Hello, I am on a trip to Punta Cana Dominican republic and the hotel is absolutely horrendous and really want to go home. I haven't even been here a full 24 hours but in the morning I really want to leave the hotel has roaches I want to go home early. Will jet blue understand and give me an earlyer flight?

Hey everyone! I’m going to be visiting SD and punta Cana and saw that prostitution is legal in the country. Is it really that common and any things to ensure to spot / avoid places?

Our US family is returning to Punta Cana for a one week vacation. It’s been about 12 years since we’ve been there. It seems I remember we had to fill out a “tourist/visitor permit” before going through customs?
Is this still a thing?

My husband and I are traveling to Punta Cana soon and are only taking carry on bags. I want to take some individual sticks of Halo Hydration powder that we can mix in water bottles at the resort. Are these individual packets allowed in my carry on? Do they go in my liquids bag or can they just be in my bag? Thanks!

My dad recently passed so my mom and I want to do an all inclusive resort for the week in between Christmas and New Years. We've done this a few times in the past (RIU Punta Cana, Secrets Akumal, Barcelo Playa Del Carmen). But we want a great girls trip + all inclusive so I'm looking for some recs - budget is decent and we'll be flying out of Chicago so we can get anywhere pretty easily.
We have a reservation for the Hilton Play Del Carmen Adults Only right now but we are still open to other options across the Caribbean or Mexico.

Friends and I are looking to go to Punta Cana next year and stay at an all inclusive resort. It'll be a larger group (12 adults, 4 kids all under age three) and we're looking for a spot with a baby/toddler pool and decent food. The short list so far is:

We're going to be hanging around the pool and eating/drinking most of the time, so the beaches and excursions don't matter so much.

Hi! A group of my college friends are looking to get together at an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana early next year. A couple of us have little kids (ages 10 mo. to 3 years), and we figure the all-inclusive resort will be the easiest for families. Club Med Punta Cana, Dreams Onyx, and Dreams Flora were all recommended to us. Any insights on which one has the best food, best beach area, best toddlekids pools and isn't too big? We aren't going to be doing many activities, mostly just eating and drinking and enjoying the beach and pools.

i (f20 about to be 21 in a few days) and my bf (m20) have been discussing a trip to greece for over a year. his family is also going to join since they used to live in greece and speak the language. they asked me to join them on vacation and i have been waiting for the day to buy out tickets. well, a few days ago they got their tickets and told me to buy mine when i was ready! i REALLY want to go! i missed out on mexico with my sister and cousins in order to save up for greece. and they’re also planning punta cana which i’m not going to because i’m saving. anyways, my mom knows about this trip to greece. in the beginning she told me i could go and she’d ask me about it and i would get so excited. but now she changed her mind. my mom is an old fashioned middle eastern women (my entire family actually) and she’s saying i can’t travel alone with my boyfriends family. which i understand but his parents will be there and it’s more of a family vacation than a baecation. she’s worried about what my dad and his mother will say and how they’re gonna ask who i’m going with and she’ll get the blame. but i told her to just tell them i’m going to europe with my cousin (who is actually going for a month with her friends) and they won’t ask anymore questions. but she continues to be paranoid and says that i shouldn’t travel with my bf and his family unless i’m engaged. i feel like my entire life i couldn’t do anything because i was worried for my mom and how my dad would react or my grandma. but i feel like that’s not my responsibility anymore and i don’t want to miss out on this opportunity (note: ive always wanted to travel to greece even before i met my bf who’s from there). what should i do? i know i can just tell my dad that i’ll be with my cousin but my mom made me paranoid and now i’m sad. what should i do??????

Planning on booking our honeymoon for this DecembeJanuary. We have gotten a few quotes from a travel agent for all-inclusives in Punta Cana, Jamaica, and Mexico. The few that I've looked over have been more expensive than when I've done mock bookings directly through the resort. Is it worth it to pay the extra fee for the guarantee and benefits that come from a travel agent, or should I end up booking on my own to save the money?
I'm also very much a people pleaser and would feel terrible not booking through the travel agent after she's done all the work in coming up with quotes for us.
