2023.06.09 06:27 DANKOUSO this is what happened to sam

in case nobody knows about this sam did die after dark of the moon and it's pretty bunch confirmed in age of extinction when cade wakes up optimus prime cuz the first thing optimus does is start screaming "it's an ambush oh no sam run" and that was optimus reliving the moment before he was put to sleep and the other reason is because in the last knight Vivian is the last of the witwicky heritage and that also tells you that not only is sam dead but so are his parents I know pretty fuckin depressing isn't.

2023.06.07 08:16 HexxiBojexxi The End of an Era (Appreciation Post)

It was obvious that FWOB wouldn't last forever, especially not in the daily uploading sense, but it still hits real deep to know it won't exist like it used to going forward. I started watching Cade during his "How To" series when I was a Freshman in highschool. I hopped over shortly after the BOTW highlights video on his channel went up, and I was instantly hooked. These goofy boys made me laugh, and helped me grow through some difficult times. I actually have a really nice memory of FWOB I look back on sometimes, I had gotten beat up in school, had my arm in a cast, and had recently moved to a new home; it was a dark evening, and I had nothing but a bare mattress and a wool blanket. And what was I up to, but watching FWOB play Tropical Freeze with my bandaged arm, genuinely laughing and enjoying myself. I've changed a lot since FWOB started, dropped out of school (thanks Cade), transitioned both socially and medically, grown into an adult, and met someone really special. And the craziest thing is, the boys have grown over the years with me. We all love to poke fun of how the commentary has aged over the years, (Is it gay?) but I love going back and revisiting it all, and can still laugh at the fun moments. I really hope the boys can continue to grow, in thier new environments, and new friends, doing who knows what. And I'll still be here, watching these goofballs game out of their minds, and maybe catching the few remote FWOB streams when they come out.
-Sincerely, the cute girl reading this

2023.06.06 18:27 VagabondReborn What draft classes would Scoot Henderson ACTUALLY have went first overall?

2022 - Yes. Paolo had some major red flags (wingspan, jumpshot) and questions about his motor. Scoot is a more well rounded prospect than him.
2021 - No. Cade was arguably the most well rounded prospect of the last decade with his combination of shooting, size, playmaking and defense. Basically the prototypical 6'8 (as we thought) wing in today's league.
2020 - Yes. This was a very weak draft at the time and Ant wasn't even the consensus #1 for most of the year. Ant was one of the handful of prospects who were an even better athlete than Scoot but he was worse basically everywhere else. Scoot is far more polished than Ant was at the same age. Plus a ton of questions about Ant's love of basketball
2019 - No. Zion was a generational prospect
2018 - No. I think Ayton has been a victim of some hindsight bias but he was an absolutely elite prospect. His athleticism, size, touch and defense with his size and build was just too much to pass up. No one is going to bypass a two way 7 footer star prospect for a small guard, especially not Phoenix with Ayton's connection to the area.
2017 - No. Fultz was a better all around prospect than Scoot. He had similar levels of athleticism, was taller and longer, and had an ELITE 3 level scoring game that Scoot has not shown. He was drawing comparisons to Harden for a reason. Fultz was and still is the best PG prospect i've ever seen.
2016 - No. Ben Simmons was getting damn near generational hype at LSU. He was getting Magic and LeBron comps. God level athlete while being a 6'10 point forward. Other than jump shooting, Simmons was a superior prospect in every facet.
2015 - No. KAT being a (project) dominant defensive big man prospect and 7 footer with soft touch just made him a much more rare and valuable archetype than a hyper athletic PG.
2014 - Yes. Wiggins wouldn't have even went #1 if Embiid hadn't gotten hurt. His hype cratered at Kansas and there were many questions about whether or not he had the "it" factor because he kept disappearing in games in college.
2013 - Yes. Anthony Bennet was the #1 pick so this is a no brainer.
So i'm willing to say Scoot would have went #1 in 4 of the last 10 drafts. Do you agree? I'm very high on Scoot and think he's a top 3 guard prospect of the last decade (Fultz, Cade).

2023.06.05 19:19 RFC2001 Rebooking Every WWE PPV from WrestleMania 1 - WrestleMania 40 - Part 46 (Long)

Unforgiven 2007
Date: 16/9/07
Location: FedExForum, Memphis, Tennessee
WWE Tag Team Championship:
Matt Hardy & MVP (c) vs Deuce ‘n Domino
Women’s Championship:
Candice Michelle (c) vs Beth Phoenix
Triple H vs Carlito
(Triple H insults Vince McMahon on Carlito’s Cabana and McMahon tells Triple H he wishes he never came back. Carlito says the lack of respect Trips has shown to Vince McMahon is disgusting and someone needs to teach him a lesson so Vince books this match and has the utmost confidence in Carlito to make Triple H pay. Triple H says the beating he’s going to give Carlito will be cool before moving onto bigger things. Triple H wins although after the match, he’s attacked by… Umaga! Umaga gives Triple H a Samoan drop and stands over him, much to the delight of Vince.)
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Tommy Dreamer
(Tommy Dreamer wins a #1 Contender’s Match against The Miz to earn this opportunity. Tommy Dreamer says a main goal he has is to become the ECW champion after years of dediciation, blood, sweat and tears for the land of extreme. CM Punk says Dreamer is a god of ECW who has nothing but his admiration and respect but he’s not losing his title any time soon again to anyone, especially the old guard. Punk retains and shakes Tommy Dreamer’s hand after the match.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c) vs The World’s Greatest Tag Team
(After the match, Shelton Benjamin turns on Charlie Haas. Benjamin is traded to ECW after the PPV and The Gold Standard is born.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista (c) vs Finlay w/Little Bastard vs Kane vs Rey Mysterio
(Batista says now that he’s back on top of the food chain on SmackDown again, he welcomes all challengers. Finlay interrupts and says Batista’s next challenge is going to be him because he’s worked his arse off to the point he can no longer be overlooked. Rey Mysterio comes out and says with all due respect to Batista because he loves him, he wants the chance to relive the dream again even if it’s at his expense, especially after just having almost a year of his career took away from him. Kane then makes a case for himself saying Batista hasn’t ever defended his title against him and if he got the chance, he’d become the World Heavyweight Champion in one attempt. Batista says he doesn’t care who it is, he’ll face all 3 of them if he has to. Teddy Long announces that’ll be the case at Unforgiven. Batista retains by pinning Finlay.)
WWE Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs John Cena (By Disqualification)
(John Cena invokes his rematch clause at Unforgiven. Cena promises to regain the title at the first time of asking and says Randy Orton is nothing but a coward. Randy Orton in order to get into Cena’s head, slaps his father on Raw in the build up and makes it very personal. During the match, Randy Orton pulls Cena’s father over the barricade and punts him in the skull. Cena then flips and attacks Orton with a steel chair which results in him being disqualified. Cena then delivers an FU to Orton through the announce table and goes backstage with his dad who’s being carried out on a stretcher.)
Casket Match:
The Undertaker vs Mark Henry
(After weeks of mind games and vignettes, The Undertaker returns and wants revenge on Mark Henry. Taker on the vignette tells Mark Henry their match will be a casket match and at Unforgiven, Mark Henry will Rest in Peace! The Undertaker wins on his return after he manages to hit Henry with a Tombstone Piledriver before putting him in the casket.)
Note:
(John Cena tears his pectoral muscle on the Raw before No Mercy, putting him out indefinitely.)
No Mercy 2007
Date: 7/10/07
Location: Allstate Arena, Rosemont, Illinois
No Holds Barred Match - Winner faces the WWE Champion in the main event:
Triple H vs Umaga
(Umaga is hired by Vince McMahon to deliver consequences to Triple H after being severely disrespected by The Game. Vince says Triple H is going to wish he never came back after Umaga’s done with him and announces that he’ll face the Samoan Bulldozer at No Mercy in a No Holds Barred Match. After John Cena gets injured, Jonathan Coachman announces that the winner of this match will face Randy Orton in the main event for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing match. Triple H wins in a bloody encounter to seal his spot in the main event.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
Paul London & Brian Kendrick (c) vs Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
Rey Mysterio vs Jamie Noble
(Vickie Guerrero who’s just been named the new GM of SmackDown is disrespected by Jamie Noble who claims if her name wasn’t Guerrero, she wouldn’t be in her role. Guerrero tells Noble for his comments, he’ll pay so she books him in a match with someone she knows well, Rey Mysterio! Mysterio beats a confident Noble who arrogantly thought he’d easily win because Mysterio’s smaller than him.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Jeff Hardy (c) vs Carlito
The Brothers of Destruction vs Mark Henry & Big Daddy V w/Matt Striker
(After Unforgiven, Mark Henry continues to go after The Undertaker although this time with someone by his side, Big Daddy V! As a result, Kane evens the odds for his brother and Vickie Guerrero books a tag team match to take place at No Mercy.)
Women’s Championship:
Beth Phoenix (c) vs Candice Michelle
Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Tommy Dreamer
(Tommy Dreamer challenges CM Punk to one more match for the ECW Championship. Punk happily accepts and tells Dreamer once again they’ll elevate ECW but he’ll also emerge victorious again, especially in his hometown of Chicago. Tommy Dreamer says his days are numbered in wrestling but he’ll be going nowhere until he at least wins the ECW Championship again. New ECW GM Armando Estrada announces that this match will be a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match! Dreamer says he doesn’t care how much blood he loses, it’ll be worth it in the end when he leaves CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago as the new ECW Champion. CM Punk retains in a bloody affair in his hometown.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista (c) vs Finlay w/Little Bastard
(Finlay cheats in a match against Rey Mysterio to earn this opportunity against Batista. Finlay says The Animal is nothing but hype and he’ll give him an old fashioned Belfast beat down at No Mercy. Batista says Finlay is an idiot who’s best weapon isn’t even the Shillelagh, it’s that dumb little troll they call Little Bastard. During this match, Little Bastard tries to help Finlay win the title by handing him his Shillelagh when the referee isn’t looking but Batista is aware of the potential threat tactic and overcomes Finlay to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)
Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs Triple H
(Triple H comes into this match banged up and tired from his match against Umaga earlier in the night. The Cerebral Assassin puts a fight but in the end, Randy Orton totally capitalises and retains his championship after he RKO’s Triple H through the announce table and The Game fails to make the count of 10.)
Note:
(Shawn Michaels returns on the Raw after No Mercy and beats the hell out of Randy Orton for putting him out of action.)
Cyber Sunday 2007
Date: 28/10/07
Location: Verizon Center, Washington, D.C.
United States Championship:
MVP (c) vs Kane (fan voted) (By Disqualification)
(The fans choose Kane to be MVP’s opponent for the United States Championship. MVP gets himself disqualified after hitting Kane over the head with the title before retreating.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (c) vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Falls Count Anywhere Match - Fan Voted:
Rey Mysterio vs Finlay w/Little Bastard
Intercontinental Championship:
Jeff Hardy (c) vs Mr. Kennedy (fan voted)
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs The Miz
(The Miz wins a Battle Royal to earn this opportunity against CM Punk. The Miz says his journey from Tough Enough to now will have it’s next step towards greatness at Cyber Sunday when he beats CM Punk for the ECW Championship. Miz demands to be taken seriously and CM Punk says at Cyber Sunday, he’ll take him serious just like he does every opponent he faces even though he most likely shouldn’t take Miz serious because he’s nothing but a jackass. After the match, John Morrison attacks CM Punk and The Miz joins in on the beatdown.)
Stretcher Match - Fan Voted:
Triple H vs Umaga
(Vince McMahon is furious that Triple H didn’t appear to shake Randy Orton’s hand the night after No Mercy so he once again sends Umaga after him to teach him a lesson. Triple H says The Samoan Ass kisser should’ve stayed away after he beat him at No Mercy but instead he comes back for more and promises he’ll regret it.)
WWE Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs Shawn Michaels (By Disqualification)
(Shawn Michaels wants revenge on Randy Orton for costing him 5 months of his career and demands a match for Orton’s beloved WWE Championship at Cyber Sunday. Orton grants him the match because he wants to kill the legend of Shawn Michaels even further by not only beating him to a pulp but also admits he has a desire to put him on the shelf again after he attacked him although this time for good. Shawn Michaels tunes up the band and is about to win this match with a Sweet Chin Music but The Legend Killer blatantly hits him a low blow and intentionally gets himself disqualified. Orton continues to attack Michaels and hits him with an RKO before walking away with his title.)
World Heavyweight Championship - Stone Cold Steve Austin is the Special Guest Referee (Fan Voted):
Batista (c) vs The Undertaker
(On the SmackDown after No Mercy, The Undertaker confronts Batista and signals that he’s wanting back the World Heavyweight Championship so Vickie Guerrero books the match. It’s highly emphasised in the build up that Batista has never beaten Undertaker after 3 attempts and he feels like he has a huge chip on his shoulder to finally overcome his demon. Batista says Taker still doesn’t intimidate him, he never has and promises he’ll finally slay The Deadman at Cyber Sunday. The fans choose Stone Cold Steve Austin to be the referee. Batista’s determination and focus finally pays off as he delivers two Batista Bombs to The Undertaker and pins him clean to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in his hometown.)

Punk says both men aren’t ECW Champion because they don’t have his desire and dedication. Punk also says to show his dedication as well as his talent, he’ll fight both of them if he has to which Armando Estrada grants him his wish and books a triple threat match at Survivor Series. Randy Orton (c) vs Shawn Michaels
(Shawn Michaels attacks Randy Orton on the Raw after Cyber Sunday in retaliation to the assault Orton gave him while cowardly getting himself disqualified and hits him with a Sweet Chin Music. Michaels demands another match with Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Orton accepts on the condition that Shawn Michaels is banned from using the Sweet Chin Music. Michaels accepts but also on the condition that if Randy Orton is disqualified like he was at Cyber Sunday, he’ll lose the WWE Championship. Orton accepts and saus Michaels is nothing without the super kick. Michaels attempts to hit Sweet Chin Music but stops when he realises its banned. Orton capitalises quickly, hits an RKO out of nowhere and pins Michaels to retain the WWE Championship.)
Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista (c) vs The Undertaker
(After Cyber Sunday, Batista says he’s proven that he can beat The Undertaker even though it was something he was doubting himself over after constantly hearing he never done so. Batista then says he’s won 1, Taker’s won 1, they’ve had 2 draws so that makes them even. Taker interrupts and tells Batista this isn’t over because not only are they even but he has the one thing that he wants which is the World Championship. Batista says if Taker wants a rematch and one final battle, he’s got it. Taker tells Batista… Hell in a Cell! Batista promises to end this for good meanwhile Taker says Batista will Rest in Peace! During the match, Taker hits Batista with Tombstone Piledriver on the steel steps and covers Batista only for a camera man to pull the referee out of the ring. The camera man is… Edge! Edge smashes The Undertaker over the head with a camera, gives him the Con-Chair-To and puts Batista on top of The Deadman. The referee reluctantly makes the three count, Batista retains the World Heavyweight Championship! Edge then also gives Batista a Con-Chair-To as Survivor Series draws to a close.)
Notes:
(Chris Jericho returns on the Raw after Survivor Series.)
(It’s revealed that Edge and Vickie Guerrero are in a relationship and Vickie told Edge to screw over The Undertaker at Survivor Series. The Deadman then proceeds to Tombstone Vickie Guerrero on the SmackDown after Survivor Series.)

(Big Daddy V wins a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the ECW Championship. Matt Striker warns CM Punk that his days are numbered when he faces this 500 pound mountain of a man. Punk says he’s overcome plenty of challenges but Big Daddy V is his biggest but promises he’ll find a way and find a way he does. Big Daddy V exposes the turn buckle, runs towards Punk who moves and smashes his face off the exposed turnbuckle knocks himself out. Punk then delivers an elbow drop from the top rope and pins Big Daddy V to retain the ECW Championship.)
#1 Contender’s Match for the WWE Championship:
Triple H vs Jeff Hardy
(After Survivor Series, Vince McMahon announces that although they might’ve been partners at Survivor Series, Triple H and Jeff Hardy will be opponents at Armageddon! Vince also says there’s a catch, the winner will face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble! Jeff Hardy wins this match via a roll up and Triple H can’t believe it. After the match, Triple H shakes Hardy’s hand and walks away in a bit of frustration.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (c) vs Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes
Shawn Michaels vs Mr.Kennedy
WWE Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs Chris Jericho
(Chris Jericho interrupts Randy Orton during his highly anticipated return! Jericho says he’s back to once again become the WWE Champion and most importantly to save the fans from The Age of Orton! Orton says while Jericho’s been gone for 2 years, he’s solidified himself as the man, especially after injuring John Cena and he’ll have no hesitation injuring Y2J but this time he’ll not only be gone for 2 years, he’ll be gone for good! Batista (c) vs Edge vs The Undertaker
(After it’s revealed that Vickie Guerrero and Edge are in a relationship, she reveals The Undertaker won’t be getting another shot at Batista’s title and rewards Edge with a match against Batista because he never lost the title. After The Undertaker hits Vickie with a Tombstone on the SmackDown after Survivor Series, Teddy Long is temporarily back in charge and has bad news for Edge, the match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon will be a triple threat match with The Deadman added! Edge is furious and wants Batista to back him up on the fact they should be facing each other on one. Batista tells him he should be facing someone one on one but it should be The Undertaker and not him. Batista goes on to say Edge is nothing but a slimy little weasel and he’s going to punch his teeth down his throat for getting involved at Survivor Series and attacking him also. During the match, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder appear dressed like Edge and get involved and it causes slight confusion to the referee. The Undertaker then delivers a Tombstone Piledriver to Batista only for Edge to smash The Deadman over the back of the head with a chair and capitalise as he pins Batista to win the World Heavyweight Championship!)
Note:
(Ric Flair returns on the Raw after Armageddon. Flair says he’ll never retire and will be wrestling till the day he’s no longer breathing! Vince McMahon interrupts and tells Flair to stop dreaming because the next time he loses a match, his career is over!)
And that’s part 46! I hope you all enjoyed this part of the project and stick along as we head into 2008. I’ll be back very soon for part 47 where we’ll see a memorable Royal Rumble, Floyd Mayweather appear on WWE TV and The Rated R Superstar look to further cement himself as The Ultimate Opportunist at WrestleMania! 2023.06.05 02:29 thatblkman Is Golem-Data Starfleet Property, or an individual with rights?

Previously, when Bruce Maddox was doing his android and positronic research, he obtained orders from Starfleet to force Data to undergo testing and evaluation - in the hopes that Maddox could replicate Soong’s work. A subsequent trial with the Judge Advocate General resulted in Data being determined to not be Starfleet Property, and he was free to choose if he would undergo Maddox’s procedures.
But it didn’t determine whether Data was an individual, and subsequently, that Data died in the aftermath of the final encounter with Shinzon’s Scimitar.
Between then, artificial life forms - at the behest of a Romulan secret society - caused the destruction of Utopia Planetia on Mars, and the Federation banned their existence within Federation borders. Maddox’s, and Alton Soong’s work in Positronics was continued, but outside the Federation. As a result of Romulan Tal Shiar operations, the Federation rescinded the ban, and made the Positronics’ “home world” a protectorate, and granted them freedom to travel.
The assumption here is that they were accorded some, or possibly all, rights of personhood in the Federation, as Admiral Picard is in a golem body and suffers no such restrictions.
Which leads to Golem-Data. This body exists due to Alton Soong wanting to create one that could age as humans do - amongst other reasons, and was working on integrating the following personalities: original-Data, Lore, B-4, original-Data’s daughter Lal, and Soong himself. Soong died before finishing, and Starfleet took possession of it.
As Golem-Data wasn’t sentient - as imperfectly defined by Federation law and custom - it was purposed and programmed as an AI security system for Daystrom Station by Starfleet. It only became “Data” - with the constituent aforementioned personalities integrated, by the work of Geordi and Alana LaForge.
But because Golem-Data was (re)built by Starfleet as an AI, is this Data an individual with Federation rights like Golem-Picard and other synths created (or (re)born) by individuals, or is he/it Starfleet property by virtue of being a computer system built/programmed for a specific purpose?

Gonna lose the champs bowl again
My team went 17-0. I traded almost all my picks to get this team where it is. I’ve lost the last 3 champs bowls. I’m starting to feel like Buffalo Bills back in the 90’s. If I don’t when this title this time I’m firing all my coaches. Let’s see what happens

2023.06.04 20:24 BrisOwnWorld Intimacy aids in romance, asexuality, and good vibes all around

Before I realized I was asexual, I was in college and the women in my senior thesis writer’s group were aghast to discover that I was not, let’s say, on intimate terms with myself. It should have been obvious when I was surprised to discover women self-pleasured that there was something other than “growing up in a conservative town” going on, but hey, that’s why we need better asexual representation in media! Anyways. Since asexuality was not a foregone conclusion to my self love bafflement, my writer’s group took it upon themselves to essentially kidnap me to buy my first vibrator. While I appreciate the intention, their tactics left a lot to be desired (pun intended). And I’ll be honest, given our introduction, me and that first toy had no spark.
Honestly, it wasn’t until I came out as asexual that I found more interest in exploring the world of sex toys and intimacy aids, because I was no longer approaching them to “fix” me and “catch up” to other women my age who had been feeling certain urges since puberty. I was approaching them as a woman with different interests and needs and a genuine curiosity. And I think, had I read some of the following books (both also set in Oregon, the state that has my whole heart), where sex toys are just a tool for pleasure and a way to discover what you like without judgement, I may have learned some things about myself a lot earlier, with a lot less shame attached. So whenever a book includes sex toys to normalize and diversify how people can give each other and themselves pleasure, I pay attention.
Walk on the Wilder Side by Serena Bell. Rachel has always had a plan. And when that plan explodes, rather spectacularly, all at once (losing her dream library job, great apartment, and almost-fiance in a single day), she heads back to her hometown of Rush Creek, OR to figure out her next steps. She’s theoretically prepared to see her long-time crush and her brother’s best friend, Brody Wilder, but the reality of spending time around the bad boy of her dreams is more overwhelming than she was prepared for.
Brody’s life fell apart recently too: the long-time bad seed of the gigantic Wilder family was ready to put his bad boy lifestyle in the past when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant, but when it’s revealed baby Justin isn’t his, he does what he does best: act out. So when Rachel, the girl he’s always cared for but can never touch (bro code), is back in town, he’s doing all that he can to keep his distance. He’s got a family business to rescue, after all, starting with finding new ways to use the fishing boat he’s in charge of to entice the less outdoorsy tourists out on the water.
Then Rachel, as a favor to her mom, brings a big box of sex toys onto his boat (think like a Pampered Chef party but with lube and vibrators), which solves his business problem (people love buying sex toys on boats, it turns out!) but endangers his ability to keep the girl of his dreams at arms length, for both of their good.
I don’t know if everything about the conclusion of this book was earned, but it was satisfying nonetheless, and I really liked how Brody resolved his parenthood crisis with the help and support of Rachel. And I’ll always be a sucker for a book where an extremely type A girl falls for a fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants boy.

Satisfaction Guaranteed by Karelia Stetz-Waters. Cade Elgin may have been born into a rich and fabulous artistic family, but the reason they’re able to continue being rich, fabulous, and artistic is that Cade keeps things running, including her parents’ world-renowned NYC art gallery. So she doesn’t really have time to fart around in Portland, OR after attending her beloved (but kinda estranged) aunt’s funeral. Unfortunately, her aunt had other plans, because she left Cade with a project- save her business, Satisfaction Guaranteed, which sells sex toys and drag queen mermaid Christmas ornaments and also sometimes cookware. Not only that, but Cade also has a co-owner of the inherited failing shop; Selena Mathis, a out bisexual and a closet painter who’s on a self-imposed celibacy kick because she realized she was using sex as a distraction to improving herself and her life.
Cade and Selena have an instant attraction to one another, but are both keeping their cards close to the chest for their own reasons, especially as it becomes clear they have very different ideas for how to run Satisfaction Guaranteed and precious little time to implement whatever compromise they come to. There’s also Selena’s toxic ex sneaking around (leading to Cade being enlisted as her fake fiance) and Cade’s ongoing frustrations with having an orgasm yet feeling too “frigid” for sex toys or intimacy. Based on my intro… I imagine you will not be surprised how SEEN I felt by this character.
We’ve got wild child meets ice queen, except perhaps both of those descriptors aren’t as accurate as they seem, even when they give them to themselves. Selena helps Cade explore her own pleasure in a safe environment, and Cade helps Selena explore her repressed artistic ambitions in a non judgemental space. It’s a beautifully balanced story between two women who aren’t as broken as they think they are, who bring out the best and the worst in each other, and who, thankfully, eventually aren’t afraid to grow and ask for what they need without fear of reproach.

Punk says not only is ECW the land of extreme but it’s also the land of misfits and it makes him and the ECW Championship the perfect marriage. Punk promises to not lose his title to a shameless ass kisser like Elijah Burke.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Mark Henry vs Batista
(After winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Edge says once again he’s proved he’s not only the best wrestler in the company but he’s also the smartest as he watched The Undertaker take the ultimate beating before cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Batista interrupts and tells Edge that he might think he’s smart but the reality is, he’s nothing but a coward who stole the World Heavyweight Championship and it won’t be long till he takes back what’s his. Mark Henry says not only is he back and took out The Undertaker, he’s going to destroy Batista again like he has before and will have no issue taking out Edge too because he has the one thing he really wants an opportunity at, the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge says both men have nothing to do with him and can stay away from his World Heavyweight Championship. However, Teddy Long disagrees and tells Edge that Batista and Mark Henry both have a case so Edge will defend his title against both men at Judgment Day. Edge is furious, already feels like Teddy Long has an agenda against him and demands to be traded back to Raw but Long denies Edge his request. During the match, Batista and Henry are so focused on beating the hell out of each other that it costs them as Edge hits a Spear out of nowhere on Batista and pins him to retain his championship.)
60 Minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Shawn Michaels (6-5)
(Shawn Michaels says he had John Cena beat at Backlash and if he wasn’t lucky, he’d be the WWE Champion. Michaels then challenges Cena to defend the WWE Championship against him one more time at Judgment Day. Cena accepts the challenge because he’s a fighting champion. Michaels says he doesn’t want this to be an ordinary match and tells Cena he wants it to a match he won his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 12, an Iron Man Match! Cena says that’s fine because Shawn Michaels is about to find out he isn’t the only iron man in the WWE. Cena also proposes for it to be for a full hour which Michaels accepts. This is essentially the match they had on Raw in London in real life but with a different outcome. John Cena wins 6-5 to retain the WWE Championship in all time classic. After the match as Shawn Michaels gets up and receives a standing ovation from the fans, Randy Orton from out of nowhere hits him with an RKO, beats the hell out of The Showstopper in front of his wife to the point he bleeds and punts him in the skull. This writes Michaels off TV.)
Notes:
(The WWE Draft takes place on the May 28th 2007 episode of Raw. The same picks as in real life occur apart from the fact Bobby Lashley doesn’t need to be drafted to Raw because he’s already a Raw superstar 😅.)
One Night Stand 2007

Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship:

(Umaga wins the championship after pinning Carlito thanks to Shane McMahon attacking Bobby Lashley who was on verge of retaining his title.)
Street Fight:
Kane vs Mark Henry
(Kane goes after Mark Henry and promises there will be vengeance after what he did to his brother The Undertaker. Henry says Kane doesn’t intimidate him just like The Undertaker doesn’t and he’s just another man on his path of destruction.)
Stretcher Match:
Rob Van Dam vs Randy Orton
(This is Van Dam’s last match in the company for a while as he leaves for TNA.)
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Chris Benoit
(Vince McMahon says he’s confident for sure that CM Punk’s days as ECW champion are rightfully numbered because he’ll be defending his title against the new draft pick… Chris Benoit! Benoit says Punk’s a talented wrestler but he’s no Chris Benoit, the greatest technical wrestler on the planet. Punk says he has a huge level of respect for what Benoit’s accomplished in his wrestling career but he sees this as a massive opportunity to prove doubters like Vince McMahon wrong and he’ll ensure he does in what’s no doubt his biggest challenge since winning the ECW Championship. CM Punk wins clean to retain.)
Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Batista
(Batista says that weasel Edge being the World Champion makes him sick and promises he’ll destroy him and take back the title. Edge says Batista doesn’t deserve another chance at the World Championship but Theodore Long disagrees and says Batista’s two one on one rematches for the title never had a definitive finish so he announces Edge will face Batista at One Night Stand and the match will be… a Steel Cage Match! Edge tries to convince Long to change the stipulation but Long isn’t having it and tells him he’s giving the fans what they want. Edge sneaks a chain into the match, smashes Batista over the head with it and escapes the cage to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)
Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Booker T w/Sharmell
(After being drafted to Raw, Booker T immediately sets his sights on becoming the WWE Champion. Booker T says Raw is a far fairer run place with Jonathan Coachman in charge compared to SmackDown with Teddy Long. Booker T basically kissing the ass of Coachman is why he grants him the opportunity and Coachman also announces it’ll be a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Cena says he’ll punch Booker T’s teeth down his throat while still proving he’s the top dog in the company while Booker T promises to win the 1 title that’s eluded him in his legendary career.)
Note:
(Sadly, the Chris Benoit tragedy happens between the 22nd-24th of June 2007.)
My opinion on Chris Benoit:
(So, now we’re finally here in the timeline 😬. First of all I just want to say to those who may ask “why have you pushed a murderer?” In the timeline, I’m booking as if I’m in all these years. As a booker, how would I know in 2004 for example what’s going to unfold in 2007? That’s why Benoit is pushed. I’m not going to utterly bury him while he’s alive in the timeline. Now what I’m going to do here is bury him now the tragic events have unfolded. Chris Benoit in my opinion is one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time, I will never dispute that. I was a huge fan of his and when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 20, it was an unbelievable moment and the fact he celebrated with Eddie Guerrero topped it all off. However, what he did was unforgivable and anyone who has any conspiracy theories like he was framed, I’m sorry it’s just not true and the police investigated it properly. The facts are, Chris Benoit did murder his wife Nancy and his son Daniel. I don’t care about CTE or the fact he apparently had a year to live with an enlarged heart. As Paul Heyman said an interview once, f*ck him. The facts are that Chris Benoit murdered his wife, murdered his son and then proceeded to kill himself. The WWE will absolutely never put him in the Hall of Fame and that’s the correct decision because Benoit lost that respect when he did what he did. I personally hope he rots and this is the last he’ll ever be mentioned in this timeline. I want to lastly say to finish this off, my heart goes out to those affected by this tragedy back in 2007 and Rest in Peace to Nancy and Daniel Benoit ❤️.)

Umaga (c) vs Santino Marella
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:

WWE Tag Team Championship:
Deuce ‘n Domino (c) w/Cherry vs Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore
Last Chance Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - If Edge is counted out of disqualified, he’ll lose the World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Batista
(After One Night Stand, Batista asks Teddy Long for one more opportunity after Edge’s cowardly acts at One Night Stand. Edge tells Teddy to give Batista the match on one condition, if Batista loses he can never challenge for the title as long as he’s champion. Teddy Long grants Edge his request but also tells him if he gets counted out or disqualified, he’ll lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Batista. During the match, there’s a referee bump and Batista is getting ready to finish this until The Great Khali appears and lays out The Animal! Edge capitalises when the referee regains consciousness and pins Batista to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)
Six-Pack Challenge Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Carlito vs Mr.Kennedy vs Randy Orton vs Booker T w/Sharmell vs Bobby Lashley

John Cena retains the WWE Championship after pinning Carlito. After the match, Bobby Lashley stares down Cena as Night of Champions draws to a close.)
Notes:

Batista vs The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh

Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
John Morrison (c) vs CM Punk
(CM Punk invokes his rematch clause for the ECW Championship. Vince McMahon tries to deny Punk the opportunity to win the title back but CM Punk tells him if he even dares to deny him his rematch then he’ll sue him because it’s a contractual obligation meaning McMahon has no choice but to let Punk compete for the ECW Championship. The newly named John Morrison who’s leaving Johnny Nitro behind tells Vince to not worry, he’ll take care of business for him which Vince gives him the vote of confidence. Punk says this time he’s ready for Morrison unlike at Night of Champions and will become a 2 time ECW Champion. Morrison says even prepared, he’s just too good for Punk. John Morrison cheats to retain the title after hitting Punk with brass knuckles when the referee isn’t looking.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Mark Henry (c) vs Kane
(Teddy Long announces that Mark Henry will defend his title against Kane at The Great American Bash because Kane had earned an opportunity to fight for the World Championship when Edge was champion. Kane says that he’s got unfinished business with Henry and revenge will be sweeter when he wins the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry says Kane will once again feel his wrath just like his brother The Undertaker and Batista have.)
WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Bobby Lashley
(Bobby Lashley wins a Fatal 4-Way match against Booker T, Randy Orton and Mr.Kennedy in order to face John Cena at The Great American Bash. Lashley tells Cena that he respects his dedication and desire but when push comes to shove, he has no hesitation breaking him in half if it means he wins the WWE Championship. Cena says Lashley is an incredible athlete who’s unbelievably gifted but he’s going to show the whole world that Lashley’s time isn’t now the way a lot of people think it is. John Cena retains after delivering an FU from the top rope and both men shake hands after the match. When Cena’s alone in the ring, Randy Orton from out of nowhere delivers an RKO to Cena and holds up the WWE Championship as the show draws to a close.)
Note:
(Bobby Lashley gets injured not long after this event and leaves the company in early 2008.)
SummerSlam 2007
Date: 26/8/07
Location: Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford, New Jersey
Ladder Match for the ECW Championship:
John Morrison (c) vs CM Punk
(CM Punk demands one more match for the ECW Championship against John Morrison which Morrison insists to Vince McMahon to allow his request. Morrison gives Vince an idea for what type of match it should be. Vince likes the idea and announces that CM Punk will face John Morrison at SummerSlam in… A Ladder Match! John Morrison says he’s the prince of parkour and CM Punk's ambition of being the ECW Champion again will be crushed by him for good. Punk promises to become and 2 time ECW champion while also ensuring Morrison has no teeth after the match. CM Punk wins to become a 2 time ECW Champion.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
World’s Greatest Tag Team (c) vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Cruiserweight Championship:
Chavo Guerrero (c) vs Rey Mysterio
(Teddy Long tells Chavo Guerrero he’ll defend his Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam against… Rey Mysterio! Chavo says he’s been waiting for Rey’s return and at the event he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship the year before, he’s going to make sure he puts Rey back on the shelf again but this time for good. Rey Mysterio wins the title and retires the Cruiserweight Championship on the SmackDown after SummerSlam.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Umaga (c) vs Jeff Hardy
Women’s Championship:
Candice Michelle (c) vs Melina vs Mickie James vs Beth Phoenix
Triple H vs Booker T w/Sharmell
(Vignettes start to show that Triple H is returning to the WWE after another Quad injury. Booker T being aware of this challenges Triple H to a match at SummerSlam. Booker T’s motives are simple, Triple H once made his life a living hell and he wants to get revenge he never truly got. Booker T promises to put Triple H back on the shelf and embarrass him on his return. Triple H wins in a 10 minute match and Booker T leaves the company after this match.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Mark Henry (c) vs Batista
(A one on one match that’s a long time in the making. Batista wins a #1 Contender’s Match against Kane and says this is a match he’s wanted for a while because he’s never fully gotten revenge on Mark Henry for putting him out of action which forced him to surrender the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry says he’s also been waiting for full revenge after Batista also cost him a year of his career when he came back and assaulted him. Both men brawl whenever they see each other in the build up. During the match when Henry’s on top… GONG! The lights come back on but Taker doesn’t appear. Henry then receives a Spinebuster from Batista and The Animal pins him to win the World Heavyweight Championship!)
WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Randy Orton
(First time ever in a one on one capacity. Randy Orton says while Cena has been on top for the last few years, he’s always avoided facing him one on one and tells him the reason he does is because he knows The Legend Killer is better than him! Cena tells Orton to stop talking out of his ass and if he wants to fight him, he’s ready for the challenge and just like the others, Randy Orton will be on his list of guys he beat. Randy Orton cheats when the referee isn’t looking by hitting Cena with a low blow. Orton then delivers an RKO and pins John Cena to win the WWE Championship!)
Notes:
(Batista beats Mark Henry in a Street Fight on SmackDown to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in Henry’s rematch clause. The Undertaker’s Gong once again provides a distraction to Henry and there’s also a message on the titantron that reads “The dead will rise, September 16th 2007… RIP Mark Henry!”)
And that’s part 45! I hope you guys enjoyed this part. I’d like to add that I hope you don’t mind my passionate opinion on the man who shall not be named from now on. Anyways, enough of me dwelling about that! I’ll be back very soon to cover the rest of 2007 where we’ll see a few stars return, The Age of Orton begin on Raw and John Cena go down with an injury. Stay safe and stay tuned!

2023.06.03 17:58 AdAwkward8827 Ceiling and floors

Bro , what do you guys be basing someone’s potential off of ? Im always hearing people say someone has a “high ceiling” because of their physical attributes or athleticism but do you know how many of those guys end up being role players .. while also speaking on the fact that Steph Curry, Jokic, Luka, and Cade(projecting, manifesting, but speaking facts ) of course aren’t the best athletes in the world but there some of the best players in the league. Even the age argument can be overstated sometimes, because their are older players or people who started playing late who end up being superstars like Embid or Giannis. The reason I bring this argument up however , is how can someone like whitmore or walker just automatically have a higher upside over a Hendricks ? There’s so many intangibles that go into it , like “team fit” , luck, development, motor and work ethic. I think of how kawhi could only play defense coming out of college but literally transformed his offensive game into something way more.. not to talk down on Dialo or wiggins but those are superior athletes who ceilings are limited. Hendricks (who I think we should pick) has all the tools to be an all star and then some , but I’m just wondering what be the determining factor when we consider who has more upside or is it a bias thing ?

2023.06.02 18:23 Duck_Caught_Upstream An analysis of 5⭐️QBs Since 2004 Pt. 3

Continuing the posts I have made analyzing all 48 5⭐️ QBs as determined by 247 since 2004, today I wanted to share some more of my findings on analyzing how succesful these QBs are.
Part 1 - Analyzed QB Ratings of each 5⭐️ from SRCFB compared to the average QB Rating in the respective era
Part 2 - Analyzed the rate at which 5⭐️QBs have transferred
Today I wanted to take a look at where these QBs started there career versus where they ended up by looking at where they ended up being drafted in the NFL.
For the most part QBs drafted in the early rounds performed well in college but there are always QBs that where undeveloped or not properly utilzied in college that NFL teams believe they can "fix" or "devlop". Obviously this is the college football subreddit and not the NFL one but I still think looking at where these QBs ended up getting drafted says something about there college career. Also I think its important that we remember 5⭐️ QBs can still litearly be children aged 17-18. From the time they committ they still could physically grow more and they will mentally mature more. Trying to project how 17-18 y/o's will both physically and mentally grow and whether or not they will be NFL players is extremly crap-shooty.
As a refresher in Part 1 I gave each QB a score based on there career passer rating in years they had a meanigful amount of snaps compared to the average passer rating of that era. For further explanation see Part 1.
Results - Never invited to the NFL party
Let's first start with the QBs that never even got a sniff of the NFL.
Player (+/- CFBPR Score)
- Matt Tuiasosopo (0) (Never played a meaningful amount of snaps in College and went on to become a MLB player that hit one of the most strange HR's ever)
- Bobby Reid (+23) (The best of the never invited party. Bobby was transferred from Oklahoma St. and played his last season at Texas Southern. According to wikipedia, at Texas Southern he sustained an ACL injury and particpated in 2 pro-days but never got a shot with an NFL team)
- Mitch Mustain (Never played a meaningful amount of snaps in College)
- Gunner Kiel (+17)
- Max Browne (-6)
- Blake Barnett (-6)
- Hunter Johnson (0) (I understand Hunter started some games at Northwestern, but because he started so few and the ones he did start the Wildcats weren't exactly airing it out I felt it was not accuate to compare his Passer Rating to the average Passer Rating these past few seasons. Hunter is currently back at Clemson where he figures to be a backup behind Cade Klubnik. Theoritically he still could sign with an NFL team when his college career is over or even be drafted but I think its safe to say that won't happen at this point)
Results - Undrafted Free Agents
10 of the 44 (~23%) of the 5⭐️ QBs from 2004-2018 signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents. The best being Shea Patterson with a passer rating score of +8 during college and the worst being Dayne Crist with a passer rating score of -19.
Also interesting to note Kyle Allen went undrafted but has gone on to play in 23 NFL games and is currently a member of the Buffalo Bills. From being a 5⭐️ QB, to having to transfer, and then going undrafted, but then starting games in the NFL anyways. Kyle's football journey has had some very interesting ups and downs.
Results - First Round Picks
11 of the 44 (25%) of the 5⭐️ QBs from 2004-2018 where drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. For the most part these QBs excelled in college as there average passer rating score was +34 points. However there where two noticable exceptions. Matthew Stafford's passer rating only exceeded his era by 6 points and Josh Rosen's passer rating score only exceeded his are by 5 points.
What I find so interesting about these outliers is that there careers have gone in two polar opposite directions. Matthew Stafford went on to be everything Lions fans wanted him to be when he was drafted first overall. He just never had the team around him until he was traded to the Rams. Meanwhile Josh Rosen has thrown a total of 12 TD passes in the NFL and hasn't started a game since 2019.
As for the guys drafted in the middle rounds here are some intersting takeaways.
- The best of the those not drafted in the first round where: Aaron Murray (+24), Tajh Boyd (+23), and the aforementioned Bobby Reid (+23) (likely boosted by his year at Texas Southern)
- Of the guys drafted in the middle rounds the best of the bunch from an NFL perspective would probably be defined as journeymen QBs. Chad Henne, Jimmy Clausen, Ryan Mallett, Matt Barkely, Terelle Pryor (who also played as a receiverunner). The best middle round guy hands down has been Tyrod Taylor
Overall Takeaways
- Being a 5* probably gets you at least a shot with an NFL team, even if that shot is as an UDFA
- At the same time 40% of 5* QBs from 2004-2018 went undrafted. I could see this being interpretted either way. On one hand almost 60% of 5* QBs get drafted and around 85% get a shot at making an NFL team. On the other hand, of the absolute top 1% of HS QBs only 60% of them end up getting drafted.
If you made it this far thanks for reading. It’s been fun posting these and interacting with other fans. If you would like me to analyze RBs or WRs I can do that as well just comment or message me. Other positions will be difficult as QBs, RBs, and WRs performance can most easily be captured by stats which is why fantasy football exists.
