Hi All,
I've been looking at ways to setup a protected route in React Router v6 and it seems like it's pretty tricky. I've been trying multiple methods I've found online but none seem to work correctly.
This is my current implementation and right now the issue is that after logging in, it doesn't redirect from the LoginPage to the Application Page. The opposite is also true, if I open an incognito window and type in navigate to /app, it just shows a blank screen instead of redirecting back to the LoginPage.

Could anyone please shed some light on why this might be happening/provide the correct way to implement this?

As the title said, i want to make a webpage like the night sky. The user can creat star and the created star will be at a random position on the sky. If user clicks on a star,( s)he will go to a child page. But i dont know how can i do that. Im a beginner in html, css, JavaScript. I dont know how to generate small image at random position(Or maybe without image? idk).

So there were no signs of any gold stars since I made my final post explaining how creeped out I was.
Yesterday I found some of the kids in my apartment playing and I asked them in a chill playful manner, “so which one of you has been putting those stickers on my car” and they all screamed my neighbors sons name 😂
He’s a little kid, hardly 6 I guess, and I wasn’t surprised since me and my neighbor often talk about muscle cars and he tells me how his sons like my car.
However the kid left for a holiday apparently on day 4 (when I made a post with stars on my front window) and thus it surely wasn’t him who put star stickers on my trunk when I was out. I’ve made my peace believing that it was probably a redditor who happened to spot the car at the right time in the right moment and went on with the stickers 😭😂 which I don’t really mind since it’s harmless and goofy at the end of the day but I would appreciate y’all telling me about it later just so I don’t feel paranoid over having attracted a Reddit stalker… I was genuinely freaked out when I saw stickers on my trunk while I was out and I even took a break from this app cuz the idea of having a stalker and feeling watched is pretty creepy 😭
Overall I feel relieved knowing that it was my neighbors son doing it every morning, I’ve decided to take them all on a ride and get em ice cream when he’s back lol, andddd about the redditor who did it while I was in amwaj islands Mc D, I would appreciate it if you came out too and we could laugh over this and appreciate how u executed this in such a short time span 😭

Fundamental note & how Reddit works

User sees content in social media and shares it to an appropriate subreddit, I'll call them Submitters from this point on. Most of the content you see on Reddit is actually quite fresh, as in less than 24 hours fresh, even for anime art. You can find out yourself by checking the Source in comments and it's most likely from the artist who shared it within the same day. Submitters follow artists on social media and when they see a new artwork in their feed, they share it on Reddit. This is the most common form of content on Reddit, because it's easy and fast for a Submitter to share it. Some artists use Reddit and share their [OC]-tagged art themselves, so there's no Submitter "middleman".
Of course Reddit is full of reposts, but this is less of a problem in anime art subreddits and even less of a problem in /animearmor
Now, there are older works by artists, however this requires a Submitter to go to through their profile page and share what they like, hence more effort for the sake of sharing something.
For a subreddit to function and grow, it needs Submitters. Oh, and they do it for free.

It's a place to share images related to armor and anime style

This is what the subreddit was made for and what it is.
The content medium never mattered; digital illustration, screenshot from a scene, traditional sketch... The content itself matters, which is anime and armor. Does AI art break any of these? No. If the image is a character in anime style wearing armor, then that's all that matters. Made by AI or human is irrelevant here.

Having fresh content flow for the subreddit

There have been recent months where /animearmor wouldn't get any new submissions for over a week. If we want the subreddit to stay active, keep growing and not die, we need content flow. For content, we need active Submitters. AI art provides fresh content flow for the subreddit and an open door for new Submitters.
We've been lax with rule 1 (All posts must be related to armor and anime style) just so we can keep active Submitters sharing content and try to keep the subreddit active.
It's hilarious to see someone claim the subreddit is dead if we allow AI art, when it's always been pretty dead with barely a handful of people contributing. Again: a subreddit needs content flow/Submitters to stay alive.

There just aren't a lot of artists that do anime and armor art consistently

Remember when I talked about how Reddit works? Well, this kind of art doesn't pop up in Submitters daily feed easily, which means less content for the subreddit.
Take a look at yande.re armor tagged posts. On the site, 18800 posts are tagged under armor, that's a lot, right? Well, there are more niche tags that have much more content under them. Also, when you go through the armor-tagged images, majority of them wouldn't really fit the subreddit. So in general, anime armor art is hard to come by.
I created this subreddit. I have contributed the most to this subreddit for years. I know what it takes to gather content and share them to a community. To quote myself from 5 months ago about AI art remains the same:

The subreddit has an active community and gets visibility, but lacks consistent daily content, which is surprisingly hard to come by (for me). With AI art, I can fill that gap.

Fitting content is still hard to come by and seeing all the amazing armored anime images made with AI makes me excited to witness them. It's a shame I've been hesitant to share that great looking content, just because there can be vocal and hostile reception. However, that seems to be only from a minority and I can prove it with numbers.

Reception

The average karma count of the past month's worth of submissions in /animearmor (excluding AI art posts) is around 305.
Their average upvote ratio is around 98%.
So far, this subreddit has had 7 AI art -tagged posts.
AI art average karma count is around 500, from 806, 354, 610, 17, 536, 674, 501.
AI art average upvote ratio is 90% from 96%, 92%, 90%, 73%, 93%, 95%, 92%.
Looking at the averages, "regular" posts are really well received (upvote ratio), but lack to get visibility and popularity (karma count).
AI art posts are controversial to an extent (upvote ratio), but the karma average is pretty high, so they are popular (karma count). This is not only good for the post, but also for the subreddit.
Solely going from numbers perspective, the AI art's "controversial" 90% upvote ratio doesn't really warrant a reason for it to be banned. As for the AI art's high karma average, it only encourages to have more of it. The pool of existing AI art posts is really low to pull meaningful data from, but it is still showing a strong positive starting point for future. It's also proving that majority of users don't care if the image was made by AI. They just like the image, that's all that matters.
The discussion in AI art -tagged posts is mixed. From usual funny content remarks to pointing attention to bad hands or weirdest details. The negative reception part has never reasoned themselves properly as to why AI art is bad for the subreddit, nor has there been any direct contacts of concerns to the mod team.
Images with "AI Art" -Reddit tag can sometimes get overlooked by people that care about it, because they didn't notice it while browsing. There's no need to point that out separately, Sherlock. There have been no cases of lying in posts if the content is made with AI or not. AI art posts are properly tagged.

Going forward

If you don't like it, then hide "AI Art"-tagged posts in the settings if possible or block the person who submits AI Art. Or just unsubscribe from /animearmor if this is such huge deal for you. Be civil. Don't harass others.

Now, just because AI art is allowed doesn't mean we are dedicated to just that. You're hopefully just going to get more anime armor relevant content in the coming future.

"There was no sign of the item you described at the residence" Doombot 0028 said on the other end of the call. "I believe The Office acquired the time machine during the initial assault."
I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed. If The Office had the time machine, then it was only a matter of time until they deciphered how it worked. After that, it was a different kind of 'matter of time'. A much more permanent one.
"What are our orders, sir?" Doombot 0028 asked, breaking the silence.
"Search the area for any clues" I said, "then return to base. We'll-"
The lights in my office went out at the same time that the line went dead. In one smooth motion, I dropped the phone and drew my blaster. The eerie silence that followed offered no explanation for the power outage, but it did reveal that the backup generator had failed to kick in... or had been disabled.
Silently, I slipped around my desk and took up an offensive position on the door frame. If we were under attack, then we wouldn't stand a chance holding up and waiting to defend a position. By my count, I had four combat ready Doombots, around a dozen of Warden's refugees in frames with their training wheels still on, and thirty support minions on the premises. 28 had taken all of our combatant Doombots, and Doctor Doomsday had taken Magma Carter and Communist Manfred.
Shit.
A beam of light swept across the office door as someone passed by. I waited until the footsteps grew quiet, counted to five, and slid the door open. A Doombot's back greeted me a few meters down the hall.
"Status Report" I barked in a whisper at the robot.
The Doombot rotated its head without turning its upper body, confirming my identity and overall state. "We have lost power to the facility" it said without a hint of emotion, then resumed its patrol.
"Well, yeah, I figured that much" I grumbled. The Doombot ignored me and continued sweeping its flashlight through the dark corners of the Doomfort.
A scream echoed down the hall from the other direction. I turned and sprinted down the dark hallway, sacrificing safety for speed. Frightened faces peeked through windows and around doors as I flew towards the sound. Accountants, lawyers, logistics and supply chain officers, all non-combatants under my protection, and all I had was four Doombots and a blaster.
Why was I so bad at being bad? I should have realized that the Doomfort was still a target for multiple known enemies, and probably a few dozen more, all that would leap at the opportunity to take down one of the biggest names on the Supervillain circuit.
"Good evening, Steven!" A cheerful voice called from the shadows.
I lunged forward, transitioning into a combat roll in mid-air and rolling into an open doorway for cover. Once my eyes adjusted to the new level of darkness, I realized I had taken shelter in the lady's restroom.
"Tisk tisk, Steven" the cheerful voice called again, echoing eerily through the dark hallway. "There's no need for your theatrics, we only want to talk to you about-"
I flicked the dial on my blaster from 'über death' to 'kill', then down again to 'stun'. "If you wanted to talk, you could have called" I shouted back. It was true, Doctor Doomsday had taken out an ad a few years back to promote our recruitment figures. Our toll-free line and custom jingle had brought in quite a few fresh, eager minions into the Doomsquad.
"We actually did that first" the voice called out, "we got a message about your voicemail being full."
Oh.
"Regardless, we felt an in person meeting would be more professional" the voice continued, "to discuss an employment opportunity."
I fired several stun blasts down the hall, covering my own advance as I sprinted another few doors down the hallway. The blue tinged plasma illuminated as it flew, revealing several attackers crouched surprisingly close by. The closest unlucky bastard took my boot to his jaw, his head snapping back before he collapsed in a heap.
His friends opened fire, sending their own blue stun bolts at me. One struck my leg as I tried to roll away, instantly rendering it useless. It felt like the limb had just fallen asleep, and had the pins and needles tingle reaction of blood returning.
"There's a particular skill that you have, Steven." The voice chuckled again. "And we don't mean your power. We are in need of that unique skill at The Office".
I reloaded my blaster and tried to force my leg to work again. I had a sinking feeling that I knew what the madman was going to say next.
"We have acquired a piece of technology, and need someone to teach us how it works. I'm led to believe that you, and you alone, figured out how to use the time machine."
Yup, I was right.
"Well, tough shit" I yelled back down the hallway. "I'm not helping you."
The lights snapped back on, illuminating the room and the hallway beyond. "Oh Steven, we were not expecting you to volunteer." The cheerful voice teased.
I peeked around the doorframe, and froze.
Dozens of armed invaders stood along the hallway, each holding a Doomsquad minion at gunpoint. The terrified faces of so many non-combat personnel gripped my heart with an iron fist as I tried, and failed, to come up with a solution.
"We are prepared to offer you a contract" the man with the cheerful voice said.
It took me a moment to find him among the faceless goons, mostly because he wasn't actually present. A tablet screen held by a rather large invader showed the speaker on the other end of a video call. He grinned when I met his gaze, eye to eyepatch.
"Looks like you've seen better days" I said.
"Indeed. So have you" he replied, flexing his hands from the safety of wherever he was.
I reflexively stole a glance at my prosthetic hands, but didn't reply.
"You may have noticed that my soldiers here have no super powers" The Manager said, "so your dampening power won't have any affect. You're outnumbered by a factor of five, and we already captured the rest of your people here. If you accept our generous offer, I will assure you that no harm will come to your minions. If not..."
One of the attackers stepped forward, dragging a frightened young woman in a choke hold. The woman struggled against the man to no avail. With a stab of fear, I realized who she was.
"Tiffany here has-"
I threw my blaster into the hall and limped out, arms raised in surrender. "Don't hurt her. I surrender." I said. Gasps echoed in a chorus of shocked minions as I allowed the nearest attacker to zip tie my hands behind my back.
"Impressive" The Manager said, leaning back into his chair. "A villain that sacrifices himself for his people. Is there a word for that? Like an evil word for heroic..."
"Leave them all alone, and I come quietly" I said sternly. "Harm any of them, and I will personally remove your other eye, manager."
He chuckled. "I like you, Steven. Very well." He waved a dismissive hand at the screen, and the call ended.
The Office's soldiers kept their word, leading me out of the doomfort and releasing my minions. As I was shoved into the awaiting SUV, I tried to cushion my landing with my zip tied hands.
My right hand cooperated. My left did not.
I suppressed a smile as I was secured in place. My left finger began lightly tapping against my side, a series of touches and pauses that took me a moment to recognize as morse code. I concentrated on the message as it repeated, trying to translate it on the fly. The message turned out to be one word, repeated again and again.
"Howdy" the message said.

Longer post ahead. I am a long time fifa player (since fifa 11) that enjoys this game, currently on PC. The gameplay this year, even with all its bullshit, is one of the best ones ever in my opinion, because every fifa has a meta, exploits, popular players etc. yet I get general satisfaction playing fifa 23, and I’m sure a lot of you do too. People sometimes forget how poorly balanced old fifas were where pace was way more important than this fifa, as crazy as it sounds, or where people abused a mechanic so much it identifies with the game to this day (skilling/finesse/longshots and fifa 11, crosses and fifa 14, etc.).
I started playing in December last year. I am happy with how everyone can make a competitive team easily and skill expression is much higher than back in the day, where you could do almost nothing against credit card fc. Yes EA fucked up with the power curve, but everyone can get a 90-95% team free to play in a month or two which allows you to compete with anyone.
My frustration comes with matchmaking and cheaters, and to an extent compatibility issues (PC mostly) which is especially noticeable in fut champs. This weekend is a prime example of it. I am currently a 16-4 player last 3 weekend leagues, (I was a 14-6 and 11-9 player before as I was learning) and this weekend I had a genuine shot at going for rank 1. But guess what prevented me from getting it? Cheaters. Cheaters are plaguing PC so much I have on average met 7-8 per weekend the past month. I already know once I do first 10 games it’s like “oh boy, here they come”.
I went 17-3 today. One loss was legitimate against a better player, fair and square. Two losses came against a forced disconnect cheat and an auto green timing/rating hack cheater. Both times there was nothing I could do. I can’t guarantee I would have gotten rank 1 but at least I would have had a fair chance at it. It honestly felt bittersweet. For those unaware, there are several forms of cheating. There is just ultimate AI, there is invisibility + ultimate AI, there is forced disconnects and there is cheating stats/green timed finishes/skill moves etc. I regularly encounter all of them, especially invisible AI.
It’s becoming so ridiculous I learned the patterns of playing against invisible AI and winning games (using the radar to play, going 1-0 up, alt-tabbing and they disconnect), but the fact that I have to meet cheaters in almost 50% of my fut champs games, for consecutive months without any sign of improvement, is a joke for a multi billionaire company. I can’t remember any other fifa in history with so many cheating issues. It’s sad and frustrating and puts a huge black stain on this game. Rant over.

Hello there !
I recently stopped taking birth control pills and noticed my hair shedding more than usual. Like A LOT more than usual. After a little bit of research, I've discovered that this is a side effect from stopping birth control! I wish I had researched post-Bc side effects before going on the pill or if my doctor would have given me a heads up, that would have been great too hah but here we are! So I'm in my early stages of research regarding my TE and treatments I'm looking into - rosemary oil, monxidil, supplements etc. However, I am all over the place regarding a good Shampoo/ConditioneHair care regiment. There is just SO MUCH stuff out there. I've always been a drugstore shampoo/conditioner girlie (out of laziness unfortunately) but with whats happening to me now, I feel like I need to invest in better hair care products to avoid making my situation worse.
Anyone have any recommendations for Shampoos, Conditioners, hair masks etc that have helped them with lessening the shedding, helping with regrowth, etc etc.
