I was expecting this, but not so soon (silly me). Two weeks ago, I (35F) moved from the eastern US to Kansas in order to be closer to family. I'm 35F, single, and childfree by choice. My brother and his wife have my niece, who I love (but she is my family. Other people's kids...not always fond of), but a lot of their activities focus around kids and most of my SIL's friends are "mom friends."
Today was my niece's dance recital, and I met one of my SIL's friends today. She was very friendly, asked me where I moved from and what kinds of things I like to do. Then she started saying about how many great things to do there are here (emphasizing that you have to look for them, because rural places naturally have less going on than cities as far as entertainment), but said that there are great "date places and things to do with the family."
The assumption that I have a partner didn't surprise me, because that happens everywhere. But it was pretty clear she meant things to do with my future family because she immediately started talking about how, when she moved here from the west coast, also single, it was a culture shock, but now it was so much better with her husband and her daughter and how they always had things to do.
I've lived in rural places before, so I knew I would (and will continue to) encounter it. But I literally said "hi" and the name of the city I came from to this woman and she's already projecting a family on me.
Also, for anyone on the fence about kids: the dance recital was 3.5 hours with one 10-minute intermission, and the people behind us had massive B.O. issues. Even my mom mentioned it after we got in the car. But apparently that kind of runtime is the norm for these recitals. My niece had five costumes for five dances that my brother and SIL had to buy, which were all professionally made and distinctive enough as themed dance costumes that she won't be able to wear them again as anything else. Some of the teens in the older classes had 20 costumes.

I may be wrong, but I've assumed anime/Manga is the main purpose Ibis was designed for, so that's the style used in the official guide tutorials, & also the majority of the custom brushes.
I'd love to carve out a little group on here to talk about realism in Ibis specifically, like maybe a flair for easy sorting or something?

Scrubs it was definitely one of my favorite shows but I haven’t really watched it in at least a decade. I really used to really dislike Dr. Cox for being so mean to JD and the least favorite part of the show for me was the janitor and how he just randomly tormented JD however as I am re-watching I notice that it doesn’t bother me as much and I can see a lot of Dr. Cox‘s behaviors were justifiable especially when they did the episode about JD getting his own med student. And the janitor just seems like a blip in most episodes and I find it much more funny than I used to.
How do you all feel about these two characters? Do you feel like Dr. Cox is unfairly mean to JD? Do you think the janitor is extra? Or do you like these characters?

This is just an explanation if grief I once heard and I wanted to share it
I heard a great explanation of moving through grief after losing my son. It said that the pain never goes away and it never gets smaller. But. Life grows around it. It's like there is a pain button in a circle and your grief is a ball inside the circle and sometimes the it hits the pain button and you feel it. When your grief is new the circle is very small and the grief ball hits that pain button A LOT. but as time passes the circle gets bigger as it is filled in by the rest of your life. So over time the ball bounces around wth the same ferocity but it hits the button less often. Sure when it hits its like getting barreled down by that tidal wave all over again, but you will get more and more time in between hits and your life will continue to grow. You are not meant to be dominated by that grief forever. So sit with it while it is there. It is valid and real. But do not despair because you will again learn to live and love again and THAT IS OK. it is no disrespect to your loved one to let your life grow around their loss. This was the hardest part for me, to not feel guilty about getting better and moving on. It felt like a slight against my son to not cry every day for him. But it does come and it's OK to heal. It doesn't mean you've forgotten them or love them any less.
Be kind to yourself above all else. Healing is how we honor them and create a beautiful life that treasures their memory and their influence.

Ive been depressed my entire life, I could never recall being happy, this year (senior year of hs) everything changed, I had a lot of fun, made lots of friends and had a reason to get out of bed, I was excited for my art assignments and really loved speaking with my teachers. They are like friends to me. The first friend I made this year ( we will call her Jay.) Gave me confidence to talk more and be myself. She saved me and dosent even know it. Every day I woke up and felt motivated to dress up and go talk with my friends, work on my art projects and other classes. That all sounds good but now theres a problem
Im graduating in a few days, and now all of this will be gone. Im afraid. So afraid. My reason to get out of bed will be gone, I wont be motivated to get up, instead ill be going to the job that I hate, the fun is over and im so scared of having to live the way i did. How can i make sure i dont fall back into the hole i was in? I dont want to live like this.. how does an adult stay happy?

Long story short, am lucky to be chosen as one of the testers. Being rejected initially and received another confirmation email after a week or so. Received the tracking details and received the parcels in another week or so. Since I have and still using (and will continue to use) the 5MP E1 Outdoor IP Camera, this entire test review will mostly base on my personal use and the comparison will between both the 5MP and 4K model. First Impression The box came with the standard Reolink E1 Outdoor accessories, extension cable, 12v adapter, short ethernet cable, screws with wall plugs and mount. The hardware itself is somewhat similar to the 5MP E1 Outdoor (not sure internally) apart from the 4K sensor (since this is a 4K version right).

Recordings YES, definitely yes, there are improvements, sharper image, better quality and of course you don't get to use more space since it is recording in H265 format which suppose to be more efficient. The night time detection (comparing to the 5MP version, the new 4K WIFI 6 definitely much snappier in term of response time in switching from IR to spotlight (I am testing both by hardwiring both to my network switch to rule out the possibility of WIFI 6 being faster than the WIFI 5 IP Camera). Connectivity you bet it, yes WIFI 6 definitely much better in term of connection but I can't really measure it unless I can run speediest on the camera itself right. However, when comes to range part, it seems that the E1 series have weaker wifi antenna or probably due to internal? Not sure about this though. Tracking as mentioned above, to me it seems that the outer part is identical to the 5MP version, as such I cannot say if the tracking mechanism has been upgraded or what. I believe, the million dollar question people (or at least those who owns or owned the 5MP version like me) gonna ask is whether the NEW 4K E1 OUTDOOR PRO (WIFI 6) still 'drift' or lose its monitor point?? The answer to this is YES (this was pointed out by the YouTuber Lifehackster in reviewing the 4K E1 POE as well). Honestly quite disappointed in this but hey, it has better sensors and WIFI 6 which supposedly better. And to me, like most of the E1 Outdoor owners, we end up using it without the auto tracking which it works like charm. I personally use it as indoor IP Camera, install it at the top corner of my living room, covering almost entire living room with the 90+ degree FOV (which for this 4K version I believe it should be 94 degree? slightly wider than the 5MP version). To sum this up, YES this is definitely a better camera than the 5MP version. Pros

Good upgrade? must get? to me yes (of course it depends how Reolink going to price this product since by increasing the price slightly then it might get too close to Trackmix price range). That being said, the above is merely base on my personal test / share experience as an end user. Not any professional reviewer. Eventide Island has a Sky Island above it that is very far up. Reaching that island can be tricky and time consuming. The goal is to design an Ultrahand Creation that reaches the island quickly and efficiently. Link must start on the surface, and reach the unnamed Sky Island with or without the Ultrahand Creation.Details regarding submissions will be organized at a later date. There is currently no prize as I am not familiar with contest law. As such, despite having a judging process this competition is strictly for fun. Submissions will however be compiled into a video and showcased back to the community.

- Efficiency
- How many Energy Cell blocks are consumed
- Speed
- How long it takes to accomplish the goal
- Creativity
- 10 days from now a community poll will be created to judge most creative creations
- Each category will be compared against other submissions and receive a number of points based on how it compares to each other submission
- For example, if there are 10 submissions, the fastest creation will receive 10 points, and the slowest will receive 1 point
- The same will be applied for Energy Cell efficiency and creativity
- All 3 categories will be added up and the submission with the highest point total wins
Some more to know going into the competition:
- Creations should be your own
- Time starts when the device is first activated
- Use of Recall is not allowed
- Link can start at any starting location on the Surface
- Link needs to survive the journey, but is allowed to take damage
- Link is allowed to dismount the device and use up to 3 bars of Stamina paragliding
- Use of any materials is allowed, even hard to get materials and objects found throughout Hyrule
- Ultrahand Creations should be creatable using Autobuild
- This by extension disallows the usage of loose objects
- Submission deadline is June 14th, 6:00pm PST

In response to your favorite movie - I have seen "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" and when I watched it I went into it not knowing anything about the movie or its plot. I was very confused when I watched it and honestly had no idea what was going on the whole time, so afterwards I watched a youtube video that explained the movie and then it all made sense to me, and I definitely appreciated it a lot more after understanding it. To answer your question, my favorite movie of all time is Brother Bear! It has been my favorite movie as long as I remember, I still have my original VHS tape my parents got for me when I was just a baby. I grew up on that movie and it has never stopped being such an amazing movie to me. I have made countless video edits of it and also collect any Brother Bear merchandise that I can find! Thank you so much for sharing and for the awesome postcard :)

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am shipping a 20ft container from Indonesia(Surabaya port) to Chicago port. From there it will be trucked to a loading dock in Milwaukee to be unloaded. It is household goods as I lived overseas and just moved back to the states.
My freight forwarder in Bali has already been paid FOB from Bali to Surabaya port. His quote for a 20ft shipping container from Surabaya to Chicago was $6500 and trucking from Chicago port to a loading dock in Milwaukee was $3000, unloading not included.
After researching prices, I told him his rates seemed higher than average. He told me he was using a freight forwarder state side and would try to get a better price. He came back with a price of $3800 for the 20ft container and trucking price is still $3000. The $3800 is quite a difference from the initial estimate.
After calling around for my own estimates, it seems like the trucking price is still almost double of what I was able to find myself. The lowest container price I found was about $3000 but that was using searates.com and icontainers.com and I'm not sure how reliable those prices are.
I would like to know if there is a reliable, trustworthy logistics/freight forwarder that I can contact to give me an accurate quote for the shipping and trucking and who will take care of the ISF and Customs clearance for the arriving container.
There are so many online that I don't know where to start and would appreciate anyone with experience, pointing me in the right direction. Also, your opinions on his pricing would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I’m always upfront about how I’m only interested in IRL. I’m upfront about it because I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. But that doesn’t stop a lot of Dommes from trying to get something out of me. But I’ve accepted that this is part of the game. There is one absurdity I’ve always realized. And it’s that these women who want my money usually don’t give a damn what I look like. I get it—it doesn’t matter to them what I look like to them. But just on a human level, it makes me wonder if they aren’t even the least bit curious.

Last year I turned 20 and a couple weeks later my mother told me that my father had a cancer scare so went got it checked. Doctor said it was 99% not cancer then two weeks later while I was at work I get a phone call it was cancer. Not long after i moved out to go to UNI. The whole time I was at uni I couldn't focus so I left. And then it got worse. Wehn I left and came home I found out my local family like my grandmother and uncles hadn't even bothered to help my mom or dad with my sister(10) or appointments even after being asked and saying they would. This still makes my blood boil. Then after 6 months battling cancer my father died. The whole time every time we met with family it always felt like me, my sister and my mother's feelings didnt matter. Even my father said " when I'm gone they will make it all about themselves and ye will be pushed away" and it happened. Then couple days later we have the funeral my father asked me to read his eulogy at it and I did. After all was said and done. I was reminiscing with my mother and my older half brothers about him when my grandmother comes up and joins in. I'll never forget that conversation for as long as I live I said " at least I got a good 20 years out of him" and she said " well I had him for 40 years" I had never felt such anger in my life.my brother got me to leave the room he could see I was getting really angry the more she spoke. Then the abuse began daily phone calls of how we were the worst people and the reason everything bad ever happened. To say I had a bad year is an understatement. I cut all contact with my dad's family. The anger ate me alive. I went downhill rapidly due to stress and anger. This was happening for the better part of a year. Last month after going back to college I broke down in the kitchen one morning and started counselling and went to my doctor and was diagnosed with depression. And now every once and a while I'll get bouts of anger and I'd love nothing more than to let my dad's family have a piece of my mind for the abuse they gave my mother and sister. But I don't. If anyone has any advice for anything I could do to just stop feeling angry at the thought of them it would be helpful. But this is more of a therapeutic post than anything else. If you read it thanks. Needless to say Theres a lot more this is just a brief overview of the past year.
