She had a crush on me and I was interested but then she ghosted me?
I got ghosted - should I move on or try and talk to her again?
It all starts with a mutual friend of hours who happens to work at the same company as me. Me and him aren’t super close, but we’re what you’d call great work friends. He’s my favorite coworker, I see him on the way to work as he lives a bit closer so we usually meet up and walk the final leg. A coffee buddy, but not necessarily a go out party buddy or anything like that. He’s a few years my senior and has kids and a wife putting him in a completely different stage in life.
Anyway, the story goes that he mentioned someone who lives in my building I think he went to college with, but I get the impression it was more so a friend of his wives who also went to the same school. I had never paid attention to this girl, but seen her a few times around the high rise. You know like when you see a person and you’d recognize them, but wouldn’t do anything beyond that. I don’t recall if I ever even said hello. Again it’s one of those things, IDK why, but some people I say hello to right when I get on the elevator others I don’t.
He mentions her and how she said “who’s that guy he’s so handsome” and said she’s been crushing on me or a secret admirer I guess you’d call it. He first told me this at the end of April.
Well, finally I met her bumping into her I introduced myself we chatted for a couple mins and that was that. Again, a few days later I ran into her in the package room we rode the elevator up and just said hello. Not too much at all.
I felt like after the first interaction things were good, I think she knew I’d heard obviously what my friend had said but wasn’t awkward at all. We just smiled she said her name etc.
Next thing you know, she’s popping up everywhere on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, so a couple days after I see this I shoot her a follow request on Instagram. I check back the next day, still on requested. Then, the following day I go back and it says follow. WTF? Did I just get ghosted?
Also, I shot her a funny message on our housing portal app it’s like a community app where we submit vendor tickets, pay bills, and it has everyone’s contact in there where you can DM.
I sent one on there. A week later I’m sitting on ghosted 2x.
Eventually I’ll have to see her again simply by chance, but I’m absolutely going to take a backseat role here — right? My friend absolutely wouldn’t send me off, but we aren’t so close that I’d bother him over this. And based on the girls friendliness etc when we first introduced, she definitely seemed interested.
FWIW, I know she’s really close with this other girl I am friendly with who’s married. Me and this girl and sometimes her husband all keep the same schedule and she’s super friendly almost like she’s interested for her friend, if that makes sense. I haven’t seen her recently to notice any change in her attitude but will definitely be watching for it. I don’t even know her name, but we chat a lot when we run into each other.
What do my next steps look like? It seems obvious if she was super into me she would’ve at least replied to my message? Maybe too soon for IG, but IDK the whole thing seems off…
Honestly it won’t be awkward for me, but I feel bad if I did something that turned her away. I’m fine with just being neighbors at a distance.

Hi fellow freelancers; I am a 21-year-old entrepreneur who started freelancing as a software developer. I began my freelancing journey during my senior year of high school, lured by the promises of freedom and self-determination. Like so many others, I started on Upwork. From 2018-2020, my life was a whirlwind of unpredictable highs and lows - new projects, satisfied clients, delayed payments, sudden changes, and stiff competition.
In my sophomore year of college in 2020, I discovered Angel.co through a fellow freelancer. Intrigued by the possibility of broadening my horizon beyond Upwork, I took the next step every freelancer yearned for and established my software development agency, finding our niche in offering our services to startups (at this point, I had formed a team with some buddies I met on Upwork who lived in India and Pakistan). I found this work fulfilling and began to experience a taste of comfort and stability.
As I'm sure you all know, Upwork does not have a good reputation for keeping freelancers' best interests in mind. From stories of increased rates to fraudulent projects, I started to get sick of seeing Upwork issues in my LinkedIn feed. It reminded me why I left that platform in the first place. About 6 or so months ago, a close friend of mine was working on a long-term 2-month project when she saw her life flash before her eyes. After completing the project, she was contacted by Upwork, letting her know that the $2,000 earned for that project was being taken back out of her account. She noticed the negative account balance before Upwork even messaged her, making it worse. She was left with no word on what happened or why the money was taken out for hours before she got a message. One would think Upwork would do the right thing and compensate her in some way for her lost wages, but no. Countless attempts to get some payback, all to no avail.
Luckily in her case, she has great family and friends who were able to help her with rent and bills for that month, but this incident flipped a switch in my brain and made me realize there is a major issue in today's freelancing world where the majority of us rely on these freelancing platforms and lack the knowledge of how to sell ourselves beyond these platforms. What if someone less fortunate needed that money to pay that month's rent or buy groceries for the following week? They leave us vulnerable, and when trouble arrives, they do nothing but sit back in their beach chair and watch the hysteria unfold while sipping on a pina colada. Upwork acts like they are untouchable, and they may be right now.
Upwork has so much power over freelancers because most need to figure out how to make sales offline and don't know where to start. More than anything, freelancers need a space that can empower us with the skills and knowledge to make a living selling our services beyond the constraints of job boards; and to have our voices heard on the public stage. We as freelancers need to take the initiative to prove to Upwork and these other platforms that freelancers don't need them to make a living and that they can't just ignore us.
If Upwork was to say, "Hey guys, we are upping our fees from 10% to 20%", yes, everyone would be up in arms. But the community would have no choice but to keep using the platform. I searched online to see if anyone was putting something together to help with this. And as far as I could see, there's nothing. No courses to help educate people on how to sell themselves in the real world, the world that exists beyond the confines of Upwork. What I did find a ton of, though, were these influencers with their fancy microphone and studio claiming that they would teach me how to become "Level 1 on Fiverr" or "How to Make Six Figures on Upwork." I hope you all have a good laugh whenever you see these as I do; anyone making 6 figures on Upwork will happily keep whatever they did to get there under wraps, or at least not charge you $100 to learn their 'secrets.'
By this point, if you are still reading, maybe this will inspire one of you to create a platform for us freelancers to help teach the community how to sell themselves. Sales are freaking hard, and when I started with my agency, it was an everyday battle of doubt before I connected with a mentor who could help. They showed me many ways to find clients, LinkedIn, mom-and-pop shops in your community, referrals, cold outreach, etc. These aren't as easy as logging into Upwork and copying and pasting the same proposal to each job you see, but it's sure to give you more satisfaction when you build out your sales pipeline and are booked for the next 6 months, no worrying if someone will accept your proposals this week. Oh, and this is good to add. In the past 3 years of finding work outside of Upwork, I have never had an experience where a client could get away without paying for labor, nor ever had the experience of some intermediary changing their service fees from 5% to 10%.
I'm rereading my post and noticed how longwinded it is; guess I had to vent that all out somewhere. I'll stop my rant here, but please share your methods for finding work outside of these platforms too. Hopefully we can create a bit of a chain in the comments to help guide others who are feeling the strain of being reliant on these platforms for their livelihood

I'm no better than the rest. Already been a month since this happened but I went to a concert and this one girl started flirted with me. I wasn't interested cause she wasn't my type(f****at) again like I said I'm no better. I keep casual conversation trying to be nice and then she starts feeding me coke so now Im on board just for the coke. She says she has more in her car which I'm down for cause I'm yoked out at this point and wanna keep the party going. Low and behold this dude who's even shorter than me picks us up in her car. He had to be 5 foot or shorter and super out of shape. Dude is driving around looking for a spot and I quickly get the vibe this dudes an incel. He starts ranting to me that's he close friends with all these celebrities and athletes because he works at a famous sports/music venue. I just go with it cause I want coke and let this dude have his moment of "flexing" on me. He then went on to inform me that him and the chick feeding me the coke have lived together for 3 years now and they're a couple. An hour later the chick is still heavily flirting with me and straight up telling me the other guy is full of shit and is always mad jealous of other guys around. Now I'm even more coked out and I'm starting to feel demon mode. So when the dude drops me off at my house I tell only his "gf" to walk me to my house. First sign dude should've panicked. Long story short I ended getting head and making that guy wait 15 minutes just to take her home after swallowing my coke nut. I am seriously no better than any man lmao

Detective's Fate
It's august of 2008.....
Max is a detective living in Chicago He checks his pistol and puts on his police badge as he walks out his front door.
He has been searching for a serial killer known as the Caller for years and always been one step behind due to the red tape.....
More importantly the chief's lazy attitude towards getting search warrants and actions approved by the courts for raids. Twice Max had good intel on the suspect's locations and photo evidence showing him at the sites.
The department needs more vigilant, caring officers and leaders but no one steps up to do it, instead they just complain about the slow progress and officers. And hinder investigations.
Now Max has decided that it might be time to stop playing by the rules and catch this scumbag.... .... ....
Starting his car Max sets his GPS to the address that "The Caller" was last seen and pulls out of his driveway as the 50 miles of directions pop up.
The killer's nickname being for his signature of calling in as he is committing the crime.
As he drives he remembers his first case, five years ago now..... ..... .....
A woman, Joane Taylor, was found dead in an alleyway after going out for the night. She showed no signs of struggle leading the police to believe she had drank to much and expired from alcohol poisoning.... ...
The death was written off as a "party gone wrong".... That is until several more were found and the coroner decided on a whim to test for other substances.
Once it came out that the deaths were possible murders...
The calls started coming in, almost like the suspect wanted credit before revealing himself....
Then ways of the deaths began changing as the Serial Killer explored his twisted desires searching for his preferred method.
The last case being a young woman found stuffed in a dumpster after the killer apparently got scared off.... Max will never forget it.... .... ....
The GPS finishes and the car beeps its final direction, taking an exit off the highway. Ramps out here are always confusing... Which is funny since he has driven this one for five years now...
The chief says he should sit this one out but he can't... The latest victim 3 months ago.
Marie Spelner, a waitress out on her smoke break talking to her spouse on the phone.
Survived by her husband, no children or living relatives. ....
Max Spelner turns into the driveway of the house he was directed to... Stepping out of the car he walks up and knocks on the door. Looking at the house he knows the family must be doing well if they live here.... Raising his hand to knock again he hears a scream from inside....
A second later the door is answered by a middle aged butler holding a tray with wine glasses on it... "Hello Sir, I'm sorry but this house does not wish to partake in any offers at this time..."
Max calmly says. "I'm not selling anything."
The butler looks confused for a moment before his eyes dart over Max's shoulder seeing his unmarked cruiser and he nods.
Looking past the butler Max sees that a woman is cleaning up after their dog.
"Have you seen this man?" Says Max holds up a picture of the one suspected of being the killer.
The butler gives it a once over before replying. "I'm sorry sir, no I have not." His tone sounds like he is lying... ....
"Are you sure?" The detective asks.
"I would not lie about something like that, sir." He states, his eyes not meeting Max's.
The woman calls from inside "Fletcher, who are you talking too?"
"Some man asking about a killer" he calls back.
"The killer is an inside job!" The woman quickly states.
"What?!" Max says.
"The Killer, it's an inside job." She says again, louder this time. In the same Max also hears a child begin to cry in another room.
"We should start from the beginning, it will be easier to explain trust me." The woman says.
'She seems to know what is going on....
"How do I know your story holds water?" He asks out loud.
"Oh I wouldn't lie. I have been following the case myself and it seems like an inside job to me." She states, somehow sounding hurt.
"Is there anyone else in the house besides you two and the baby?" He asks noticing the baby isn't crying anymore.
"Just Fletcher and I live here, the baby is my cousins but he just stays the night sometimes." She replies.
Max draws his gun and enters the house upon reasonable suspicion of an emergency in progress or suspect on the premisses as the man seems to be deceiving.
While the woman still seems unconcerned that the child is now silent.
He pushes past the butler and rushes towards the area he heard the crying. passes the entryway, the dinning room, and a kitchen before finally finding a child in a playpen.
"There there..." He says in a sing song voice picking up the child. "I'm officer Max, do you know where your mommy is?"
The child just cries louder.
Then he sees the man from the photo walk out of the bathroom, upon seeing him he bolts for the door and Max sets the child down gently then gives chase.
He runs through the house, following the man as he can hear the woman screaming at him to stop but he doesn't."
"Stop or I'll shoot." The man doesn't even break stride.
Instead he runs out of the front door and jumps into his car.
Furious that the man might escape he fires at the car as it drives away.
The back window shatters and he hopes he got his tire, but he doesn't wait to find out as he runs to his car and initiates a pursuit....
He flips on his concealed lights in his cruiser as he reverses down the drive and into the street.
The suspects car is fast but he manages to keep up with it weaving in and out of traffic as people move over for the siren.
As they approach a red light there is heavy traffic in the intersection..... ....
The suspect slams on his brakes and Max's cruiser only just stops short of hitting it. Jumping out the Detective points his firearm at the vehicle running up beside seeing heavily tinted windows.
"Get out of the car and on the ground now!!" He shouts as he moves to the driver's side door.
After seeing no response....
Max throws open the door and the driver is gone with the passenger side open.
He quickly runs to the other side catching the man trying to sneak off tackling him to the ground and then takes his arms putting them behind his back.
Max grabs his radio and calls it in as the man cries.
As he is waiting he hears a noise that sounds like static.....
"Wrong guy moron.. Did you ever stop to think I wanted you close for this one. That I planned everything...Even framing the pothead..... I almost lost interest until you pulled in the driveway... The attic is kinda cramped tho... I think I'll go carve some meat. Maybe graduate to other things to. I'm not sure yet. Lets see if you can catch me before......" A familiar voice says over the radio then cuts off... ...
Max looks at the man on the ground. "Why did you run from me?" He asks.
"Cause I have like 19 grams of marijuana in my pocket." He replies...
"Do you know how stupid that is?! I don't care about that I'm looking for a killer."
Before he can answer Max hears the woman from the house screaming for her life and a child's cries on his radio.
Then from below Max. "He's in the house, he's in the house! My mom and the baby!" The man on the ground says crying.
Max uncuffs him and runs to his car heading back to the house as he lays down rubber on the road... ... ...
As he approaches and pulls into the driveway he notices the front door is open.
"Hold on I'm coming!" Max screams jumping out of his cruiser...
He runs into the house finding the woman's body arriving too late. Moving over to her he checks for a pulse but she is gone, a large gash in her neck.
As he stands up he slips in a fluid but gains his balance and tries not to think about what it is....
He rushes to the room the baby was in finding the play pen empty. He leaves the room searching the rest of the house and still doesn't find the child.
"Where are you!!!" He calls out....
"This is the Callers first kidnapping and the media would eat up the fact I failed to stop the man." He thinks as he blames himself.
Sirens begin to blare in the distance as backup is about to arrive... ... ...
"There's a woman dead and a baby missing! The woman is in the dinning room straight ahead of the front door, Hurry!" He yells into his radio...
Looking over at the mother seeing a piece of paper on the floor.
He walks over to it seeing writing.
"So close... Looks like I'm a kidnapper now.... Good luck finding me.... And... I so enjoyed killing that sweet wife of yours. Might do it that way again. Not to the kid tho....later Max. Ps. This game is so fun.." It says.
"He was here..." Is all he can muster as the team enters.
"He was right in this house and I missed it because her son freaked over weed and ran..." He says as another officer speaks to him gently.
"Don't beat yourself up Detective, it's not your fault. He must have hid before you got her and left after you arrived." The words do little to comfort him "First day back on the job and the killer escaped taking a child..." He says as he walks away.
The chief arrives in his new lexus with a screeching of rubber as he lurches to a halt.
He quickly exits and leaves his door hanging open as he rushes into Max's face....
"I told you to stay away from this case MAX!!!!....(takes a breath)...
"If I catch any flak from my superiors, I won't suspend you.... That'd be to easy. Desk duty and an entry level demotion. The new guy will have a higher rank than you if things go my way.... Now get outta my sight...". "(Sighs)...
"This job is gonna be the death of me..." He says walking away from Max and towards the Coroner's van..... ..... .....
On the way home the detective stops by the store close to his house which is unlike him because he usually follows the same routine.
He nears the front door and he hears a kitchen timer ding loudly from behind him as his car explodes throwing him through the storefront windows as they are blown out..... .....
Alarms around the lot and others nearby create a cacophony of noise. His head pounding as his body aches, Max pushes himself up and collapses as the store manager runs over to him telling him not to move as he dials 911.... .... ....
Waking in the hospital Max recalls the feeling of the Shockwave as he flinches in phantom pain.
"Who woulda thought its like holding a ringing metal bat that hurts your hands but all over and way more intense." He thinks.
He suddenly feels tired and falls asleep.... .... .... ....
The next time he wakes, he sees a breaking news story that Jane Saltani is reporting on....
"Young toddler Accidently Shoots Serial killekidnapper ending his life and Alerting residents in the Area." The news anchor says.
Sighing to himself Max thinks about how crazy that is and laughs.
Tho he really wanted to bring the guy in. He closes his eyes to get some much needed sleep as his door opens.
Max looks up to see a man with a silenced pistol pointed at him.
"Hm. Now they think I'm dead. Funny how they just assume they got the right guy. Just like.... You did Detect... ....." Max hears but then hears no more as his end comes at just over the speed of sound....
The Caller leaves the hair of another intelligent convicted murderer that he obtained in a spot that's believable and quickly leaves.....
He disables the surveillance system and sends a virus out to any device that has received video data from the hospital.
Erasing and corrupting the systems. Leaving a master hackers finger prints on a glass from his home....
"Sorry, no witnesses." He says to the security guard as he fires... ..... ..... .... ....

Just broke up with my girlfriend of nearly 4 years.
We did so much together. We traveled all around the country together, we did so much together that I never did with someone else.
Around a month ago we broke up (mutual breakup), but I stayed at hers due to me saving money to move into somewhere else. I found out two days ago that she had been cheating on me and is now seeing someone else.
I found out because she has a very regimental routine. Up at 4am and asleep at 8:30pm. Two nights ago she stayed out until 10:30pm on a week day (she has work the next day) and immediately took a shower before she came to bed. She lied to me and said she met her Dad but I knew she hadn't.
Finally she admits everything after I continue questioning and I run out of the house. Crying, shaking and having a panic attack. I go to meet a friend who calmed me down and when I went back I knew I had to move out then and there.
While packing my things in a rush, she was shouting at me the whole time (I shouted back) and she rang her friends who were gonna come round and god knows what they would do.
So, I packed as quickly as I could.
I got to my friends house who's sofa I am staying on and it was such a horrible night.
I had thoughts about how close we were to getting married, having a baby and doing so much more. Most importantly I reflected our whole relationship and that is one tough experience to go through.
Unfortunately there were many signs towards this bad break up. Even though we both agreed to split up (she wanted to not me, I just wanted it to be civil), I never thought she would do something like this. I had always noticed how flirty she was with virtually any guy and it stopped me going out with her as I didn't want to see it. I always just thought this is just her personality (lets face it, you never want to acknowledge the truth).
We got a dog together around a year ago and to be honest, leaving our dog behind and to accept this other guy will replace me is fucking heart breaking.
I have been through a terrible break up before, so in a way this does not feel too bad, but the dog part sucks.
Now I am stuck in the middle of nowhere in my life. I had everything all planned.
I know the road I have to take to get better and it is just time. Previously my last break up nearly killed me, so I do have a lot of strength when it comes to this but it still hurts.
I just needed to get this out as I don't really have any friends who will listen to me (my friend currently is too occupied with his girlfriend, which is understandable). Unfortunately I am kinda socially awkward and I am so lazy at keeping friendships, so I don't really have anyone I can talk to.
I am not expecting any responses, I just want people to know that no matter how hard your life is, right now you CAN get out of it. Just work on yourself, do the things you have always wanted to, start a new hobby, play some games. All these things have helped me in the past, so here I am starting all over again.
I do just wish I had someone to talk to, but hey, I do this to myself.

I feel like I don't have a good handle on how Union handles criminals. This is relevant, because in an upcoming session it's very likely that my PCs, who are Union forces, will capture some pirates on a frontier area (~6 months nearlight realtime from nearest other system), and I want to have a good answer to what will happen to them after, that keeps with the flavor of the setting.
The Crime: the pirates have killed several (less than 10) people from a non-Union state, destroyed important but not critical infrastructure, and stolen a large load of valuable commodities. The non-Union state is being nice and willing to turn them over to Union's justice, because relations are frosty at best and their own justice system is abhorrent to Union. For a handful of pirates, they'd rather buy friendlier relations. There is an HA colony in the system as well where the pirates can be sent.
I think an appropriate answer, that keeps with the Union Pillars, is roughly as follows. First they spend some time in the HA colony, where they cannot die of poverty but they won't have a fun time. They may work a crummy job if they choose, or a nice one if they get in touch with certain ethically compromised officials. Then, when outbound transit is available, they get a nearlight trip to what passes for a prison, where your movement is limited, your mail is read, but the confinement area is like, house arrest to a nice mansion. Sometimes a guy comes through and lectures you on philosophy, you can hold a job if you want to, or study something, and then eventually your term is up. Then you're free to go wherever, starting off from Metropolitan space. - which is nice enough to get most people to quit any crimes of profit.
This is an attempt to try to square the image of Union as a utopian good guy, with no secret brainwashing programs or w.e., with the need to...do something to bad actors other than just shooting them in the face. It does notably leave open the door for committed political criminals to come back and try again, which is a fun storytelling opportunity!

It hasn't been long since my boyfriend (23 M) and I (20 F) started dating. He really has been a great bf, he takes care of me, he is always listening and he makes so happy. I have never really been the jealous type of girlfriend, as a matter of fact, I don't really care whether people find him attractive or not. I believe that if someone really wants to cheat they will do it no matter what you say or do. I really trust my boyfriend, and we are really open about the people we find attractive. Even though we are in a very much monogamous relationship he might say, "Look at this girl, she's so hot", and I will most definitely agree, because I like girls too. I have no problem with that, whatsoever, because though we find other people attractive, I just want to spend time and be with him.
Now, my boyfriend's girl best friend (22 F), has been nothing but kind with me. She is very shy, smart, funny and such a beautiful red-haired woman, like the girl next door type of girl. She and my boyfriend have been friends for over 5 years now, and nothing has really happened between them. The thing is, I think my boyfriend might have a crush on her and he might have just decided to settle with me. A couple of months ago, I was drunk and we were talking about girls we know that we thought were pretty, and then I said I thought his best friend was very pretty, and he said "I know, she is so incredibly out of this world, like her beauty cannot be compared", or at least something along those lines. That stuck with me, I had never heard someone speaking of someone else's beauty in that way before. Then, a couple of nights ago, as he was driving to my house, he saw a red-haired and said "Look, that girl over there is so hot. I fucking love redhaireds".
I love my boyfriend very much, and I want him to be happy no matter what. I have tried to tell him multiple times that if he wants to leave for someone else that makes him happy, or, that just makes him feel better, he can. I just don't want to be the girl that doesn't let him be with the love of his life, you know, "Love, Rosie" kind of trope. I know his best friend already has a boyfriend, but I don't know, I just feel like he really loves her and maybe she does too. They talk to each other all time about me and her boyfriend, and the things we do, it feels like like they are trying to prove that they are happy. I have never asked my boyfriend directly, but he has told me he sees his best friend as a little sister, and nothing more. He has been in multiple toxic relationships before where he was asked to stop talking to his best friend, and he really is an amazig guy and I don't think I could ever ask such a thing because he has never tried to make me feel jealous.
I think i might just be overexaggerating things and this is just my overthinking. I really want to listen to your thoughts and advice on everything. What do you think?

SAs someone who has:

1. Completed all quests
2. Completed Badum quests
3. Unlocked Everything (Factions all 20)
4. Have 285/285 with gear and guns
5. Have around 8m - 10m Kmarks
6. Am at best average at straight up PvP, most of my success is from playing smart and cautious (making moves at the right time, rotating and repositioning in fights, coordinating with my team, counting shots, etc)

These are the following things that I have observed about the game, but more specifically after patch 3.4:

1. Most of my time playing the game is spent PvPing in duo and trio squads, helping out some of my friends do their quests, or just going around solo gathering cables for letium drills, doing data drives for dungeons, or farming pistons and aluminum for oil, or just doing jobs for scrips
2. Having 10m sometimes but nowhere to spend it on since my stash is perpetually full means that I have to sell perfectly fine guns such as Flechettes and Advocates to buy Kors and Brutes just to keep my money down so I can pick more stuff up to sell and not waste K-Mark rewards from jobs.
3. There has been a significant rise in cheaters after the patch. Before the patch, there were at best 1 cheater every 4 or 5 raids. Now it seems that there are cheaters almost every other raid, and raids without cheaters are either empty or full of white gear guys doing what white gear guys do.
4. Dungeons somehow outclass Lab Keycard rewards. I understand that they are not the same thing, but I have over 800 hours this season, not once have I found a Lab Keycard. Good thing I opened the Lab keyroom just before it got nerfed.
5. Due to all the end-game content being around the north-western part of Crescent Falls, the south-eastern part of the map is empty. The only people I ever find there are either white gear guys questing, or cheaters who ape for my brute that ran from Starport Warehouse.
6. Matchmaking is still not fixed. I still get trios in my Crescent Falls/Tharis raids despite being a solo. (I literally see their drops, no they are not teaming)
7. Before the patch, I had to forge around ~125x before completing the 10 Slags I need for Badum. After the patch, I have managed to get 5 slags in less than 20 forges, and got 2 slags back to back just a few raids ago. The drop rate may be slightly higher than intended, but the sample size of my personal experience may not reflect the actual statistics.
8. Tharis is dead. As someone who actually enjoys Tharis Island, it's frustrating to have my favorite map nerfed to the ground that no one ever comes there anymore except for some white gear warriors looking for a comeup or just mining Tharis Iron, or those who are there to farm slags. It's a shame, because currently, Tharis is the only map that is actually almost free of any cheaters because of the level requirement to unlock the map in the first place(Most cheaters get banned before unlocking it, and the cheaters that actually play on Tharis are most likely retail cheaters meaning they are legit players but decided they needed an edge to play the game)
9. I've been randomly getting disconnected from the raid, with my gear just vanishing, then immediately dropping back into the same raid naked. Sometimes, this happens over and over again, until I can find respite from a stranger who mercy kills me or until I exit to station which I usually do.

Now what exactly can be done about the game? I will enumerate suggestions that directly mirror the points that I have made above.

1. The end game loop is absolutely terrible (wow, 103,127th time this has been said on the sub, i know). The game is absolutely in need of some content especially for end game players. PvPing is absolutely the only real thing that can be done, and while that is fun, why not just play other shooters that go straight to the point like Apex? Jobs are mostly tedious and annoying to do, and it does need either an update or a rework. A global leaderboard would also be cool, as we saw several people actually playing the game just to get on the howlerbuster boards.
2. The money cap seems like a band-aid solution to a bigger problem. With the current economy of increased ammo and repair costs, more items added into the item pool, and no more permanent insurance, below average players are having a hard time keeping a steady economy in the station whereas successful players still are successful. I personally never really had a hard time hitting the money cap over and over again, the harder thing to do is actually keep my stash from overflowing. I thought the approach to season 3 was to make it easier for newer players to get into but the current system hard gatekeeps casuals while barely doing anything to sweats. Something they could do is just to add a high-roller lobby where you cannot insure gear, and the lobbies cost Kmarks to drop into or even aurum, and is locked with gear requirement so you know you will be fighting people in gear. This also means that if you die, you do not get anything back, and that what you paid for to get into the raid is also gone. (An immediate effect of this implementation might be that we would get almost empty lobbies in regular and high roller instances due to the players being further split into separate buckets but this change alone would bring back so many of the sweats who stopped playing the game back, and the casuals could actually just finish their quests)
3. Nothing to say about cheaters really, but a few hours into the patch, guys were flying everywhere once again despite " 3.4.0 containing various backend improvements and tweaks to the anti-cheat formula and Yager adding new systems to the game to help detect and prevent the kinds of cheats we have found to be the most common ". I understand that 10 devs vs 1000 cheat makers is a tough battle, but certain measures to make reporting and banning cheaters can be done. Adding a death cam that can only be played after either the whole squad is dead, or the enemy squad is dead is one thing that can be doable, many other games have this feature. And before anyone starts going, "well, you can't do this because you can drop in the same lobby if you drop back down again and now you know where the enemy is", just make it so that players have a 15-minute cooldown per instance of the map which aligns with the time it takes for gear to despawn. That way, even the information you receive from the death cam is irrelevant 15 minutes later, and is only really useful for reviewing deaths and as evidence for cheating. Sure, you can get a lucky 5-headshot beam with a Kor on someone but 12x in a row in the same raid? That's an easy ban if anything.
4. Key rooms are massively underwhelming right now. Community Room? Here's a green creature mod for your smg. What's that purple keycard you got there? - Oh, it's an Overgrown Keycard. That's 3 Circuit Boards, 21 Basic Light Ammo, and a white backpack. I've gotten 5,000 Overseers Office Keycards, but 1 Basecamp Armory Key, please explain how this is possible? Back in Season 1, key rooms were heavily utilized(as they should). Base Camp Luggage Room was always open, so was Armory in Jungle. Garage in Greens? Good luck. Hell, even Community Room was worth the trek because Loose House was there as well. I've since sold all my keycards early into the season as I have found it utterly useless and I have better luck picking up high tier weapons and armor just running around Tharis Island. Something clearly should be done here, the Lab Keycard during the start of Season 3 was perfect - it was hard to get up there, it's an extremely rare card, and it can be only used once. The loot was god tier, but that's assuming you can evac with it. And almost everyone only really got one shot at opening it, but I suppose that was too good because now all you ever really get is 3 PKR Maelstroms and a blue set. Sidenote: Puzzle Rooms are also really bad. They really are only for the reactors, and the weapon crate is a bonus, but the process of completing the puzzle, especially solo, is way too much of an ask for so little of a reward. The only puzzle really worth doing is the one by greens prospect since it can be done solo in 15 seconds, but even then you get shot as soon as you start doing it.
5. South-eastern side of the map of Crescent should get some love. Add something there that would actually make players want to go there, or at least make them decide which side of the map they should go to. As of now, all the high-gear players go Warehouse/Pinnacle due to the large open areas which make it ideal for fights, versus the thick jungles of Favela that has dense foliage and full of cliffs where you die if you slip off of. Sure missions take you there, but everyone eventually completes their missions and its off to Pinnacle most of the time from hereon out. Buffing Community Key will not pull players there since keys are single use, and I understand the dungeon is there but let's face it, not many people enjoy doing the dungeon in the first place, be it easy as it was back then or how it is now.
6. Fix matchmaking. That is all. Please.
7. Whatever this is, keep it the way it is. Don't find out oh, the drop rate was increased to 30% instead of increasing it by 3% and reverting it back.
8. Add gear lock to Tharis. That's it, plain and simple. There should be some risk to Tharis, and on the opposite side of the stick, there should also be reward. What is the point of ammo being more expensive, repairs being more expensive, money being harder to keep, if I can just keep dropping back in to Tharis with just a white backpack, mine for 5 minutes and evac with 30-50k worth of Kmarks in Tharis Iron? Imagine doing that for an hour, that's an easy 300k right there. Just about the same amount you get from completing a letium drill, but with no investment, no risk, just sacrificing your sanity for the sake of money. As it stands, in order to add 5% less fauna damage and 5% less damage from storm strikes to my shield and stamina regen during storm on my backpack, I have to fight 6 free loadouts ratting in and around Tharis without gaining anything yet risking everything.
9. I understand ping limit, server issues, yada yada yada. Just make it so if you go poof, let our teammates pick our shit up. PLEASE GODDAMNIT. This is so dumb. I've lost countless loadouts to this dumb mechanic of being booted out of the raid, and now just to add insult to injury I get dropped back in but naked over and over again. What spaghetti code is this where you fix one thing and 12 other things become broken. Just please drop our shit, let some rando pick it up and have a nice feeling picking up a kor and purple set. I don't care. JUST DROP OUR SHIT PLEASE and thank you.

So I met this guy through a game called wizard101. We hit it off really good and added each other on discord shortly after. We didn't start off with the same common interests so we worked around it though and started to learn each other's interests. So I am a really big mario fan, and he played that on the nintendo switch with me. He liked certain PC games like minecraft and terraria so I played those. So we ended up meeting in person because he came down to my state to see me. It was real and we both hugged and it was the greatest moment of my life. We met at a mall that was close by to me and then he came back to my house and him, my brother, and i played mario party. My parents really liked him at first and were very welcoming. We even took him out for his birthday when he came back on that day. My mom paid and everything. However here's where things got slightly bad. I feel like we went to fast and he ended up renting an apartment so we could be together. I stupidly went down there without thinking things through and it didn't end well. His family was not welcoming at all and didn't take the time to get to know me. They also wouldn't give us rides when we needed it for grocery shopping. When they did though they would complain about doing it. I was expressing how I was a bit homesick literally the first week and he didn't really take the time to sit down or understand how upset I was. He was more thinking about his sister because her birthday was the same week. So after I said no multiple times he made me feel really bad and had his sister's party at the apartment a week after I came down. It was so uncomfortable for me because she was very awkward and it didn't make things better. I didn't really talk to her much, like we kinda played a game of mario party. But his sister felt the need to complain and put the game down a lot so I was upset for the rest of the day because I'm a fan of it. He literally had his sister sleepover when we didn't have any air conditioner or source of cold air in the bedroom and I was miserable. She got to sleep out in the living room with the air conditioner and the nice tv. I was so mad when I woke up and went off on her because I learned she also took 6 water bottles from our fridge. After this she ended up telling the whole family. Now his dad is dating an actual criminal. She sent me a threat via text saying she would "beat the shit out of me" this was very concerning to me but my boyfriend didn't even see it as a concern and instead blamed me for yelling at his sister. Then the arguing got worse from here. He consistently kept picking to play video games with his friends than spending time with me. He would put his headphones on and straight up ignore me and I got so mad at this. I slammed doors which created cracks in them and they gave me such a hard time about that. But the arguing got so bad to where he was literally punching me and beating down on me really hard. I mean I hit myself but I never slapped him in the face like how he directly punched me in the face. It damaged my glasses and brought a bruise onto my face. I left there so fast after this. Fast forward to the incident im talking about now. We somehow kept dating after all this. But it really never got better he didn't care to message me only cared about playing video games still. I would call and call and call and he would not answer and he was very aggressive to me. He told me to go die, that I'm a dumb bitch, that I'm retarded. It got to the point where his father even attacked my mom. They spammed her saying that I'm a retard and threatening her saying they would post her address and everything all over facebook. This was 2 days ago and I haven't heard anything since. What should I do from here?

For a few days now, I've been feeling more and more unwell. I've been getting 'brain zaps', which I've only experienced before when I've been late taking certain antidepressants, feeling nauseous, and having an uncontrollable appetite.
Today I thought "hey, I should just check my medication to make sure everything is up to scratch". Lo and behold, I was holding Mirtazapene labelled with a stranger's name, and not my Escitaloprám. I looked into the bag my pharmacy gave me as I hadn't unpacked it all yet. There at the very bottom was my Escitaloprám, and another box of meds addressed to a stranger.
Both my Escitaloprám and the stranger's Mirtazapene boxes were blue, so without a second thought I just threw it into my medication draw and took it at the usual time, 10pm, when it is dark, so I didn't see that it wasn't my medication.
I went to the pharmacy, gave them the stranger's medication back, and explained the situation. Infuriatingly, the pharmacist wasn't very apologetic, he looked scared more than anything. He said anybody could have made that mistake and it happens more than you think.
I still feel incredibly unwell and my mother thinks I have a case here to seek legal compensation, as this mistake could have very well killed me or anybody else, if the medication didn't mix with all the other meds that I'm on.

so i (21f) live about an hour from my parents’ house. i moved out and live with friends near my college because i come from a kind of toxic household. my mom supports me, but she was the type of mother growing up to be very emotionally reactive and scream at us all the time. she had always needed to be right in an argument, and if two people ever sided together we were “ganging up on her”. she tried to raise my sisters and i as besties rather than actual children, and because my sister bella (24) had the most in common with her, my mom was constantly hanging out with her. my mom also breeds cats and dogs which i’m not a huge fan of for obvious reasons, but i don’t hate her for it because she’s not a crummy backyard breeder at the very least.
my oldest sister (25) jewel moved out with her now husband and my second oldest bella is pregnant and lives 10 minutes from my mom with her husband. her husband does some work for my dad as well. again, bella is the closest with my mom. they do everything together and work together with the business. when i come down, i usually help them clean up around the house (i literally clean cat shit out of litter boxes) and if i have time sometimes we’ll do something.
growing up, my dad was my favorite person. in a house full of girls who were constantly fighting, he is a calm. with all this being said, i Do Not like being there when he isn’t around. and even more so, i hate being there when things go wrong.
yesterday my dad got arrested (we don’t know why bc he arraignment is in a couple days). we know it has something to do with someone he sold bitcoin to because they questioned my BIL (he sorts through my dads crypto mail), but that’s pretty much it. last night after i got off of work, a few of my friends came to spend time with me because i was not doing okay. we were out and about (we got food, walked around, etc) and my mom asked me to come over. because the reasons above, the last thing i wanted to do was drive an hour to be there alone with her instead of my friends i was talking it out with. on the other hand, my dad getting arrested was a very scary experience for her and she was alone in her house. i told her that i had my bf over and we were doing something, and she replied “if only you could have enough empathy to see me being alone isn’t good for me” and i said i’m sorry, and asked if bella was free so she wasn’t alone. she said she was busy dealing with being pregnant and her husband being involved in all this. i just said i was sorry and that i wasn’t in the headspace to drive and called her instead. that was fine and made her feel better. to put our relationship more into perspective, the first thing she said to me on the phone was “the only reason i haven’t killed myself is because it would just dump all this on you guys” (what an awesome thing to drop on your daughter).
now today is one day that my best friend, my boyfriend, his roommates and his brother and i are all free and we’ve all been very busy. we were planning on hanging out today and i knew it would make my feel bettetake my mind off the situation. my mom asked me to drive down today and i really don’t want to, but i feel like i’m a bad daughter if i don’t. WIBTAH if i didn’t drive down?

I know about 99% or more of these guys would have molested a child had one been there in the sting house. But which one do you believe is the worst? A few come to mind. Kevin Westerbeck from Greenville. Being busted for rape already in the past. Eugene Daily. The way he talked to the decoy told me he’s done this a lot in the past. it’s been two days since i had to put my dog down, he was my best friend for the last 14 years i’m only 19 so as you can imagine it’s been extremely difficult coming home to a quiet house. on thursday night my mom and i decided to take him to an er because he had been coughing badly and having trouble breathing. obviously with his age i knew that there was a possibility that whatever it was could be bad. i still wasn’t expecting to have to come home without him that night. the doctor did some x rays on his chest and diagnosed him with congestive heart failure with fluid in his lungs, unfortunately there’s no cure and we were not financially capable of treating him long term. i wish with every part of me that i could have saved him but euthanasia was unfortunately the best option for him, we didn’t want him to suffer but it breaks my heart to think that he just wanted to go home once he saw me. he’s been extremely attached to me the last few years to the point where he’ll bark and whine until i come downstairs and sit with him, he would follow me everywhere he’d even stand outside the restroom and wait for me there lol. for that reason i decided to stay with him though the short albeit heartbreaking process. i held onto him and told him i loved him with my entire heart as he took his last breath. part of me feels guilty especially because he seemed afraid at the end and i feel at times like maybe it wasn’t my decision to make but i just didn’t want him to suffer and be in pain. waking up the next day to his bed empty and a quiet house was so incredibly difficult and it hasn’t gotten easier. he is everywhere everything reminds me of him, i miss my best friend i miss his smell and the way he’d cuddle up next to me on the couch every day. i know it won’t necessarily get easier and truthfully i’m afraid of the day i forget his smell or the way it felt to hold him. i know my heart will heal but i’ll always miss my little guy, my bestest friend since i was 5 i love him more than i’ll ever be able to express. ❤️

I recently got out of military on the active duty side after serving 10 years, during that time I was a Canine Handler, so I’m a very big dog lover (I also like cats too haha), but now currently in the Military Reserves as well a marketing head representative for Verizon Wireless.

I enjoy road-trips, the outdoors, hiking, cooking, music (all genres), drawing, working out, and movies (especially horror). Hey guys, I want to get into reviewing pads as I have been collecting and using them for years now. I received this pad from Gamesense to help with feedback and I am allowed to make a review on it! This will not affect my opinions, and I would have been perfectly ok with purchasing the pad up front or afterwords to make this review :)

I want to get straight into the meat of this pad so specs and details will be at the end ->

The Sonar: aka the balance glass pad. In the age of speed, where aimers crave light weight, less friction, more speed and raw aim, this pad comes as a breath of fresh air.
While this statement may come across as a little controversial, I think it is excellent that Gamesense is bringing something different to the market than another speed pad. Do not let this fool you into thinking this a slow pad however, as it is still made of glass, and provides that low initial/static friction that glass pads are synonymous with.
What is does bring, is control in the form of dynamic friction and stopping power. Comparing this pad to Skypad 2.0 and 3.0 is has quite a different surface. Not necessarily to the feel, as by hand it is closer to the Skypad 3.0 surface.
But in terms of its feeling through the mouse is where this pad sets itself apart. Where the Skypad can feel like my mouse is floating and gliding, I feel locked in on this surface. As if my mouse is ON the surface, not merely gliding over it.
This gives an initial feeling of almost roughness through the mouse skates, similar to a an almost Hien like feedback. This is a feeling that lessons over time and I feel as though the pad does have a small break in period, of a few days or a week.
Once past this, the micro corrections inherit the glass pad property of being in your control, light and low friction. The beauty of this pad comes into its sweeps, tracking and flicks. It stops on a dime, which seems as though it contradicts its low initial friction, but in practice does not.
I find it most prevalent on a 75 degree or more flick, where I quickly swipe my mouse and lock into the target, something in which I struggle with on the Skypad due to its incredibly fast and smooth nature. In this way, during fast movements, the Sonar acts as a sort of controlled pad, which not inheriting the muddy or inconsistent nature of a plush cloth pad.
This means on every motion I get the same, unchanging experience. Flick-stop, flick-stop, switch-switch-switch.
Lets talk about tracking. I have been playing less tracking heavy games of late (CS and Valorant), but just to test this aspect of the pad I have done some tracking sessions in Kovaak's. While my previous comments have indicated that the strong suit of this pad is its controlled stopping power, that does not mean it is bad at tracking by any means.
Most tracking consists of smooth, slower motion, prioritizing accuracy instead of speedy target acquisition. Here once again the pad excels. With the exception of a truly speed based cloth pad(Artisan Raiden for example) the tracking offered by this pad is well inline with fast hybrid offerings.
I would not say it is "as good" at tracking as a Skypad, IF you have immaculate mouse control or crave a friction-less experience. I think for everyone but the speediest of demons, this pad offers a level of tracking far beyond their own capabilities, and will not be a hard ceiling to their mouse control skill.

Final overall thoughts regarding the pad:
Things I like
I like the design of both this pad and the regular black version. I think it offers something unique and eye pleasing, which I think is important in a pad. I prefer a simple design, with well thought out colors, and I think both variants of this pad accomplish that goal. The collectors edition Minwah of Pearl some might consider garish, but I find to be quite enjoyable as it reminds me of a blanket you might find on the spare bed of your grandmothers house.
I like the control this pad offers in static and flicking type aiming. It gives me a sense of control over my mouse, while not hand holding as much as a control cloth pad.
Also the size of this pad feels great, while being 500x400 the vertical space is sufficient, somehow it feels like there is so much space horizontally, even for the low sense players. With the rounded edges it also feels very comfortable on the arm and does not cause any discomfort.

Things I don't like
The design implementation: while I do like the actual design, the way it is implemented on the glass leaves a close up feels a little blurry, and some of the characters having a sort of cloudy outline. I believe this is the case with ALL glass pad designs, as the print must shine through the surface, and it is more of a minor nitpick.
Initial Feeling: my first impressions of this pad I thought my mouse skates would start deteriorating like going over a cheese grater. It felt extremely abrasive on the mouse skates for a few day until breaking in. I believe this feeling is due to the bead blast surface, and what is in fact what gives the pad its control.
I have gotten used to it, but it did leave me a little wary at first that my skates would quickly degrade(which is common with glass pads)
My last gripe is consistent across all glass pads I have used and that is it feels terrible once I start to sweat. I live in a pretty humid environment, and my AC doesn't run full blast all the time. So during extended session as I start to warm up and build a little sweat, I just stick to this pad. However, I have experienced this with all glass pads so I won't count it against it.

Overall I enjoyed my experience with this pad. It is the most enjoyable glass pad I have used yet, especially since I don't hone my mouse control as some users, and prefer a little control in my life, even with my cloth pads. This pad fit well into my repertoire, and did not hold me back even after switching to it immediately. After the break in period, the pad does speed up a little, losing some of that "grating" feel.
All in all I would recommend this pad for any game, it offers something for all scenarios, and really lets the user decide what level of control they have over it. If you are a cloth pad user and have been looking to move to a hard surface, I would recommend this pad over Skypad, unless you are sure your mouse control would not hold you back for a significant amount of time.
My own personal opinion is that glass pads are diminishing returns, and most gamers would benefit more from coaching or vod review if they are looking to up their game, but this pad is more inline with purchasing a pad to fit your need, especially if you hate cleaning or wearing out your cloth pad.

I'm nearly at the end of these series of reviews. After Haless it's Yanshen and then that's about it. The whole continent has some of my favourite mission trees in the entire mod so I'm excited to talk about it.
Azkare -> Sunrise Empire ★★★★★
Azkare is someone staring down the multiple genocidal campaigns across Anbennar, and indeed across regular human history, and asking themselves how they would design a campaign where you are the Good Guy. One where the end goal is to create a truly equal state that values all its citizens. It’s an interesting design issue since empire-building has certain inherent traits that are really hard to present as being a “good” option. Gee Hiderion, what are you going to do when one of your internal states votes for independence huh? Just going to march in an army to crush the rebels? How many millions must die for you to achieve your “dream” Hiderion? You can answer these questions during your questioning at The Hague! Or wherever they try war criminals in Anbennar.
Playing it though, it’s great fun. Sure it’s another Haless state that is simply based around conquering everything, but the mechanic on how you integrate them all into this single parliament is pretty neat. It feels like messy internal politics, which I enjoyed from a role-playing perspective. It’s wild that this much effort went into a single nation’s mission tree too, and one you absolutely never see created in-game by the AI. I have some nitpicky problems. While the writing is generally good, I think the author tried to write a short piece of romantic fiction at one point that felt so out of place it bordered on comedic. Also the end of the mission tree has such silly requirements that I didn’t even bother trying. But it’s overall one of the most complete trees in the entire game and would be one of the first ones I’d point a new player towards.
Plus, so long as you embrace the roleplay of being Hiderion, the guy with the biggest Elf Savior complex in the entire world, it is neat to imagine yourself crushing the previous horrid regimes across Haless and rebuild them in your vision of equality and tolerance. Bhuvari are slavers, Verkal Ozovar want to mind control the whole continent into subservience, and do you really think everyone would be better off under The Command? If Haless had to be united, Sunrise Empire would probably be the best option. Just don’t ask the Oni that question.
Fengwuzhe -> One Xia ★★★★☆
I know a lot of people play EU4 because they love to watch numbers go up. Stack modifiers on top of modifiers and watch as your god soldiers destroy armies 3 times their size. I am not that sort of player. I legitimately have no idea what army tradition does. The only number that matters to me is the size of the army. If I have more soldiers, I should win the battle. If I don’t, it’s probably a bug and should be patched. That all said, there was something about marching around as this death squad of militant harpy combat monks as One Xia that tickled a little part of my brain, giggling as I watched The Command flee in terror despite outnumbering me.
What made it all the more satisfying is the challenge it was to get there. As Xia, you are one of the first ports of call against the might of The Command. That’s another part I love about Anbennar that other people seem not to: I love fighting The Command. It’s a race against time as they gobble their neighbours, as you frantically build up a force capable of taking them on. Once they do turn on you, there might as well be that “Objective: Survive” popup. It’s interesting to play a game of EU4 and actually lose a war and have to figure out how to rebuild so you’ll be able to take on those hobgobbos if they attack again.
The actual story of the nation was a bit lost on me. I liked the design of the mission tree and how it forced you to really drill your troops to progress, which was a neat change of pace for me. But what their nation actually fought for and believed in wasn’t terribly well portrayed. Maybe because I don’t have a lot of experience with the genre of fiction they’re based off. Also man is the Blue Scarf Rebellion such a weird disaster. Only pops at a point where you’ve basically already won the game. A huge amount of effort into a very forgettable disaster that I very nearly didn’t see because I had reached the standard boring EU4 end-game by that point.
Verkal Ozovar ★★★★★
One of the coolest things in Anbennar is how they’ll take specific mechanics from the base EU4 game, warp it into something new, then re-contextualise what that new mechanic represents. Escann is the best example of this when it comes to the design of an entire region with how they repackage the native migration mechanics. What Verkal Ozovar does for vassal gameplay is so utterly wild and creative and I had a truly fantastic time with it.
The whole conceit is that you remain as this single province hold for the entire game, but through a series of vassals, and a very heavy focus on vassal loyalty increases, gain control over all of Haless. Early on you’re playing what seems like a fairly standard game, albeit heavily vassal-focused. But as your vassals start to dwarf (heh) your single province, it becomes a game unto itself of how does one maintain loyalty while progressing through the mission tree.
I’ll give you a few examples of the stuff I would do to maintain loyalty. I would declare war and then never move my troops from the capital because keeping them alive was more important for loyalty purposes than using them for the war. I would declare wars entirely for the purpose of draining my own vassal’s armies and manpower so they couldn’t build up a large enough force to want to rebel against me. It’s evil in a whole other way than how EU4 and Anbennar usually enforces it through “click the genocide button”, and it really fed into the themes of the story. These totalitarian, mind-control dwarfs, who seek to subjugate the people around them so they swear absolute loyalty, all while never having the capacity to ever resist you.
I literally had a notebook next to me of my vassal’s dev sizes so I could keep track of how large they were getting and dole out new provinces accordingly so none would get too large. The final end reward of having the capability to ensure total vassal loyalty is the best end-game reward in the whole game, because suddenly I was free to grow however much I wanted. I declared on the Lake Fed then just left the game on x5 speed and watched as my combined vassals experienced 3 million deaths in attrition and still won the war. My computer may have hated me for it. The end game of Ozovar is the slowest I’ve ever seen EU4 run. But I loved the campaign and it’s a top 3 all time favourite nations to play in Anbennar.
