a rebellious and free-spirited teenage clone who often gets into trouble and has a habit of stealing people's wallets. She sports a vibrant and eclectic style and has an aura of confidence and nonconformity, always embracing her unique personality.
   
5. Caligula: Teenage clone of Roman emperor Caligula, he is known for his wild and impulsive behavior, often engaging in outrageous pranks and stunts that leave others both intrigued and bewildered. Caligula has a mischievous sense of humor penchant for acting mad, fun and is hard to handle and to the other clones.
   
6. Charlemagne: The clone of Charlemagne, he admires his "clonefather" and tries to live up to him. He deals with a love triangle between Jan and Mary Tudor, but always ends up dating Lizzie.
   
7. "Bloody" Mary Tudor: The Clone of english queen Mary Tudor and is a very cynical, grumpy, and angsty goth. Her adopted mother has been having an affair with her adopted father's boss, which turns out to be the reason why her parents got divorced. Mary becomes involved in a love triangle with Charlemagne and Jan and ends up winning in the end.
   
8. Guy Fawkes: Clone of Guy Fawkes, a clone of Guy Fawkes and Charlemagne's best friend. He, like Charles, is struggling to live up to his "clonefather" Guy Fawkes, continually trying to blow up the school and failing.

Recurring and Background Characters

1. Nur Jahan: The clone of Mughal Queen Nur Jahan, a passionate, political, and principled individualist. She questions her sexual orientation at the beginning of and later enters a relationship with Trung Nhi, despite many obstacles such as 's sexual act with Alexander The Great, Nur's insecurity with her sexuality and The Trung Sisters's adopted family taking a dislike to her. After cheating on Nhi, their relationship becomes strained but they reunite in the final episode of Season 6. Nur would die of cancer at the start of Season 7.

Here is my feature request - in the podcast tool could the preview text of an episode's title be something like 4-6 lines, instead of 2? While abbreviated titles means less scrolling, it is so common for a podcast title to begin with a season and episode number, and then a standard title, before you get to the actual episode topic. So when you subscribe to something new you're looking at a screen of titles that all look the same.

Tonight my girlfriend Ema(24F) is staying overnight . My roommate Dave(27M) knows this and he was fine with it. This is not the first time she stays overnight.
Me and Ema took the night to just relax and enjoy some shows. We watch a couple of episodes in the living room and It was around 8pm when Ema snuggled close and fell asleep. Today was a stressful and exhausting day for her at work.
Around 8:45 or so, Dave arrived. He immediately asked why Ema was still here. I looked at him confused as i told him a couple of days ago and today before he left for work.
Apparently he didn’t pay attention to neither and assumed she was just going to be here for a couple of hours and not overnight. And now he wanted Ema to leave as he doesn’t feel comfortable with her around now.
After some whispering argument, it is because he broke up with his girlfriend. I was just more confused. Dave had enough and wake up Ema by almost yelling her to wake up.
I snapped at him and told him to f off and to leave us alone. I walked Ema to my room and she fell asleep again. I went back out and we argued more, about how it’s unfair i have my gf over when he can’t. I just told him it wasn’t my fault he was such a bad boyfriend that in the past 6 months 3 woman have broken up with him. He got furious and slammed the door to his room.

I'm talking season 7 of Buffy and seasons 4 and 5 of Angel. This is partly based on rumors so take the opinions with a grain of salt but there is a possibility
So, it's different shows but still the same universe, in season 6 of Buffy Willow's evil arc was supposed to last longer than it did and not be a magic addiction thing at all. So considering how it did go and that Tara's death was supposed to still be a catalyst I have to figure she's going to be a well intentioned extremist.
Well, Hannigan doesn't want to be a villain, they don't want to write out Amber Benson, it just gets pushed back and back so they say so we end up with three episodes of actual Dark Willow.
But in the next season on Angel we get Cordelia and the Jasmine arc. Rumors have it that had Charisma not gotten pregnant she would have been the big bad in place of Gina Torres as jasmine, with it actually being her choices based on some vision in the higher plane she was on about humanity destroying itself. The same whole trying to do to much good will corrupt you thing
Then in season 5 of Angel he just makes the whole plot about that, so it can't be avoided
And of course he killed off Cordelia when he told Charisma he wouldn't.
Then there's so many other things. The fans are so furious about Tara's death he has to make a claim about wanting to bring Tara back, despite it being totally out of line with normal Buffyverse storytelling. And the fact the person he claims would do it was traumatized by her resurrection.
Well, getting Willow into a relationship makes sense given what she represents, but he proceeds to tap into past bad ideas and goes for the Anti-Tara despite the utter failure of Buffy/Riley when Riley was designed as the anti-Angel
In season 6 people disliked Buffy working fast food and have to worry about the house and bills.
So in season 7 he sticks her in a job she's unqualified for, wrecks the house constantly and just has Xander patch it up, and suddenly has her providing for dozens of girls
It's like "fine, you don't like my ideas, we'll just pretend those sorts of problems don't even exist"
On a bigger note, I also feel like with the consequences of resurrecting Buffy and Willow's over use of magic in season 6 of Buffy, and Jasmine's existence in season 4 of Angel kind of have a "don't play god" message to them
But then in Buffy season 7 you have the heroes altering the Slayer line forever, and in Angel you have the heroes messing with people's lives, letting an Old One exist in the world and triggering an apocalypse themselves. So, kind of playing god, you know

Hello everyone! I finally watched OUAT after years of putting it off but once I started, I could not stop watching it. However when I got to season 7 I could just not get into it… I know they did lots of flashbacks throughout seasons 1-6 but when it got to season 7, for me, it was just too confusing and I watched a couple of episodes and lost interest. I feel like the writers had done such a perfect job with the ending in season 6 and the show could have been left with that ending. What did you think about season 7? Should I go back and give it another chance? Does it get better? !No spoilers please just in case I do go back and watch it!

I’m a recently new viewer and I’ve completed season 8,9 and now 10. I’m probably gonna have to go backwards from where I started. What season has the most/best drama? I don’t know if I should do 5,6,7

Have some time to finally write a trip review for Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii for my honeymoon in December 2022 for two weeks. Mid December and left for home on Christmas Day. This was our first time redeeming cc points for anything, so lots of trial and error and lessons learned.
My wife and I had gotten married in October and were actually not planning going on honeymoon until Spring 2023 until we researched further and managed to make December 2022 work in our favor. We started planning and booking reservations TWO months before our trip. We are very fortunate to have done it in that time span and managed to make almost everything work out.
IAD - DTW - SEA - OGG on Delta, First Class One way.

• First time using a lounge ever was at DTW. We had access to the Sky Club there. Pretty good food here, very roomy. No time to lounge in Seattle
  
• only I used points for this one way flight. Transferred 95,000 Amex points to Delta. Wife paid $958 before tax for hers through the Amex travel portal. I think she got a steal as I had written on a note somewhere that the cash cost was $1533 through Delta directly but cannot remember if that was the increased price after purchasing the tickets or at time of purchase, otherwise it would have been 1.61 CPP.
  
• Very nice service in first class. Abundant alcohol and food was very nice as well.

Day 1
Got to Maui late in the night and picked up our rental car, a Chevy Equinox, with Enterprise. Used my Hilton Aspire to get 7x points.
One night at Courtyard Marriott by the airport and paid $500.
It was the best we could do with our timing.
Day 2 - 6
Breakfast and lunch was by the food trucks near Costco. Shopping nearby for supplies for our vacation.

5 nights at the Grand Wailea - 440,000 HH points
Left to check into our resort the Grand Wailea in Wailea. Both the wife and I are Hilton Diamond members. Mine through the Hilton Aspire and she has status through actual stays. We booked these nights through her account and using all Hilton points. Each reward night was 110,000 points and we got the 5th night free. So 440,000 points total.
This resort was huge and immaculate. Words can describe how nice this place is and the customer service is SUPERB. Literally, the best we have ever experienced. You only have to see and experience it for yourself. My wife and I still talk weekly about the Grand Wailea.
We booked the Terrace View - 1 King Bed as the Standard Night Reward and upon arrival we were upgraded to the Deluxe Ocean View - 1 King Bed in the Molokini wing. Breathtaking views! Avg cash price so this room type is around ~$988 before taxes, fees so it comes to 0.89 CPP (if not including taxes, fees in the total). All meals, incidentals, shopping, and experiences were put onto my Hilton Aspire. Daily food and beverage credit was $25 each for the two of us and used usually at their divine but pricey breakfast buffet. No resort fees charged for booking with points which saved us hundreds of dollars. We immensely enjoyed ourselves at this resort and the lush, manicured surrounding area.
Meals:

• Lineage Maui. A favorite in the Wailea area
  
• Morimoto - Maui. Getting the sticky ribs is a must. As well as the ishi yaki buri bop. The guy won Iron Chef because of that, apparently
  
• Wolfgang Puck's Spago at the Four Seasons. Got the best seat in the house here. Get the "Poke" cones and Hawaiian snapper
  
• Mama's Fish House. Literally the hardest restaurant to get on Maui. Must reserve 4-6 months in advance. I called two months before our trip and managed to get a table for the two of us for late lunch. We arrived and we got the best seat in the house overlooking the water! Shout out to Mike for his superb service.
  
• Lahaina Grill. Another favorite for tourists and locals
  

Experiences: renting a cabana at the Grand Wailea pool, spa day at the Four Seasons with outdoor hale beachside, Wailea Beach, hiking Twin Falls, Baby Beach, Haleakala National Park
Day 7 - 8
Two nights at the Hotel Wailea, Relais & Chateaux using Amex FHR.
Paid total ~$3400 for the One bedroom, Luxury Suite, Ocean View. Unfortunately, no upgrade upon checking in. Hotel was sold out. Daily breakfast in the form of $30 credit per person and $100 food/bev credit given through the FHR. This stay triggered the $200 FHR credit for my wife's Amex Plat
Quiet, small resort, adults only. We enjoyed our stay here and loved our room. Bed was harder than what we were use to and it was far from the beach. Otherwise we loved the restaurant and the ability to "get away". One of the top hotels in Maui and all of Hawaii. Price tag to boot.
Meals:

• The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea. Another great dinner watching the sunset
  
• Leoda's Pie Shop. Any pie is great, get the banana cream though. Lines out the door
  
• Merriman's Maui. Another top-notch restaurant with hard to get reservations. One of my personal favorites the whole trip. Another sunset dinner favorite
  

Experiences: cabana and pool day at Hotel Wailea, spa day at Montage Kapalua Bay. Outdoor hale with hot tub.
Big Island of Hawaii
Day 9 OGG - KOA (Big Island) round trip booked with Hawaiian Airlines. $106 for each of us before baggage fees. Booked direct using wife's Amex Plat.
Arrived to the Big Island and rented a Toyota Prius though Budget. Paid using Hilton Aspire.
Day 9 - 15
We booked the Hilton Waikoloa Village using all Hilton points, 6 nights in total with one night free. 350,000 pts in total used, 70,000 each night. Initially the standard room redemption was for the Palace Tower Resort View - 1 King Bed and was going for ~$540 a night before taxes/fees so CPP was 0.77. We realized even before our trip that the Palace Tower and old, needed a refresh, and was terribly far from the beach and the parking lot. We asked for an upgrade when we checked in and was given the option to move to the Makai Tower - Ocean View 1 King Bed for an additional $75 per night. We promptly took this offer. This room runs ~$694 per night before taxes/fees and if I subtract the $75 per night, I calculate this to be 0.88 CPP. The Makai tower was much better, our room overlooked the ocean and part of the resort. Frankly, Palace looked like dogshit. Daily F&B credit was $18 for each person. Incidentals again went onto my Hilton Aspire.
Towards the end of our stay, we stayed at the DoubleTree Hilo using 50,000 pts. Room rate was $308 before taxes/fess. CPP was 0.61. This was on the other side of the island and very far from Hilton Waikoloa so we decided to stay overnight there after hiking Volcanoes NP instead of driving to the west side in the middle of the night.

Experiences: Kauna'oa Beach, Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing (this is a must!!), Captain Cook monument snorkeling, Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National historical park, Punalu-u Black Sand Beach, Volcanoes National Park, Akaka Falls.
Trip home: OGG - LAX - IAD. United, First Class One way.

• Used 220,000 Chase UR rewards to redeem this flight for the both of us. Cash price of each ticket was ~$1485 before taxes/fess. CPP was 1.35
• Service was fine, food in 1st class was not very memorable.
• Did not have time to get into the Centurion lounge at LAX

Overall, an EXCELLENT trip. We were amazed and thrilled to do so much in two weeks and in such short notice. Again, only two months to plan once our dates were finalized. Between my wife and I, we have the Amex Plat and Gold, Hilton Honors and Aspire, and CFU, CSP. Each card strategically used during our trip. The FHR credit triggered for my wife, and my Aspire triggered the $250 resort credit. If I had to guess, we saved ~$15,000 or more by redeeming CC points.
