Like they believe anything which bjp has done is the absolute speed limit and there couldn't be anything done better and we don't have anything to learn from other countries.

Is anyone working on a way to overlay a virtual world on top of LIDAR type hardware spatial awareness? Like instead of my bed it’s a giant sandwich, or instead of my couch it’s a giant hot dog. Ok I need lunch… I think textures rather than shapes would obviously be a lot easier. But it would be neat to be able to interact with (and avoid obstacles & such) real world objects with a virtual texture.
Is anybody working on this? Has this already been done? Any references?
If not, what are the hurdles and challenges to making this happen?

Setup includes:
The other day i tried using Gillette mach3 just to see how different it felt and i think I've forgotten how to use it, lol. Couldn't go beyond few strokes.
Good thing with DE is getting clean shaves like i haven't got before. It makes me want to shave. So far my favourite blade is peramsharp green ones out of all 4. I still have Wilkinson and Winner blades left to be tried.
After number of tries I've understood one thing, no matter what i do i always have extra strands of tough hair that don't cut. Even after 3 passes i had to not apply the cream and use my 2 fingers to stretch the skin from ear to cheek slowly and keep stroking the spot being uncovered to get those little hairs that refuse to be cut. Because of this, i have stopped applying shaving cream for XTG. And simply start stretching and complete the shave. Otherwise i ended up with 4-5-6 passes. Without doing this there's always some strands left.
I don't know YouTube videos and most people get clean shaves, I'm unable to. But this change has helped me.
I think i got hold of the technique fairly good, as i was able to keep a French beard, goatee, only moustache using DE razor. Till last week i used feathers and didn't get any nicks or cuts either.
But yesterday I tried Gillette Super Platinum (black) and my god i received so many cuts nicks, red areas. Under the lip cut didn't stop bleeding for several mins and i had to put a mountain of turmeric powder on top and lie down to make it stop. Lesson learnt - you can never relax when try a new blade. But it surprised me as i went without nicks and cuts using Feathers which I've read are supposed to be sharpest and they do feel so too.
One trouble area is neck, i have to have last pass on it without cream too but still very few strands get left out sometimes, i guess that's part of it because of the sloping curve and inability to pull much skin?
Oh the blade samples i bought was using the contact details of someone who sells at reddit sub. So big thanks to /Wicked_edge and /Wetshavers_India for being my internet parents for teaching me how to shave, where to buy, to try different blades and so on.

I got Covid-19 when I was 14, then had long covid and lost my eyesight.
I wasn't able to do the things I used to do and I had to re learn a lot of stuff.
I got an Assistance Dog for Guide Work and some other things, and here I am now, powering through.
I may not have my vision, but I have resilience... to anyone who feels like there is no hope.. just know there is ALWAYS a light at the end of the tunnel, and a rainbow around every corner.
I thought that guys wouldn't date me... yet here I am with the best boyfriend in the world...
I thought I could never take public transport again or do things by myself... but here I am doing it!
You have got this and I hope all of you who feel lonely or left out know that it GETS BETTER!!

The one year anniversary of my fathers suicide is coming up in a little over a week, I have had many bad days and yes good ones too. The bad days and good ones come in waves but lately the bad ones have been overwhelmingly painful. My father was a colonel in the military, never drank or did drugs and was the best father I could have had. The strongest person I knew. I don’t know how I am supposed to be stronger than he could be by continuing this life. I used to be afraid of death but now find myself wishing it would come sooner for the slight chance I may see him again. One year seems impossible how could it be one year since I heard his voice. I don’t want to exist in a world without him in it. I am trying so hard, I really am. I know he would want me to be happy and live on but I don’t want to, I just want my dad. I feel like a toddler having tantrums for not getting what I so desperately want. The pain is unbearable, I don’t understand why he left me, I don’t understand how I didn’t know. I don’t know how to keep going and honestly I don’t know if I can or if I want to. I know I am loved, I know there are people here for me and I recognize that j am lucky for what I do have but I am tired of crying to friends and family of repeating the same things over and over again. I am exhausted from it that I have found I am stopping myself from reaching out because if I’m exhausted from feeling it, they must be exhausted from hearing it. I feel like a bad friend, I can’t always show up for my friends the way I used to. I hate that I am not only grieving my father but also the person I was when he was here. I am not okay and I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to live anymore, I just want to be with my father.

I came across a similar thread and like fr this is really a concern. I'm doing my engineering from India, third year. Its pretty much same as Nepal. Dumb education system. I'm good at nothing. Engineering sakina laisakyo i don't even think I'm worthy to graduate. Like i got really good CGPA(>9) and I can do some basic stuffs like developing basic websites and apps, some malware analysis and other basic computer stuffs. But I don't think it's enough. Like the world is really competitive rn. Kei skills haru sikam vane ni academic stuffs le garda consistent huna sakidaina. Aba bachelor sakera bidesh nai jane sochiraxu. In a way I feel bad for taking decision late because +2 sakera bidesh gako sathi haru kaa pugisake. Ps. Setup includes:
The other day i tried using Gillette mach3 just to see how different it felt and i think I've forgotten how to use it, lol. Couldn't go beyond few strokes.
Good thing with DE is getting clean shaves like i haven't got before. It makes me want to shave. So far my favourite blade is peramsharp green ones out of all 4. I still have Wilkinson and Winner blades left to be tried.
After number of tries I've understood one thing, no matter what i do i always have extra strands of tough hair that don't cut. Even after 3 passes i had to not apply the cream and use my 2 fingers to stretch the skin from ear to cheek slowly and keep stroking the spot being uncovered to get those little hairs that refuse to be cut. Because of this, i have stopped applying shaving cream for XTG. And simply start stretching and complete the shave. Otherwise i ended up with 4-5-6 passes. Without doing this there's always some strands left.
I don't know YouTube videos and most people get clean shaves, I'm unable to. But this change has helped me.
I think i got hold of the technique fairly good, as i was able to keep a French beard, goatee, only moustache using DE razor. Till last week i used feathers and didn't get any nicks or cuts either.
But yesterday I tried Gillette Super Platinum (black) and my god i received so many cuts nicks, red areas. Under the lip cut didn't stop bleeding for several mins and i had to put a mountain of turmeric powder on top and lie down to make it stop. Lesson learnt - you can never relax when try a new blade. But it surprised me as i went without nicks and cuts using Feathers which I've read are supposed to be sharpest and they do feel so too.
One trouble area is neck, i have to have last pass on it without cream too but still very few strands get left out sometimes, i guess that's part of it because of the sloping curve and inability to pull much skin?
Oh the blade samples i bought was using the contact details of someone who sells at reddit sub. So big thanks to /Wicked_edge and /Wetshavers_India for being my internet parents for teaching me how to shave, where to buy, to try different blades and so on.

I broke up with my previous girlfriend in March 2022, our relationship lasted for over 6 years. Break up was a decision by both of us, no fights about it whatsoever and it was fairly easy to go on with my life. There was nothing catastrophically wrong in our relationship, but we were more like just really good friends. I won't go into more detail about the breakup here, I don't think it's relevant. Anyways, after the breakup we still got along really well, met up occasionally and maybe once every 2-3 weeks had a call to catch-up. Theres nothing romantic anymore, we even freely shared stories about our new relationships with the opposite sex, gave dating advice etc and I've never felt any jealousy about her now going out with other men. I'm happy for her. It's more like we're brother and sister now, because we got into a relationship very early in our lives and we grew up together, becoming adults.
The decision to get into a new relationship that quickly wasn't easy, but it just seems like we're a perfect match, we get along very well, have similar values in life, like the same things and we both have lots to learn from each other. This is the first serious relationship for her. It's been almost half a year now, things are going very well overall and we love each other, but there are some things I'd like to discuss and know your opinions.
Let's get back to my previous girlfriend now. Basically, my current girlfriend just couldn't handle me still being in contact with my ex and getting along that well. Few months back, she went to a Berlin trip with her friend (girl) to go to rave parties. Every day, they (not my GF, but her friend) swiped men from Tinder to hang out, attend to parties and do drugs together. Okay, I do understand that it's easier with men because there's less drama. But Tinder? I don't know. I don't like the idea other men flirting with her at all, especially when they don't know that she's in a relationship. It's OK that men do it, especially with girls found from Tinder, of course, but since she is not letting them know she's not available, it's not fair and men will obviously try, buy them drinks and flirt. Like, as a guy, I would like to know such information. She said no men were ever interested in her and made no moves whatsoever. But at the same time, she said one guy massaged her scalp in one of the clubs (and she told me that only just at this point she said that she's taken to the guy) and there were lots of hugging and stuff. She says it's completely normal and just good behaviour, guys being kind to them. I see it as obvious flirting. Feels like she really enjoys attention from other men... When she came back, I told everything about how I feel about it. She defends herself and says it's all OK. However, we agreed that in the future she'll always tell guys who are trying to flirt with her that she's taken. But again, it seems that she's kind of naive and doesn't even understand when guys are trying to flirt with her and labels it as just kindness.
Yesterday, she was at work (she works as a bartender in a spa). She works together with a guy who makes music and is pretty well known in my country. She said that the guy said to her that she has beautiful eyes, they hugged and even before the end of her shift, he gifted her a lollipop. She was very happy about all of that. That made me very jealous. After her shift, we met and I asked her about it. Since it was pretty late, I was tired and have thought about that all day, my communication style about it may have a bit aggressive and not so friendly and it sparked a huge conflict between us. I asked about the hug, who initiated it and how long it lasted. Obviously, the guy did and she said it was ~15 seconds, so a very long hug. Again, she says it's all very normal, only kindness by him, they're getting along well and they are just goofing around... She says that it's all in my head, I shouldn't feel what I do and I have to deal with my issues, go to therapist etc, she thinks jealously is one of the worst things to feel and I shouldn't.. And I asked if the guy knows she is in relationship. She said yes. Because apparently some other men from her work know that she is and "men talk to each other and obviously he knows".. So she hasn't said that to him directly and I really doubt that he really knows and is trying to hit on her. It seems that she really enjoys the attention from him (also since he is kind of well-known guy in my country).
IDK, what do you think? Am I being overly jealous and should I really deal with it and search for help, go to therapy to get over such feelings? I have this idea for an animated story about a group of Secret police called Aegis who hunt imaginary monsters who have gone mad and are now raging beasts called Echoes with divine objects(haven't thought of a name for these). My story revolves around a young boy who is drawn into this world and has to pursue and capture an Echo which seeks to eliminate Aegis agents out of a desire for survival.
How can I improve my world building? Is the magic system I have developed too complicated? Would you say it is hard or soft magic? Have you noticed any contradictions in the world building so far?
Regarding world building -
Certain people are born with Morphis or depending on the circumstance it can be activated if dormant in the family tree.
Level 0 - the weakest level, people with this level of Morphis can sense Echoes but cannot see them (This fades with age until eventually ordinary people can barely register them unless they are particularly imaginative.
Level 1 - Most Aegis Field Agents are on this level - they can only access one mythological object and access its power. Drawbacks - Tiredness and training need to wield the object.
Level 2 - Stronger Aegis agents can access two mythological objects. Tiredness and hunger.
Level 3 - The strongest and rarest Aegis agents can access three mythological objects with little strain to their bodies but the main drawback is intense aging.
