It’s been exactly 10 days since my boyfriend and love of my life ended things with me through a text after a battle of sharp words. It’s been 3 days since he tried to amend things with me with cuddles followed up with my Valentine’s Day favorites. It’s been 1 day since he admitted he isn’t 100% sure what he wants, again. Our wounds and scars are cut open, stinging deep into our souls. In that moment I knew that was it. I realized I deserve someone who is sure of me and decided to make the decision to end that chapter of my life. I have no fight left.
I feel strong. Don’t get me wrong, I spent the morning crying uncontrollably. I’m heartbroken, I feel broken in half but I know deep down I am going to get through this. I have the coping mechanisms, the resources and support to mourn the death of the greatest love I’ve had thus far.
He has been exhibiting concerning behavior, he relapsed on adderall and is taking a Xanax prescription that isn’t his. He’s an alcoholic and an addict something I hid from people, something I didn’t truly believe was a problem all while I thought I was protecting him. I know he feels a lot of shame around his addiction and that he believes he is failure. I’m heartbroken he doesn’t realize he is better than those feelings. I wish I could take all his pain away. I worry for him…last night, I could see in his eyes how lifeless and numb he was. I can assume he had just taken a bar and went to sleep shortly after. I know he struggles with depression and anxiety but I worry he doesn’t have the same healthy coping mechanisms, the resources and support to come out on the other side. I’m concerned this self destructive behavior will make his life harder digging a deeper hole to crawl into. I hope quite the opposite, I hope he finds it in himself and begins to realize all the great things about himself. I’ve never met anyone with such a big heart and so genuinely good to the core. The hand he was dealt unfair but I know someday he will overcome those feelings and come out on top.
I’m human, I can’t stop caring and I love him with my entire being and those feeling wont dissipate overnight. I can’t let him be my responsibility anymore. I have to stop protecting him and let go. I am focusing on me and I’m moving forward. I have thought “what if we make our way back to each other” and walked myself through different scenarios in my head. I realize it’s unrealistic and the best thing for him and myself is to cut ties. The thought of never seeing him again is unfathomable.

It seems like the only options are "all question marks and all discovered locations" and "no question marks and no discovered locations" (besides shops and fast travel). I'd like to be able to see the abandoned treasure, bandit camps, etc that I've already discovered, so that I can have a clue about where I've been and haven't been. Is there any way to change this?
