2023.06.08 04:12 sosa373 Someone stole my kitten, then used my Craigslist add to get ahold of me and ask for reward in return for the cat.
So I’m rehoming kittens. A teenager and his adult friends lied about the circumstances in which he was gonna take the kitten. Which I understand is fraud. When we realized that the pretenses of the rehoming was false, and dangerous for the kitten, we tried to get the kitten back. They said that the kid rode away with the kitten on a bike. They threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave. I posted a Craigslist ad about the situation and pictures of the kitten. Hoping for help, information, or by some miracle the kitten found (after possibly escaping off the bike). Well around 10 in the evening someone called me about my Craigslist ad, they said they found my cat to give them my address and they will bring him too me. They sent pictures of my cat to make me believe them. Asked for a reward. And arrange a time to meet. Then they blocked me. I have filed a police report already buts it’s going slow. I was able to get my husband to call them. The lady’s lied and said she dropped the kitten of at our local PD office, then blocked my husband. The local pd office said that they did indeed come in with a kitten but they took it with them and had to make a statement. I don’t know where to go from here they still have my kitten. They live in trailer park that’s in covered in class and full of stray cats. They transport the cat cruelly on a bike. No cat carrier nothing. Just hanging by the scruff.
Edit to clarify: I think the people who stole my cat are the same people who pretended to wanna return him.

2023.05.28 10:12 anb7120 Found a temporary “home” for the two kittens we found earlier this week
| Bluey and fam have been evicted from my daughter’s dollhouse as soon as these two came in. She was thrilled today when they finally started playing and out of the 193738373 pictures we took, this ScaMufasa reenactment was the best one 😂 We found these two kittens earlier this week, and have been trying to find a home for them since. We have fostered quite a few adult cats, but have only fostered kittens when the mama was there as well. It’s been a learning curve getting them to feed through a bottle/syringe, as well as essentially potty training. We were able to get them antibiotics for their eyes, but we still have no leads on a home for them 😫 all our local shelters are full (Michigan) animal control will not take kittens, and we are still waiting to hear back from rescues. We do NOT want to post them on Facebook/Craigslist etc Does anyone have advice on how to go about finding these two a home? submitted by anb7120 to cats [link] [comments] |
2023.05.16 17:27 Roz_Doyle16 Kitten clenching to avoid pooping
Hi, we rescued a Craigslist hoarder house kitten a few weeks ago. Male, feline, not neutered, approx 8 weeks now. We're located in New England.
The woman who had pulled the kittens out of the hoarder house said she dewormed him the day before we got him, but when he came home, he still had horrible, foul-smelling diarrhea. Took him to vet after we could get an appointment, prescribed Panacur for 5 days. We did that, and now his poops are solid but not hard. He's eating softened kibble in appropriate amounts and plays happily.
HOWEVER he hasn't pooped on his own this whole time (except one diarrhea explosion) and now he's clenching and trying to avoid pooping. He will not poop or usually pee without us rubbing him, and now when he starts to poop, he fights it. We're at a loss of how to help, and the vet can't fit him back in for a week. Any advice would be much appreciated.

2023.05.15 03:25 GummiesAreFunny AITA for not taking my girlfriends and I’s cat to sleep in our bedroom?
This is a throwaway account, I really don’t know if i am the AH in this situation, if I am I’ll take full accountability but I’m so confused.
I (F18) live with my gf (F18) and my mom, her boyfriend and my baby brother. My girlfriend and my mom had been wanting kittens for a while now, so my girlfriend was searching through Craigslist. She found a perfect match for two BEAUTIFUL kittens and we took them in today. My mom and my moms bf just got home, and we only have one spare litter box so we set it up in their room. My moms bf said it’s just for tonight and then I can take my girlfriends and I’s cat, so I said that’s fine. I texted my girlfriend because she is not home right now, as she has gone to visit family in another state for a few days, that the kittens are staying in my mom and my moms boyfriend’s room tonight, and she got really upset with me. We have two separate litter boxes in the house for my older cat and my moms older cat. We’re getting a fourth one soon. She’s literally texted “This is why I shouldn’t be with you” when I kept asking her why she doesn’t want the kittens sleeping in their room tonight. She said she doesn’t want my moms bf deciding for the cat, and I’m confused by what she means, but she keeps spamming me and I went on DND because I really am tired of the arguing. I’m trying to just see her pov and she keeps demanding that I tell them that I wanna take the kittens in my room tonight. I don’t see the harm in them keeping the kittens for one night, am I missing something? I love her with all my heart but to threaten to leave me over this is insane to me. I hope it was just something she said out of anger. AITA?
Edit: Please don’t get upset with my gf, I love her with all my life, and she’s allowed to feel the way she is, I’m just confused.
Edit 2: After talking some more I think this time when she threatens to move out she means it. She compared my behavior to her ex’s, and said that I let people use me and walk all over me. She’s not wrong, for context, we have a dog together also, and I feed all the dogs and cats in the house, as well as change the litter boxes and let the dogs out. She bought the litter box that is currently in my moms room right now, she wants me to take the litter box and the kitten into our room. She’s angry they have the litter box in the first place. I’m so heartbroken, I just didn’t wanna argue with my mom and her bf, but I’m pinned between a rock and a hard place, given ultimatums, her best friend sided with her, I don’t know if I’m in the wrong now. She says that I’ll be this much of a pushover when we have our own kids. I’m so heartbroken, so I’m just gonna go cry about it.

2023.05.09 16:42 tortrav1107 Cat pooping everywhere when do I rehome
I adopted a cat off craigslist and she had unexpected kittens of which I kept one. She was originally an outdoor cat who wanted to be indoors. Ever since we moved to a new house, she has been peeing and pooping next to the litterbox. I have three boxes for two cats and have done a lot to see if anything would help. I’ve changed litter which helped for about a week, I changed location of the box, I used feliway as recommended by my vet who said she has an attitude problem since she didnt have any signs of a UTI, and I am at my wits end. I’m thinking she might just always be an outside cat but she’s also snuggly so she makes up for it a tiny bit. But I am tired of being on my hands and knees carpet cleaning and I am wondering if I should keep her or rehome her to be an outside cat again. Is there anything else I can try?

2023.05.09 02:49 armoredsedan does it sound like my car has separation anxiety?
sorry for the long post, i could talk about my cat for hours. little background, my roommate and i got this cat off craigslist in 2020 for $10 from a lady who did not know anything about cats. she got an un-neutered male and female cat and was shocked when they had kittens and just wanted to be rid of them asap. he never got any of his shots including rabies and he was terrified when we came to get him, yowling so loud, running and hiding. now at the time my roommate and i were both work from home and online students due to covid, so we were able to spoil the ever living shit out of this cat. we got his shots up to date, got him on really good food, gave him everything a cat could need or want, smothered him with attention and play, and his personality came out so much. he loves meeting strangers and socializing now. he’s never been an affectionate cat but he loves to be near us. it’s like having an extra person in the house. since covid lessened and my roommate and i have both found relationships, we’ve been gone more. so our cat is completely alone wednesday night and part of the weekend. with my roommate working every weeknight, its just me at home. and us both being gone weekends but at different times so only some overlap, usually friday night or saturday morning he’s alone. our cat has started meowing so loud, it sounds so heartbreaking. he never did this before but if a door is closed, he cries. if i am downstairs and he is upstairs and he cant see me, he cries. every time i come home or leave, he cries. he’s still not clingy or affectionate but whenever i’m home he has to be near, my office is in my bedroom (it’s a big bedroom lol) and he sleeps on my bed all day while i work. when my roommate comes home he will lay on his bed instead. he used to roam or sit in one of his cat trees during the day. does this sound like separation anxiety? it doesn’t feel like we’re gone that much or for extended periods but i know its a lot different for him than when he first moved in. how can i help him adjust to the reality that we cant always be at home? is it cruel for him to be left alone for 8-10 hours every few days? i feel so bad for the baby :,(
tldr; i got a cat during covid and now me and my roommate both work and have relationships, my kitty has started meowing all the time when he cant see us and constantly has to be within 10 ft of us.

2023.05.06 04:40 StrangeInfinity Please help!!!! New Solo Cat in Multi-cat Household
Tl/DR: New cat brought into home with existing cats, causing anxiety and bathroom accidents, 3 months into new cat.
This is a long one, but I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read!!
About three months ago, my sister was threatened with eviction if she did not get rid of her cat (which she added to her house due to mice, not a nice neighborhood, Loki (2M), was about 8 week when she took him in. I took Loki as a foster as I know she, and her kids, love this cat (as do I) and would love to continue having him as a part of her home and she knew he would be safe and taken care of in my home.
Sister is unfortunately not been able to find a new apartment and it does not seem likely any time soon.
I and my SO adore this cat and wish we could keep him forever.
However, I already have two cats in the family house (Trips McGee -Tripsy, 14M and Akasha-Kasha, 9F). With Tripsy, things have been fairly smooth quickly (despite what we thought would happen), it took about two weeks for Loki to come out of hiding in a home with two cats, despite Tripsy being a pretty dominant cat, and Loki came from a home with no other cats.
Tripys has been way more playful than he has in the last few years with Loki, and it makes me so happy to see him acting like a kitten again, playing around the house with his new friend. He's even eating better than he has been, which was starting to worry me, but I attributed to age.
Kasha, has had a lot of trouble adjusting to this. She is already very anxious and barely tolerates us, she loves us on her terms, but she does love us and would not survive anywhere else but with us (not that I'm thinking of rehoming her, she is family and I love her dearly).
Akasha will growl at Loki whenever she sees him and will scream, as though in a terrible fight, when he is just trying to play with her (as any 2 year old would). We cannot get Loki to stop trying to play with her, he really wants her attention, he has not learned to leave her be. Kasha was still a kitten when we brought her home, so she and Tripsy have gotten used to each other, but do not play, only occasionally, very occasionally, cuddle. She usually finds a safe space to get away from Loki, but will tolerate Tripsy being in her personal space
We have tried pheromone diffusers, before he came into he house and after, but it does not seem to help anything.
Recently, we have had some issues with cats peeing on the floor next to the kitty boxes since taking Loki in, including one incident on the kitchen floor (different floor than the kitty boxes), to the point that we have had to wash the floors everyday where the kitty boxes normally live. This was atypical for our existing kitties, has never happened in the 9 years we have had the two cats together. We had added an extra box with the new kitty,
While Kasha has had some evacuation issues with the boxes, they were always solid waste, just outside the boxes, nothing close to what we are seeing now. We were blaming the new kitty, and are still not sure who to blame.
We had thought we have resolved these issues, with a new litter, Dr. Elseys Ultra, for those wondering, but we have come across a new issue,
Akasha has peed on our mattress, to the point that we have had to replace it (not an small cost), as we could not get the smell out. She has also peed on some clothes that were left on the floor for about 20 minutes (clothes do not reside on our floor for long). Super unusual!
I have spoken with my sister and she does not have an alternative to us having Loki in our home, she has floated the idea of a shelter (which can not happen) and my SO, who is more frustrated with the situation, has floated the idea of Craigslist. I hate the idea of a shelter for him and I hate the idea of him going to a home that is not family and who I am not sure of how they would handle Loki and ensure the care he needs.
I am wondering if anyone else had dealt with a similar situation, and interested in any advise that people out there might have,
Please help! I love all of these cats!
Will happily provide pictures of all Kitties included, but I can't seem to find a way to post this with this body and this is the important bit.

2023.05.02 02:24 shinigamieyes17 Buying pets off of craigslist?
Hey guys! So I decided to purchase a cat off of craigslist and I think I found a decent seller but I’m not fully sure.
Firstly, I decided to look into craigslist as an option since my friend got her dog from there, and the only issue he had was that he was covered in fleas. Other than that he’s been healthy and doing great. I, however, am looking for a cat, which leads me to my dilemma today.
I came across a listing earlier today where someone was listing some kittens for a good price. They left their phone number and offered for me to see them on FaceTime. Turns out the kittens are legit and are the same size, color and overall appearance as the listing. The only issue was that they asked for a small deposit to secure the kittens (most likely $20 or something), which I know is typically a scam, so I declined. They didn’t pressure me into giving him the money, just said that they’re unsure if the kittens will still be available by the end of the week, but they will keep me posted in case someone adopted them. The only other sketchy thing about it was that their phone number didn’t have a voicemail box (which I don’t think is TOO sketchy, but I was definitely wondering why they didn’t have one). The listing was also flagged and removed, which I’ve seen happen with a few other listings these past few days. So basically I just wanted to know if I should be concerned about this? I don’t want to waste money buying pet supplies just for this to end up being a scam. I’ve never done this before, and I’m praying for a positive outcome. Let me know any tips or stories you guys have had buying pets from Craigslist as well, thank you!
Edit: added a slight detail.

2023.04.28 03:41 -in-sane I accidentally lead my cat to his death...
I knew this cat ever since he was a kitten. He's 9 months now and I haven't been around to take care of him much due to work. Also I didn't think my family was a good fit for him seeing as how I'm the only one who really cleaned his bowls and let him out to run around and stuff, else they would keep him trapped in a room. So I ended up telling my mom we weren't a good first for him and she misinterpreted my concern for him as me being lazy and not wanting to take care of him. So my mom started taking care of him, but she ended up getting tired of taking care of him and tried to kick him out the house. I caught her in time and stopped her and told her there are better ways than to just literally throw him out of the house like that. I brought him right back in and put a ad for him on Craigslist. Someone answered the ad and eventually I drove to her job to drop him off as she requested. He didn't enjoy the ride, and he ended up puking in his cage.
So when we got there and I said my last goodbyes, they attempted to give him a quick bath due to the vomit that's on his furr. He freaks out over this and apparently scratchs the girls boss. The boss attempted to pick him up again it seems and he acted cuddly towards her and then bit her in the face. This is completely new for him as he has never done this in my care at all. He then kept himself hidden from everyone in one of their offices and she called me to come pick him back up (which I couldn't because I was already on the highway in traffic with no exits near by to lead me back there).
At this point, she ended up calling animal control or an officer or something and it was said that he either had to be quarantine for 10 days OR they would have to euthanize him and then test him for rabies. I told them there was no possible way he had rabies because ever since he's been with me he hasn't gone outside at all and was also tested for it and it showed up negative. So the woman told me she was just gonna put him to sleep since she wouldn't be able to take him home and since I wouldn't even be back in time to get him back. There's literally nothing else I can really do since now this is her cat but pray that in some possible way, she'll keep him or he'll find a good home. Anything other euthanasia.

2023.04.28 01:51 Aggravating_Use3802 Need help with extremely aggressive cat
Hi everyone. I have a really complicated, aggressive, fearful cat. I made a Reddit account just to post this so I could really use any kind of insight or advice😞 it’s gotten to the point where I’ve been suggested a cat psychic, so I’m desperate! This is going to be a really, really long post.
My cat Meatball was 40$ off Craigslist. I got her when she was 8 weeks old from someone in my neighborhood, she was a bonded cat with her brother or sister but someone else had only wanted one so I thought it would be perfect for me to help this cat. She’s a beautiful black cat that looks like the cat from Coraline, so it was perfect. It’s important for me to add that I love this cat with every ounce of my being and have never harmed, punished, or abused her in any way. One thing I will admit to is when she was a kitten, I played with her with my hands a lot. I would use my hands as toys essentially and she would bite and nibble but nothing too bad. I thought she would grow out of it maybe. Then when she was around 6 months old, I had noticed she had a bit of a behavior switch. She become more aggressive, loud, restless, and curious. I thought that meant she had to have been in heat. So I took her to the vet but they said she was not in heat yet but she needed all her vaccines and to come back in a couple months. Looking back now, I could probably confidently say that she WAS in heat- because that behavior just continued for the next couple of months, up until she was around a year old. This is where some traumatic things begin to happen to Meatball. When I first got meatball, I was living in a 3 bedroom apartment in the city. It was very spacious, light, and clean. During that time only one of my roommates was living there, and she left to back home after being there for about 5 months. They had a good bond and there were no problems between them, she had known her for as long as she’d known me at that point. Next, my other roommate comes back who hasn’t met Meatball yet, but the introduction went totally fine. The next month, we get a subleaser for the third bedroom and she’s there for about three months, and then leaves. Again, their relationship was totally fine. The following month, we get another new roommate to fill the 3rd bedroom and then she leaves after 2 months. So: 4 new people coming in and out over the total of about 6 months. Now, in January, I had the opportunity to study abroad for 3 months. I knew I couldn’t bring my cat and I was worried because I knew she had to have been close to going in heat, so I needed to get her neutered. I did not have the opportunity to get her neutered before I left, I had about a month to prepare, and my thought process was it was probably going to be better for her recovery wise if I was back home with her while she was healing. I was hoping she wouldn’t go into heat while I was gone, but right when I stepped on the plane my roommate texted me a video of her in obvious signs of heat. So, she had to deal with my cat being heat for the that entire time. Also, my initial roommate had returned to now sublease from me, living in my room. Meatball hated this and was extremely aggressive toward my roomates was living in my room, as she was probably extremely confused. Again, I love this cat so much, and processing these things makes me so sad for her because I know they were traumatic. Finally I return, get her neutered, but her behavior is still the same: aggressive, biting, meowing, etc. next, my roommate moves out whom my cat had bonded with over the past couple of months. I move into a studio apartment with her for only one month, and she hated it. She would attack me everyday, and the aggression towards strangers/other people coming over began. Moving her was a nightmare. Okay. So that was the first year of her life. The next year is filled with ups and downs and horror stories that I’m going to try my best to summarize next. I moved into a third apartment with her that was big and spacious. She loved it immediately one of my roomates has a cat as well, but we have a huge mesh cat barrier up to separate them by halves of the house- they both have a ton of room to run around and acclimated well to one another. Meatballs behavior improved incredibly, she was hanging out with other people and sniffing and playing with the other cat through the barrier. Then the worst bit of her behavior happened that I don’t think she will truly ever recover from or be the same after. Basically, someone was staying with us that brought a male cat over. I know this was a mistake but I had no idea this would happen, no one did. Basically, the way I describe it, the way the vet has described it is meatball just got extremely territorial and some kind of flip switched. She attacked me to the point where I have scars that will never go away, I had to call animal control, she was in the vet for 2 days, and was yelling and screaming the whole time. She wouldn’t let me or anyone near her, it’s like she didn’t recognize me. Finally I get her back from the vet because all they said was she is a perfectly healthy cat with behavior problems. So, I order pheromone spray, pheromone plug ins, and calming cat collar. These worked for months, but they recently have seemed to have stopped working. I replaced them and bought new ones. She can tolerate people walking through my room to get to the back door, but that’s it. And now recently she has been meowing and biting and scratching me again. Basically—- I have an extremely aggressive and fearful cat who hates people and barely likes me. I understand I have done some things wrong and take full responsibility, but I love this cat more than anything. The thought of rehoming her would destroy me and I struggle to thing I would ever recover but it’s gotten to the point where I don’t know if I can take care of her anymore. I can’t have people over and truly I’m getting scared of her sometimes. Is rehoming the only option?

2023.04.17 00:17 SeriouslyCrafty Try to screw me? No, screw you, buddy.
This happened in like 2010 and was just reminded of it recently. I definitely wasn't competition innocent in this but I felt like I was being taken advantage of.
I had just moved back to Denver after living in the mountains for a few years. I was sleeping on my friends couch while I found my own place. Searching through craigslist I found a room in a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. It was being advertised by the current tenant looking for a roommate. $450 a month, all inclusive.
I went to meet the guy and toured the apartment. Everything seemed fine. Guy seemed fairly normal and had stable job. He wanted $450 deposit and first months rent. We agreed on the first month up front and the deposit in two weeks when I got paid next. He says that he's the sole lease holder with the landlord and that we can have a roommate agreement/lease that's separate. Easy enough for me.
I moved in and things just didn't go very smoothly.
First, there was no AC in the unit and summers in Denver can get quite hot. My fault for not checking first. Oh well.
He was about 22 years old on a budget so he cooked frequently (I think I was like 25/26 at the time for perspective). No problem. Except he didn't like to do the dishes. The kitchen was pretty much unusable because every day he would wreck it. His solution for himself was to just rinse off what he needed to cook for himself and leave the mess. I attempted to address it with him but he was noncommittal and just continued doing what he does.
He got a kitten the week I moved in. I don't hate cats but I'm mildly allergic. I also don't like the smell of the litter box, which he kept in the bathroom. The kitten also had a penchant for attacking the toilet paper roll until it was unwound and all over the place. The roommates parents lived nearby and he would go visit them on weekends. Leaving there cat and mess. Great.
At the time I worked graveyard shifts at a hotel downtown. So, I'd leave for work around 10pm and get home around 8am. Roommate would invite friends over during the week and play video games all day long. They were beyond loud. They set up a big sound system and would play Madden all day. I bought a very loud portable AC unit for my room and wore headphones in an attempt to cover the sound from the living room. I'm not a light sleeper and they would just rock the whole building. Again, tried to communicate but he just didn't cooperate or try to be reasonable. In addition to the sound they would leave empty beer cans everywhere. It started to smell like a brewery.
Basically, I'm sequestered to my room at all times I'm home. Kitchen and living space were pretty unusable to me. So, not a great living space.
Two weeks goes by and he starts pestering me for that deposit. At this point I'm kind of over it. I'm a pretty easy going person and can usually get by in most situations but, I wasn't enjoying this and was considering bailing.
The weekend approaches and he texts me that he's heading to his parents for the weekend and we'll discuss the deposit when he gets back and that he'll have the roommate agreement ready for me to sign. I come home from my night shift and a couple building residents are just hanging out front and we make some small talk. Come to find out roommate got fired this week and that the landlord just found out. I also learned that the landlord lives in the building.
I go inside, enter the apartment and within 30 seconds the landlord comes knocking. A. He wanted to meet me and B. He wanted to talk about rent, deposit, cat deposit, and employment of his tenants.
Come to find out total rent for the entire unit was $450 a month, not including utilities. (oh my how Denver has changed since then). Landlord was also wanting to collect a pet deposit of $450 for the cat and was worried about the cleanliness he could see from the doorway. Landlord was nice enough but clearly was worried about this unit. He also didn't put any of this on me. He recognized that I wasn't on his lease but insinuated that he'd like to have a lease in place with me rather than the agreement I made with roommate. Fair. I told him I'd explore my options and be in touch.
Anyways, I'd had enough. I called up my best friends. We rented a U-Haul and moved out as fast as I could. Luckily only took a couple hours and no one in the building was surprised. I explained to one of the neighbors EVERYTHING. The rent price. The cat. The mess. The noise. "feel free to share that with him when he gets home".
To top it all off, one of my buddies dropped a massive deuce before leaving and didn't flush.🙈
Anyways, He tries to call me the next week a few times. Left a voicemail thanking me for the bathroom present,"telling me off", and informing me that his lawyer would be in touch.
Haven't heard from him since.
TL;DR Roommate was gross and tried to get away with passing off 100% rent on me. I moved out once the full picture presented itself.

2023.04.16 07:30 Due-Corner150 Why Is My Cat So Hostile?
| I got my cat off of craigslist two years ago, she was two then. She hid from me and hissed for the first two weeks. After about four months she fully accepted me and doesn't scratch much. She is four and a half, female, spayed, and has anxiety from when she was younger. I don't think she was socialized to other cats. But whenever other people come over she she hides and hisses when they get too close. She also hissed when I brought home a dish towel I rubbed against a friend's cat to see how she would react. Or sometimes when I bring home groceries. We are a bonded pair and I am keeping her. But I am planning on getting another cat or kitten later this year and introducing them the Jackson Galaxy way. The odds are slim. But I want to be surrounded by life at home and I picked the hostile psycho cat. She can be scary. Very feisty. My question is: for those of you who have had your cat reject other cats you tried to adopt how did accept having just them? If I can't get another pet to stick it's just me and her for 15 more years. submitted by Due-Corner150 to cats [link] [comments] |
2023.04.11 18:05 buprestibae my cat won't stop biting me - i'm at the end of my rope
I've had my kitty Ikura (2 y.o) since October of this year. I am at least her third home, I got her from Craigslist and the previous owner adopted her from a shelter. She was rehomed because the previous owner already had 2 other cats and they were bullying her. No idea why she was brought to the shelter in the first place, they wouldn't tell me. For the first month or so, she was an absolute angel. Super snuggly, affectionate, 10/10 cat. Then, the ankle biting started. She is constantly going after me, my toes/shins/ankles/hands, etc. Most of the time it is fairly gentle, but it still hurts/startles me. I suspect when she was a kitten somebody played with their hands constantly and now it's ingrained behavior.
I've tried everything in the Jackson Galaxy playbook. I play with her twice a day for 15 mins, vigorous play sessions. She eats high quality food. No medical issues. Tons of toys and cat trees and birds to watch etc. I even got her a sibling because I thought maybe she was lonely and a kitten would teach her bite inhibition (spoiler alert: it did not). I've tried ignoring her, hissing/meowing loudly at her, literally everything except for the dreaded spray bottle, which is next.
I'm completely exhausted and frazzled. I haven't been inside my apartment without shoes since I got her, I can't wear shorts for fear of being bitten. It's completely unpredictable. I'll literally just be sitting down and she comes over and bites me. She bites me when I pet her, she bites me when I don't. I'm seriously considering rehoming her. I can't live with a cat that I'm constantly on edge around. Any advice is welcome.
