2023.06.08 21:41 Timtanoboa My Playthrough Stories: Part 1 (Pokémon Shield)

Alright so before I get deep into character there's some background I need to give in this "episode" so that y'all have the info you'll need for the other "episodes." Basically, all of them will start like this one, and then I will tell the stories in first person. This will either be really boring or pretty neat, so let's find out together! Also, I used a different name for every game, until Scarlet and Legends Arceus, where I started consistently using Timtanoboa. A few of the names I use are really dumb. Also, these will be in the order I played them (Sh, Sw, LGE, Sc, LA) and I have (unfortunately) never been able to play a Pokémon game not on the Switch. Alright, now to the less boring stuff.
Region: Galar
Name: TJH
Date of Obtaining Game: December 25th, 2019
Part 1: The Gym Challenge
In the Galar region, in a small town called Postwick, I started my Pokémon journey with Scorcher the Scorbunny. On Route 1, I caught Flynn the Nickit and Dr. Insector the Blipbug. Then on Route 2, I caught Little Turtle (this name is over the character limit but I don't remember how exactly I got around that so I'll be referring to her as Little Turtle the whole time) the Chewtle and Mr. Karp the Magikarp. Heading into the Wild Area, I caught Jackie Chan the Tyrogue (who would not actually receive his name until he evolved into Hitmonchan). Then, onto Route 3, where I caught Flame Bug the Sizzlipede. In the first Galar Mine, I caught Diggy Piggy the Diglet, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I made the entire game for a reason you'll see later. Route 4 is the first location where I didn't get a new Pokémon (that I named).
On to fight Milo, where I Dynamaxed Scorcher on Turn 1 and used a strategy that worked here and nowhere else: Max Flare, Max Flare, Max Flare. If memory serves, Scorcher and Dr. Insector evolved after this battle.
On the Bridge, after kicking He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named's rear, I caught Granny the Eldegoss. On to Hulbury!
Against Nessa, I used Granny and Dynamaxed Turn 1. I promise this is the last time I did this. But Max Overgrowth x3 worked here. Soon these battles get more interesting.
Through Galar Mine No. 2, I caught nothing. But in the Motostoke Outskirts, I caught Tox Hat the Koffing. Finally, I fought Kabu.
Here, I discovered that Dynamaxing Little Turtle and using Max Geyser three times wasn't going to work. So I had to train a bit. I don't remember the exact strategy I used, but I know that I got it on my second try, likely with help from Diggy Piggy. This marked the only time I struggled with Kabu.
In the Wild Area, I trained up many of my Pokémon, with Jackie Chan evolving into Hitmonchan. I know some other stuff happened, but I don't remember this playthrough well because it was a chaotic mess. Into and out of Hammerlocke in two shakes of a Wooloo's tail, and on to Route 6, where nothing happened. Time to fight Shy Guy Allister!
I remember nothing of this fight, other than that I completed it first try.
Before heading into the Glimwood Tangle, I sent many of my Pokémon on Poké Jobs, putting together a secondary team. If memory serves, this team included Mr. Karp, Tox Hat, Flynn, Diggy Piggy, and two other mons that I have forgotten about. Sad. This is where all of these mons evolved into their final forms, which I only remember because I sat through like three minutes of evolutions before challenging Opal.
The only information I remember about the Opal fight is that I failed the first two times because I didn't get the quiz questions right and every time included Tox Hat vs. her Weezing at some point. Badge 5, scored!
This next bit is where I started getting some real momentum before immediately dropping it. On Route 8, I caught Lots of Guys the Falinks.
Against Melony, I used Lots of Guys as my Ace, though I did get some great use of of Scorcher, who was now a Cinderace. At this point, assume all of my Pokémon are fully evolved unless I state otherwise.
Onto Route 9, where I got the funny water bike and Kar-Oct-E the Grapploct, who proved quite useful against Piers, who's fight went something along the lines of:
Kar-Oct-E used Close Combat. It's Super Effective!
Time to go back to Hammerlocke, where me catching Diggy Piggy comes back to be one of the best choices I made during this playthrough.
Against Raihan, I had a full team of six, including Diggy Piggy. I lost Scorcher after he Dynamaxed but was hit by Duraludon's Max Rockfall. So now, it was just Diggy Piggy vs. Duraludon. Diggy Piggy was at low health, and I only had one option: Fissure. And it worked! Heck yeah!
Then I lost all of this momentum and go hang out in the Wild Area for over a MONTH! I started progressing again when I went to a friend's house and he persuaded me to finish. He also helped by trading me Dreameater the Gengar. So I went to Wyndon, and caught nothing on the way. None of these battles are interesting. I won all of them first try and used nothing but brute force for them.
Part 2: The Past Game
Same goes for the post game. Onto the DLC!
Part 3: The Isle of Armor
I decided to reset my team and use new Pokémon for this. My "starter" was Sister, the Slowbro. Other team members include Mimikree the Zoroark, Armory the Urshifu, and No. 1 the Klefki, who was only named as such and only even mentioned because it was my first encounter on the Isle, after I closed my eyes and ran around until I bumped into something. There was also Titan the Wailord. Finally, there was Bulby the Venusaur. The Isle of Armor plot already isn't particularly anything, so nothing interesting happened. Maybe we should wait a few months for the next DLC...
Part 4: The Crown Tundra
Team Reset! Queen the Slowking was my "starter," and I used Pteranodon the Aerodactyl, Dinosawr the Tyrantrum, and other mons that I honestly don't care enough to look through the encounter rates of every CT area for. Legendaries caught, I began to do the Max Lair in hopes of finally having a challenge. This was where I caught two of my only three shinies on this file: Nimbus the Altaria and Cosmo the Starmie.

Alright that's all you can go home now.
Also no idea what to flair this as so... media?

2023.06.08 21:41 Impressive-Fox-6472 Why do men pretend they aren't interested?

24F here. I have been single for 2 years now and am looking to date, but I am not a fan of the apps. Therefore, I have resorted to meeting people naturally & I usually get approached at the gym. However, I have noticed that only men who don't attend my gym location often are the ones to approach me. The regulars that I see everyday/weekly will ignore me like I don't exist. I was told a month ago by a regular that I befriended that I am intimidating and thats why he didnt approach me, but I just don't buy it. There are a few men at my gym in my age range that I would love to get to know, but I am unsure if they are interested and not showing it. And why not just show it??
Note: Please refrain from giving me the advice to approach men first. I am old fashion 😂 Thanks!

2023.06.08 21:40 Upwithstock What does CYDY look like after the clinical hold is lifted?

I just wanted to share my opinion about what I think is about to unfold. As we wait for the inevitable news to be announced that the "Clinical hold is lifted by the FDA", what happens next? One of the most important steps with any biotech that is trying to increase its value is receiving its first regulatory approval. Once a regulatory approval is achieved with a drug like Leronlimab, future approvals are less cumbersome. Future submissions are more streamlined because you have completed and submitted the foundational work that all future submissions are based on with LL. I have mentioned this before, Hospital formularies are easier to orchestrate once you have a drug on the formulary. You are basically just adding approved indications onto those formularies. Insurance reimbursements become slightly easier with each subsequent approval. But, before you get approval CYDY has to finish what it has started in the developmental phases. Cyrus has laid out a plan to all of us and that is represented in the 12-7-22 Investor presentation that can be seen in the 8K filed with the SEC on 12-7-22. In a nutshell, he prioritized NASH, Oncology and HIV/ NASH, but since that 12-7-22 date we have seen evidence of HIV expanded to HIV-Prep and HIV CURE (long acting LL). Even evidence that a 3rd party co-development partner has been established but not formally announce for HIV long acting. Could it be VIR?
CYDY has completed a phase 2 Nash study that was well received by the NASH community. The Oncology data has blown away Dr. Stefan Gluck a long time KOL in the Oncology space and of course CYDY has achieved positive clinical results and safety profile in a phase 3 HIV combo study that is stat significant. But once the clinical hold is lifted we need funding to move the development of LL forward and across the FDA finish-line. Where could that funding be coming from?
1) Private funding from the sale of warrants ? There does not appear to be enough shares left for a full scale funding effort to perform trials in any one indication let along multiple indications.
2) Issue a ton more shares that dilutes shareholders? We are currently trading at a manipulated .25-28 cents . Issuing more shares only lowers that to low double digits or maybe single digits depending on the amount of shares issued. And if this was truly the case, we investors would have seen some sort of effort to increase the stock price. Any effort! But, we have not seen that at all. IMO it is because Cyrus is extremely confident that he has secured funding commitments that are contingent on the Lifting of the clinical hold.
3) Buyout from a Big Pharma player. It is possible, there are signs pointing in that direction. If you look at this link about 12 signs my company is going be bought out, CYDY fits the criteria on a lot of those: https://www.griproom.com/fun/12-signs-a-company-is-being-bought-out
3a) But I don't believe we are getting bought out. Cyrus has done too much work in other areas to support a buyout thesis.
4) Amarex settlement: For me, this one is tough to assess. The only thing I am COMPLETELY CONFIDENT in is CYDY wins this settlement by a 100 miles. The question is how much? And when does CYDY receive the settlement? These factors are too out of CYDY's control. I don't know if Cyrus can bank on the amount and the when to say that he feels funding is secured. Maybe I am wrong and you can know the outcome of arbitration settlements before they are actually settled. I do know that; losing companies have filed bankruptcies in order to avoid the pay out or lessen the ruling or further delay the payment. IMO, one of the many strengths I see in Cyrus is he is a talented business guy and you don't count the uncountable. He needs something that is more concrete.
5) That concrete evidence for Cyrus is in Partnerships. Something he has worked with in his past. IMO Cyrus is setting CYDY up for long term success. He and Team CYDY are building the foundation to support that long term growth and he laid evidence of that out in the 12-7-22 plan. The partnership plan is going to be a sophisticated web of different types of partnerships that will bring in multiple partners with each one having a different twist to the partnership agreements. Scott Kelly said there are a 1000 ways to do partnerships. Whether you like Scott Kelly or not; there are a variety of ways to structure these things.
SO what will CYDY look like after the clinical hold is lifted? I think it starts with LIVIMMUNE and HIV. There is a model of this with GSK, Pfizer and Shionogi. They have a joint venture together to form ViiV. Viiv is a HIV company that is broken up between: 76.5% of the company is now owned by GlaxoSmithKline, 13.5% by Pfizer and 10% by Shionogi. More ViiV info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ViiV_Healthcare
What is interesting about ViiV is that ViiV Healthcare's products have a market share of approximately 19%[3] of the global HIV market, making it the second-largest healthcare company, after Gilead Sciences, which is working on the treatment of HIV.[4]
This brings me back to points I made at the beginning of this post. CYDY needs to cross the FDA finish-line and get approvals. THE QUICKEST WAY to do that is the resubmission of HIV MDR BLA. All of the required documents for the lifting of the clinical hold are also required for the BLA submission. CYDY has done the work already for the BLA re-submission by submitting many of those documents for the Lifting of the clinical hold. This to me is a perfect first step in a new Joint venture (with a twist) that LIVIMMUNE and VIR could create. With a future pipeline of long acting LL. This strategy is a great way to get the first approval and have a distribution partner in VIR put in place. Much better than the distribution agreement that NP created and ended up with Regnum. As some will recall Regnum has absolutely zero experience in the HIV space and zero sales force.
Let me comment on the Joint Venture with a twist with VIR. CYDY needs funding and generally speaking when you have a joint venture the different parties bring something to the party. CYDY has the asset (LL) and the completed phase 3 HIV MDR study. But no money for operations or future development. Since we have the asset and a completed HIV study ready for a BLA submission and eventual future PDUFA date. VIR can pay CYDY to be a part of that. VIR gets access to a HIV approval that would happen around 18 months: (6-9 months for an accepted BLA submission and 6-9 months for a PDUFA date.) IMO CYDY gets some funding from VIR to be a part of the HIV program at LIVIMMUNE.
Just a FYI on VIR, the last 10Q showed approximately $2.4 billion in cash and investments, and $1.5 Billion in revenue. Surely they can fork over $65 -$150 million for the rights to be involved with LIVIMMUNE?
What about Merck and Keytruda? All we know is that MD Anderson did a combo study in Oncology with LL/Keytruda. I believe we will know more about all of that after the lifting of the hold. Plus a possible partnership with Merck.
Lately, while we wait for the inevitable news of the lifting of the clinical hold, we get more information on CCR5's involvement in a particular disease state. Oncology was just going be MTNBC, and MGK pointed out from the September 2022 CC "17:50: So the near term financing requirements for the company will be focused on re-entering clinical trials for NASH as expeditiously as possible. Now while we do plan to continue development in oncology, our focus will be toward certain solid tumors to insure that we can collect sufficient data in enough patients within select indications, namely, colorectal cancer, breast cancer and potentially in non-small cell lung cancer with combination agents. We said colorectal cancer or CRC, we will be looking at the metastatic, microsatellite stable population*. This represents about 85% of all the diagnosed cases of CRC. This particular segment of CRC hasn't seen any meaningful therapeutic advancement in nearly a decade. Yet, the Survival rates in that population have considerable room for improvement. In breast cancer, rather than focus on only the mTNBC population, which really only represents about 15% of the total growth cancer market and has seen increased competition advancements in check point inhibitors and antibody drug conjugates, we are going expand our focus into Hormone receptor positive HER2 negative population which stands for roughly about 70% of the total market. We believe that mCRC and mTNBC each represent large opportunity for leronlimab, and we believe that the mechanistic rationale for using the drug in those populations is quite strong for a CCR5 inhibitor. Let me be clear, that we intend to run these cancer studies over sufficient period of time to generate a robust and meaningful clinical data set that a potential partner would find compelling.*"
Multiple indications in Oncology and IMO means multiple potential partners in this space.
Once the Big Pharma players begin to really and I mean really understand the broad reach of LL and its effectiveness; They will want more of CYDY than ever before. They wont want to share indications and will have to step up in a BIG WAY to get their arms all the way around CYDY.
I have never been more confident than I am now about LL and the direction that we are headed. We are never going to be seeing this .26-.28 cents ever again.

2023.06.08 21:36 JJ_Reditt Westpac - The first confirmed AI layoffs.

AI related layoffs have been speculated about for a while, but this is interesting in the level of cold science Westpac have put into meticulously measuring the productivity improvements of AI on their tech teams, and subsequently commencing laying them off a week later:
Westpac, June 1
“We found that compared to the control team that just had coded it the normal way, we've got a 46 percent productivity gain across the board in terms of generative AI tools supporting the coding of these three teams that were given these tools, which is quite amazing," he said.
The productivity gain was accompanied by no noticeable drop-off in code quality.
"We scanned all the code for vulnerabilities, and looked at it from a maintainability and reliability point of view - all the key metrics that you might look at from when you look at code quality, and we saw no drop-off," Walker said.
Westpac, June 8
Westpac Banking Group is cutting 300 jobs from the "corporate functions" that service its consumer and business bank division, with IT staff among those impacted.
The cuts are being made as part of its reset program, first announced last year.
iTnews understands that mainly head office roles are impacted in areas such as change management, project delivery and program management.
Sources close to the bank told iTnews that a number of the cuts affect technology workers, though the exact breakdown could not be verified at the time of publication.

2023.06.08 21:36 IvyRoney A Guide to supplementing your income in the UK

I posted a list like this on the sub a while ago and it seemed to be helpful to a lot of people, so what I've done is expanded on all the ways one can earn extra money in the UK, and also separated them by category.
As always, the best advice for someone who needs more income is probably to get a better paying job or to work towards a promotion in their career, however, these things can also take quite a long time to achieve.
This list is for people who are looking for ways to supplement their income right now, and who would benefit from having a little extra each month to tide them over until their situation improves.
Anyway, Here is the list:

Testing:

(1) Usertesting:
With this site, you test out the usability of apps and websites and get paid for it. Many of the tests only take 10 minutes and pay around £8.50 per, which is really good. Of course, you won't qualify for every test you apply to, but even if you apply to 10 and only qualify for 1, you're still going to be earning around £8.50 for that half hour of your time, as it only takes a minute or two to apply for each test. There are also longer tests you can apply for, which pay much more.
Your work consists of interacting with 'prototype' or ‘in production’ websites or mobile apps while speaking out loud to share your thoughts, emotions, criticisms, and suggestions. For the longer tests, you will sometimes have to video call with someone while you are completing the user test, which may sound a little offputting at first, but you'll find that this actually makes the hour go much faster than if you were doing an hour of shorter tests.
(2) Userlytics:
Like with Usertesting, you are getting paid for your feedback as you test out the usability of apps and websites. Again, you will have to have your microphone (and sometimes video) enabled while you share your impressions of the video, website, prototype, app, etc. that you are testing.
This site also pays quite well for the time you need to put in per test. Typically, the shorter tests pay around £4-£8, while longer tests can pay up to around £70, though qualifying for these is not a common occurrence in my experience.
It's important to note, that with this site and all testing sites, different people will qualify for different tests based on the answers they give in the screeners, which determine if you are a suitable candidate for the test you're applying for. With this in mind, my advice is to stay determined and keep applying, because you never really know when you'll be the perfect candidate for a test, and sometimes the test you're a perfect fit for will be one of the highest paying.
(3) Intellizoom:
This site is very similar to the others in that you are being paid for your feedback. It contains "Think out Loud" studies which require you to talk as you complete various tasks. Like with the other testing sites, what you earn will depend on what studies you're a match for. This site doesn't have quite as high an earning potential as other testing sites, with studies that require you to record video and audio usually paying around £8.50, and standard studies paying around £1.50.
(4) Testingtime:
Again, with Testingtime, you're being compensated for testing apps, websites and other products. Your value as a tester comes from the fact that you're helping to influence the development of future products and services.
(5) Utest:
This isn't a site I see mentioned too often. It's essentially the same as the others in that you'll be matched with testing projects based on the information you've entered on your profile. The majority of projects involve functional testing, where testers use an app or website and look out for bugs and issues.

Projects & Tasks:

(1) Teemwork:
A crowd-sourcing site where you can complete various jobs and tasks. There is a great variety of jobs available, with tasks such as translation, evaluation, and video/audio collection showing up frequently. It would take a long time to list the all various tasks that appear on this site, as there really is a varied amount of work available on a daily basis.
This site pays very well for the time you put in, with many tasks paying £25-£30 for less than an hour of your time. When you first sign up, you may not see a huge amount of jobs available, but I would recommend checking back as often as you can, as some days there is a lot more available work than others. This site also pays out to Paypal.
(2) Appen:
This is a site where you can apply to work on various projects online, including social media evaluation, translation, data collection, surveys, paid conversation and many more. The rate of pay is very competitive, with some jobs paying up to £20 per hour. Most jobs pay around £11-£15 per hour (which is still great for online work) and I have not found it difficult to qualify for projects.
The potential earnings from this site over the course of a year can easily enter the £100s or even £1000s, so if it's not on your radar it really should be.
Apply for as many projects/tasks as you can, it's well worth taking the time to apply because even if you get one project, that can be hours of work at a great hourly rate.
(3) Clickworker:
Like others listed, Clickworker is a 'task for pay' site. Very similar to Neevo in that the tasks you perform are used to help train AI.
There's a decent variety of tasks available, my favourite being voice recordings of various sentences and phrases. There are also many tasks that revolve around taking photos of random things. The payment is fast and reliable and uses Paypal, never had any problems with these guys.
My advice is to get onto the UHRS section of the site to earn more money, there's a banner at the top of your jobs section which you can click to qualify for UHRS. You'll need to do a sort of exam to qualify, but it's mostly just a test of your English comprehension skills as far as I remember.
(4) Neevo:
Companies submit projects to Neevo to help improve their AI systems. When you’re a match for a project, you’ll be asked to complete a set of simple tasks, which could be in the form of text, audio, images or even video.
It's a straightforward 'task for pay' site. They payout through Paypal and the variety of jobs is good. I check this site every now and then, I know it's a smaller earner so I don't like to give it too much of my time. My advice would be to keep your eyes peeled for higher paying jobs that come along, Some of the lower paying tasks aren't really worth it for the time you need to put in.

Studies & Research:

(1) Prolific:
This is definitely one of the top paid study sites around. With Prolific you get paid cash for engaging in the research of Academics and Universities from around the world. There are Surveys and studies about scientific research, new products and public opinion. From minutes to hours, to multipart studies over longer periods, there's a respectable range of studies to participate in.
This site pays out to Paypal, it has a range of interesting surveys, and studies pay a minimum of £6.50 per hour. Each study or survey tells you the amount you'll be paid for completing the task and also gives you the hourly rate of said task, which is very useful.
If you compare Prolific to other Study/Research sites, like Respondent or User interviews, for example, you might at first notice that the pay per task is much lower. However, what sets Prolific apart from sites with higher paying studies is the frequency with which you'll receive tasks. I often leave the Prolific tab open while I'm working on something else, and it's not unusual to receive 5-6 short studies over a 2-3 hour time period. The advantage here is that you'll receive tasks based on the information you've entered on your profile, whereas on other paid research sites, you would be applying for higher paying tasks with screeners, but it may not be often that you get accepted for the studies you apply for.
(2) Respondent:
I'm sure some of you have heard about Respondent, It's a site where you get paid for taking part in various studies. The studies can be both remote and in-person but these days most of the available studies are remote.
It doesn't take long to apply to studies so even if you don't qualify, you haven't wasted too much time. Also, the pay is excellent when you do qualify, with studies generally paying between £10-£150, depending on the type of study and the amount of time it takes (Generally ranges from 15-90 minutes).
It's not really a site that you can depend on for frequent payouts, but even if you land a few studies that pay £60 or £70 each, you're doing very well for the time you put in, so I do think this one is worth checking every day if you have 5 minutes to spare.
(3) User Interviews:
User Interviews is a site where you get paid to take part in various studies. There are normally a lot of studies available to apply for and the screeners are usually short and sweet.
This one has a high earning potential, due to the vast variety of study topics offered on the site. If you check your homepage frequently enough, it won't be long before you find a study that is looking for an applicant with your background/interests. Studies can pay anywhere from around £8-£200.
(4) Grapevine Panel:
A market research site where you get paid for your input as you participate in group discussions and one-to-one interviews. You'll be notified by email when projects become available and it pays quite well for the time you put in.
(5) Dscout:
So with this site you are rewarded for helping with Market Research. The way this works is that you are given "missions" where you offer your opinions/feedback on various products or services in exchange for payment.
The Pay is good and the payout is received promptly through PayPal. I also like that you answer photo and video questions, it keeps me a bit more engaged.
Although the pay per task is reasonable, I wouldn't say that the frequency of available tasks is its strong point. Check as often as you can for available missions and apply for all of them. It may take a little bit of time to get your first mission but once you do, more and more will appear.
(6) Angelfish Opinions:
Another market research site where you get paid to take part in focus groups and surveys. Pays £1-£100 per task.
(7) People for Research:
Get paid to take part in market research. This site pays very well, with many projects offering £40-£80 per hour.
(8) Focus Force:
A research group that pays for your opinions and various products and services.
(9) Focus 4 People:
Get paid up to £150 for your participation in various research projects.

Surveys:

(1) Qmee:
A site/app where you get paid to help influence products and services by completing surveys. One of the stand-out advantages of Qmee is that you can cash out whenever you like, from as little as 1p, and it also pays out to Paypal.
There is usually a decent amount of surveys available, and for a paid survey site, the pay is relatively good.
(2) Attapoll:
An app where you get paid for answering surveys.
The surveys have a star rating so you can see which ones are most popular amongst users. The payout is fast and I find myself using this app more and more when I'm doing idle things like taking the train or on lunch break.
You can cash out to Paypal once you have earned £3. As with the majority of paid surveys, you're certainly not going to earn a fortune, but if work is scarce on some of the higher earning sites, then it's always good to have these types of tasks as a safety.
(3) Lifepoints:
Another reliable Survey site, You share your opinions on numerous products and brands and get paid for it.
There's a nice variety of surveys available every month and at certain points throughout the year larger surveys appear which pay quite well, it's just a matter of checking your jobs page often enough to catch these. Also Pays out through Paypal.
My advice would be to be patient. Some days it may seem that there are very few surveys available, but check back the next day and there could be much more after appearing.

Transcription:

(1) Rev:
With Rev, you'll be paid to transcribe speech in audio and video files. If you're unfamiliar with this type of work, all it is is converting speech into text, like creating subtitles for a video, for example.
As a Transcriptionist, you can earn around 20-90p per audio/video minute. As a Captioner, you can earn around 40-90p per audio/video minute. If you also know a foreign language, then you can earn even more. This site pays out to Paypal weekly.
(2) Way With Words:
This is another popular transcription site. You'll earn around 35p-£1.50 per audio minute, depending on the project, and you'll be paid into your bank account monthly.

Content Moderation:

(1) Modsquad:
This is a site where you get paid to moderate content and help manage various online communities. The upside of this type of work is that it's flexible and you can choose projects that align with your own interests and knowledge.
The amount you earn depends on what kind of project you're working on and what skills you have. If it sounds like something you might be interested in, then all you need to get started is a computer, an internet connection, and a phone.
(2) Crisp Thinking:
With Crisp Thinking, the type of work you're applying for is something known as a 'Risk Analyst Contractor'. I know, it sounds like a very niche type of job, but in fact, it is content moderation just like Mod squad.
Essentially your role is to identify risks in online content. You can apply for this project by joining the waiting list on Crisp Thinking, found at the bottom of the 'careers' page, reading: 'If you wish to apply for freelance moderation work, find out more here'
I have read that this work pays very well, which is why there is usually a waiting list, but if it sounds like something you could see yourself doing in your spare time, then you might as well apply and hope for the best.

Freelancing:

(1) Fiverr:
Offer your services as a Freelancer and get paid. You can earn a lot from the "gigs" you post, but you'll need to have some kind of service you can offer that people will pay for. I'd recommend taking a look at what other people are posting and seeing if you could offer similar work.
You'll need to think of some kind of service that you can charge money for, but this can be just about anything. This also means that there's unlimited earning potential because you're creating your own work.
(2) Freelancer:
Another great site where you can offer your services as a Freelancer. You can post projects offering whatever category of skill you possess, be it ghostwriting, programming, data entry, or blogging. If you have a service to offer, then you can get paid for it on this site.
Like with Fiverr, I would recommend taking a look at the home page of the site to see what kind of services other users are offering. This will likely give you some ideas of the type of projects you could post, because even if you don't think you have a skill you could charge money for, you probably do.
(3) People Per Hour:
I like this one because you can send proposals to complete a certain task. For example, you might see a post where someone wants a person to write social media posts or proofread a piece of work.
There's always a good variety of jobs available, and the more you build up your profile, the more work you'll get.
(4) Guru:
Another popular freelancing site. Essentially the same as Fiverr or Freelancer.

Selling/Renting:

(1) Vinted:
This is a great Site/App where you can sell your old clothes. Maybe it doesn’t sound like your thing or you don’t think you have anything fashionable enough to sell. Believe me, You can sell any item of clothing here.
I’ve sold clothes here in the past and have been pleasantly surprised with a nice few sales. The process of signing up and getting started selling is very easy, and the items of clothing you list will likely receive attention even if you aren’t a top seller.
(2) Facebook Marketplace:
Sell your old stuff. This one should honestly be mentioned in every thread where someone has asked how to make some extra cash in a hurry.
We all have stuff we don't use anymore lying around the house and as obvious as it may sound, the items that seem old and worthless to you will be new and exciting to someone else.I'm talking anything, literally anything: Old clothes, books, plant pots, gadgets you don't use anymore, furniture, homemade crafts etc.
Old Clothes seem to really sell fast, which isn't surprising because people get excited when they see something that's their style and really cheap. So clear out your wardrobe.
If you're into crafts, you could sell stuff you've made there too. The point is, You could easily make £50-£100 or more if you do a thorough sweep of your house for stuff you don't want/use anymore.
(3) Fat Llama:
This is a site where you can rent out pretty much anything. I first discovered it when I was trying to find a cheap place to rent some tools.
You can browse the site and see what kind of things other people are renting out, you'd be surprised by the number of items in your own home that you might not have use for but others would be happy to rent from you for the day.

Something Different:

(1) Rover:
This one is quite a great site where you can offer your services as a dog sittedog walker. You can have dogs dropped off at your home and get paid to look after them for a duration of time. It's ideal for people who miss having pets or who get a bit lonely working from home, etc. The pay is usually around £20 per day for dog sitting, maybe £6-£10 for dog walking. If you're at a loose end anyway or just feel like having a furry companion during your free time, This site is a nice way to earn a little money and make some canine friends.
You just make a profile and enter your address so people in your area can find you, Bonus points if you have a dog in your profile photo with you.
(2) My Tutor:
MyTutor is an online-tutoring site, I don’t see this site mentioned a whole lot but it really is a gem. This one is ideal for students and recent graduates, but if you have skills or knowledge in any teachable subject then you should check it out. You don’t need any previous experience as a tutor to work here.
You can earn up to £20 per hour and the work is rewarding and meaningful because you are helping others to learn. It’s also very “social” online work, which some people may see as a nice change.
Also, If you like the idea of tutoring but don't have knowledge in any of the teachable subjects listed on My Tutor, There is also the option of teaching ESL, which you can do a quick TEFL course on and may be worth the investment if you think you'd be interested in that type of work. It can be quite a good earner too. You can do these classes freelance or work for an online company such as Preply or Hallo.

Referral Offers:

The offers below will allow you to earn around £150. This is a handy list if you need to earn a decent amount of money in a short amount of time. For some of these offers, you can withdraw the money you earn back to your bank account on the same day, but for some of the offers on the list, it will take longer.

Bank Switching:

Bank switching has become quite well known on the sub, but understandably a lot of people are hesitant to try it out because it seems like too much effort or because it may affect their credit score.
I have done a few bank switches in the past year, and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were. It's essentially free money for what usually amounts to less than an hour of your time.
The only thing I would say is that if you're applying for a mortgage soon, it is probably best to give these a miss, as they may affect your credit score.
With that said, Bank switching is a great way to earn a decent amount of extra cash (Up to £850), and you can actually earn more from these switch offers if you sign up through cashback sites, so you should check if there is a cashback offer available on Topcashack, Quidco, etc. before completing each switch.
Note: Below are short summaries of the requirements for each bank switch, however, you should go to the wesbite of each bank mentioned below and read the full details of each switch before you complete it.

(1) First Direct Switch: £175
Switch an existing bank account to First Direct, Pay £1000 into the account within 3 months of switching, and Receive £175 to your account.
(2) Co-op Bank: £125
Switch to Co-op Bank through a refer a friend link, Set up 2 direct debits, Deposit £800, Make 5 card payments and register for online banking. Then complete an online form with your details ( name, switch date and account number) and you'll receive £125 to your account.
(3) Lloyds Bank: £150
Switch to a Lloyds Club account. You don't have to set up any direct debits or deposit any amount of money, but this account does have a £3 monthly fee, so you'll probably want to downgrade as soon as you receive the £150 bonus, which should be within 10 working days of your switch.
(4) HSBC: £200
You need to: Switch to HSBC, Be approved for an optional arranged overdraft, Set up two direct debits and Deposit £1500 within 60 days. You will then receive a £200 bonus to your account.
(5) RBS/ NatWest/ Ulster Bank: £200
You can only receive the £200 switching bonus from one of these 3. In order to get the bonus you must: Switch an existing account, Deposit £1250 within 60 days, and Log onto mobile banking within 60 days. You will then receive £200 to your account.

That's all that I can think of right now for this list. I hope this post is of help to some people and if you have any questions about anything I mentioned just ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Thanks for reading.

2023.06.08 21:35 makrela122 Let's just talk about their relationship "struggling" series...

Not only did they ditch the alphabet dates after like four letters, they also expect ppl to forget they ever struggled in the first place... and I'd let that one pass, but apparently they figured the only way to fix the issue caused by being overworked because of a newborn was getting another newborn.

2023.06.08 21:35 Mac_Kymera Why am I (27M) overthinking hard about this girl (21F) who rejected me when she wanted me so badly?

So I (27M) asked a coworker (21F) out; yes bad call I know, but only because I heard from a friend that she liked me and hoped that I would ask her out a some point, so I did, plus I thought she was cute.
We went out and she didn’t really talk much. She told me that she found me attractive and wanted to spend some time with me. She wanted to know about my past relationships and I thought it was abit odd that she brought that up on a first date. She didn’t really give me any time to talk to her or ask her questions as she just wanted to play pool and then mini golf. This kinda made me feel uneasy and I went quiet as she didn’t want to talk about anything but I played it by ear.
She got abit tipsy, not drunk though. She kept touching me near the end of the date and wanted food. After we got food she teased me and said let’s go back to my place. All of this told me she just wanted sex, so I thought well might aswell shoot my shot and see what happens.
We go back to hers and then I made a move and she reciprocated. When I tried to take her top off she said no were coworkers and it’s not right we do this. I didn’t kick up a fuss, I just said I’m going to meet up with some friends so have a good weekend. I kinda feel abit led on by everything since founding out she liked me and what she’s been saying to me. Her actions are not matching her words.
Next night she texted me saying thank you for the date. I reciprocated. Now I felt like I should give it another go and give her another chance seeing as maybe she was just shy or not feeling well or not feeling herself. Plus getting tipsy too early in the date was abit silly from her.
I rung her two days later and said how about we do it again sometime and she said yes I would love to. I was taken aback but said when are you free and she said any day this week as I don’t really do much in the week. So I made the date for 4 days later. Come the day of the date she texted me saying I’m not well and will have to rain check. I thought well a rain check is good. I said no worries let me know and she said thanks for understanding. Then she proceeds to actively avoid me everywhere we go, keeping her head down, not saying anything etc. I texted her a week later saying my schedule is abit tied up next week so how about that rain check this week? She said somethings happened in my life and I cannot date you. I didn’t get perturbed and just wished her well. Said to her keep my number if you wish if you change your mind.
Funny enough I met a new girl the next day. But this coworker just actively avoids me every time we cross paths. She makes it awkward to be around. I always smile but that’s it to show I’m not bothered, plus she knows I’m seeing this other girl now so there is no reason to be spiteful or bitter to her. I just am confused as to why she is so awkward and distant.
How does a girl go from wow he’s attractive I hope he asks me out, to wanting sex and then declining him, then says yes to a second date only to then reject and ignore him? I really don’t get it or her.

2023.06.08 21:35 schmultron A research project on preserving fan communities on social media

Hi! My name is Shirley Chan, and I am a PhD student at Lund University in Sweden. My study focuses on information produced by online communities on social media platforms, specifically fandoms and the challenges of capturing community narratives for the future.
What is the project about?
Challenges in preserving digital information arise as content is easy to distribute and edit, containing textual, visual, and moving media. It also characterises social media sites, which leads to difficulties in documenting the original context of the content. Due to the dynamic nature of digital information and social media sites, social and cultural expressions risk becoming inaccessible soon, for example, the cultural practices found in the multiple online fan communities. In recent years, discussions have also been concerning preserving information created on social media, highlighting legal and user-privacy concerns. At the same time, the extensive documentation and storage of user information on social media have received public and research attention. How can social media's user-generated content and user data be understood currently and in the future? What challenges do these types of information bring?
As a previous participant in fan communities, I think fan culture is crucial to document as it shows multiple ways to engage with culture. Still, it highlights the creativity and sense of community arising from being a fan. Therefore, I would like to study Marvel communities on Tumblr and Reddit to see how communities within the same fandom look on different platforms. Furthermore, it can help me identify the challenges of capturing community narratives on different structured social media platforms.
I choose to study communities surrounding the Marvel franchise to do this study. When starting this project, I wanted to learn more about communities I had no previous experience with. Thus, I found the Marvel studios subreddit interesting since much activity and content was produced. My personal connection with the Marvel universe is via the MCU franchise, primarily the movies (the first Marvel movie I saw was GotG!). However, I have been quite selective with what releases to watch until this project. When starting this project back in the fall of 2020, I decided to watch all the marvel movies and series in release order to understand the topics discussed in the Marvel communities. I would say that I got pretty immersed in the Marvel universe after watching all the movies and series released so far (it took a couple of months).
How is material collected?
From June 2021 to May/June 2022, I conducted field observations and 14 interviews with participants of this subreddit, offering great insights into the community's activities and how Reddit is understood and utilised by its users.
The field notes and interview transcripts are safely stored on Lund University's servers and pseudonymised, which entails removing any personal information linked to the participants' physical identities and/or usernames.
How is the project going?
Last year I processed, transcribed, and coded some of the collected material and began writing on the analysis. In May/June of the same year, I wrapped up the field observations, which offered great insights into your community’s activities and how its users understand and utilise Reddit. Currently, I am continuing with the analysis and writing of the thesis, focusing on processing field notes taken during the observations. I might also revisit your community if needed.
Participation is voluntary! You are welcome to message me here on Reddit if you have any questions or want to opt-out of the project entirely - any information connected to you and your activities on Reddit will not be included in the collected material. There is a longer description of my thesis project via my Lund University website if you want to read more: https://www.kultur.lu.se/en/person/ShirleyChan/
Thanks in advance!

2023.06.08 21:31 Igaveuponlivinglife This has been a very lonely summer

I did go on my first date, it was alright, but other than that I've been nothing. 2021 and 22 were exception years since because I joined cross country by complete coincidence. It was the first time I had social circle since late 2017. I'm out school, which means I'm completely alone again. The only things I do are go for runs, walks, use my phone, and play videogames. I'm completely bored of shit now, but I have nothing better to do. If I had been more social in school, perhaps I wouldn't have been in this situation. The social aspect of school is highly underrated in my opinion. My biggest regret is being an awkward loner in my middle, along with most my highschool years. Being in so much isolation messed up my development and I can't make up for my lost time. I'm not ever getting those social opportunities again. My only saving grace is college, though I'm not going, so it's completely over for me.

2023.06.08 21:29 abossbish Finally got my payments from the DEO FL after them holding it hostage 😌

I am so happy to say after days on end of no payment at all. I finally got my damn payments! I been waiting since September 2022 for unemployment payments. I kept filing bi-weekly and my $900.00 overpayment fee was waived as well.
I did the calling for months of the DEO FL but got through April 2023 to speak to the useless agents after waiting hours, they kept escalating my case like 3x then still no payments or follow-ups. I asked them why are they keep escalating when my claim was “active”and under: “eligible redetermined”. It was a lot of excuses on their end.
So I finally started to search through the web for answer and google popped up the main unemployment subreddit for more in depth answers. I found a guy he is very helpful the best way he could named: u/SoThenIThought_
So, I first contacted my Florida house representative and my FL Senate through email.
This started on May 23, 2023 when I found a post by u/SoThenIThought_ who has helped other states here on Reddit recover their funds from the unemployment offices in America period regardless of the state. I tagged him so he can add a success escalation for Florida.
I live in south Florida region, so I had to contact my senator and house representatives. I found my specific house representatives here https://www.myfloridahouse.gov/FindYourRepresentative.
I emailed them my claim information, missing payment dates, and explaining how I’ve called many times/ been claiming for months with no payments being issued. I then got a response a day later from my Senator legislative aide, (actual message):
“Good afternoon,
Thank you very much for reaching out to the office regarding this issue with your unemployment claim. I have submitted a claim to DEO and ask that they assist with this issue as soon as possible. They should be reaching out to you directly to resolve this issue. I hope they will be able to assist you in a timely manner, please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,”
So, I didn’t receive a response from the DEO Department still. So, I did email my house representative with the same information then I decided to call a day later. My house representatives was very nice and attentive. She forwarded over all my information to the DEO FL Director, we waited since it was Memorial Day coming up that Monday. I didn’t get nothing then she contacted me, and told me she resent it again as urgent.
Finally, I got a call from the DEO on Tuesday June 6, 2023 @3:04pm. The agent reconfirmed all my information, they let me reclaim other dates that I missed when I had that overpayment on my claim. The agent just asked about certain jobs, then she told me “unfortunately, they couldn’t give me funds” LOL 😂. I was pissed off because she claim the job that laid me off it didn’t make enough. She said I could create a appeal in the future.
I recalled/emailed my House Representative and Senator told them this useless agent claim,I wasn’t able to be approved for money. My senator aide contacted them again on my behalf and said they will keep pushing to help me. They did say if I needed an appeal they would’ve pushed for it to come fast but instead they got me my payments after reconnecting the director of the DEO FL.
Next thing you know I see a payment today Thursday June 8,2023 @6:00am in my bank account, I was so thankful and happy. They are issuing my payments day by day, mind you my benefits stays changed to “exhausted - $0.00”. My weekly payments status changed from “disqualified” for 40 weeks to now “payable- direct deposit”. I’m owed $11,000.00 which I am receiving thanks to my senators.
I just wanted to share this to know it works. It took for me 2 weeks 2 days for the DEO for this process. It may vary for different people. So I called my House of Representatives (Latueshia Clark) and emailed them then my Senator (their aide Sean) it was email. I was communicating with both all through the process.

What Transformers: Rise of the Beasts About:

Optimus Prime and the Autobots take on their biggest challenge yet. When a new threat capable of destroying the entire planet emerges, they must team up with a powerful faction of Transformers known as the Maximals to save Earth. For a while, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts looked like it might be another Bumblebee--a Transformers movie that lacks any of the pizzazz of the Michael Bay flicks but which actually tells a decent story about characters you actually care about. For the first 45 minutes to an hour, we get the most compelling and relatable version yet of the story about a regular person accidentally becoming friends with an alien robot who was secretly a car. But then the plot really kicks in, and suddenly we're watching a Michael Bay Transformers movie--but without Bay's skill as an action filmmaker.
It’s a tale as old as time: A human character stumbles upon a group of Transformers that includes Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and Bumblebee (voiceless yet again), and gets roped into their battle with an evil faction, which inevitably involves a race for a piece of Transformers tech that has the power to destroy the world.

2023.06.08 21:29 AnnoyedNurse2021 MIL ruined me and SILs relationship and now she’s trying to ruin my friendships… I think

This starts back 12 years ago when I was 16 and SIL was 14. SIL struggled to make friends and only had one friend. I enjoyed both my SIL and her friend so I started including them in my friend groups activities. This went on for a couple of years until my MIL started hating me and giving me the cold shoulder out of nowhere. Eventually SILs one friend stabbed her in the back and slept with SILs boyfriend. This ended that friendship and SIL was left with no friends, and very understandably devastated. I kept including her with my friends even though MIL was being so cold to me. Eventually I started feeling tension from my SIL, and this led to me cutting off all communication with her as well as with my MIL. My friends were obviously on my side and also stopped communicating with SIL. College happened, my husband and I moved in together and a few years pass of me having no contact with SIL or MIL. It was great, honestly. Well, then the friend who stabbed my SIL in the back ended up dating the cousin of my husband and SIL. My husband and I were super close with this cousin so this led to me getting close with SILs ex-friend. SIL was completely out of our lives by this time and she never had a close relationship to this cousin the way myself and my husband did. So none of us really thought anything of it. Plus, by this time, we are all into our 20s (including SIL). Well, one evening the 4 of us (myself, husband, his cousin, and SILs ex-friend) are eating at a restaurant, and MIL, FIL and SIL all walk in together. I guess, according to MIL, SIL burst into tears the moment they got seated. MIL made sure to text us and tell us how horrible we were being to SIL by eating with “those people”. We had ate several dinners with them at this point and were fairly removed from my husbands parents and sister. Anyways, we keep eating out with them (secretly) and they eventually get engaged. Of course, they want husband and I in their wedding. MIL catches wind of this and forbids us from even being guests at their wedding. She has the power of dangling my husbands inheritance and trust over his head, and she made sure to do that. Allll on behalf of SIL. She encouraged SIL to reach out to my friend group (still the same friends from when I was a teenager) to see if she could start getting included again. None of them responded to her. My MIL then writes letters and mailed them to my friends to ask if they can still include “sis”. None of them responded, and they were super weirded out at this point. Husband and I are forced to end communication with his cousin and SILs ex-friend (who at this point she now has the SAME last name as my husbands family 😂). This was a terribly sad distance to force and I cried many times. Well, now it’s been a few more years and husband and I have a daughter. Also, husbands cousin and his wife (SILs ex-friend) have a daughter. We have all been chatting again and we really want to get our daughters together to meet for the first time. MIL has absolutely forbid this and says we can count ourselves out of the inheritance if we do this. SIL and her husband live in a house at the end of MIL and FILs driveway. Idk what the big deal is if we reconnect with this cousin and his family.

2023.06.08 21:27 KingDannyOfLeon Trigger warning: Disappointed and confused neuroprevalent spouse seeking honesty, whether hope or clarity

I am the neurotypical husband in my still-new marriage. My wife is as sure as one can be without a diagnosis that she has ASD (is looking into diagnosis routes currently). For my part, there were a lot of questions we both had about her body, mind, emotions, nervous system, and I feel like ASD answers every single question. I am also as sure as I can be without a diagnosis.
I have a lot of anxiety associated with ASD because the only exposure I had to it growing up was a family where the oldest son is autistic and developmentally stuck at the age of 2 (he is older than me) and the mom would have frequent meltdowns and chronic fatigue. In hindsight, I now believe the mom also is autistic, and to my knowledge still masks it. I don't know that she has considered the possibility that she is on the spectrum herself. She was the only person I knew with chronic fatigue, she raised her oldest son almost by herself (her husband also had some aloof and distant behavior, I don't know that he had ASD as well), melting down all the time, usually sleeping in a separate room from her husband, where she could have more peace and be alone.
With that context, just a month before our engagement, my wife began experiencing a strange burnout and fatigue that doctors were confused about. They thought it was mono, then thyroid problems, then gut flora, then anxiety/depression... Currently, her doctor just thinks she has a sensitive nervous system and doesn't even like to think in terms of ASD because it's a label that puts her in a box. My anxiety has been triggered for nearly three years now, worrying about re-living the lives of that family I was exposed to (actually lived with them for a year). Of course, we've come to recognize my wife's fatigue as autistic burnout.
When we fell in love, I knew she was quirky. She is the sweetest partner I can imagine. She is supportive and was adventurous with me. Adventurous in the little ways that matter most to me. Some of our first outings were at concerts and bars. The first time we held hands was in the pit at a Muse concert (not known to be a calm environment). Early on in our relationship, I saw her handle stressful and depressing situations like feeling lost in the wrong major in college; she handled it, found the right major for herself and finished well. I saw her as strong and adventurous, fell in love with her, we dated for a little over 2 years, and got married.
I wasn't going to call off the engagement because she had what we thought was mono, which left her feeling very tired. I wasn't going to call off the wedding when we started thinking her tiredness was from Hashimoto's. But she has never been the same. She can't handle anything longer than a 30 minute walk. Far less stressful things than depression in college completely wipe her out. She hasn't been able to properly hold a job. She sometimes struggles to sleep and goes to the couch instead of staying in bed with me. And she's very demand-avoidant; we rely on two incomes, and she shuts down easily if I try to gently remind her that we need her to find a job. I get that she wants to take her time and not stress herself out settling for a job she doesn't like, but landlords and car dealerships don't care about any of this—the bill still has to be paid.
In the midst of this, I'm left thinking this is not the person I thought I was marrying. I am the saddest twenty-something I know, reading stories about people with Cassandra Syndrome and failed marriages because the neurotypical spouse gets fed up of always being the one who has to bend to the needs of the neurodivergent partner. I understand she has needs—we all do. But I'm left feeling like this is not really a partnership. And I'm realizing that the adventurous part of her that could just pick up and go on a ride with me without freaking out, the one who went to rock concerts with me and fun walks out in nature, and exploring the city, the one who had hopes and dreams and was studying to make them come true, the one I could trust with our eventual children if I'm away for work, the one who I could lean on to do the other part (not even necessarily half, but part) of adulthood with me, my best friend... All of that is gone, and I don't see a lot of hopeful stories out there.
So many people go years and years like this only for the neurotypical to hold on long enough for kids to grow up, and then they get a divorce anyway. Am I accurately seeing what's just around the corner for us if we don't separate? She says she won't always be this way, this tired and destabilized, this unmotivated, and she is of course offended when I say it's hard for me to believe her when she says that. After all, this has now been most of our relationship. I don't want to separate, but I'd rather do that than spend 20 years miserably holding on, waiting for kids to grow up, feeling like I'm raising them by myself, only to divorce once my life is half spent. Is there hope? Will she manage? Will she be an actual partner? Or should I thank my lucky stars we realized this only a couple years into our marriage and jump ship while I still have my sense of self?
Obviously I'm not trusting the future of my marriage to a reddit vote, but if you have experience in a neurodiverse marriage, I'd love to hear some honesty. Hope or cold clarity, but honesty.

Transformers: Rise of the Beast is expected to be available to watch via streaming on Paramount Plus by September 9, 2023. Paramount+ is where Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will stream upon its release. Paramount has been in charge of the Transformers movie franchise since it began in 2007 and thus is responsible for releasing every entry in theaters. While the studio might have previously sent its movies to other streaming services like Netflix, the shift to focus more on the development of its own streaming service Paramount+ has changed this tactic. That is why Paramount has released its other major recent blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick or Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on Paramount+ after their theatrical runs conclude.
Want to know how to watch the Transformers movies in order before Rise of the Beasts roars into theaters? You've come to the right place. The seventh entry in Paramount Pictures' Transformers film franchise arrives in cinemas worldwide on Friday, June 9, so you don't have much time left to watch its predecessors at home. But, if you're planning to cram them all in before catching Transformers: Rise of the Beasts this weekend, we're here to help you work out how to watch them in chronological and release date order, and we'll also tell you which of the world's best streaming services have them as part of their movie libraries.
So, if you're ready to be reunited with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and company – and get the lowdown on every Transformers film to be released so far – read on.

Here's How and Where You Can Watch All of the Transformers movies

The best place to start is finding out where you can watch all of the Transformers movies in order in the comfort of your own home. If you're subscribed to Paramount Plus, that's your answer – well, for five of the six films, anyway. Paramount's primary streaming platform is home to the Michael Bay-directed trilogy – Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The streamer's film library is also home to the two Mark Wahlberg-starring flicks, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight.
● Transformers (released on July 3, 2007)
● Revenge of the Fallen (released on June 24, 2009)
● Dark of the Moon (released on June 29, 2011)
● Age of Extinction (released on June 27, 2014)
● The Last Knight (released on June 21, 2017)
● Bumblebee (released on Dec. 21, 2018)
Potential users looking to watch this quintet of movies will want to check out our Paramount Plus price guide to see how much it costs to sign up. Alternatively, you can get the lowdown on whether a Paramount Plus free trial is available, so you can try the service out without paying any money to stream the movies. Unfortunately for Paramount Plus UK and Australian-based users, the sixth entry in the action sci-fi franchise, 2018's Bumblebee, isn't available on British shores as part of the package.
US subscribers can catch Bumblebee on Paramount Plus (and Fubo, for what it's worth), but UK and Australian fans will have to look elsewhere to get the full Transformers movies in order experience. Here's where UK and Australian viewers can watch Bumblebee instead:
● Australia – rent or buy via the Amazon, Apple TV Google Play, Microsoft, or YouTube stores
● UK – rent or buy via the Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, Microsoft, Rakuten, Sky, or YouTube stores

Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Be On HBO Max?

No, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Paramount Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Disney may have made billions with last year’s mega-blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water, but for now it’s going to share the streaming success. The Steven Caple Jr. directed sequel is coming to streaming on September 11 and though the film was distributed by Disney, Disney+ won’t be the only place to see it. You can see it there as well as Max, aka HBO Max.

Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Available On Hulu?

Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.
No, 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' is unavailable on Hulu. People who have a subscription to the platform can enjoy 'Afro Samurai Resurrection' or 'Ninja Scroll.'
