hi everyone! i’m looking for advice for my prom at the end of the month. i’m pretty skilled with makeup but i’m so uninspired at the moment, i’m doing my makeup myself so looking for low cost products suitable for oily skin. i’m 17 if that changes anything
here’s the basics: - blue-green eyes with brown centres so pretty much every colour of eyeshadow/lipstick works - fair, neutral undertones, oily skin, my foundation matches are maybelline 103 pure ivory and no7 calico - black thick eyebrows, dark brown hair with red highlights - black dress, black bag, black shoes, gold accessories - i already have brows, lashes and skin sorted so mostly looking for eye products and a good setting spray - pretty into alternative fashion and makeup so i’m open to anything, whether it’s basic or overly dramatic
any help would be appreciated, whether it’s drugstore products you love, advice on techniques, or colours! i’m thinking maybe red lips because i have one of the mac liquid lipsticks but not entirely sure. if you want pics of the dress or face or whatever then let me know

2023.06.10 23:16 aj_955 [QUESTION] any tips on how to remove mold from inside a semi hollow body guitar?
Context: I recently just bought a PRS SE Zach Myers model. Love the finishing, great neck, great pickups, great everything really. What I initially thought might have been glue/buffing compound inside of the top cavity where the sound hole is, actually turned out to be white mold, and I didn't really notice it until I took it home to clean/adjust/restring the guitar.
There wasn't a lot in there, I suspect the guitar sat in the shop over wintethrough the spring season and became overhumidified at some point, allowing for mold to spread on the inner workings of the guitar (I live in the Midwest so seasons can be extremely cold/extremely humid at times).
This didn't seem to ruin the structural integrity of the guitar, I am unsure of the species of mold, but have seen it before in basements. Basically looked like white pilling. I got most of it out through lightly brushing the inside of the cavity with a small toothbrush (yes I wore a respirator) and some vinegar, and I'm letting it sit with some rice in the cavity to kill any excess moisture.
My apartment is climate controlled and I've never had any moisture issues with my other guitars, so I'm not worried about it spreading or getting worse. Is there a way to get all of it out? I've been contemplating taking it to a Luthier to see if they can sort out the remaining pilling/mold but would like to save $ if possible. I suppose I could take it to the shop and have them look at it. The cavity is quite small so I'm more so looking if anyone who's experienced in maintaining semi-hollowbody guitars has any tips/tricks to neutralizing this. Again, this isn't like a "I found a guitar sitting in the attic and the case is a science experiment" situation, more of an inconvenience. Any help would be appreciated!

I've harboured an interest in art and animation for a long while now. However, my actual drawing has been sparse at best. I barely draw because every single time, I get depressed.
It goes like this: I attempt to draw a line. It's lopsided and wrong. I rub it out, draw it again. It's wrong again. I rub it out once more, draw it, it's still wrong. And then, that's it. I snap. I break down into tears, cursing my own inadequacy and wishing I had the talent others do.
I just can't bring myself to do anything if I have to fail. Failure is so unbearable. The idea that I must fail to learn and succeed is horrifying.
I don't know what to do. I want to draw, but I just can't do it.

I have begun watching Good Trouble, and I am currently mid-Season Three.
I like the show's characters enough to continue watching. However, the political aspect of this show has gotten to be a bit much (which is only heightened by the fact that I'm binge watching).
It seems to me that the show makes complex issues seem very black and white (for lack of a better term), and makes those who don't agree with the liberal politics of the characters in the show either come off as bigoted or misguided.
There's no room for the "gray matter," in essence.
Does this wear on anyone else while watching? For someone who "leans liberal" in some instances and "leans conservative" in others, I feel like the show greatly downplays major issues, oversimplifies them, and doesn't do very well with giving objective scenarios.
I understand this show is aimed at teens and young adults, and it's trying to impact this generation to make a difference. However, I feel as if though arming them with one-sided information and oversimplified scenarios is doing more harm than it would good.
(Also, does Callie remain outstandingly pretentious and self-righteous and selfish, or does she undergo some semblance of redemption because I'm at the point where I honestly can't stand to see her on the show anymore -- but perhaps that's a post for another time.)

It’s in the same soil as all my succulents, gets the same water amount (ground watering, every other week), gets the same sunlight The leaves always look perfectly fine and normal. The picture is from a propagation I took off the first plant (after it shriveled into black and died). Ripe puer is okay, not funky enough to satiate coffee cravings for me.
Raw puer was a bit boring IMHO. The lapsang smoked stuff I got just tasted like cheap tea covered up by light smoke… which is probably exactly what it was.
I absolutely loved my Tilt Shift white tea Minis though.
I like the grape notes and fruit I got off of the white tea. I’d love further recommendations. I think I’m just gonna buy a full cake on the next one and I’d rather order from someone in the US because white2tea had a crazy shipping times. Is there anywhere in New York you’d recommend to get a cake?
