What You Get:

Course #1

Black Friday Bootcamp

This is a short course I created for one of my e-commerce coaching groups. It outlines the high level strategy you need to use to MAXIMIZE sales for BFCM.
I go over everything from how to map out your promo calendar… what emails to send when… exactly when you should START and FINISH your promo(s)… and, most importantly…
… how to STAND OUT and grab attention in an overcrowded inbox, so you can break every sales record.
Once you watch this mini-course, you’re going to be pumping out high-converting BFCM campaigns in no time!
Course #2

Make It Rain Monthly

BFCM/Q4 Planning Call

This is a special “members-only” coaching call I recorded with a handful of my top students to help them prepare their clients’ brands for BFCM success.
I even critique (and edit) a few of my students’ BFCM emails during this call.
You can look over my shoulder and see how I think about constructing these email campaigns and sequences – super valuable!
Course #3

Make It Rain Monthly Issue #8

The Black Friday / Cyber MondayMEGA Issue Part 1

  • My “A-Z” roadmap for creating highly profitable Cyber Week email marketing campaigns.
  • The FIRST email you should send in the month of November, to increase the sales you make from every email you send for the next six weeks (I actually wrote this email for you. You can swipe it verbatim. Just swap in some small details about your business, hit send, and watch the sales start rolling in.)
  • How to map out a three-month promotional calendar in less than 60 minutes. (Plus, how to come up with the topics to send, on which days, to the right subscribers.)
  • What to do (instead of just giving a discount or giving a bonus) that’ll incite a buying frenzy, generate word of mouth buzz, create raving fans, AND could possibly lead to record-breaking sales.
  • A breakdown of a collection of BFCM emails, including some from a sequence that brought in six-figures in one week flat.
Course #4

Make It Rain Monthly Issue #9

The Black Friday / Cyber MondayMEGA Issue Part 2

  • The “Magic Box” Method I used to free up 25 hours of creative time on my calendar, so I could get more work done in less time, with less stress… and more time to myself.
  • The biggest mistake I made as I began growing my team… and how I fixed it so everyone could perform at a higher, more autonomous level.
  • How to finally get clear on what you want in life… and how to go get it.
  • Why trying to be a ‘cool boss’ might hurt your team more than help it.
  • One psychological insight that’ll make selling to ‘people with money’ 10x easier. This works especially well if you’re selling a high-end product/high-ticket service.
  • One software that can cut your weekly call volume down by 70% (or more).
  • The “AC” email promotion that’ll send your Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales through the roof.
  • How to scoop up TONS of sales from people who didn’t buy from your BF/CM campaign.
  • Why giving a discount might actually HURT your sales and turn off a large percentage of your customers.
  • When to use a discount vs other types of offers in your emails (they both work and can both be used strategically… but you’ve gotta do this right.)
  • How to instantly induce an “I’ve gotta spend money with this brand” feeling in your customers… even if they weren’t planning on buying anything five minutes before seeing your email.
  • A breakdown of a six-figure BF/CM email campaign (meaning: we actually ran this for one of my e-commerce clients and generated six-figures in sales with it).
  • A two-word subject line you can use on Black Friday to stick out like a sore thumb and get your subscribers’ attention… even when everyone else is screaming about their sales.
  • The one type of campaign you should run if you feel like offering discounts ‘cheapens’ your brand.
  • How to adapt this campaign for OTHER holidays throughout the year (like Mother’s Day & Father’s Day). I even riffed off a quick email hook you can keep in your back pocket until spring.
Course #5

Make It Rain Monthly Issue #20

The Black Friday / Cyber Monday2021 Gameplan

  • The SMS Sign Up Sequence that helped us grow an SMS list by 1,000+ subscribers while generating $10,000+ in sales.
  • How to make a TON of sales on Thanksgiving… without pissing off everyone on your list. (In fact, people will be giddy with anticipation if you do this promo right.)
  • A psychological trigger you can use in your copy that makes your customers go crazy for your products.
  • Why BFCM21 is going to look very different than years past… and the changes you should make to your strategy to stand out in the inbox (and make a ton of sales).
  • How the smartest marketers and brand owners are adapting to iOS14 and iOS15 (and the big shift you need to make to thrive).
  • Will SMS marketing replace or kill email? My surprising answer on page 3.
  • How to dramatically increase your EHR (effective hourly rate)… so you can increase profits while working less.
  • Insights from an SMS campaign I ran back in 2017 that worked incredibly well… and got people asking us to send them MORE texts (it’s a cool approach you can adapt for your own brand).
  • How to write headlines and subject lines that trigger INSTANT curiosity… that suck your prospects in and DEMAND attention. (Try this with your landing pages and advertorial pages and watch your click-thrus SKYROCKET)
  • The #1 copy mistake I see most copywriters and brand owners make with ALL of their emails, landing pages, ads, video scripts, and more.
  • Fix this one thing and you’ll be amazed at how much better your copy reads and converts.
  • How to get your customers to ‘think past the sale’ and get emotionally attached to your product… so they feel compelled to buy. (Sneaky… but powerful. And yes, totally ethical.)
  • 6 SMS messages that ‘primed the pump’ for our sales pitches… while making our customers feel a rush of positive thoughts and emotions.
  • The secret to writing tighter, pithier copy.
  • 3 copy principles for high converting SMS messages.
  • Two simple examples of an SMS list building campaign that you can whip up in a few minutes to start growing your list.
  • The Ultimate “Trojan Horse” campaign to get your customers primed and ready to buy from you for BFCM.
  • The Triple Threat BFCM campaign calendar you should try this Q4. (Could it triple your sales? Only one way to find out…)
  • What almost EVERYONE gets wrong about Gary Vee’s jab-jab-jab-right hook approach to marketing… and why it might be the smartest tactic to use come this Q4 (and beyond).
  • 5 more SMS list building examples that can get you a TON of new subscribers while making lots of “easy sales” in the process.
  • How to use email to ‘scoop up’ buckets of new buyers… even the people who DON’T buy from you.
  • Are you scared of emailing too often? Check out the tip on page 22 that’ll reduce your complaints and increase your sales.
  • The four core campaigns EVERY brand should be running on a monthly basis… even if you’re not in e-com. (I use this with my own list and it works incredibly well.)
Course #6

Holiday Sale Super Sequence

Want to scoop up even MORE sales during the holidays (without the hassle of figuring out your promo calendar)?
This Holiday Sale Super Sequence is based on campaigns I still run for my agency clients that generate anywhere between $30-$50K — without fail.
Comes with SIX email templates, a quick-start implementation video and super secret bonus.
So if you want to generate massive sales easily every time there’s a holiday… then this training is going to help you make that happen.
This sequence is PERFECT for BFCM… but you can even modify it to run other holiday sales throughout the year.

2023.06.09 16:46 Niruh_ Black Listed Because I asked for a refund on a Package that didnt ship.

I have been reaching out to Secret Labs every day regarding a package that was delayed a week then "Delivered". But the package was not actually delivered. Before that I had tickets in with secretlabs and the shipping company. Secret Labs has been telling me that they are escalating the ticket and someone will contact me from the relevant team in 24-48hours.
Its been 120 Hours since last contact on original ticket.
But all this started because I ordered the MAGNUS PRO XL desk with a few accessories. They shipped everything separate. Desk Top 1/3 package Desk Legs 2/3package and Accessories 3/3 package. I never received the legs.
The worst part about this was last night they sent me an email: " Hi Niruh_, let's take your new MAGNUS Pro to greater heights."
My reply was: " I HAVENT RECEIVED THE LEGS YET "
This prompted a ticket to be open.. Someone reached out to me within 6 hours. But when I am discussing refund and returns there is never a response.
They also will not sell the legs separate so this leaves the Desk Top and Accessories I did receive useless. I've asked for return labels for these with no response. Dispute has been opened with my bank but they can only dispute the leg price which is $577 dollars which is just a little over a third of the price I spent on this desk.
I had u/secretlab_red respond to my last post but when messaged they never responded. This company does have amazing product but god forbid anything go wrong in the shipping process because this is a nightmare. I may be out $1000 and secretlabs isnt willing to correct there mistake but instead ignore my emails.

2023.06.09 16:45 EmptySecretary9951 M38 F28 - Struggling to walk away, (again) from Bf (38M). Is this worth saving, again?

Is this relationship worth trying to save? Will he ever change and admit his wrongs?
Just got into a heated fight last night with my bf(38M) since we missed a concert that I(28F) had bought us tickets for awhile back for his birthday. We were running behind schedule, I forgot my ID so we drove back to the apartment, I ran inside, picked it up and had enough time to make it back to the venue but wasted time arguing in the car shouting that he no longer wanted to go with me for forgetting my ID. So we ended up staying home. I Bought tickets for the same group last year but we missed that due to his drinking binge so I was really pumped to redo this moment only for it to lead to this huge blow up. He threatened to start drinking when we got back inside since he is missing the show and I ruined his night. My heart and stomach dropped instantly. This isn’t the first time he has made this threat (3 weeks ago, we had an argument about trust and he went out to buy a bottle of tequila and asked me to pour him a drink - I hid the bottle the next morning) and I get the feeling it won’t be long before he acts on it.
I don’t want to be the reason why he relapses and tonight I am choosing to walk away while I still can. I don’t want to leave him but I know that I don’t want to live in fear of him relapsing and draining myself trying to convince him to get sober again or the guilt of feeling the reason he drinks is due to issues in our relationship. I will pray for him and hope he continues to choose to stay sober, but I can’t be there to watch and celebrate him reach those monthly milestones knowing that the saying the wrong words or being over sensitive on the wrong day might end all his progress.
Context (sharing for insight and to get off my chest): My Q and I broke up in early February (together for 1 year) due to broken promises, verbal aggression, constant lying related to his excessive daily drinking. He chose to get sober by the end of February in hopes of becoming a better person and partner. We reconnected in mid April and have been together since. I’ve seen a huge improvement in his motivation and commitment to staying sober. He attends meetings twice a day on a daily basis and has become more active. This is major progress from the days I used to find shooters and bottles of tequila hidden in the bathroom/kitchen/cawork backpack, and wake up early on weekends only to find him already passed for the day from his morning IPAs. Since getting back together he shared that this has been the longest time he’s been sober in over 12 years. I still have fear that I’ll smell that familiar scent of liquor or that I he’s learned a new way of masking it. There’s times I question whether he’s napping due to a long work day or drinking, or the impatient text spamming occasionally about plans we had but later switching it up or cancelling if I don’t reply fast enough, but I know that’s these doubts stem from his past behavior and I don’t question him about it. I didn’t think I’d find myself back with him again but the first month back together he was incredible and reminded me why I had fallen for him the first time.
Since we’ve started working on rebuilding our relationship by unpacking our issues, he has stopped attending meetings on a daily basis, and he has started hanging out with friends at bars but hasn’t drank according to him. I can’t help but feel that this relationship is a huge stressor and can lead to him relapsing. It feels like an excuse for him to make these threats of breaking his sobriety and when I point this out he deflects and says I’m gaslighting him. I’m tired of fighting and trying to keep it together while struggling to be the loving, understanding and always positive partner. I just feel like a failure for walking away and not trying harder to make it work with him and support him staying sober.

2023.06.09 16:44 may3247 Heart palpitations

I’ve always suffered palpitations (pvcs + pacs) but I noticed they become so severe 1-2 weeks before my period that I find it hard to function and spend everyday in bed because of this the doc suggested trying to stop my periods with the mini pill (desogestral) which I would rather have a period but if it stops these palpitations and gives me my life back I don’t mind, I can’t take the combined pill because I suffer migraines and have family history of blood clots but I’ve been taking the pill 3 days my 4th tablet being taken in an hour and my palpitations seem worse? Should I wait for my body to get used to the hormones for a couple of weeks? Has anyone else experienced heart palpitations or had them worsen when starting birth control

2023.06.09 16:40 tfti2255 I (M26) met a girl (23F) at church, just being really friendly or into me?

I will preface this by normally being 99% sure this girl would be into me but whenever something like school, work or church is involved I get a bit skittish because I would have to see them every week after lol. Because she's a regular member of our church, I'm really unsure of whether she's just being really welcoming so I feel comfortable because I mentioned i'm newer to the city and that I didn't have too many good friends. Another factor is that we are both minorities (Korean) and one of my friends said its possible that's another reason why she's also being really friendly as there aren't too many who live around us. I've also not dated anyone since the end of college because I've been moving around a lot, which really contributes to my nervousness and uncertainty about the situation.
I've been going to this smaller church for a few weeks and apparently she's a regular member for years but had been out since this past Sunday. There was a barbeque happening afterwards until around 7 and while everyone was eating and playing volleyball and such, we sat out and just talked for a few hours with her and another one of her friends. Seemed like the vibes were good so I asked her for her socials. She mentioned she went to a local gym so I dmed her the next day asking her for details and it was just a short conversation, but then she ended up double texting me around nighttime about a topic we talked about during the bbq. I gave her my number and we've been talking every day since, anywhere from 2-4 hours a day. The conversations at night would always be me saying for her to let me know about something, such as if she were gonna be free the next day and she has been messaging me first around midday and just leading it into a conversation, where we would text intermittently while at work then nonstop around dinner til we both sleep. We met in person yesterday to gym together, then ended up walking to a couple cafes for a few hours just talking until I had to leave for another scheduled dinner. We were supposed to have a dinner today because I'm flying out of state until next week but she ended up having to reschedule for next week which was a huge bummer for me.
While that all sounds great, there's a few things making me apprehensive. For one, I just started attending the church just a few weeks ago. I didn't intend on going just to meet women, but the situation just sort of turned out and I really don't wanna look like the dude who just strolled in to "pick up chicks" and leave. I've been told a lot have the looks of a fuckboy which really doesn't help which is why I'm being cautious and it's a good community that I don't wanna start off on the wrong foot. Because of that, I would really want to be 100% sure before I start actively pursuing this, as I tend to get consumed kinda quickly by crushes and I wouldn't want myself to go through that for someone I misinterpreted feelings from. I also threw out some flirting fishing lines, like when mentioning upcoming movies or shows how I would love to watch them but didn't have anyone to watch with or when talking about drinking or smoking how it would be nicer to smoke with someone else but never really get the response I'm used to lol. She also brought up a her exes a couple times in passing which I felt normally wasn't an amazing sign (nothing crazy, just how we bumped into him at church and a couple funny stories).
However, I can't ignore how it feels like we're literally texting nonstop past 7 or 8 and she instantly replies and our conversations are deep and meaningful. We're both fit and fairly attractive mid 20s Koreans. Our meeting on Wednesday in person was a 1-on-1 at the gym where we saw a couple of our church friends but she insisted that we just work out with each other and didn't mind being seen working out together like that, and the cafes afterwards really felt like a mini-date though neither of us said it was and I was too nervous to go for a hand hold or anything like that because at that point I've known her for literally 3 days. She asks me about things normally I would associate with probing a relationship, like our astrology compatibility/mbti types etc, and has asked about my height (even though we've hung out in person twice by then lol).
What do you think of the situation, and also how would you proceed? Remember that we've known each other since literally just this sunday, and I don't wanna make it look like a hit and run at church but at the same time if there is something there then I don't want to just let it fizzle out because at this point in my life I'm hoping to settle down with someone.

2023.06.09 16:35 echosyankee Bad experience with EFXU forex trading company. Beware!

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my recent experience with you all and talk about some things that didn't sit right with me. So, I went through a series of interviews to join the company, but things were a bit different for me since I had a connection with an existing member. During the interview, they kind of rushed me into signing the contract and making the payment without giving me enough time to really understand what I was getting into.
After a while, I realized that some of the things they told me during the interview process didn't match up with the actual offerings and availability within the company. I tried reaching out to their support and even one of the co-founders, but guess what? No response. It was only after multiple attempts that I finally got in touch with another founder who acknowledged the problem and after multiple attempts asking for a refund, they refused, claiming that their digital product is non-refundable.
To be honest, it was a struggle to make the most out of the experience. The course material they provided was a letdown - long, boring videos with no proper visuals, constant interruptions, bad audio quality, and tons of irrelevant images. And don't get me started on the meeting scheduling. It was a nightmare trying to fit them into my already busy work schedule, even though I thought I had accepted that as part of the deal.
TLDR:
- they pushed me to make quick decisions without giving me enough time to review the contract.
- they didn't tell me everything I needed to know during the initial meeting.
- I ended up paying a hefty 7400 euros for something that doesn't even come close to delivering the value they promised.
- the course material was a snooze-fest with no engaging content.
And the meeting scheduling was a mess, making it hard for working folks like me to participate.
So, if you're thinking about joining this company, be careful and make sure you thoroughly review the contract. The information they give you during the interviews might not match what's in there. And if you're not satisfied, good luck getting any help or alternatives. I'm honestly disappointed with my experience, especially since they try to portray themselves as a "family." But guess what? That family vibe has an expiration date due to contract limitations. It feels more like a factory than a community, if you ask me.
Oh, and one more thing. I tried posting about my experience in the community to let others know, but my post has been stuck in review for hours without any progress. It seems they only allow posts that highlight the good stuff while filtering out anything that might tarnish their image. This just further supports what I've been saying.
I wanted to share all this with you so you have a clear picture about this company.
Before anyone says that I shouldn't have done this in the first place. I already know that and it's not the point. This post is simply for others who could be in my place.
Have a good one!

2023.06.09 16:30 Spectral42 Something strange is happening in LittleBrooke. Whatever you do, stay away.

If you’re reading this I am begging you to believe me. Especially if you have children. My name is Leon and I have been investigating strange disappearances for four years. I am not an official investigator or a journalist. Before I started this whole thing I did not believe in ghosts or the paranormal. For me to believe in something I had to see it with my own two eyes! Everything had to be factual and everything had an explanation.
At least this is what I used to believe until my wife was murdered four years ago. They found her at work completely skinless. She was drained of blood and was missing all of her nails. They told me the precision required to accomplish this was not heard of yet. I waited months for answers and they never came, so I decided to go get them myself. I had no idea where to start or who to speak to so I went back to the store to try and dig up as much information as I could find.
Her manager eventually told me that she had gotten into a fight with a customer that day and that he assumed she went home on time. When her body was found in the employee break room he was shocked. He had no idea she was still in the building. He said he told me exactly what he told the police. I asked him if there was any footage of the man she was arguing with but he told me the security cameras were not working that day. I vividly remember wanting to punch this guy in his damn face. He was no help and I was determined to solve my wife's murder.
I ended up searching for the guy for months. I asked every one of her coworkers if they saw the argument and a couple of times I even had a run-in with the cops. They insisted that I should let them do their jobs and that they had everything handled. There was no chance I was going to listen to them. I had to take time off from my investigation to attend her funeral and make sure I got all of the preparations right. In hindsight, I was not growing properly and I really should've taken some time to reassess.
So fast forward another month and I finally get a lead. Something I assumed the cops didn't have, this meant I could finally get some answers before being stonewalled again. I ended up finding this guy, Will Brookes at a fucken motel off of the highway about three miles from where my wife worked. I waited for two days before I saw him leave his room to get ice. Once I knew what room to find him in I knocked until he opened the door. He was rightfully pissed but not as pissed as I was. It took every ounce of willpower in my body to not kill him on the spot.
“Why did you kill my wife?!” I snapped as I forced myself into the room and slammed the door behind me. He looked shocked.
“I did not kill her!” He screamed and tried to move around me. So I grabbed him by his shirt and slammed him into the wall next to the tv. This guy was not very heavy and not very strong. At that moment I was wondering how he could kill anyone.
“You were the last person to be seen with her alive!” I barked. I wanted to push his body through the wall. I wanted to crush him.
“I was bringing her the papers she requested for a job offer she accepted in a place called LittleBrooke!” The man said. He was shaking so I put him down and pushed him to the side. “Show me the papers,” I demanded. My wife had told me twice that she had gotten a new job offer. I was extremely excited! I work from home and would be happy to live wherever she wanted. All she had to do was say the word and we could’ve left as soon as possible. But she never made it home to tell me the news.
I watched as the shaking man handed me a stack of papers and even a suitcase. “Here, take it and please leave me alone!” He shouted. “Okay.” I left the motel room and went right to my car. I put everything on the passenger seat and went home. Once I got there I sobbed in the driveway for over an hour before finally getting out and heading inside. I never got to see her body and I never got to say goodbye. Being in this house felt like I was walking into a damn shallow grave of sorts.
I went right to the master bedroom and packed up as many clothes as I could. I even took some of her favorite items, I don’t know why. I took a couple of pillows and two blankets, and after that, I went around to search the rest of the house. Once I had finished in the master bedroom I went and grabbed all my items from the bathroom. After that, I went into the nursery. We were planning on trying to have a baby once she got her new job. I looked around the nursery and took some stuffed animals and blankets, nothing too crazy. I also made sure to grab our family photo album. Finally, I made sure to grab all of the savings from the jar we had plus anything I kept in the safe. I also made sure to grab our wedding video and once I had everything I thought I could need I left the house. On my way out I made sure to tell the building goodbye.
Once I got back into my car I decided to drive a bit. No way in hell was I going to the same motel as that guy so I drove until I hit a hotel far enough away from my house. I did not end up checking in though. Once I got close enough I backed up and just kept driving. I eventually hit a truck stop after a couple of hours and decided to rest my eyes for a while. I was exhausted and there were way too many questions rushing through my head. I knew if I kept driving in that state I would probably crash or something.
After sleeping for four hours I decided it was time to look through the papers and figure out what I was going to do next. I took the first paper from the stack and started to read it. For the sake of time here I will only tell you guys what I found that was interesting.
Paper One: You have been accepted to work as a store manager! Please review your employee packet for more information.
So as I am going over this first paper a couple of things stick out to me. Whoever wrote this was trying not to be specific. The whole paper was one big announcement for a new store opening up in a place called LittleBrooke. There was no state mentioned anywhere on this paper, I would later find out that this place was supposed to be in Washington D.C.
I decided to dig around and eventually found the employee packet. She accepted a job at a mega-store called BrightMarketZ. I thought it was a pretty weird name but what stood out to me was what they were offering to pay her. $22.00 an hour! I couldn't believe it. No wonder she said yes and didn’t bother to ask any questions.
Paper Twenty: To find LittleBrooke please enter [REDACTED] into your GPS device. You will be staying inside apartment 307. All rent for your first month in LittleBrooke is covered by your employer. Please note that all apartments are two-bedroom only. If you have a larger household please speak to Sydney May at Town Hall for bigger accommodations.
After reading this I decided to just go to LittleBrooke and get answers. I was assuming that I would find out what the hell happened if I just went. I wanted to know what my wife died for and I wanted to know why this was some big secret in the first place. I went back to bed and as soon as the sun came up I put the information into my GPS and headed for LittleBrooke.

Year One in LittleBrooke

It took me three weeks to reach LittleBrooke and I could tell that something was wrong the moment I found the town. If I wasn't so damn desperate for answers I would've turned around as soon as I saw the library. The building itself wasn't big but the two huge lions on either side of the staircase gave me the creeps.
After that I passed a mechanic, the whole place looked run down as hell. There wasn't a single car to be seen but the sign said open. The man standing outside of the building waved to me so I gave him a slow wave back. He looked weird. At the time I couldn’t place my finger on why but now I know it’s because he was not human.
The theater was kind of cool to look at in a vintage kind of way. They were not showing anything when I drove by and I made the decision early on to stay out of the theater altogether. After the theater, I saw a small building that said LittleBrooke Press. If anything else I figured I could write for the paper.
As I approached the apartment building a woman was standing outside. Her face was weird as hell. It looked like she had far too much plastic surgery like her face was threatening to pop at any moment. “Hi, can I help you?” she asked me. Her voice was shrill, it was gross to even hear her speak. It sounded like she was putting on a fake voice just to speak to me. “Hi, my wife accepted a job offer. Unfortunately, she has passed away. I would still like to claim the apartment left to us. I can work at any place that currently has an opening.” I offered.
“LittleBrooke Press has space for two more writers!” She smiled and handed me the keys to the apartment. She never asked my name and she knew exactly where I wanted to go. I thought it was weird but I didn’t argue. Instead, I took the keys and thanked her. I spent that whole day getting settled into the new apartment. A couple of things, the front door had four different locks on it. I thought that was pretty weird. I also did not see or hear any other people until my third night in the apartment. I called the LittleBrooke Press about a potential job and they told me to email my submissions. There was no need for me to come in person and honestly, I liked this deal a lot.
For the first few months, I spent my time writing about whatever came to my mind. After that, I would send it in and get my money back. The editor never told me what to do and they never requested anything. It was sweet. As December rolled around I could feel myself slipping into a seasonal depression. At that point, I had made no progress in any of my investigations. I did not know the town well enough and frankly, I felt like I was wasting my time. That night I decided to check out the local bar. It was pretty hidden, you had to drive further into LittleBrooke to find it. Once I got there I was shocked! The place was packed. I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink.
The bartender was hot as hell, too hot. She was so even looking so perfectly symmetrical that it made me extremely uncomfortable. There wasn’t a single hair out of place. “So are you new in town?” She asked me. “Yeah, I just got here a couple of months ago. My now-deceased wife accepted a job offer here.” I said bluntly and dryly. I wanted to finish my drink and go. It was like the bones in my body were screaming at me to leave. The woman looked shocked. “Tell me, does that happen often? Do people accept a job offer in LittleBrooke and turn up dead a couple of days later?” I hissed. It was a genuine question but she did not take it too kindly. She took my drink from my hands and told me to leave.
As I made my way back to my car I could hear someone coming up from behind me. I turned around as fast as possible and had to take three steps back. It was the bartender, but she did not look the same. Half of her face was weighed down like she had no bones at all. Her eyes were bulging out of her head. She gurgled at me. “You need to leave!” She finally snapped and swung her arm in my direction. I moved back before she could hit me. As her hand hit my car window it shattered like it was made of ice. I watched as her arm popped and clicked. I could see it slowly getting longer. Before I knew it her arm was dragging on the pavement! She lunged at me so I punched her in her stomach. She gurgled again and sunk her teeth into my jacket. I screamed for help as we hit the pavement. She was trying fucken eat me! I grabbed her by her hair and threw her backward as hard as I could. As I scrambled to my feet and looked at her I screamed again. Her skin was pulled back. Now hugging the bones on her face. Her eyes were completely exposed! I turned and dove into my car as fast as I could. I slammed the door behind me and sped out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell.
The next morning I received a letter under my door. “Sorry, you had problems last night! Please accept our sincerest apologies.” -Mayor Brookes. There was $300 included with the letter. Now, I thought about leaving but decided I had to stay. Something was going on here and I had to find out what. I removed my jacket to see if the woman had injured me, she didn't but the experience was still terrifying. For the first time in a very long time, I was scared. But I also felt closer to the truth than I have ever been before.

Year Two in LittleBrooke

I spent all of January writing about the women who attacked me. I even contacted the police. I quickly learned that the police were going to be completely useless. My editor never sent the story back so I had assumed it was published.
At the end of the month, I left to shop for some supplies. Let me tell you, the grocery store in LittleBrooke is something else. They don’t have any brands you’ve ever heard of and at first, that drove me nuts. However, I quickly came to fall in love with the food here. It was comforting to have something to enjoy. Like always, I made sure to shop for two to three months at a time. Shopping was easy, I used the self-checkout to make sure I didn’t have to speak to anyone.
Once I got home I put everything away and decided to look around the apartment building. My whole floor started with 301 and went all the way to 310. The first floor was 501 to 509. There was a technical second floor but none of the doors were labeled. It looked like someone was renovating the place.
I got to see some of my neighbors too. An older woman, two men, and I were living next door to a lady the whole time. I had never seen or heard from these people before. It seemed like everyone wanted to keep to themselves too. I wanted to try and talk to someone but every time I approached them they turned and walked away. For what it's worth they looked completely normal.
So I left the apartment building and ventured around the property. There were no other apartments anywhere close to the one I was staying at, or so I thought until I found one about thirty minutes away. It was so out of the way you wouldn't find it unless you were looking. Against my better judgment, I opened the doors to the building and walked right inside. The place smelled like rust and soot.
I went to explore the first floor and was shocked to find blood trails on the floor and the ceiling. I followed the trail and made sure to look at the numbers on each door. This floor was numbered 1-10. Most of the doors were locked and I wasn’t going to try and knock anything down. I opened the door to apartment 10 and walked right inside. There was just enough light from the sun to illuminate the place. It looked like the whole place had been ransacked. I checked the tables and cabinets before heading into the bedroom. I searched the dresser and under the pillows before finally checking under the bed. When I looked under I spotted a black box. I grabbed it and that is when I got the feeling again. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I felt something sharp dig into my shoulders.
I screamed as loudly as I could, my face slammed off of the carpet and I clenched the box with one hand. Before I could figure out what the hell was happening I was tossed backward. I went into the bedroom door and rolled a couple of times until I reached the torn-up couch. I slowly lifted my head and to my horror what I was looking at was way too far from human to be real.
It looked like a dog ape thing. It was mostly skinless aside from some skin on its torso and face. The creature had thick, long claws and was standing on its hind legs. It barked at me. Its fangs were huge! I quickly scrambled to my feet and rushed out of the door as fast as possible. I could feel the blood running down my back. Never once did I consider letting this box go.
“Help!” I screamed as I burst through the apartment complex doors and started to run back to the main road. My heart was pounding, I could feel my chest getting tighter with each step. I could hear the beast behind me, it was screeching. I thought I was going to die for sure, there was no way I could continue to outrun this beast. That’s when I heard a car and before I knew it I could see it! A woman was waving me over, she was just up ahead! I had to push a little harder. I had to be just a little stronger.
When I felt the embrace of the car door I ripped it open and dove inside. She sped away and I looked out of the window. The beast did not follow us any further. “Are you insane!” She snapped at me. That’s the last thing I remember before passing out.
When I woke up I was laying on my stomach on an extremely comfortable couch. I could smell someone making pasta with meat sauce. My stomach was going insane. Everything hurt though, especially my back and my left side. I figured I had hurt my side when I was tossed across the room.
At this point, I did not dive into the box yet. I could barely move. “Hi.” I heard a woman say from the kitchen. “Thank you,” I replied before trying to sit up. I was so concerned that this woman would be another monster. When I saw her though I knew she was normal. She didn't look so damn perfect and that was a breath of fresh air.
“What's your name?” She asked me as I watched her prepare two bowls of food.
“Leon,” I said before closing my eyes. “You heard me screaming?” I asked her seriously.
“I did. I’m pretty sure everyone in our building did. You got hurt pretty badly, I did my best to patch you up.” She paused and laughed. “My name is Ashley.”
So I ended up crashing at her place. During this time I tried to focus on recovering. Sleeping became hell, I was having constant nightmares. I also spent a lot of time working on articles. I ended up giving Ash the keys to my apartment so she could get my laptop. It was a big move to trust anyone here but I am glad I did.

Year Three and Four in LittleBrooke

During my recovery, I spent most of my time writing. I wanted to write about everything I have seen and experienced. I had a lot of questions and way too much time with my thoughts. Ash and I got to know each other too.
I told her about how my wife had died mysteriously. I eventually opened up about her being skinned and drained of her blood. Ash told me she had come to LittleBrooke with her older sister. Her sister went to work one day and never came back. She was working at the theater. Ash had told me that she was stuck here, she didn’t feel right leaving with her sister still missing. Every time she would try the cops would meet her at the town line.
It was during this time that we both shared that we had never seen a police station. We talked about the monsters too. Her first run-in with one was at the grocery store. I told her about what happened to me at the bar. She told me that she heard rumors of the beast living beyond the apartments. The first time she saw it was when it was attacking me.
As I started to recover more we discussed a couple of things. First, the neighbors here suck. She could hear me screaming and came to help but no one else did. Second, neither of us has seen any families since we moved here. It was at this point I decided I wanted to leave and I offered to take her with me. We could both get out come hell or high water. She agreed but there was something I had to do first.
I showed her the box I had taken from the apartment.
“You almost died for a box?” Ash asked me. “Yes,” I said seriously.
I opened it and blinked. I found a picture of a girl with black hair and bright green eyes. It read, Stephanie. I found a missing persons report too. This girl had been missing a year before I got here. I decided that my last article would be about her. I had written about a couple of missing people before this. For example, the old lady in our building vanished and her apartment was rented out two days later.
I also found a badge inside the box. It read F.O.P.P. and there was a name! Jack Bridges. We tried to look up the organization's name but we came up empty-handed. I ended up writing the story about Stephanie and the next day Ash and I got packing. We decided to take my car since the cops know what hers looks like. I packed up the essentials all over again and we piled into the car. “We should check the other direction. Before we leave.” I suggested. Ash knew about the bar already but neither of us knew what was beyond that point: This suggested changed the course of our lives forever.
So we started driving in the other direction. We passed the bar where the woman had tried to eat me, we passed a convenience store I didn’t know this town had and we just kept driving. Eventually, I could hear Ash speaking to me, “Holy shit! The police station.” she pointed out. I couldn’t believe it either. I did not stop driving though but I wish I did.
Eventually, we saw a sign that read, LittleBrooke High. Go Bears!
I started to slow down a bit until the school was in view. The place looked run down as hell. There were holes in the walls and leaves growing up the side of the building. The parking lot was massive and full of buses. I pulled the car into the parking lot and told Ash to get into the driver's seat.
“You’re not serious?” She asked me. I could tell she wanted to go but I said, “This is it! This is the last place of note in this fucken town. Just take the wheel and I will be right back.” I said as I jumped out of the car and went to look around.
As I approached one of the buses I grabbed the doors, they were already open a crack. I pulled them open and was hit with a horrible stench. I had to step back and puke and no I am not going to describe what I saw in that fucken bus. At that point, I decided I had seen enough and it was time to fucken go.
“Help!” I heard someone cry from a couple of buses over. “Please!” I heard again. I wanted to slap myself because I knew better. I had already decided it was time to leave but I went to investigate anyway. I went to the bus and pulled the doors open. It smelled like stale piss and blood. “Back here!” A girl screamed out to me. I made my way to the back of the bus, stepping on school jackets and over backpacks. That is where I found them. Two teenagers are tied to the leg of a bus seat. They looked horrible, caking in blood and sweat. They were both injured. “Stephanie?!” I exclaimed as I bent over to free them. I recognized her face the moment I saw it.
“Can you move? I asked the blonde girl.” As I started to let her go. “Everything hurts.” She told me. I opened the emergency exit and called for Ash to pull the car over. It took her a second to hear me but she came as fast as possible. “I am going to get you guys in the car and we are going to get out of here, okay?” I told them. I wanted to tell them everything was going to be okay, but I couldn't. It felt like that would be a huge lie.
Ash stepped out of the car and helped get the girls into the backseat. As I stopped to look around I could feel the bus shift in weight. I turned around and inhaled sharply. Standing before me was a creature wearing a jacket that said COACH on it. He looked sickly, and pale, and his veins were protruding from his face and hands. As he ran at me I jumped out of the emergency exit door just in time to feel something slam off of the back of my head. I looked down to see a barbed football. I could feel blood trickling down my neck, I stumbled forward and felt a hand grab my arm. Ash was shoving me into the car. She slid over me, closed the passenger door, and backed the car up. I thought she was moving like lightning.
At this point, everyone was screaming. My heart was threatening to jump out of my fucken chest. I was so sure we were all going to die here, just like everyone else I had seen on the buses. But no, Ash sped out of the parking lot. The coach chased us to the school limits but for some reason, he did not follow us anymore.
I know we should've stopped to see if the kids could find their parents but we didn't. Instead, Ash just kept driving. Eventually, we could hear the cops behind us but that did not stop her. It took us six hours to finally see the You Are New Leaving LittleBrooke sign! I couldn’t believe it. This place was not that big at all.
So listen, if you’re invited to take a job in LittleBrooke. Don’t take it. It’s not worth your life.

2023.06.09 16:30 QueerQwerty Is anyone else terrified today by the statement made by Year Zero (the album and the ARG together)?

Maybe I'm biased because I'm transgender and an American, and recent events are...troubling me, to say the least. But I felt this way well before I came out, and well before the shift in political motivations happened.
I thought this album was brilliant. Too brilliant. Living through the album's release changed me - the hidden flash drives in venue bathrooms at concerts, the websites and clues, the hand hidden in the leaked tracks viewable only through an oscilloscope, the pop-up mini-concert you could only get to by getting a cell phone and being "abducted" to get taken to the hidden venue, and how the band was subdued by agents at the end and everyone had to flee. And, specifically, the message all of it painted, the warning it screamed.
I feel like this was a major evolutionary step in terms of what entertainment media could be, and it makes me sad that I haven't seen something of a similar scope since then. It makes me sad this didn't continue, I remember reading about how they were considering doing a TV show or something similar to continue it (The Handmaid's Tale is in the same vein imo, but not quite on the mark).
It also opened my eyes to a lot of things, and now...I feel like I'm seeing a slide into what was being warned about, and I'm honestly terrified. Not that we didn't already have pieces of it festering through our history already, but as of late...
...I can't shake it, this dread. I don't know how to have hope given our trajectory, what I'm seeing, what is happening.
Does anyone else feel the same way, was/is anyone else shaken by it like this?

2023.06.09 16:22 Tiny_Antelope_8963 6 days into ST and worried it's not clicking as it should! Any advice?

We have a 8.5 month old who is EBF, and eating solids very well. No dummy/paci. Untill recently she has been in our room and coming into bed with us in the early hours as she wouldn't settle back into her cot.
We have started sleep training with checks ins after 2,3,4 mins and then at 5 min intervals. We don't pick up, only shh and stroke. These do seem to sooth her.
My husband works away during the week and so I am doing all the checks ins for now untill we have 'cracked it' then will introduce him.
1st night: 1hr 10 crying and slept well through the night. 2nd night: (this night was a mess as she wouldn't wake up after bedtime feed) cried for 2 hours after waking in the middle of the night. We have now moved the feed to the start of the bedtime routine and this is working well. We also decided after this night to only sleep train at bedtime and not in the middle of the night. 3rd night: 1hr crying 4th night : 20 min crying 5th night: 45 min crying 6th night: 40 mins crying.
I was just wondering if anyone could advise on the following things:
1: I was expecting the bedtime crying to have reduced more by now- Is this normal and should we continue to stick it out?
2: I only feed her if it is past 1 am, and really try and make sure it's only once a night , but she is waking more regularly than she was before, sometimes 4 times. We don't do the timed check ins in the middle of the night because it seems like she has too much rest to go back to sleep and has hit the 2 hour mark of crying when we have done this (night 2). Is this an ok approch, it's worked for other I know, when can we expect night wakings to smooth out?
3: when she wakes in the night I pick her up and feed if it's time and then rock to sleep, if I really really can't get her into her cot (an hour of trying) then she comes into bed with me. There seem to be split options on if this is ok or not online, can anyone advise if I am 'ruining' things with this? If the advice is to stick it out how do you balance the likelyhood that she will get so little sleep so the next day will be a nightmare and a bit of a cycle of doom?
I think I was more tired than I was before! I'm fully invested in the process and realise I need to ride it out but really don't want to be making a silly mistake and causing her more stress than needed.
All naps are either on me or in the pram and are far too short, often 60/90 mins in the WHOLE day sometimes! I am massively trying to work on this and increase the length by any means so I am not yet trying to get her in the cot for these. Today is amazing and we will probably have 2.5 hours of naps by the end of the day!
I was really hoping that we would have a success story to go with the many others and I know it's early days I just wanted to check that there are no red flags here for anyone?
Thanks so much for anyone who has read this far or has any advice! I'm quite nervous about sleep training and know I will be a better parent for it as I am really struggling with the lack of sleep but I want to make sure I'm doing it the right way.

2023.06.09 16:19 Obesity-Won-Kenobi Nature of Abandonment (22/?)

Shiets gonna get real soon enough~
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Memory Transcription Subject: Slanek, Venlil Civilian
Date [Standardized Human Time]: November 13, 2136
Nulia I swear…
I love this Gojid with all my heart, but she would not let me go. He has been holding only tightly to me like a backpack, her tail wagging the whole time as we walked through the capital towards the new headquarters. She was constantly asking me “Are we there yet?!”, all excitedly… It made sense, Marcel was much more like a father figure to Nulia, and she seemed really quick to adopt him as a father the same way he adopted her as his daughter…
“She’s really impatient…”
I look over to hear Onso. The Yotul accepted my invitation to join us to see if we could see Marcel. He seemed ecstatic at the idea of meeting a human face to face over the phone, and that excitement wasn’t gone in the slightest.
“Oh, don’t act as if you’re any different~!”
We both shared a laugh as the headquarters came into view. It had drones flying about building up parts of the building under construction. The headquarters itself was a tall building with a strange tower at the top. Half the block consisted of the main building and the parking lot, while the other half of the block seemed to have a walled building… perhaps a prison block for inmates? It was all up to interpretation. The building itself seemed to have a navy-blue painted symbol along the front. It exuded a sort of importance, one that was found in many other government buildings.
There was a sign out front, “Help wanted, No exterminators beyond this point.”
Let’s see Marcel…
Onso spoke up, “So, you’re looking to get a job as one of those new ‘Police officers?”
I turned to face him, “Yeah! I had some experience as a UN peacekeeper for a while, so I know the general idea of what to expect. You might be welcome to work here too, if you're looking for work that is…”
He seemed to ponder my words for a moment, “I guess I could… maybe they have some machines they could use as an engineer for?”
“You’re an engineer?” I asked as we began to walk to the entrance. “I’m impressed. Those kinds of people are talented in many ways.”
“Daww thank you~”
We both laughed as we entered the main lobby of the building, while the upper floors were still under construction, the lobby was perfectly maintained and completed… There was a human working the front desk. We both approach her and give a gentle wave. “Hello miss, I was wondering if the overseer was available?”
She looked at me with suspicion, “Any reason why?”
“I was his partner during the exchange program. You can tell him a Venlil named Slanek is here.”
Her eyes widened, “I see… one second please.” She went about typing away at the computer as Onso went to sit down in the lobby chairs. I gave Nulia one of the little play magazines… she couldn’t read all of it just yet, but soon enough she’d grow to be the smartest Gojid I’d know.
Later, we heard some footsteps down the hallway approaching the lobby. When the figure revealed himself, his red plumage and scarred face turned to face us. A smile appeared on his face and the sparkle in his eyes became ever more apparent.
“Oh my God! It is you!”
Marcel spoke with excitement as he walked over to us… I stood up with Nulia in my arms as Marcel pulled us into a comforting hug. “When I received the message, I had a Venlil named Slanek waiting for me in my office, I thought it was too good to be true! But here you are and with little Nulia too!”
“Nuh uh! I’m a big kid now!”
Marcel and I laughed at Nulia, she was always such a joy to have around…
“Sooo… not to ruin the reunion… but I’m Onso.”
Marcel looked over to the Yotul with a warm and inviting smile, “It’s a pleasure Onso!” Marcel shook the Yotul's paw. “It’s great to see you and Nulia again Slanek! How have things been?”
I sighed, “Hectic, what with all the recent events and the massive shift in society we’ve had within such a short time. But it's all good! Nulia passed an entrance exam to get accepted into a good school!”
Marcel smiled widely at the fact, “That’s my little genius! I’m so proud!” Marcel went about booping Nulia on the nose, which made her giggle all cutely.
Onso piped up again, “Slanek and I are still looking for work… He made the suggestion of coming to work for you!”
Marcel’s smile beamed even more, “Is that true?! Wonderful! Come with me to my office! I have free time until my next interview and I think I should be able to squeeze you two in~!”
____________________________________________________________________________
Memory Transcription Notice: Chronological leap of 0.5 hours later
____________________________________________________________________________
The process was just like any other Interview for any other job, long and tiring. But it was worth it for the chance to work with Marcel again. Nulia was watching kid shows on the couch with my holopad as Onso and I went through the interview.
After a bit Marcel leaned forward resting his chin on his hands. “Given that you two seem to both have the necessary skills and experience for both the positions you want… You got the job! Come back here in two days for the orientation video!” Onso and I celebrated at the News and gave each other a high five. Marcel simply laughed at the scene before him.
Just then, we heard a voice, it was faint, but considering how high up we were it was clearly loud. The three of us look out a window and down into the parking lot to see a riot at the gate… They were all holding signs that were…
Anti-human and pro-exterminator…

I almost feel sorry for them…
Almost…

2023.06.09 16:18 dawnbomb I made a game modding tool in C#, now i want partners to help add further new features.

I've been working on a tool for about 5 months that makes it easy for people to create game editors (pictures at bottom). I am satisfied with what i have achieved, it is already functional and works great, it will open up many game communities to more options. Now however i want to expand it to cover more features and overall increase the quality.
Current the program works by a user giving it a file, and telling it where the start of a data table is, the size of the table, and also telling it where the names of things are. Then, it generates a game editor, and the user just labels what things do and can release a game editor in under 20 minutes. It can also export a entire editor to google sheets to crowdsource development.
I want to expand the current support to include editors for variable width hex, JSON, and XML, as well as increased functionality like double click to rename, and notification to user they haven't saved in awhile, among other things.
To date, to my knowledge there exists nothing like what i am creating. The closest comparisons are nightmare / nightmare modules (a old buggy mess of a program that is a nightmare to work with) and some windows DOS program thats literally unusable without a virtual box. I'm making a flexable game modding environment that isn't specific to any one game. I am looking for anyone interested in partnering / joining up and helping expand upon it and add new features.
Any level of experience is welcome, but the project is in C# / WPF and i absolutely demand anyone joining up to use discord, i simply refuse to use email or fucking snapchat for software development. I have never managed a group project before, but i'll do what i can. in addition to C# i'm looking for you to meet at least ONE of these conditions. If not, then your probably not who i'm looking for. If you meet even one and are interested, great!
- Understanding and experience with game modding.
- Familiarity with Hex Editors
- Know how to make a Json/Xml/etc editor.
- Experience with RPG MAKER or similar software
- Or if your just ridiculously experienced in C# and really want to help.
The tool allows users to create some really great mods, and i want to greatly expand it, visually, functionally, and with new features.
It can make editors for almost anything. Games like: Paper mario, fire emblem, the tales of series, octopath traveler, zelda, final fantasy, Resident Evil, Etrian Odyssey, Xenoblade, Pokemon mystery dungeon, anything really. So yeah, If you like game modding or want to help any modding community at all, come get in touch!

2023.06.09 16:15 cantseemtosleep I need help. I'm sort of "stuck" at this point in the game and not sure what to aim for next?

So my account is level 40. I can clear most all dungeons around 10-15. I've 3 starred hard campaign but can no longer progress in nightmare (I think I made it to chapter 4 before hitting a wall). My highest leveled champs are:
Kael - 60, fully ascended, full masteries, fully booked. Elhain - 60, fully ascended, fully booked Suzerain Katonn - 60, 5/6 ascension, partial masteries Pythion - 60, 3/6 ascension, fully booked, partial masteries Ronda - 58, 3/6 ascension, full masteries Athel - 50, 5/5 ascension, 13/15 books, partial masteries Artak - 50, 3/5 ascension Vergumkaar - 50, 2/5 ascension, partial masteries
Kael is my biggest damage dealer at the moment (2592 atk with artifacts/lifesteal set, 100%+ C. Rate, 97% C. Damage)
For champs, I have several epics but not sure if they're worth using. I pulled Uugo during the event but with Pythion and Vergumkaar I'm not sure I have much need for another support champ at the moment (though I'll probably keep him for FW). Also have:
Grizzled Jarl, Bloodfeather, Runekeeper Dazdurk, Mistrider Daithi, Infernal Baroness, Thenasil, Tagoar, Pharsalas Gravedirt, Royal Guard, Hoskarul, Phranox, Lodric Falconheart, and Jizoh.
I have the champs to fuse Relickeeper, but looking at his moveset he doesn't really seem worth it.
Any suggestions, advice?

2023.06.09 16:14 LordBeneter1018 Negative FNAF theory opinions I'd like to share ngl:

  1. RealNightmares: Illusion discs slapped onto endoskeletons or actual existing robots, I don't really get the appeal of RealNightmares other than the fact that it's just adding another point that William Afton is biggest piece of shit in FNAF ever (as if the child murders and offscreen child abuse weren't enough for some people) and the theory making the whole theme of FNAF 4 being about someone's bad dreams making it pointless.
  2. Nightmare (and Shadow Freddy to an extent) being William Afton's evil: Literal or figurative evil (the former I'm more confused on, like how?), all the on-screen things he did without theory and book reliance I remember this guy doing are of the following: Chilling as an easter egg (FNAF 2), lead 4 robots to the safe room and created a domino effect on Springtrap's creation (FNAF 3), harassing a child or a teen in his dreams (FNAF 4), and fucking aiding whoever TOYSNHK is in William Afton torture (UCN). That's it. Also, why a bear? "Mr. Billy's Wickedness Come To Life." At least transform into Shadow Bonnie ffs.
  3. WilliamStuffed: This theory and PuppetStuffed make their respective characters look like fucking idiots, I kinda get the latter, since Charlie the Puppet is an angry ghost kid making dumb kid decisions and probably thinking this would be a good idea at the time, but William, you can be a wanted criminal if you shove corpses of supposed missing people into active for-kids'-entertainment robots in an active restaurant and you are highly reliant on the police being incompetent nincompoops and/or your fellow business partner(s) being (a) corporate sellout(s) (he was even lucky to get both). And even the whole "mmm yes, time to test out possession thing" WillStuffed believers use at times is rather weird, can't he just, shove the corpses into his own self-made robots (Since in SL, he's also a robotics nerd) or at least in decommissioned ones?
  4. StitchlineGames: Personally, I'll never vibe with this one, and FrightlineGames (essentially stories that aren't part of the Stitchwraith epilogues are canon to the games). Mainly due to the "ok agony demons exist and at one point William became a trash monster to die in the hands of the puppet." Also some extra weird oddities if the whole novels and its sequel series Tales of the PizzaPlex (like body snatching Freddy dolls, an acid trip in the form of a ballpit, assimilation-ing fish with Bonnie heads, Springtrap mpreg, etc. And those are just from Fazbear Frights)
  5. MikeBot and Gregbot: Was a former believer of MikeBot but now I kinda find both it and Gregbot iffy as hell to say the least. Fucking Charliebot legitimizing the existence of robots passing off as "totally humans trust me" not just, humanoid/human-like/human looking but not 100% human robots. Even before Charliebot I was a bit sus on my MikeBot beliefs.

Every topical who doesn’t do sht except make it worse. a year ago my skin was amazing now it’s dogsht i’ve taken accutane in my teens before worked very well. But could it help rosacea and red bumps ? I see people say it helps and others say it caused rosacea so i truly am so confused. I saw a dude with rosacea who posted his progress and accutane cured him but then i read posts saying accutane worsens rosacea because of the flushing side effect and dry skin. Please help i can’t anymore. From far it looks like im a tomato and from up close it looks like mini dots on my face.

2023.06.09 16:08 thkt6475 They keep setting up another relationship behind the scenes, ridiculously hurtful

I’ve had two long term relationships, each 3 years long, and after that two that lasted around 6 months each. The three recent breakups were pretty rough, all of them had set up a relationship behind the scenes with another guy, whether it be a new guy they’ve recently met or an ex boyfriend of theirs. The first absolutely ruined me, bad nightmares, hardly ate, lost loads of weight and was just constantly miserable for about 6 months. I got through that rough patch, was happier and met another girl that I fell head over heals for, fast forward 6 months later… I move her out to her new apartment - worked like a dog, and 2 days later she dumps me and goes straight back to her toxic ex - again, I’m heartbroken, back to square one and a walking ball of depression. So once more, I get through it, I’m happy again, I meet another woman, this time older than me by 4 years (I’m 26, she’s 30 ish) so you’d think more mature and hopefully more morals, but once more, I was dropped after 6 months for her to “work on herself” - which turned into her getting back with her ex (that she’d never mentioned before).
I just feel like this is relentless, this generation is just quick snap onto the next one, so many people (likely myself now too) are dealing with demons caused from being mistreated in the past, how many times will have to go through a phase of dealing with these losses, my confidence plummets every time even tho I may not show it, I want someone genuine to come along, I’ve even tried to date people with varying personalities. I’m not going for the same severely insecure girl every time, I’ve tried to limit the poor decisions I could potentially make.

2023.06.09 16:07 Preparation_Moist Is Joker badly designed

So I decided to look into Joker’s stats from Ult Frame Data and I found a couple of things that don’t really make sense to me. I’m not here to talk about Arsene as a mechanic because we all know it’s a part of the character’s identity. Rather, I want to discuss some traits I found that seem pretty unjustified for him to have. They range from questionable decisions all the way to ridiculously unjustified. Here a couple of them:
  1. Hurtbox size/shifting. This is the reason why he is so hard to hit. I know the ninja archetype is supposed to be nimble and slippery, but Joker takes this to a new level because of his hurtbox size. If you put him next to other human characters of the same height, you can see how much skinnier he is. Combined with hurtbox shifting on his nair, his gun + low profiling on his dash animation, he is a nightmare to pin down.
  2. Joker weighs 93. This one is pretty egregious. For reference, Sheik, a character who Joker was largely inspired by, weighs 78. 15 units less than him. IMO, Joker benefits from weight more than 90% of characters because it increases his chances of getting a second Arsene on the same stock.
  3. 90% fastfall speed increase. Only other character that has this is Link. Most characters have a 60% increase. Why is this broken? Because Joker has a slightly above average fall speed, but a TOP 5 FASTFALL speed. He also has gun which makes him stall/float in the air. His 90% fastfall increase allows him to do the Leffoble (infinite up air dragdown on a platform). His gun allows for recovery stalling. So basically, a midfaller turns into Fox for his combos, but can also turn into a floaty while recovering.
  4. Gun is not a projectile. Some people have said that this is a reference to Persona 5 having gun moves as physical instead of elemental, but in the context of Smash it means that Gun cannot be reflected. Most characters who cannot keep up with Joker’s top 3 mobility are forced to take chip damage from Gun. If reflectors worked, Joker would have to think twice before throwing out down guns in disadvantage or edgeguarding, but no. As the move is right now, it is a pain to deal with in neutral.
  5. Tetrakarn’s (Arsene counter) hitbox. https://twitter.com/MatttGFX/status/1282517175329271810 This is not fake. Why is this even a thing? With a hitbox as big as this, Joker can edgeguard recoveries without even going offstage. (Ex.: Ryu/Ken up B) Also, quick up Bs that usually pass through regular counters are easily caught with Tetrakarn’s hitbox from the back. This move also activates on frame 3 or 4, has one of the lowest endlag windows when missed, has the highest damage multiplier in the game for a counter (1.6x) and always sends the way Joker is facing. So spacing a Corrin up B that triggers Tetrakarn from behind will still send you away from the stage.
  6. Arsene up smash has arm intangibility. No one talks about this but like… This is just ridiculous. I noticed it on Ult Frame Data and only the Arsene variant has arm intangibility. So basically, it makes Arsene up smash way more disjointed and harder to challenge from above. For no reason.
So these are my thoughts. Some of these are definitely more relevant than others but still. All in all, I think Joker has some badly designed traits that don’t really make sense.

2023.06.09 16:03 dawnbomb [Hobby] I made a game modding tool in C#, now i want partners to help add further new features.

To date, to my knowledge there exists nothing like what i am trying to create.
