I’ve been reading about this ‘pay wall’ for the last few days and I thought everyone was talking about main content. And being upset for having to pay for main quest content is understandable, I’d be frustrated too.
So I did all of Fairy Godmother’s quests and still nothing. I became confused asking myself “where’s the pay wall?” Then I realized everyone is talking about the Wall-E bundle. Which to me, it’s like a DLC in a sense. I understand why games charge for DLC, and I don’t complain about having to pay for it when I choose to.
But that’s the thing. You can CHOOSE whether you want it or not. You don’t seem to need Wall-E’s bundle to progress through the main game as far as I can tell. It’s simply extra content if you would like to pay for it. Not to mention, you don’t only pay for the quests, but also for additional costumes and items.
Can everyone explain to me their point of view? Because I honestly don’t have a problem with how Gameloft has decided to go about this.
