We would like to update you on the latest position regarding the planned blackout we announced last week.
As you are aware, Reddit made some changes to their API prices which impacts a great many of us all in the way we interact with the website. The most impactful change that was announced by Reddit was the cost model for API calls - unfortunately this has resulted in a number of third party apps deciding they are unable to continue operating, and have since announced shutdowns due to their exposure to a significant cost that they cannot recoup. Apollo, RIF, Relay With these shutdowns we lose ease of use such as accessibility, moderation tools, and a number of user friendly clients.
As an attempt to engage with the Reddit user base, Reddit's CEO Steve Huffman (aka u/spez) held an AMA with the view that he would be addressing concerns about the changes. Unfortunately the responses provided by Steve and his team only proved to show that they are firm on their changes, are not offering solutions, and are in fact continuing to slander third party app developers as an attempt to portray their own narrative.

It is clear that the only motivation Reddit has is to drive maximum profit - at the expense of its users, moderators, and app developers - who have all helped Reddit grow into the community it is today... many of whom have invested a considerable number of hours in doing so with no expectation of reward. The changes proposed are a slap in the face for all of the individuals supporting the site.
In an attempt to show Reddit the importance of all those users and moderators that make the community function, we are joining many other subreddits in extending the proposed blackout for an additional 24 hours - this subreddit will be unavailable from Monday 12th June until Wednesday 14th June. We will also reevaluate and consider our options after the 48 hour blackout.

I have an i7-7700k and an RX6600, 32 GB of RAM - I know I should be getting good enough performance in iRacing VR, and the sim runs smoothly at 90 Hz with 1.7x on the quest software (I've tried to keep a lot of settings low for now to get it how I want before I bump anything up).
I've used the iRacing VR guides extensively, countless youtube videos etc. but the one thing I CANNOT get rid of is the "heat haze" effect that seems to exist on the fences/grass banks/horizon/the upcoming corner at the end of the straight.
I'm using openXR and most guides I see seem to emphasize sharpness so I've got that at 100% with the resolution in openXR to 50%. I also saw a guide say that the sharpening clamp being too far can make the horizon jagged so I reduced that but no difference. I'm really not sure what is causing it. I'd be grateful if anyone can help - I can provide more info. as required but have also put in my .ini settings and my oculus debugger settings. I am also unsure on my AMD software settings but I can't really post those.

SMW is now a development territory for WCW. WCW will give SMW stars featured spots on their programming as well as loaning roster members to bolster SMW programming.
At the top of the card in WWF Ric Flair and The Warrior are working a program, TV ratings are dropping. WCW ratings are strong.
WCW TV May 17th - June 16th
Sting and Ron.Simmons have now joined forces to battle Hercules Hernandez and Big Van Vader. Sting was wrestling Hernandez and Vader atracked Sting, Simmons hit the ring to even sides. Both teams were showcased in squash matches to lead up to a big Tag Team match for the Clash.
The Dangerous Alliance turned on Larry Zbyszko. Paul E. Dangerously told Zbyszko he was a disappointment for his lose at Wrestle War and Zbyszko slapped Dangerously. Zbyszko was then attacked by his team mates.
Zbyszko will take on Steve Austin at The Clash.
Windham and Rhodes continue to look strong as a tag Team heading into the event.
Sid Vicious got a few TV wins over Cactus Jack. After their second encounter Vicious lifted Cactus up and showed him respect for a hard fought match. Cactus just stared at him and shouted "Bang! Bang!", then he walked away.
Lex Luger was built well to take on Rick Rude and possibly win the WCW World Title.
Luger defeated Arn Anderson and Kevin Nash on the build to the TV special. In a shocking turn of events Luger had a motorcycle accident.and nearly lost his arm. Luckily the arm was saved and he had a metal plate inserted into his forearm to hold the arm together. Luger will be out of action for around 6 months.
Ricky Steamboat won a number one contenders battle Royal to get back in the title hunt and he will challenge Rude at the Clash.

WCW World Television Champion Bret Hart made Greg Valentine submit to the Sharpshooter at 11 mins 23 secs.
The Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Tom Prichard) with Jim Cornette defeated Danny Davis & Scott Armstrong at 8 mins 22 secs when Lane pinned Davis after a Savate Kick. This match is the first in the SMW deal.
Jimmy Garvin and Tom Zenk defeated DDP and 'Big Money' Kevin Nash at 8 mins 11 secs when Zenk pinned DDP after a Superkick.
Steve Austin pinned Larry Zbyszko at 11 mins 34 secs. Zbyszko had Austin pinned after a Brainbuster but Paul E. Dangerously had the referee distracted and Bobby Eaton dropped a top rope knee on Zbyszko allowing Austin to get the win.
Cactus Jack wrestled Marc Mero to a No contest in 6 mins 21 secs. At the conclusion the ref was bumped and Cactus got a chair from ringside. Sid Vicious ran down and took the chair from Cactus. Cactus just stared at Vicious and Sid through the chair to the outside as Mero got back to his feet. Vicious said to Cactus "Not like that, like this". Vicious kicked Mero in the midsection and Powerbombed him to the shock of everybody in attendance. Cactus hugged Vicious. Jimmy Garvin and Tom Zenk hit the ring and Vicious and Cactus destroyed them both. The referee came to and called the match out. Sid just got Vicious again.
Dustin Rhodes and Barry Windham defeated Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton for the WCW World Tag Team Championships at 16 mins 21 secs. Windham pinned Eaton after the Superplex.
Sting and Ron Simmons defeated Big Van Vader and Hercules Hernandez at 9 mins 57 secs. Simmons pinned Vader after hitting the Spinebuster for a clean pinfall win.
WCW World Heavyweight Champion Rick Rude defeated Ricky Steamboat at 18 mins 11 secs by pinfall after manager Paul E. Dangerously distracted the referee allowing Rude to level Steamboat with the Cellphone.
Steamboat put on a striking performance and really got over with the fans. Rick Rude beaten and exhausted once again retained the title.

WWF is dropping in popularity. The Warrior isn't pulling in the numbers anyone expected and Ric Flair is not drawing with the current creative. Flair and Randy Savage are expected to headline Summerslam.

Sid Vicious and Cactus Jack new alliance was stuck a blow. After they defeated Jimmy Garvin and Tom Zenk in a tag team match they continued the beat down only to be sent reeling into retreat by Sting and Brian Pillman.
Vicious will meet Sting and Cactus Jack will meet Pillman at The Bash.
After lose to Steve Austin at the Clash Larry Zbyszko came to the WCW Saturday Night set to announce his retirement. In a shock turn his mentor Bruno Sammartino interrupted him and told him he was not finished. Bruno said it was time to go back to basics and remember who he really is, not a member of an alliance but the Living Legend. Zbyszko hugged Bruno and agreed with him. The following week both men came out to the arena together and announced that Zbyszko was coming to get his former team mates one by one until he is standing in the ring with Ravishing Rick Rude. Sammartino said he has got.a few friends to even the sides up with the Dangerous Alliance and when they were needed they would be revealed.

SMW is now a development territory for WCW. WCW will give SMW stars featured spots on their programming as well as loaning roster members to bolster SMW programming.
At the top of the card in WWF Ric Flair and The Warrior are working a program, TV ratings are dropping. WCW ratings are strong.

Sting and Ron.Simmons have now joined forces to battle Hercules Hernandez and Big Van Vader. Sting was wrestling Hernandez and Vader atracked Sting, Simmons hit the ring to even sides. Both teams were showcased in squash matches to lead up to a big Tag Team match for the Clash.
The Dangerous Alliance turned on Larry Zbyszko. Paul E. Dangerously told Zbyszko he was a disappointment for his lose at Wrestle War and Zbyszko slapped Dangerously. Zbyszko was then attacked by his team mates.
Zbyszko will take on Steve Austin at The Clash.
Windham and Rhodes continue to look strong as a tag Team heading into the event.
Sid Vicious got a few TV wins over Cactus Jack. After their second encounter Vicious lifted Cactus up and showed him respect for a hard fought match. Cactus just stared at him and shouted "Bang! Bang!", then he walked away.
Lex Luger was built well to take on Rick Rude and possibly win the WCW World Title.
Luger defeated Arn Anderson and Kevin Nash on the build to the TV special. In a shocking turn of events Luger had a motorcycle accident.and nearly lost his arm. Luckily the arm was saved and he had a metal plate inserted into his forearm to hold the arm together. Luger will be out of action for around 6 months.
Ricky Steamboat won a number one contenders battle Royal to get back in the title hunt and he will challenge Rude at the Clash.

Cactus just stared at Vicious and Sid through the chair to the outside as Mero got back to his feet. Vicious said to Cactus "Not like that, like this". Vicious kicked Mero in the midsection and Powerbombed him to the shock of everybody in attendance. Cactus hugged Vicious. Jimmy Garvin and Tom Zenk hit the ring and Vicious and Cactus destroyed them both. The referee came to and called the match out. Sid just got Vicious again.
