Gave my exam today morning between 9 am- 1pm IST and passed with 3 above Targets.
First piece of advise: Hit the iron when it is hot.
I got 80% avg (all six mocks) on the TIA simulator and 70% (avg on 2 full length exam on SH essentials with expert) and 62% avg on (SH minis with expert) this was somewhere during 26th May, I knew I was ready but alas, i didn't get any slots in my city of Bangalore to give the exam in person, the earliest available was mid-end of June.
There were dates openning up here and there but that was like 2 days from a given day (don't wanted it to be that earlier as well)
I didn't want my "Mindset" and "test readiness" to fade away.
Finally schedule the exam in Udupi(Manipal) costal town in Karnataka, India 400 kms away from where I stay.
Oh Man! This was the best decision!!!
You have the beach, Krishna temple everything here which are so peaceful when you are in the midst of exam stress. This was a decision worth millions.
Coming to exam, the exam was as tough as it could get.
People here and everywhere had drilled into my mind that 1st section would be tough and 2nd and 3rd would be slightly easier.
It was anything but that!!
I took 90 mins for the first, it was long lengthy paragraphs as usual. Then decided i have to change my strategy since I thought I will have very less time for the 3rd and took a decent 75 mins for the 2nd and the 2nd was no less exhaustive. Finally I thought with 65 mins for the final one i will breeze through, but to my dismay got long worded questions and long worded options there as well.
Here is where all my prepration came into rescue, i skimmed through the questions, read keywords and just brought out the "Midset" which was drilled into my mind.
Finished it with 2 mins remaining.
I started my study journey in Early March and finished it in early June.
Things studied ARs Udemy course and TIA simulator SH essentials DM YT, 100 waterfall, 200 agile and 150 PMBOK questions Scott Payne- Falshcards on Udemy (search Udemy for that) and his video on Mindset which is brilliant which is on YT which I am posting the link here https://youtu.be/Dyxc8T5gvo0

So a friend and I have been looking over the Song of Ice and Fire books, only to learn that the system is no longer supported, it is no longer played. My friend has regaled me with many tales concerning the system and learning this was incredibly disheartening, but I learned to live with it. In our own time we learned that system was taken down due to copyright, but was revamped as a full fantasy series called Sword Chronicles. Having read the rule books and determining that the system is still appealing to us both, we have now set off on finding a game we can play in We are hoping to find a group, or a game master with which we can build a group, to make a game to play in the late night or early morning of most days. We both are nocturnal people and just stay up into the late late morning(like from 6 PM to 6-9 AM), and as such we need people who are either in timezones that are active in those times, or people who are likewise nocturnal We are EST and CST timezone for reference to the rough time in which we are active, although to make this work, we do have some ability to bend schedules

When it comes to my schedule, I'm available pretty much any time in the evening (after 5 or 6pm works best for me but you could probably persuade me to start earlier) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (Time zone is PST). As for what class/character I was thinking of potentially playing, I was mostly leaning toward a Rogue but that could easily change, as I tend to build my characters with the setting, lore, DM input and party composition in mind.

Tips and Tricks:
- The new WMTM drop has generally been happening between 7-7:15 a.m. EST in the U.S and a bit later in Canada, but sometimes it can vary. WMTM restocks typically happen earlier — between 3-5AM EST.
- Best methods to find new items are to search the name of the item you're looking for in the search bar and using the edit in cart trick. Sorting by "new" on the WMTM page is laggy and not recommended.
- Edit in cart trick: Add the item in any size or color to your cart and once it's in your cart edit it to pull up the color you want.
- If something isn't showing up for you when you click on the link, search by item/color name, open the link, delete everything after "MD" in the URL and refresh. you may need to do this a couple of times. if that doesn't work, try clearing cache and cookies and try again.
- The app is laggy, use the website.

Sorry this is a bit of a rant.
So my MIL is a bit of a financial mess. She was made redundant 2 years ago and won't go back to work. She has a small (£400pm) pension and that is her only source of income until she gets the state pension in 5 years time.
My wife got her a job but she only wanted to work Fridays and they got fed up with her declining work so stopped giving her it all together. I even gave her a job working in my business 1 day a week for £1000 p/m but she recently refused that too.
She lives in an old 2 up 2 down terraced house worth about 80k when all done up but it's a shithole, no carpets , no hot water, leaky roof, kitchen falling apart. She doesn't look after it and if there's an issue she just ignores it.
She has recently come asking for money to pay her mortgage for this will be the third time in 3 years we have paid her mortgage, it's only a few hundred a month and not a big deal financially but I resent giving it to her.
I have an idea that we offer to buy her house for £40k. We would pay her mortgage off now (about 15k) and give her a monthly payment of 400pm till she gets her state pension.
She would be able to live there till she dies or goes in a care home and pays £1PM, "rent". we would write up a 30 year lease to that effect. I'd want any maintenance during that time would be her responsibility ( or just ignored like now) we would obviously make sure it was secure enough not to affect the neighbors houses causing us legal issues.
I understand we would be paying more stamp duty on it.
I wondered if anyone else had done something similar and what's everyone's thoughts. I'm at my wit's end with my wife's money sucking family they are always asking for handouts and she won't let them be homeless (understandably).
