CPWA Deception
The show opens with a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute for The late Iron Sheik.

We open with a video package highlighting Shelton Jordan winning the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones scheming to regain the gold. We then see highlights of Keith Yang's matches and the return of Logan Lemming. We are then shown highlights of the Super Junior Carnival tournament, more specifically, Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon's path to the finals. The video package ends with slowed-down clips of Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, LeJuan Jones, and Shelton Jordan, who raises the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship over his head.
Sticky Fingaz's "Man Up" plays in the arena as we see pyro go off for a few seconds, followed by cheering from the crowd.
Brian Kinsley: We welcome to CPWA Annihilation! We are coming to you live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! Brian Kinsley along with Anthony Harris and Sir Samuel Stewart, we have an action-packed pay-per-view that includes six championship matches, including the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as Shelton Jordan defends his title against Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones.
Anthony Harris: Plus, we have the finals of the Super Junior Carnival tournament. I can't wait for that to go down.
Sir Samuel Stewart: It's definitely going to be a thriller of an event, and I think we may see some new champions.
Brian Kinsley: Let's get right to the action.
We cut to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for...
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Leo Arnaud's "Bulger's Dream" plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Olympians, the team of Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson.
Brian Kinsley: Devon Gatlin-Tyson looked like a would-be favorite to win the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but came up short against "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon in the semifinals.
Anthony Harris: Give Chip Day and Miles Orozco credit for helping DGT with those victories up to that point. I still believe he's going to be CPWA Cruiserweight Champion one day.
80s Synth Track Nightscapes plays in the arena.
Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, from Los Angeles, the team of Mark Starr and Ricky Vice, StarrVice!
Brian Kinsley: Mark Starr and Ricky Vice competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament, but it would be Ricky Vice who would face Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the quarterfinals and would lose thanks to the interference of the aforementioned Chip Day and Miles Orozco.
Sir Samuel Stewart: It really hurt Ricky's chances, but he wasn't the only one affected by The Olympians' number game.
M.O.P.'s "Fly N***a Hill F***a" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Their tag team partner, from Brooklyn, New York, he is one-half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Hi-Fli Kid," Jerome Evans.

Brian Kinsley: "The Hi-Fli Kid" took on Devon Gatlin-Tyson in the first round of the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while it was a tremendous match, it would be soured by the interference of Day and Orozco.
Anthony Harris: Best believe all three competitors want some payback on Chip, Orozco, and DGT. Don't get it twisted, however, StarrVice may be teaming up with "The Hi-Fli Kid," but they also got their eyes on regaining the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships.
Match 1: The Olympians (Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson) vs. StarrVice (Mark Starr and Ricky Vice) and "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans
You would think that an opening match like this one would get the crowd hyped for the rest of the event, but it felt underwhelming at times. While the story here was StarrVice and "The Hi-Fli Kid" looking to get a measure of revenge on Chip Day and Miles Orozco, neither competitor was looking sharp in the ring. Devon Gatlin-Tyson carried much of the match for his team, which was the only highlight for the Olympians. The action then became a spotfest, leading toward the end of the match, where DGT nailed Mark Starr with a Split-Second DDT to get the win for his team.
2 out of 5 stars.
We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing CPWA World Heavyweight Champion Shelton Jordan. Shelton says that he's tired of LeJuan Jones's mind games and wants to put him away for good. He also says that he welcomes a challenge from Logan Lemming and Keith Yang, both of whom he will also defeat tonight.
We return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Television Championship.
Nu Breed's "Florida" plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, accompanied by his alligator Sunshine, from the Sunshine State, he is the CPWA Television Champion, "Florida Man" Gary Strange
Brian Kinsley: The last time "Florida Man" Gary Strange held an open challenge for the CPWA Television Championship, he lost to The Mortician.
Sir Samuel Stewart: Only for him to regain it back a few days ago on Octane.
Anthony Harris: No thanks to Pretty Boy, who will defend the CPWA Hardcore Championship against The Mortician later on tonight.
Gary Strange enters the ring and takes the mic as Nu Breed's "Florida" stops playing.
Gary Strange: Well well well, Florida Man holds CPWA gold once again and looking to take on any challengers brave enough to challenge me. Come on, don't be shy. I'm ready for ya.
Yoshida Brothers' "Storm" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Introducing first, from Kagoshima, Japan, he is Kenshiro Ishii.
Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Kenshiro Ishii since High$takes and he looks more than ready to bring the fight.
Anthony Harris: Brotha looks jacked and he knows he means business.
Tego Calderon's "Mil Cosas" plays in the arena
Announcer: Finally, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is Ramon Vega!
Brian Kinsley: The last time we saw Ramon Vega, was back in January when he was teaming up with his brother Raymundo.
Sir Samuel Stewart: He took some time off to compete in his native Puerto Rico, but now he's back and looking to win some gold.
Match 2: CPWA Television Championship: "Florida Man" Gary Strange vs. Kenshiro Ishii vs. Ramon Vega
A solid yet rough-around-the-edges kind of match. There was lots of brawling from all three competitors, along with some technical wrestling from Ramon. It looked like Ramon Vega was close to winning the CPWA Television Championship, but "Florida Man" managed to prevent the three count from occurring. Gary Strange continued fighting back, leading to him hitting a WTF (Welcome To Florida) on Vega to get the three count and to retain the CPWA Television Championship.
3 out of 5 stars
We cut to the locker room area and we see "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones discussing strategy with Brother Julius about how to deal with Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, and possibly Logan Lemming. Brother Julius tells LeJuan to focus more on his match and that he will deal with the other competitors tonight. LeJuan nods and Brother Julius sets out to put his plans in motion.
We return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit.
Johann Sebastian Bach's Air on G String plays in the arena.
Announcer: Introducing first, from the posh hills of the Hamptons, she is Priscilla Pierce.
Brian Kinsley: Priscilla Pierce won big a few days ago on Octane in tag team action with help from "The Dominican She-Devil," Ivy Fernandez.
Sir Samuel Stewart: Priscilla Pierce looks to be on the fast track to challenging for the CPWA Women's International Championship.
DaniLeigh Ft. Fivio Foreign "Dominican Mami" plays in the arena.
Announcer: And her tag team partner, from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she is "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez
Brian Kinsley: "The Dominican She-Devil" may have won gold in Puerto Rico, but word has it that she may challenge for the CPWA Women's Championship.
Sir Samuel Stewart: It could be a possibility, but let's see what happens.
GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, she is the CPWA Women's International Champion, Shiori Yoshimura.
Brian Kinsley: Shiori Yoshimura gained a victory over Priscilla Pierce two weeks ago on Octane, but lost in tag team action a few days ago. She's looking to get a measure of revenge.
Anthony Harris: Shiori's going to be a fighting champion for CPWA, and I know she's got to be fuming after that loss.
Estrada de Estrela plays in the arena
Announcer: Her tag team partner, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, she is the CPWA Women's Champion, Cristina Moreira.
Brian Kinsley: Cristina Moreira has been kept busy ever since winning the CPWA Women's Championship. She's been on a media whirlwind in her native Brazil, promoting CPWA.
Anthony Harris: I would love to do a show in Brazil. To all our Brazilian fans out there, CPWA sees you!
Match 3: Shiori Yoshimura and Cristina Moreira vs. Priscilla Pierce and "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez
Another solid match that saw some technical wrestling on display. While Cristina, Priscilla, and "The Dominican She-Devil" appear to be improving with their technical wrestling skills, Shiori was leagues ahead of them. Shiori controlled much of the match, even going as far as to utilize some power attacks. The match ended with Shiori hitting a Spinning Bison Bomb on Priscilla to get the win.
3 out of 5 stars.
We cut to backstage and we see Kimberly Reynolds interviewing Rory Irvine. Rory says that nobody believed in him when he decided to enter the Super Junior Carnival tournament and that he could go all the way. Rory says that he's made believers out of those who have followed his journey through the tournament and knows that he is going to become the inaugural Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner and challenge for the CPWA Cruiserweight Championship.
We return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 25-minute time limit.
Blood Brothers' "Replica" plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, the team of Owen Benoit-Jericho and the CPWA Cruiserweight Champion Kelly Lawton!
Brian Kinsley: Both Owen Benoit-Jericho and Kelly Lawton entered the Super Junior Carnival tournament and while OBJ managed to go further than Lawton, neither one was able to reach the grand finals.
Sir Samuel Stewart: I know Kelly Lawton has to be feeling some of type way about that loss. Let's hope he can redeem himself should Rory Irvine win the whole thing.
Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena.
Announcer: And their opponents, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the team of Steve and Adam, the Odenkirks!
Brian Kinsley: Much like OBJ and Lawton, Steve and Adam Odenkirk also competed in the Super Junior Carnival tournament. Steve managed to reach the quarterfinals, while younger brother Adam lost in the first round.
Anthony Harris: The Odenkirk brothers look like they got something to prove and they're not looking to hold back anything.
Match 4: The Commonwealth (Kelly Lawton and Owen Benoit-Jericho) vs. The Odenkirks (Steve and Adam Odenkirk)
A solid tag team match that had a little something of everything: Technical wrestling, brawling, MMA, and high-flying. It was an evenly fought match until the Commonwealth uses underhanded tactics to keep the advantage in their favor, isolating Adam from Steve. Anytime Adam would tag in Steve, the referee did not see it. Eventually, Steve got the tag and was a house of fire, knocking down Lawton and OBJ. Steve looked to have the match won with a 450 Splash but "The Iron Maiden" Mary Addams interfered on behalf of the Commonwealth, pushing Steve off the top rope. This allowed Lawton to hit the Outback Cutter on Steve to get the win for his team.
4 out of 5 stars.
We get a one-minute video package hyping up Pretty Boy and his path of destruction. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Hardcore Championship.
An organ cover to Runaway Casket plays in the arena.
Announcer: Introducing first, from Resting Peace Funeral Home, he is The Mortician!
Brian Kinsley: The Mortician lost the CPWA Television Championship, thanks to Pretty Boy, who maniacally beat the living daylights out of him.
Sir Samuel Stewart: The Mortician knows what it takes to win the CPWA Hardcore Championship, but against Pretty Boy, I don't know.
The arena lights go out and we hear an ominous female voice.
Ominous Female Voice: Pretty Boy...oh Pretty Boy...punish...them...all!
Glitter Wasteland's "Cold War (Nightcrawler Remix)" plays in the arena as blue and red lighting fill the arena.
Announcer: And his opponent, he is the CPWA Hardcore Champion Pretty Boy!
Brian Kinsley: Pretty Boy has been on a rampage since winning the CPWA Hardcore Championship, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.
Anthony Harris: That man is cold-hearted. I don't think I've ever seen him blink once.
Match 5: CPWA Hardcore Championship: Pretty Boy (c) vs. The Mortician
If you wanted a balls-to-the-wall, knock-down, drag-out hardcore match, this one was it! The Mortician and Pretty Boy wasted no time beating the living hell out of each other, but Pretty Boy gained the upper hand. Pretty Boy threw the Mortician around like a rag doll at times, followed by beating him with clotheslines and rainmakers. The Mortician started to fight back, using steel chairs, lead pipes, and even the ring bell on Pretty Boy. The Mortician looked to have made some dents in Pretty Boy, causing him to bleed, but it only made Pretty Boy aggressive as he battered the Mortician, leading to a chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver for the win.
4 out of 5 stars.
After the match, Pretty Boy continued beating the Mortician. Suddenly, Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" (Elliot Loud version) plays in the arena
Brian Kinsley: IT'S MANGOD!!!
Mangod rushed the ring and started beating up Pretty Boy, causing him to flee. Mangod then headbutts the turnbuckles as the crowd cheers wildly. Mangod helps the Mortician to his feet, raising his hand to the crowd's approval.
***Intermission***
We cut back from intermission and we see Brother Julius walking down a hallway. He stops when Monroe Storm approaches him. Monroe tells Brother Julius that Logan Lemming has his sights on the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as well and will stop at nothing to get it. Brother Julius warns Monroe that Logan better not cross "The Number One Pick" or he knows what's good for him. Monroe scoffs and walks away. Brother Julius shakes his head and does the same.
we return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA International Championship.
The Wellerman plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Commonwealth, from Auckland, New Zealand, Jason Black
Brian Kinsley: We haven't seen Jason Black in a long time, and that's because he's been touring between Japan and his native New Zealand.
Sir Samuel Stewart: The Kiwi looks like he's poised to bring home some gold to The Commonwealth.
The March of Death theme plays in the arena.
Announcer: Next, from Guadalajara, Mexico, this is El Colibri
Brian Kinsley: El Colibri was one of the favorites to win the Super Junior Carnival, but it wasn't meant to be as he lost in the first round to "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon.
Anthony Harris: It was quite a shock, but let's see if he can rebound and get back to his winning ways.
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's "The Creator" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Finally, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA International Champion, Deron "Ron" Jordan.
Brian Kinsley: Deron "Ron" Jordan has been helping his brothers in their feud against "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones, but here, he's looking to defend his CPWA International Championship.
Anthony Harris: Let's hope he can retain it to keep more gold in the family.
Match 6: CPWA International Championship: Deron "Ron" Jordan (c) vs. Jason Black vs. El Colibri
This match wasn't good, but it certainly wasn't bad either. It was all over the place at times as there were some brawling mixed with some high-flying from Ron and El Colibri. Jason Black had control of the match, beating down El Colibri, but Ron prevented any chance of a three-count from happening. Both Ron and El Colibri double-teamed Jason Black, but they would turn their attention to attacking each other. El Colibri had Ron in the La Mistica, but Jason Black broke the hold. With Ron out of the way, this allowed Jason to hit the Blackout on El Colibri for the win and become the new CPWA International Champion.
2 out of 5 stars.
We get a one-minute video package hyping up The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy) and their dominance over the Women's Tag Team Division. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championships.
"Hitman" plays in the arena
Announcer: And their opponents, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they are the team of Crystal and Tracy, the Hart Sisters.
Brian Kinsley: We are in Canada, and the Hart Sisters are getting a huge ovation.
Sir Samuel Stewart: The Hart Sisters look to win big here tonight, and I have a feeling that they will.
Eminem's "Venom" plays in the arena.
Announcer: And their opponents, they are the CPWA Women's Tag Team Champions, Carnage Ayano and La Venena.
Brian Kinsley: Carnage Ayano and La Venena are a dangerous combination of Japanese Strong Style wrestling and Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling.
Anthony Harris: These ladies are psychotic in the ring. I've seen their matches in Japan and Mexico, so I know what they can do.
Match 7: CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship: La Venena and Carnage Ayano (c) vs. The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy)
A somewhat decent match that had some great moments but at times, it was a botchfest, which was unusual for both teams. The Hart Sisters had control of the match, but Venena and Ayano started making a comeback. Crystal Hart managed to win the match for her team, placing Ayano in a sharpshooter to give her team victory and regain the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship.
2 out of 5 stars.
We cut to backstage and we see Kevin Meyers interviewing Keith Yang on his title match. Keith says that he hopes that the third time is the charm and that he will become the new CPWA World Heavyweight Champion.
We return back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship.
GACKT's "Redemption" plays in the arena
Announcer: Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan, the team of Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura
Blake Shelton's "Good Ole Boys" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Next, from the great state of Tennessee, Roy and Zechariah, the Newton Boys.
Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Finally, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they are the CPWA Tag Team Champions, William and Jake, the Odenkirks!
Match 8: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship: The Odenkirks (William and Jake) (c) vs. Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura vs. The Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah)
This was a chaotic match with tons of high spots and lots of brawling. At one point in the match, Jake Odenkirk and Zechariah Newton climbed atop the ladder and beat each other with forearms and fists, leading to both men crashing through a table. This was followed up by a 450 Frog Splash combo from Daigo Yoshimura. Roy Newton saw an opportunity to reach for the gold, only for Ryota Yoshimura to powerbomb him off the ladder and onto some chairs. Unbeknownst to Ryota, William climbed atop the ladder and retrieved the CPWA Tag Team Championships.
2 out of 5 stars.

We get a three-minute hype package about the Super Junior Carnival tournament, along with highlights featuring Rory Irvine and "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon. The hype package ends with clips of Rory Irvine and Han Sang-Hoon staring at each other.
We cut back to the ring.
Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is the grand finals of the CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament.
The O'Reillys and Paddyhats' "Barrels of Whiskey" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Introducing first, from Dublin, Ireland, he is Rory Irvine.
Brian Kinsley: If you were to tell anyone that a young, plucky, yet scrappy wrestler from the Emerald Isle would find himself in the grand finals of the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, after going through numerous trials and battles, no one would've believed it, but here we are.
Sir Samuel Stewart: Young Rory Irvine has been waiting for such an opportunity and he's going to make the best of it.
Rain's "It's Raining" begins to play in the arena
Announcer: And his opponent, from Seoul, South Korea, he is one half of the CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon!
Brian Kinsley: "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon blazed a path of his own throughout the Super Junior Carnival Tournament, defeating the likes of El Colibri, Steve Odenkirk, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Could he win it all?
Anthony Harris: He may, but also keep in mind that he's also CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion with "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans. How will that all turnout?
Match 9: CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament: Finals: Rory Irvine vs. "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon
This match was the highlight of the event and the best match overall. Rory had the early advantage, but "The Korean Idol" came fighting back. Rory hit the Celtic Crucifix Drop on Han, only to get a 2 count. Rory look to put the match away but Kelly Lawton, Owen Benoit-Jericho, and Mary Addams provided distractions toward the referee and jumped Rory. Han would get himself involved, chasing off Lawton, Addams, and OBJ, only to be met with a superkick from Chip Day and Miles Orozco, plus a split-second DDT from Devon Gatlin-Tyson. "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans, along with StarrVice rushed to the ring and fought The Olympians. It was complete chaos as everyone began fighting on the outside. Rory went for the Celtic Crucifix Drop, only for Han to reverse it into a falcon arrow, leading to the K-Pop Drop for the victory becoming the inaugural CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament winner.
4 out of 5 stars.
After the match, Han Sang-Hoon extended his hand to Rory for a handshake. Rory accepted the handshake as both competitors celebrated together. Although Han won the tournament, the crowd cheered loudly for Rory, chanting his name.
We get a four-minute hype package featuring Shelton Jordan, Keith Yang, Logan Lemming, and "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones. The hype package ends and we return back to the ring.

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
Announcer: And it is for the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Bambu's "Chairman Mao" plays in the arena.
Announcer: Introducing first, from Shanghai, China, he is Keith Yang.
Brian Kinsley: IT'S YANG TIME!!!
Buckshot, Skyzoo, Promise, and Sean Price's "I'm Better Than You" plays in the arena.
Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Brother Julius, from Columbus, Ohio, "The Number One Pick," LeJuan Jones.
Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" plays in the arena.
Announcer: His tag team partner, accompanied to the ring by Monroe Storm, from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, he is Logan Lemming.
The Roots' "Do You Want More" plays in the arena.
Announcer: And their opponents, introducing first, representing The Jordan family, from Miami, Florida, he is the CPWA World Heavyweight Champion, Shelton Jordan.
Match 10: CPWA World Heavyweight Championship: Shelton Jordan (c) vs. Keith Yang vs. "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones vs. Logan Lemming
There was lots of action going on in this fatal four-way. Everyone seemed evenly matched at first, but Logan Lemming took control of the match, suplexing anyone that got in his way. Not to be outdone, Shelton Jordan performed several Exploder Suplexes on each of his opponents. Although Keith Yang got in some offense, he would be taken out by Ivan Markov. This allowed Logan Lemming and LeJuan to double-team Shelton Jordan. It looked like the double team was working, but both competitors weren't going to allow the other to get the pin. This led to Logan and LeJuan fighting each other. Logan was about to hit LeJuan with Logan's Run, but the Soldiers of Misfortune (General Wade and Guerrilla God) prevented that from happening, saving LeJuan from any harm. The Soldiers of Misfortune double power-bombed Logan and then Shelton, leading to LeJuan to hit a Game Winner on both Logan and Shelton to get the win and regain the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship.
4 out of 5 stars.
LeJuan Jones is presented with the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship as the pyro goes off and the crowd jeers and boos. LeJuan Jones and Brother Julius celebrate as Deception fades to black.

1866 Italianate Exterior Paint - Update
Last year we posted here asking for exterior paint color advice.
We ended up testing lots and lots of paint samples (I think we tested 20 different shades of green). Started to run out of good weather while the porch was getting finished, and uncovered a few stretches of the gutter and downspout that need to be replaced prior to painting. So still a few areas to finish up this season, but wanted to post an update with some before/after photos from winter.

After
Here's the breakdown of the colors we chose (included color reference as last photo in the album):
edit: table formatting/embed photo
1905 - Magnolia/Benjamin Moore (matched at Sherwin Williams) body of house, shutters, top/bottom porch railing, porch posts, stair risers
Natural Tan - Sherwin Williams trim of house, window/door trim, balusters at porch rail
Rookwood Shutter Green - Sherwin Williams corbels
Dutch Tile Blue - Sherwin Williams porch ceiling

Going to paint the stucco exterior of my house. What is the best paint brand to use? I know it’s a matter of preference for the most part but I had a couple guys give me quotes that did not recommend sherwin Williams. They mentioned Kelly-Moore or Dunn-Edward being a superior product. Thoughts?

2023.06.10 18:25 dwlarkin Playoff Talk: Stanley Cup Finals Game 4

Good morning BlueJackets! Again, a lot has changed since the last game thread! Dare I say, I'm excited to watch some CBJ hockey next season??? We're going to have to wait a few more months, and a lot more is going to happen, but dammit, I want to fast forward to see how we look.
Anyway, back to the Finals! The Panthers escaped by the hair of their kitty-chin-chin with an OT win thanks to a late game tying goal by Matthew Tka-Clutch. I said last thread that they'd need more than two goals to win, and by god, they scored three and won. Can they keep the Knights to only two goals again? Or will the high-powered offense from Vegas light Bob up again?

2023.06.10 14:31 longenglishsnakes People still missing from programs and facilities

Introduction

I wanted to collate some information about people still missing from programs. Obviously, there are a lot of runners from programs - some don't get out of the door before being caught, and some keep their freedom until they're 18 and can make themselves known again. That said, there are a lot of people who go beyond runners - who have been missing for years, their image frozen at thirteen, with no news and few theories. These people deserve recognition.
I struggled with how to define the TTI here - lots of people are missing from group homes, which aren't necessarily TTI but sometimes operate with similar modes of coercion, control, repression, and restricted access to rights such as food and sleep. I have tried to be careful and not assign someone TTI when they weren't part of it, but I may have some inclusions or exclusions which you disagree with.

1970's

February 3 1973 (?): Sentenced to Synanon by court order, Rose Lena Cole was sixteen when her last known contact occurred - a postscript to a letter written the previous year noting that she'd finally found a stamp. Rose wasn't actually at Synanon when she went missing, having run away and written to her family telling them she couldn't write again until she turned 18 lest Synanon find her, capture her, and force her back against her will. Rose has never been heard from since, and is still classed as a runaway.

1980's

August 31st 1981: Patricia Lynn Taylor was fifteen when she went missing. Born in California, she'd gone at some point to North Dakota to live with relatives. At some point afterwards, she was taken to Oklahoma and put into the care of Oklahoma's Department of Human Services. First placed in the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children, she was moved to the Tulsa Girls Group Home in July 1981. She went missing on the 31st August that year, and was classified as a runaway. Patricia's family continue to look for her.
March 23rd 1984: William Charles Cordes was a "troubled youth" who had spent time in Juvenile Hall and Oak Ridge House group home before being sent to the Children's Home Society in Auburn, California as punishment for stealing beer. He and two other boys escaped the group home to go to a party, after which 15 year old William has never been seen again. Although he was initially reported as missing, the report was swiftly cancelled and no investigation was made into his disappearance until years later.

1990's

January 16th 1993: John Christopher Inman was a 17 year old student of CEDU Running Springs when he went missing on January 16th 1993. John wasn't the healthiest - he needed meds to prevent seizures, he had a shunt in his skull, crowns on his teeth, and he needed glasses - and didn't have his seizure medication on him when he seemingly ran away.
June 26 1994: A year and a half later, Blake Wade Pursley went missing from the very same CEDU campus. Blake wasn't too healthy either - he'd been in an accident as a toddler that left him with a paralysed vocal chord, a life-threatening internal fungus, poor motor skills, and seizures, and he too required daily medication for said seizures. Blake had only been at CEDU since June 1st, and the circumstances of his disappearance are unclear - the school and authorities believed he'd voluntarily run away, while his family believe he was lured away or abducted. There have been sightings of Blake, but he has not been confirmedly seen since June 26 1994, when he was 14 years old.

2000's

February 8 2004: Another decade on, and another young man disappeared from CEDU High School - 16 year old Daniel Ted Yuen. He was at CEDU for only ten days before running, having been initially sent there following the recommendation of a psychiatrist following a bout of depression. On The Lost Kids podcast, Daniel's parents have stated they believe he is still alive - indeed, there have been recent alleged sightings of Daniel with a woman and baby.
February 15 2004: Thirteen year old Justin Phillip Harris has few confirmed details about him online - everything seems to be contradictory. His father stated he had no disabilities, while the staff at the R.L. Mills Home stated he required constant supervision and was unable to function without psychiatric medication. The R.L. Mills Home, closed in 2011, was a home for adolescent boys with emotional and behavioural problems, and it's from there that Justin vanished. Seemingly, he packed his bed with clothes to make it look like he was asleep in it and then ran away during the night - that said, his father believes that Justin was a victim of a crime, and that the R.L. Mills Home had covered it up. Justin has never been found.

2010's

December 4 2010: Forest Ferguson had attended Diamond Ranch Academy before he ended up at Carlbrook School, a CEDU spinoff which closed in 2015 and is discussed in depth in Stolen: a Memoir by Elizabeth Gilpin. Forest left campus at 7.30PM with some additional clothing, and has not been seen since. Forest's loved ones run a website dedicated to finding Forest and bringing him home.
May 5 2013: William "Billy" Fred Patient III had some problems - he was diagnosed as bipolar, he had substance abuse issues, and was swamped by grief over the death of his father in 2012. Billy was enrolled at The Academy, a residential centre for 'troubled teens', to try and treat his substance abuse problems and depression. He and a group of nine other boys went on an outing to Juno Beach, Florida - Billy was last seen floating in the ocean, his clothes and wallet on the sands. Naturally, one may assume the worst - that Billy drowned, either by accident or intentionally - however his mother believes he was alive for at least several months after his disappearance due to activity on his Facebook page, including messages being read. Billy's parents ended up being refunded by The Academy, as they had failed to provide what they had promised them.
January 21 2019: A resident of Spruce Street Inn, a residential program for " “street youth”, chronic runaways, and commercially sexually exploited children", Kaitlynn Munson went missing on January 21 2019. Kaitlynn simply left, with a couple of sightings shortly after her disappearance but none in the years since. Both of Kaitlynn's parents are dead, and Kaitlynn has severe developmental disabilities. 14 at the time, Kaitlynn is now 18.
February 3 2019: The youngest on this list, Serenity Dennard was only nine years old when she ran away from Black Hills Children's Home in February 2019. Serenity's life had been filled with trauma - removal from her birth parents, over a dozen foster placements, and a diagnosis of Reactive Attachment Disorder. Her adoptive parents placed her in the private facility for a 14 month stay to work on her trauma, and Serenity had been at the home since July 2018. She had already run from the facility before, and so had been on run watch right up until February 3rd. Serenity's disappearance caused concern and outrage when it was revealed the facility took 41 minutes to call 911 following her disappearance, valuable time wasted.

Conclusion

There are many more than this. There are kids from group homes that seem to be TTI-inspired or to follow TTI protocols, but which I can't find definitive information about. There are kids who're written off as runaways and their information never makes it online. There are kids who no one knows about. Kids lost in the system. I can't name them all, but I offer my love and respect to those people. They deserved better.

2023.06.10 09:40 jtuttle923 when is enough enough

When is enough going to be enough, from the route 91 shooting to parkland florida and so many others. People just need to lean on God and Jesus and Remember the virtues they taught us, like treat othe like you would like to be treated and love thy neighbor and thou shall not murder. I am thankful that God has blessed my family and kept each and everyone of them safe. Thank you o lord . May other learn to live in peace as many of us have learned, for an example my juggalo family love each other and respect one another and we help each other even if we anit blood were still family, whoop whoop. May God bless everyone who reads this and help them to live in harmony with one another. When will enough be enough. When will we get mental health background checks before people can buy guns and why do we need anything bigger than a shot gun to protect ourselves, like Robin Williams said what is their some big deer in the forest with abullet proof vest on going hay let's party this is for my brother who's hanging in a bar in Kentucky. Rest in peace. I pray that everyone learns that others are not to blame for your problems, nor is their religion or skin color or their attitude that is responsible for your problems, you are the only one who has control over your situation and you are the only one who can do anything about your situation. Grow up and be a real human being not a whiney little complainer who blames everyone else for their problems. In the emortal words of Rodney king " can't we all just get along ". I would like to thank all of the the brave frist responders who have saved countless lives during all of the tragic mass shootings in the country. Thank you all for your bravery. I hope that one day congress learns that we need laws that work not laws that work for the gun lobby or manufacturers or big corporations but for all of us. God I pray that you put some sense into our politicians to make better decisions about the world. I pray these things in Jesus name Amen.🙏 ✌️@❤️.

2023.06.10 09:30 BruhEmperor Freedom National Convention of 1892 American Interflow Timeline

Freedom National Convention of 1892 American Interflow Timeline
After the Pro and Anti Barnumite divide of the Freedom Party, the Freedomites suffered a humbling loss in the 1888 election, losing a 12 year period of hegemony. With the past four years of Custer, the formerly divided party reconciled and mended the wounds left four years ago. However due to the growing unpopularity of Barnum’s legacy nationwide, and especially after Barnum himself died back in 1891, the former Barnumites would be mostly sidelined in this upcoming convention, such as now Ohio Governor William McKinley who was seen as a future presidential aspirant. Though wisely, party unity was put first instead grudges and the party started the Fort Wayne convention a largely unified force, ready to take down the new national order.
William Pierce Frye - Dubbed the ‘Pine Tree King’ by both opponents and supporters, this fiery senator is well-known for being a student of the conservative ‘Old Guard’ of former Senator James Blaine and former President Hamilton Fish. 62-year old Maine Senator William Pierce Frye was a devoted Anti-Barnumite during Barnum’s administration, being a staunch opponent of martial law, even coming second place in the Anti-Barnumite convention. Frye is the model example of a traditional conservative, being supportive of protectionism, businesses, industry, and isolationism. Frye would be moderate in other things such as the 16th Amendment, being indifferent to it, and reconciliation, preferring the pro-reconciliation education plan instead of Custer’s forced re-education. Frye would also have the distinction of advocating to keep the American Congo colony and to not sell it the French, though his efforts failed. Frye would also call for aid to the Continental Alliance to ‘preserve the democracies’ of South America. Frye would be renowned for his witty yet strict personality in the Senate floor, often including both religious messages and witty jabs at his opponents in his speeches. Frye would make this remark while debating fellow Senator Ricard F. Pettigrew (RP-DA) regarding free silver, “Who am I to sin by lying before the Senate? You senator do not understand that all your economic proposals are inconceivable… I have not sinned yet.
William Pierce Frye
Henry Clay Evans - The South, and particularly Tennessee, is a region usually dominated by the Commons, however the east of the state lies a strong Freedomite base that has persisted since the end of the Civil War. A representative would hail from there, being called the ‘Liberal bass in the sea of Commonwealth sharks’. The representative in question would be 49-year old Henry Clay Evans, a pioneer of helping unite the Pro and Anti Barnumites as well as his efforts in aiding reconciliation in his home state. Evans would be one of the few prominent Freedomites from the South, often allying with other southern Freedomites such as Florida Representative Thomas Van Renssalaer Gibbs to curb other parties' influence. Evans would gain attention due to his staunch anti-militarist attacks on the 16th Amendment, where in a heated debate with the reactionary John Carlisle (C-KY), Evans would claim the military would use fear to get their way by saying, “If I were a mule and two men were calling me, one holding an olive branch and one holding a gun, who do you think I would let ride my back?”. Evans is a strong advocate for internationalism, particularly favoring the British, and supporting business and industry growth. Other policies would include protectionism, continuation of Custer’s forced re-education policy of reconciliation, supporting the advancements of technology and healthcare, and calling for the direct election of senators.
Henry Clay Evans
Samuel M. Jones - Normally when you think of a businessman turned politician, you usually would think they would side with the ‘corrupt trusts’ of our time. However in this case, you couldn’t be more wrong. An advocate of ‘trust-busting’, strong regulation, free trade, and electoral reform, a businessman who coined the ‘Golden Rule’ in factories, stating to treat others as how you would like others to treat you. 46-year old Samuel M. Jones would be that businessman turned staunchly progressive Ohio representative. Jones would be appalled by the massive deregulation occurring by Custer’s government, seeing the rise of big business as harming the common people compared to its benefits. Though Custer would implement things such as an 8-hour work day and labor reforms, Jones would push for even more reforms to curb monopoly influence. Along with advocacy of internationalism and the continuation of free trade, Jones would follow the push of direct elections of Senators and even a referendum on whether or not to give women voting rights. Jones would also follow the anti-militarist movement, even advocating to weaken the armed forces even more, reducing its power and force as much as possible. This would of course bring both Jones both supporters and opponents, often resulting in tension when he is mentioned.
Samuel M. Jones

2023.06.10 02:00 Lordofthe305 CPWA Deception Preview

From CPWAdotcom
CPWA Fatal Alliance comes to you live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It will feature ten excellent matches, including a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the CPWA Tag Team Championships, a fatal four way for the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship, and the finals of the CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament.
Match 1: The Olympians (Chip Day, Miles Orozco, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson) vs. StarrVice (Mark Starr and Ricky Vice) and "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans
Throughout the Super Junior Carnival tournament, Chip Day and Miles Orozco have done everything in their will to ensure that Devon Gatlin-Tyson reached the finals. In the semifinals, The Olympians were stopped by the likes of StarrVice and "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans. StarrVice and Evans have one goal in mind, and that's getting some revenge on The Olympians, more specifically, DGT, who's been a hot commodity, not just with The Olympians, but as a constant contender for the CPWA Cruiserweight Championship. This six-man tag team match should be a high-flying battle not to be missed.
Match 2: CPWA Television Championship: "Florida Man" Gary Strange's Open Challenge
"Florida Man" Gary Strange has once again regained the CPWA Television Championship, and with it, he looks to throw out another open challenge to anyone who wishes to face him for the gold. The last time "Florida Man" threw out a challenge, he was defeated by the Mortician. Will "Florida Man" be successful this time around, and who will it be to challenge him for the gold?
Match 3: Shiori Yoshimura and Cristina Moreira vs. Priscilla Pierce and "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez
Ever since regaining the CPWA Women's International Championship, Shiori Yoshimura has been seeking new competition to challenge her for the gold. Priscilla Pierce has stepped up to challenge Yoshimura, though only in non-title action. After winning a tag team match with "The Dominican She-Devil" Ivy Fernandez, Yoshimura looks to even the odds as she teams up with CPWA Women's Champion, Cristina Moreira. Will the champions prevail or will Priscilla Pierce and "The Dominican She-Devil" make their presence felt?
Match 4: The Commonwealth (Kelly Lawton and Owen Benoit-Jericho) vs. The Odenkirks (Steve and Adam Odenkirk)
CPWA Cruiserweight Champion Kelly Lawton hasn't had much luck these days. His shocking defeat at the hands of Rory Irvine. Lawton tried to seek payback but to no avail. Even worse, when Lawton tried to help fellow Commonwealth member Owen Benoit-Jericho to advance further in the Super Junior Carnival tournament, he was met with malice. Now, both Lawton and OBJ now face a tough task in the form of Steve and Adam Odenkirk, who were also in the Super Junior Carnival tournament, and looking to let out some steam of their own.
Match 5: CPWA Hardcore Championship: Pretty Boy (c) vs. The Mortician Ever since making his debut at High$takes and winning the CPWA Hardcore Championship, Pretty Boy has been on a path of destruction, leaving wrecked bodies in his wake. Pretty Boy made his presence felt last week on Octane, attacking the Mortician in a tag team bout. He would also cost the Mortician the CPWA Television Championship. Seeing no other choice, the Mortician looks to put Pretty Boy to rest, but it won't be easier said than done.
Match 6: CPWA International Championship: Deron "Ron" Jordan (c) vs. Jason Black vs. El Colibri
Deron "Ron" Jordan defends the CPWA International Championship against The Commonwealth's Jason Black and the high-flying luchador El Colibri. Although the Jordan family may be feuding with "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones, Ivan Markov, and the Soldiers of Misfortune, Ron may need to have eyes in the back of his head in more ways than one, especially with a returning Jason Black and always game El Colibri looking to take the gold for themselves.
Match 7: CPWA Women's Tag Team Championship: La Venena and Carnage Ayano (c) vs. The Hart Sisters (Crystal and Tracy)
At Fatal Alliance, La Venena and Carnage Ayano pulled off a surprising victory against The Hart Sisters for the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championships. The Hart Sisters are looking to not only regain the CPWA Women's Tag Team Championships back but to also continue their dominance in the division. Will the Harts be able to regain the gold, or will La Venena and Carnage Ayano keep the belts for themselves, establishing their dominance?
Match 8: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the CPWA Tag Team Championship: The Odenkirks (William and Jake) (c) vs. Ryota and Daigo Yoshimura vs. The Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah)
The Odenkirks regained the CPWA Tag Team Championships after defeating the Yoshimuras at Fatal Alliance. While it seemed like The Odenkirks were looking for new challenges, the opportunistic Roy Newton reared his head, looking to get the Newton Boys a shot at the gold. Not to be outdone, the Yoshimuras announced their intentions for a rematch. GM Ronny Sharpe would raise the stakes a bit further, placing the CPWA Tag Team Championships in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Which team will come out on top?
Match 9: CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament: Finals: Rory Irvine vs. "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon
The inaugural CPWA Super Junior Carnival Tournament has been nothing short of amazing and filled with many shocking upsets. One such surprise story is Rory Irvine. The young Irishman has had quite the run throughout the tournament, from a big win against Kelly Lawton in the first round to beating former CPWA Cruiserweight Champion Money Mark, Irvine's run through the tournament has been Cinderella-like. On the other end of the spectrum, "The Korean Idol" Han Sang-Hoon has had stellar matches with the likes of El Colibri, Steve Odenkirk, and Devon Gatlin-Tyson. Only one will become the inaugural winner and challenge for the CPWA Cruiserweight Championship. Will it be the scrappy upstart from Ireland or the high-flying sensation from South Korea?
Match 10: CPWA World Heavyweight Championship: Shelton Jordan (c) vs. Keith Yang vs. "The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones vs. Logan Lemming
"The Number One Pick" LeJuan Jones has returned to claim what he believes is rightfully his, and that's the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship, held by Shelton Jordan. LeJuan, along with his advisor, confidant, and manager, Brother Julius, have been concocting plans to drive a wedge between Shelton Jordan and Keith Yang, with some varying results. A few days ago on Octane, it seemed like LeJuan Jones was going to gain the upper hand against both of his rivals, with help from Logan Lemming, only for GM Ronny Sharpe to announce that the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship was now a fatal four-way for the championship? Now, all four battle each other for the top prize. Will Shelton Jordan be able to retain the gold? Will Keith Yang or Logan Lemming become the champion? Or will "The Number One Pick" regain the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship?
That is the card for CPWA Deception. Comment below on you who think will win at the event.

2023.06.10 01:24 Adventurous-Home3682 IAH vs William P. Hobby

I’m currently interested in relocating to Houston, Tx. I wanted to know which airport is better to work at. I’m currently at FLL which is the worst airport to work at in Florida for TSA. I will be going to F-1 next month so the pay won’t make a major difference unless I go to IAH. I have been to IAH before and never visited William P Hobby. I’m aware that IAH will offer the better schedules and locality but is the comparison between the two airports like FLL vs Miami? FLL is not really that large but it still can function like many larger airports at times. I’m worried that William P Hobby will be even smaller like PBI-Palm Beach. Not many people comment on the 2 airports and I consider that a good thing.
