Hi all! I have an Apple Watch I’m wanting to sell but am not sure the best/safest place to post it for sale? Marketplace locally on Facebook has had some shady dealings (some guy was literally ran over for a cell phone) so I have been putting my feelers out looking for better options. I am terrified of getting ripped off (someone pays and then tries to dispute payment or something). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, it’s been worn twice and I just can’t get used to wearing a watch and it’s been in my drawer collecting dust. Does Reddit have a place I could do this? Does anyone have any experience with selling apps they can share? Thanks so much ☺️

SELLER FINANCE MARKETPLACE - you probably don't even know what that can be because you are gonna say "OMG WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?", well people do that.

It is a marketplace where one side can post a listing and other side can view a listing and inquire.
Types of listings? - Real Estate, Businesses & Transport.
You ever seen posts like "no credit check, buy here pay here, owner finance, rent to own, lease to own, creative finance, seller finance, no banks, bad credit score we approve, and many more" - well so in general all of that is called SELLER FINANCING or OWNER FINANCING.
Basically my marketplaces is focusing on those seller financing deals and lets people browse and find what they looking for.

Why I built it? - shit, i could get deep into details here but whatever I simply could not qualify to buy investment property using traditional mortgage because, I've been self employed and showed little income, so no tax returns that would qualify me for loan.
Then I remembered that in Real Estate they always say "you don't need a lot of money", so I was like let me do a research about this cuz everyone says it but doesn't actually show anything, so that is when I found SELLER FINANCING STRATEGY.
I was like oh this is nice, that this strategy is actually real.
Then I stumbled onto a problem with search - I tried zillow, loopnet, realtor, and more - they have seller financing deals but I needed to search by keywords.
Then I went on facebook and found A LOT OF GROUPS, with like 50k members, I was like oh wow I hit a goldmine.
I tried to find some deals there but it's just not it you know, so many people jump on one deal, and you can't filter by states, cities, bedrooms, and so on. Then I thought oh i gotta connect with sellers so they can send me deals, it works but they forget about you.
This is when it hit me though, I went on google and typed "seller finance marketplace" and nothing.
I was like how bro?
Then me as serial entrepreneur that failed more than succeeded said "I will make this marketplace just so I could get leads."
I started to design and research more and more and I got to the point where I added Businesses & Transport to the website, because it made sense.
Then google, insta, fb started to show me targetted ads about seller financing.
Niiiiiiiice, I followed some people that mainly do seller financing such as Pace Morby and Codie Sanchez but there are much more, these 2 are the biggest influencers in seller financing, Pace buys RE and Codie buys businesses.
They also sell courses on how to buy RE or Business using seller financing, Pace Morby 10-12k and Codie 8k.
So recently I told myself that I will add educational resources to the platform so people can watch it and read it and understand how to buy or sell. I will create a community/forum where people can partner up, then we already have the marketplace where you can search for deals, then I'm adding some services such as "full concierge", "sell us your home", "help with funding", and some other things. Full concierge is when a beginner or a busy investors asks us to find something for them and we do it, we negotiate, structure the deal, and close it for the client.

I recently sold a car on Facebook marketplace and the person I sold it to reached out to me telling me that he can't register it because it has a scrap title. Is that possible? Because I still have unexpired registration on it so it was clean title till I sold it to him. How is this possible?

I work at a fast food place, and I'm a manager there. This one coworker I've been friends with for a few months now and we get along well. We joke around and talk to each other. Recently she's been more joking with me, she might come up to me and try to untie my shoes with her feet, or she might put a random little piece of trash in my shirt pocket, or jokingly kick my feet as well. She sometimes calls me over to look out the window at the mountains if they look pretty. We also talk a little outside of work and she has even called me to just talk a little. One day we were just talking about how many Lay's chips flavors there are and she would make comments like "we should try them all" or stuff like that
I'm not doing the best financially and she knows and she's been like trying to help me to do better. Whether that's offering to pay for gas or looking on like Facebook marketplace for a mattress for me.
She does mess around with like 1 other person at work. And that other person is in a relationship but she makes comments to this other person about wanting them or something.
A different coworker asked me why she keeps like putting stuff in my pockets and I was like "I dont really know", they responded with "I think she's flirting with you". And I honestly didn't see it that way and was kind of confused, so here I am with this post. Me and her have always just been good friends. We've had mini arguments or whatever but we get better

okay.. i am struggling making sales on depop and decided to try facebook marketplace and sales groups (i carry handcrafted piecesand knits, and other brands like anthropolgie, reformation, anna october and more). i wanted to try facebook sales groups to easily cater to certain audiences and run away depop fees. whatever you do, do not go to facebook to sell! all peope want is under $3 or nothing at all. depop is sometimes slow, but some people on there are different and actually understand the value of some products.. it makes the fees just a little worth it,, 🤍

Hi! I’m looking for recommendations on a good road bike, I am honestly not looking to spend more than $300. Is this a reasonable budget? Facebook marketplace has some good options from what I can see, I just don’t know much about bikes. I’m currently been training on the spin bikes at the gym to try and practice those muscles/endurance, but want to get outside and practice more. The bike I have is a (Walmart) schwinn from middle school that has some wear and tear. Advice on selling that would also be appreciated!

I placed an order on 5/28/2023. The seller purchased a usps shipping label on 6/1 and has since never dropped off the package. I messaged the seller multiple times on messenger with no response. I created a claim with Facebook on 6/9 and the claim was closed because the seller had "shipped". I also tried to get a refund but kept getting an error response. I contacted Meta pay support on messenger for help and have yet to hear back from a person. I even found the sellers instagram and sent a message there as a last ditch attempt. What are my options? Do I need my bank to step in and dispute the charge?

I am trying to buy a fridge from Facebook marketplace and every single listing I have come across has been a scam. Why? The post will always say something about the warranty still has x amount of months left and then when I message them asking for more pictures, they show me a completely different fridge. Also, the biggest red flag is when they ask for a Depot via Venmo, Zelle, cash app, etc. What is it about appliances that is such a market for scamming? I just feel like there’s no point in wasting time on Facebook marketplace anymore. So disappointed in the world today. You cant trust anyone. Not sure why refrigerators have made me question society so much, but here we are.

I have several wild blueberry bushes growing in my yard and I was thinking about selling them. Last time I posted here was about finding rent in Brussels , found it and almost everything is good. The housing websites weren’t helpful at all , almost everyone that I messaged did not respond back so I choose to use Marketplace from Facebook. Now the problem is the address, the owner says that it has less than 5 years so he can’t make address or something like that. Searched again on Marketplace to find out that if you want to have an address in Brussels you need to pay around 200€-300€ monthly , what is this price for ? How can you gain addresse for less ? Any helpfull tips ?
